Highly recommend!! The food is amazing, but the customer service, also just as amazing!! I love how the staff was so friendly and welcoming. You were always checked on, even if they were not waiting your table they made sure you didn’t need anything and if you did, they would get it to you very quickly! All staff engaged with you, even just simply passing by they would ask how you are. The food was very authentic and delicious! The food was brought out quite quickly for the restaurant being packed. The prices are perfect for the amount served, quality, and quantity. The Mexican restaurant and store is a great duo. You definitely must give this place a try, and I know you’ll be back for more, for sure!

I was pleasantly surprised at the delicious food and friendly service. The name of the place is confusing, because you would think it is only a Mexican food grocery store, but it is so much more. All the servers and host/hostess were all very friendly. They worked as a team. I had the enchiladas Mexicana, and it tasted very fresh and was very delicious. My mother in law had a ground beef taco salad that she loved.

We spent two weeks this summer road tripping all over the southwest, and we ate at a new Mexican restaurant every single day.Not one of them measured up to La Jaliscience. No joke.Plus best refried beans Ive ever had in my entire life.

Wednesday is always busy because you cant find a better steak taco around here and they only charge $1 a piece. I would recommend it to anyone that likes good Mexican food.

The restaurant side is decent but they really need to work on their mexican rice recipe. It was straight up NOT mexican rice.

I love this place. The food and drink are so good and decently priced. My fav is the Shrimp Taco and the Pineapple Fresca water. The Horchata is also very delicious.

Great authentic Mexican food. One side is a cafe the other a grocery store. The only downside was the parking is a premium. The guacamole dip is worth getting!! You wont be disappointed.

Food tasted good but there was BONES IN IT I ORDER A TORTA DE ASADA they gave me a torta de carnitas or something thats was not Asada and the worst part is that there was a cockaroach on the table

The best Mexican food within at least 45 minutes if not all of nw ohio.. incredibly good food and super friendly people. There isnt a bad thing on the menu so try everything and enjoy.

La Jalisience has the BEST street tacos in Defiance. The building is clean and new. The staff is very friendly and attentive. You seriously have to try the chicken tacos you will not be disappointed.

I must say since the new revamp the food quality seemed to improve 1000% These guys are on their way to be the D Town Institution for tacos. I always get a barbacoa, asada, and carnitas tacos w the cilantro and onion. You guys got some incredible hot sauce 👌🔥

Easily one of the best burritos Ive ever had. The grocery side has a nice assortment of items, but the food is top notch. A lot of the Mexican restaurants around here are pretty similar (not that thats a bad thing), but the food offered here is truly unique and a nice change of pace.

. The food was very good specially the Rice and beans. The beef was a little tuff. Was not asked if we wanted flour or corn tortiallas. Was given corn. Wanted flour and we had to wait to get the flour ones. Can understand because they were very busy. Didnt really know who our waitress was. Had three different waiters.
