6:30 a.m. and store still close. All trash cans are overfilled and trash is all over the parking lot. On trucker side of store, sign on door says door lock walk around store to front door. The only place for truck to take showers with in 30 miles. This store needs to be open 24 hrs a day and 7 days aweek. Especially now when people are in need. The manager of this store should be in the store working now. This is unsatisfactory and something needs to be done. I cannot believe that the Regional manager for pilot has not fired the manager of this store

9/16/2021 10:00 pm This is the dirtiest Pilot I ever seeing. Worst customer service at Subway, (except for the old lady), she was nice. Ordered food from Subway, paid for diesel, and PAID for a shower (UNCLEAN shower) that’s not fair, I paid for a clean shower, this store is disgusting, really dirty, the trash cans outside were overloaded. The manager of this store is not doing his or her best at this store. Pilot, we are wasting money on your stores, we deserve a descent (CLEAN) store, specially showers and bathrooms please! 0 stars from me. I understand that sometimes the employees are getting the minimum wage but this was unacceptable, if that the case, pay for the janitors, they are supposed work hard and may be they’re not doing it because of the little money their getting. I don’t know if this is a problem here, but is definitely poorly management.

Friendly staff but the place is a mess. I got a shower on my phone over the app and went inside, waited for 40 minutes but had to leave. Was able to get my shower credit back on my card but it would have been super awesome to know the showers weren’t working in the first place. If they put up a sign I wouldn’t have waited for so long and I would have continued somewhere else to get a shower. Its discouraging when things like this happen because this is the first time in two days I’ve had time to take a shower. I understand things happen but at least let your customers know what’s going on.

Very rude turned down customers and truck drivers. Manager on a power trip only let 2 people at a time in the store. Management let people cut in line. One of the crew members said only certain people aloud in. I guess us as truck drivers wasnt good enought 400.00 dollars of fuel a person as truck drivers isnt good enough.

Have read lots of bad reviews about this location. Fortunately during my brief fuel stop there was nothing to complain about. Outside was clean and orderly. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Staff was friendly.For gasoline, their prices are going to be among the cheapest in the whole area.For big rig drivers, parking is a bit tight and theyre only three showers. This place is small.No separate or dedicated RV parking.

It smelled like ąpę in my shower. There was pęe on the toilet seat. The sink & toilet had půbęs & crusties all over them. Some previous persons soap was spilled in the shower. The floor was Covid19 certified. Everything was filthy and I even got someone elses freaking hair wrapped around my ňüțskies. I am a frequent customer at this truck stop. Its not the perfect truck stop...there are issues pumps dont work 100% of the time and things arent always going to be excellent youre going to run into issues when you stop here. However, I commend the employees of this truck stop because they deal with a lot of things...from drivers getting angry about fuel pumps not working to people complaining when they cant get what they want they do an excellent job in maintaining their self control. I have seen a few reviews that people see a sign on the door saying subway is opened 24 hours I have walked through these doors plenty of times to see there are NO signs posted about that...it has NOT been opened 24 hours since the COVID19 pandemic so this is completely false and while they may say the sign on the interstate says it...they have absolutely NO CONTROL over what a sign on the interstate says (the people who work inside the travel center) they also dont have control over what the internet says about the truck stop. One review talked about how a manager refused to give them her name and went to the back this is also false...this person expected a woman to get into a mens restroom when that is a safety issue and is completely unacceptable...because there was no maintenance man or any man in the building being able to access this restroom facility. Bottom line is the cashiers and even lower level managers other than the GM cannot control or change anything thats wrong with this travel center but they can do their best to make it the best experience in what they can control. Working in retail the same folks who put negative reviews or say negative things about places like this are the same ones who will STILL continue to stop there and be negative because thats how some people can be. If you know how this place is going to be and dont like it then dont stop there but dont take it out on the innocent people who work there who cant change or control everything that goes on there just be thankful there is a place to stop get gas food etc. Just like drivers expect people to put signs on the diesel pumps when they arent working correctly but what these drivers dont realize is they DO put a sign up but it is taken down by other drivers who rip the signs off so its no where near the people who work insides fault especially when they are trying to get technicians to fix the issues ASAP you cant expect someone who works there to get a hammer and screw driver and start fixing things...they are not qualified to do that. So in conclusion I will say this Pilot Travel Centers in Denham Springs is NOT a perfect truck stop...if youre looking for perfect youll be looking forever because its not out there...just be thankful that there is one to stop at and that the workers inside can only do so much and will try very hard to satisfy the customers need. Thank you Pilot Travel Centers in Denham Springs for all that youve done and you continue to do.

For truck drivers.....FUEL. minimum 2 pumps dont work, minimum 1 pump key board doesnt work (so you cant pay by app or at pump), it will take you long time to get in get out for fuel ( because this place is so small and half of the pumps have problems). SCALE. if you need one time weighting you truck, its can be ok but if you reweight, its can take a while ( specially if you dont use app).SHOWERS. at this moment they dont work( see attached foto). STORE . its a mess, all products are on the floor so you cant even walk between rows. PARKING . I saw a lot of them are paid (reserved). Trash 🗑cans are full, trash all around pumps.

Wow! What terrible reviews. But I agree.. DO NOT STOP HERE if you have an RV. I planned a stop carefully. Their app said this was an RV friendly location. It was NOT. There is NO real room to get an RV in and out. Save yourself the aggravation and plan to stop at a Loves or TA or just about any other chain. This has happened to me before. So needless to say I never made it insode....but it did look a little worn from the outside. Pilots and Flying J are not worth the risk of wasted time and running pout of gas. Also called them to complain. Phone rang 20-30 times NO ANSWER. Other reviews stated the exact same thing.

Horrible encounter I experienced at store 079 this morning . I was overcharged for some drinks and when I made the cashier Ryan aware he states “well you shouldn’t have bought it then” I said “did you really just say that to me?” He shrugs his shoulders and says “yes, you shouldn’t have bought them” as if I couldn’t afford them at the price they rang up for. The issue was I was expecting to pay the price advertised on the cooler and not the price they rang up for. Ryan stated “I understand but I just ring them up” never offering to adjust the price or to explain why the advertised price was different from the price that was ringing up. Inappropriate, rude and unprofessional all around on this Christmas Day. ***Ms. Kim did come in and save the day and rectify the situation and offered to remove the advertised sign from the Coca Cola cooler since it wasn’t ringing up for that price as well as refunding me the difference in pricing. That was my only issue with the purchase before Ryan made his very unprofessional and unwarranted comment which is the reason for my review this morning.

Ive been to this location maybe 5 times in the last 3 years, but every time Ive been here theres never any truck parking or showers (theyve monetize a quarter of the lot).The store inside is small and disorganized.Youre better off going a few miles south to the Loves or even hit a rest area. Theyre better provisioned and you wont get screamed no showers at when you walk in the door.

Went to buy a shower and was told there was no cold water? Shower would be at own risk? Could be very hot... but they had not had any complaints about it.. ok bought shower.. water was fine. But shower room # 2 was extremely small and the dry bench in the room was very small &halfway underneath the sink so not so useable..??!! And no space at sink to place items needed to clean up.. not sure if they are all that small or not. But very clean.

Very small location, probably holds about 20 trucks. The showers are remodeled but are the size of a closet. The staff were very friendly and store was clean. There is also a washer and dryer on site. If your hungry their is a subway inside. Beware of Gators and snakes.

Terrible parking lot. Had to go a few miles down the road to turn around and come back because it’s a one way in, one way out, type place and there were so many trucks coming out the wrong way so no one could enter. This place isn’t even worth the hassle. Stop somewhere else if you can.

Small parking lot, paid spaces are poorly marked. I wanted to walk over to Bass Pro, but too many shady characters constantly walking around the lot looking into trucks. Never went into the store. 8hr break and Gone!

Pumps never work.

If you drive a truck dont stop. This place is nothing but a gas station with a few parking spaces in back. Most of the trucks taking up spaces are bobtail or local drivers that go home at night. And the parking lot is way too small so you run a very high risk of getting damage to your truck.

Received bad fuel at pump #19 which cost us $1700 to clear out a check engine light on our Tiffan Motorhome and had us stranded at the Moss Point Pilot truck stop.This is not a RV friendly fuel stop. If you have a Diesel pusher do not stop here!!

Its a little Old Pilot with 1 way in and 1 way out. Once you turn off of I12 you are committed. There is no place to turn around. Fuel Islands are always busy. People inside have listened to Steeringwheel holders complain about the samething continuously, so they dont really care. If your not about to run out of fuel keep going.

Avoid! Went in at 0530 to get a shower. All showers were vacant. Paid for the shower. I had to wait until 0700 for these vacant showers to be cleaned. The store was vacant of customers. Avoid this place. The employs are lazy and your coming here inconveniences them collecting checks for little to no work.

Showers need inspection by management each and every time theyre cleaned by staff members especially since management cannot trust said staff members to be the final inspectors of their own work, shower #2 was indeed filthy tonight even after a so called cleaning and sanitizing, am now wishing i had truly taken photos

They have great coffee, they are very friendly, an you can rest there if you need to. Very safe place to stop at. I am a truck driver for 23 years, unlike other drivers I watch out for the car drivers & an the public.

This facility is clean and it is wheel chair accessible. It has a good restaurant with a buffet with takeout food and good service. There is a truckers lounge with showers and clothing was room. The employee team is also good. The selves are always stocked with product. You can get your 18 wheelers serviced here up until 11 pm or 2100 hours. This shop is only equipped to service 18 wheelers. There is lots of truck parking. You have a grocery store less than a 150 yards from this location and many other restaurants near. Wal-Mart is on the opposite side of the interstate which is I-10, Lows and there its an out door mall about 1.5 miles away with early access right onto the interstate. Just like any other truck stop, truckers you know that these STOPS start to fill up after 5 pm or 1700 hours. Great place to be on your reset and 10 hours break.

Fresh gas and theres an Arbys. Have to travel a round about, but easy to get back on the Freeway. Has your sweet cream for the coffee. The restrooms are clean and a wide selection of truckers toys.

Lady from Subway dont respect customersIt was 5 people in the line and she didnt provide service to anyone.She just walking around, even after lady from cashier told her that she needs to work,she just left.All line just grabbed another sandwiches and left.Basically Subway lost at least 5 customers this morning.I dont understand what is the point to have employees like this?

Reserved a spot last week. Arrive at 730, guess what? No spot. They just want to offer my money back. This is BS. Why would I want my money back? I want a reserved spot that I paid for a week ago! Pilot! This is the 3rd time in 4 months. Why is this so complicated. I am really sick of this. Maybe I need to go to TA for fuel food and parking.

About the shower situation Im in line. 2 guest waiting Im number 8 in line. 3 showers open, no one cleaning showers, open with no one in them for almost 30 min . When I leave they may give the shower I paid for to someone for free.

This store is a complete run down and needs repair badly. Fuel islands are inoperable and restrooms are way to small and locks are even broken. Avoid coming here unless you have no choice!

The manager is rude, we were waiting to pump gas bc to inconsiderate people left their cars at the pump to go in and buy items and since we are a long vehicle it was the only pumps we could use. The manager just said oh I could make that turn. Lol you cant even run your store.

This truck stop has everything you could possibly want. There is a great selection of things one would normally find in a convenience store and much more. There is a Subway and its a great place for truckers wanting to shower w bingo right next door.

A great place to stop on a road trip. It offers nice clean restrooms, even with showers. The selections of food, beverage, and smacks are abundant enough to satisfy anyones appetite. Also, they have accessories for your vehicles that can assist you in your travels. The attendant are pleasant and helpful, greeting all with a smile and kind words.

Personally this is my favorite pilot. Very close to good non truck stop food and bass pro shops is a very short walk away. The showers are a little small but nothing to cry about. Yes the parking lot is small so get there early if you want a great place to stay. Oh and for the high society truckers theres a sushi bar right behind the truck parking. For the rest of us men, hooters is right across from there.

Staff handled our 2 large bus loads of teenagers efficiently and courteously. We alternated our long checkout line with travelers not in our group to help. Bathroom was clean and well stocked even for all of us. Just wish Id had time to get a cup of coffee since it looked so good even at 7pm

As a trucker this was the worst pilot Ive ever seen. The pump we pulled up to was half broken; no card reader, unable to use app because key pad broken, passenger side pump broken. When I suggested closing the lane I was told why, you can walk in and pay. Yeah and only get 1/2 filled. Wont stop here again after sitting in line waiting for pump for 45 min. No way to change lanes. Ridiculous

A pain to get on and off the freeway, small store and lot and their only food option, subway, was doing inventory and closed at noon. Color me unimpressed

They had fuel? Thats about it. Very tight fit if your not in the 5th hole. Good luck finding parking. Just assume its full of dropped trailers

Always look for a Pilot whenever I travel. I can count on great services with friendly staff and clean facilities. Download the app for rewards and coupons that make stopping in a must. Earn points on fuel to use in the store. Most locations have a food chain inside like Subway. Get a Philmore cup for discounted refills and hot beverages. Stations are pretty spaced out, but perfect when traveling long distances to take a quick refuel break and get back on the road. Many locations have certified truck scales and separate entrance for commercial trucks keeping the consumer area open to quickly get in and out.

Very very small. Not as small as the one in Charlotte on 95 but almost. However, the store was clean and organized. Staff was friendly and helpful. Customers that lingered were talkative and just had a good experience. My phone needed to charge so I could finish my trip. So, I was here lingering for a longer period of time than just a quick stop. Very small drivers lounge. However there were outlets and TVs.

This pilot has decent gas prices, a great drink selection and a subway located inside. I gave a 4 because the subway has no seating, it is take out only and this pilot is always crowded. The service is good here and the workers are nice.

Waited an hour after fueling for the spot that I reserved on my way in, all whole watching the minutes on my ELD tick by. Part of the problem is irresponsible drivers, but that does not managements responsibility to do their job. If my Drive time wasnt up, Id leave right now, but o cant. Gas prices are alright. The bathrooms are pretty nice. There are showere and plenty of coverage from sun and rain at the pumps. Plenty of snacks and drinks and a subway as well.

I wish I could give them Zero stars. They have no customer service skills. The pumps had a hole in multiple pumps instead of putting signs up or informing people they inside laughing. Im saying if someone light a cigarette then we all in danger or dead. This is a major safty issue and a waste of money.

Dont bother paying for Prime Parking at this location. Just pull in and take a spot. The staff is not allowed to go outside after dark and move you and customer service will not issue refunds. Basically you can pay gor a spot but if someone is in your spot when you get the Pilot thanks you for the free money and piss off. Also hope you dont need a shower because the staff is too busy standing around looking busy doing nothing to clean them so you will be eaiting until all 3 need cleaning. Stood around for 30 minutes with an open shower. Just needed cleaning and not one person could be bothered with it. I will plan me routes to avoid this location.

Great place to park for the night. Not a huge parking lot, but quite a few parking spaces. So tired of Subway, And I love Subway, but not every other day. Great coffee in the morning. Clean bathroom facilities.

My experience deals specifically with the Subway store at this location.After being on the road for six hours, my wife and I stopped here for gas and a rest. After both using the washroom we had a particularly bad experience ordering a meatball sandwich. The young slim built girl (Andrea on name tag), was direct and rude. I asked how the meatballs were served and this seemed to annoy her. But having never ordered at a Subway before, I really had no idea. (My wife does such things). Then when she asked what toppings and we decided to try all minus what appeared to be spinach leaves, she became irritated and rude. We left. We hope no one else has a similar experience and we certainly hope she was just having a one off bad day. And hopefully this is not how she regularly acts. The gas service was normal and the washroom was clean and acceptable.
