Came on here with a flat. Jeff had 6 customers in there. Asked if he could change a flat but was alone and busy selling bikes. He gave me the tube, tire irons and a wrench. I changed it out and he pumped it up and i was on my way. Super helpful! Super nice! Went to a different shop earlier with not even close to the service. Jeff your the man!!!!

Have had a great experience with The Bicycle Lab team. Had them tune up both my wifes and my bikes and bought new pedals with baskets from them last week. I couldnt get the old pedals off so they did it for me. They have also have provided lots of great advice on how to grease my chains, etc. I highly recommend this bike shop.

Despite the small space, the crowded nature, and the unusual owner, it is an exceptional bike store. I hadnt realized how pricy repairs had become, but times are mad. I would recommend this store over anything else in the area., or region. He is knowledgeable, sincere, and worthy of your business.

Just by the second time coming to the shop and I can tell you... great service. Very friendly guys, fast, and efficient with their service. First time I came was for a rear derailleur adjustment and they fixed it right away! Also, good prices compare to other over-priced stores in the area. I bought a brand new bike into his shop, which the bike was already assembled just needed the brakes adjusted and gears adjusted, he says you need a bike tuneup, charged me 150$ to calibrate breaks and gears? And the bikes gears dont even work right the bike worked better before I brought it to his shop. What a rip off!!!!

I went to the Bicycle Lab yesterday to check for a comfier seat cushion and to see if they could raise my handle bars a little and the care I got knowledge I walked away with was easily worth more than what I paid for. They did everything on site and quick, asked me to ride around to see how I felt about it, and adjusted the seat when they realized the seat was too low for me (the change made it a lot easier to bike around and I wouldnt have thought about it because I know nothing about bikes) and filled up my tires when they saw it was almost flat. After getting home, I realized there was a slightly closer bike shop to me, but Ill keep going out of my way to go to this one.

I rode my bike to my VB20 workout and my kick stand was about to fall off. Kept hitting my pedal and/or my wheel. Michelle recommend I stop in a few doors down and see if they could help. My first time in and the problem was solved in minutes. Had a great conversation with the owner. High recommend this business.

One of the best experiences Ive ever had - super-knowledgeable; over-the-top helpful; trying to reduce your costs to solve any problem, even to their own detriment; after fixing a flat-tire on an emergency basis made it clear that his customers with less pressing issues came first after the flat was fixed. I bought my Felt bike from The bicycle Lab back in January of 2015. Both the bike and The bicycle Lab have been great to me since then. The price always ends up being less than i anticipated, and the courteous and friendly service is always genuine and supportive. Jeff is always friendly and kind, and actually remembers you each time you walk in the door, even if its been months. Even though I tend to never listen to Jeffs advice when he tells me how to keep from doing bad things to my bike, I still go to him for his sage advice and support in home bike maintenance and proper care of the bike.

Having just moved to Delray Beach from Pittsburgh, I was in need of a great local bike shop. The Bicycle Lab is a wonderful bike shop. Although it is definitely geared towards the more ardent cyclist; they are helpful and humble enough to provide assistance to people with all walks of bicycle knowledge. The owner and the mechanic are both very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They are fairly priced and trustworthy. I do not know much about bicycles but I depend on my bicycle for the majority of my transportation. It was great to go to a bike shop that provided such efficient and knowledgeable service without pretentious feelings that I have experienced at other bike shops. They really care about their customers and I sincerely appreciate all the help they have provided me. I will definitely continue going to the Bicycle Lab for all of my cycling needs. Not only do they have a great location and fair prices; they are down to earth, trustworthy people that are willing to go the extra mile to provide superior service.

Jeff is a serious rider, but didnt talk down to me as I learned about cruising bikes. His explanation of the difference between quality bikes and a big box store bike was pretty much what Id read in my own research. After helping installing my accessories, I came away with a bike that made no compromises in meeting my needs, and the certain feeling that coming back for service will be a pleasure.

I was about to purchase a bike from one of the big box companies. Instead I researched local owned companies and found Jeff and the bicycle lab due to their amazing reviews. Im so glad I read and trusted what others wrote as it is all true. Jeff and Jim were very welcoming when we showed up near closing time. Jeff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable with my choice and had me test drive the bikes multiple times. There is no pressure and they handle sales the way I think most want it with solid advice and a caring attitude. If you are in the market to purchase or need anything for your bicycle give them an opportunity.

Very impressed with the service here. After initially being told my flat tire would have to be repaired tomorrow, I showed up and Jeff decided hed be able to take care of the tire on the spot. He was patient and answered my questions about biking, and shared a bit of his best practices for bike maintenance (how to lie it down in my car, how to tighten the wheel). I really appreciated the level of care and attention to detail. I will be back!

The Bicycle Lab team are clear about the elements contributing to good (in my case, road) cycling, not least of which is nutrition —before, during, and after riding. Just had the best experience at this bike shop .. The owner was so kind and honest .. hes so busy fixing bikes during the CD-19 outbreak 😷 but not so busy to come outside and help me take my bike out and put some air in my tire instead of spending 90$ for a tuneup ... Highly recommend this place if not for the kindness by the owner the cute puppies inside ..

My sons bike had flat tires and I kept pumping the tires up but they never seemed to fill up so I took the bike to The Bicycle Lab. They could have told me I needed new tires but what we uncovered was that my pump was defective. Jeff and his team were honest people and charged me nothing to fill up the tires. I felt so pleased with their service that I bought a new pump. Jeff also educated me on what to look out for with tire pressure and other relevant info. I would recommend The Bicycle Lab to anyone!!

I have never given a negative review before, but as a female Ive never dealt with such a horrible businessman. He sold me items I didnt need, then told me how to improperly fix my bike, then when I tried to return items he told me he couldnt credit to my card because it didnt post yet(saying this without even trying to do the return, and knowing you can post both charges and credits at an any time on a CC). When I asked then for something in writing to deny the charges to my card...he could all of a sudden get me a credit. The person had the worst customer service Ive ever had in my life.

I stopped by the Bicycle Lab today for help removing an accessory. This was not an issue of something I bought from them, but rather an aftermarket that was installed that I had struggled with. Jeff couldnt have been more helpful. He stopped what he was doing, walked outside with me and removed the part. Ive been stopping by this store since me and my bicycle moved here from Mexico about 3 years ago. I cant imagine going anywhere else. I highly and confidently recommend this bike shop.

As a first time buyer, Jeff was OUTSTANDING!! I visited the shop a few times while I was deciding which type of bike to purchase and Jess spent nearly an hour walking me through all the options. After I was fitted and came to pick up the bike, Jeff was very helpful not only in what equipment to use, but technique and form on the bike, routes in the area and groups to join. Truly a small town feel, and the bike is great! I would highly recommend!

My elderly parents had flat tires on their bikes that they ride daily. The Bicycle Lab fixed the tires immediately while practicing proper social distancing.

My wife and had a little bit of an odd request and the guys at The Bicycle Lab in Del Ray Beach came through big time. We have a 5 month old and the tires on his stroller were almost completely flat. We came in after about a 2.5mile walk and they pumped the tires up and sent us on our way. Might sound like nothing to some, but for me and my wife it meant a lot. Thanks guys.

After 30 years of riding on frames too large, Jeff sized me for a new Z4 Felt and I was out on a 30 mile ride the next day in perfect comfort. Since I was just starting my season it was incredible that I could ride that well in my new position. I feared Id have to give up cycling.Jim & Jeff at The Bicycle Lab turned me around!Together, they spent 5 hrs with me over 3 days to identify the bike best suited for my intentions, size a bike to my ancient body, and fit it once it arrived. They are very knowledgeable, listen, and explain clearly, with no pretensions.I bought a bike at a different shop a few years ago. Although they spent a few minutes to size a bike for me, it hurt to ride more than 10 miles. Jeff & Jim went many extra miles, ordered the bike (instead of conveniently selling one off the floor), and the bike they delivered fit perfectly.I was very tentative about riding in this heavy Florida traffic; Jeff outfitted the bike with safety lights and upgraded other outdated gear that I had. No pressure. Their prices are very reasonable. With a properly performing bike, I now feel confident - while remaining cautious - riding this bike in traffic.During the 5 hours I was there, numerous people came into the store to chat or to buy a bike or needing repairs. Jeff and Jim were very courteous to everyone, whether novices looking for comfort bikes or experts looking for advice or repairs.I, with my fossilized bones, am on the road again. Went in looking for a specific bike, but found excellent help and loads of satisfied customers. Jeff took the time to answer all my questions and squelch my fears since I hadnt been on a bike since I was 12 years old. Brought my FELT bike in for a check up and add a stand, They found a VERY small crack in an insignificant part of the lower frame, Would not hurt me still biking on it, Somehow the discovered it and told me about it and will take care of it with manufacturer to get me a new frame. Most shops shy away from my giant sized tandem recumbent bike (AZUB Twin) but Jim didnt hesitate wrestling it into the Labs small shop work area to replace its front derailleur. Jim knew the market well enough to find a suitable derailleur, unlike that installed back in Oregon which didnt work out at all. Waiting around the shop during the job I witnessed Jeff take much time to patiently explain to a lady why a road bike shed brought in couldnt be re-fitted to serve the purpose she was considering, laying it all out for her with suggestions about prospective solutions in the used bike market -- on and on. Very obviously he wasnt trying to maneuver her to what he had on his showroom floor, rather to genuinely help her understand what she was up against and possible solutions.

Best bicycle shop experience in a really long time! I had a really tall order. I needed a bike tuned up in a 24 hour turn around time two days before Christmas. After calling around to many bike shops in the area and constantly being told I was nuts for asking for such a thing, the owner of Bicycle Lab let me know that it wasnt a problem at all. I brought the bike in and they had it done in less than a day! My bike needed a tune up, new rear derailleur, new tires, and new grip tape. Since I know a thing or two about bike repair, I was able to save myself a few bucks by doing some of the labor myself, a suggestion made by the owner!! These people are honest, knowledgeable, and suuuuper nice!

This is honesty the best bike shop you can go to! Recently I my first road bike online and I was unaware that it would come unassembled. Im an out of state student so my dads not here to help me and to ask these questions. After failing miserably trying to put it together my self I decided to bring it into the shop. I know nothing about road bikes and how much it should cost to have labor done on them but they were completely honest with me and did not take advantage of me at all. I am 22 and look very young for my age so the majority of the time I am taken advantage of. It is refreshing to know that there are kind honest people out there that will do whats best for their customers. Oh, not only did they fix my bike quickly but helped me install a bike rack on my car that I didnt even buy from there. I didnt even ask him to help me he just offered. There is no way I would of figured it out by myself. I would recommend this place to anyone if you want a reliable service. Some of the nicest guys I have ever met. Great business!

I purchased a new Cannondale hybrid from Jeff and could not be happier. I was a complete novice and this was a big purchase for me. Jeffs knowledge, expertise, and overall customer assistance made the whole experience fantastic. I have since had to make a few adjustments to my bike and he and Jim could not have been more than accommodating.

Just as the doors opened at 10am i came walking in with two wheels needing a cassette swapped out. :| From the first moment i was greeted with a friendly smile, nice surprise i might say. Very few bike shops are awake and friendly. The selection of bikes, apparel and nutrition was quality - some of my favorites. I am new to the area and after making a few stops at different shops to see whom id like to frequent with service etc and it is Bicycle Lab that i will come back to and i did for a Fit with two of my road bikes....and i will be going back for a tune-up on my creaking mountain mike. Jeff was very informative in every step of the process - i learned quite a bit from Jeff and i really appreciated the attention to detail. My bike is my baby and i appreciate that they handle with as much care as i do. And it doesnt stop there - the mechanic Jim was a friendly fellow that helped guide me in taking care of my bike - staff know there bikes!!. I too am a huge fan and recommend this shop. It is not the closest shop, but i put in the drive for the quality they put into their service.

Ive been coming here for a while, told all of my boys to come to this place for business but recently I just purchased a new road bike and came here to simply have my rear derailers adjusted and the owner insisted I get a bike tune up done. I told him no need as I can tune it up myself all I needed was to adjust my rear derailers a $20.00 fix. So he said ok I just dropped off my bike and came back about two hours later. When I arrived I was happy about getting my bike on the road finally and to my surprise nothing had been done! He told me that I really needed to get my bike tuned up a $100.00 job and I told him no so he said he wanted to pass on my bike that he would not fix it. For safety issues was his excuse. Sucks to have to look for a new bike shop but I hate when people are trying to get ever cent out of u!

I am so happy that I bought my bike here. If you are looking for a local bike shop that is authentic, knowledgeable, and caring, I highly recommend this place. The owner Jeff has been so helpful in my search for a good bike. I was just a few weeks away from moving to UCF, which is a huge campus, so I really needed dependable and light transportation to get to my classes. I didnt want to deal with the hassle of walking for 20+ minutes multiple times a day. I originally fancied the fixed gear bike because it is easy to maintain, ultra light and really fast. However Jeff and his other co-worker informed of the risks of the fixed gear and recommended an even better alternative, a single speed bike with coaster brakes. It doesnt affect my knees like a fixed gear does but has all the benefits of a fixed gear(light, fast, easy maintenance). They made sure I knew more than I needed to, so I could tell they really cared about their customers. For example, they said its better I didnt cover my bike with a cover because the moisture would hasten the rusting process and that I should pump air into my tires a bit every other day. Also one of the most useful tips they gave me was in regards to bike theft at colleges. They said in order to keep your bike as safe as possible, park it by the nicest bike you can find lol! If you are a novice with little to no experience like me (I hadnt ridden a bike for years) I would recommend you go to this store. Even if youre more advanced, professional, etc. you should take a visit at the least and gauge your own perspective about the place in person. Just like the other commentators stated, I didnt really feel any pressure to buy anything. I did a bit in regards to simple stuff like the chain lube and kick stand, but thats reasonable. Dont forget, theyre not a major conglomerate like WalMart where the workers could care less about what you buy. Theyre local business owners that still need income to keep running their store. I gladly bought a bike lock from them even though I could have found a cheap one made in China from some major retailer. If youre reading this, at least visit the place! It is worth the trip.
