**Business owners take note** Martin and the crew at Batt and Stevens pulled off a miracle! A week before the busiest part of our Agricultural season hit, our business pickup truck sustained deer collision damage. Without our DOTd vehicles pulling Jet A fuel down the road we wouldve been dead in the water. After getting my insurance paprwork sent to them I was given a best case scenario of four days and over a weekend, so six days total and i knew that was pushing it. I dropped it off on a Wednesday and they called me on Friday afternoon. 2 days at the shop, in and out!!! From first contact with paperwork to out the door was 4 days! Cant say enough about the great service I recieved. Their courtesy in working with me on such a tight schedule was greatly appreciated. This literally saved me $$$ in downtime. I havent had to use Batt and Stevens, however they are a great business to have in the Jewell community. They always have a lot of business and are currently adding a new building to serve the community better. The towing service did help a friend of mine a few months back and he was really pleased. After a car backed into my wifes Chrysler 300, we asked around the Defiance area where the best body shop was to take a car to be repaired. Batt & Stevens came highly recommended, and we were not disappointed. We dropped the car off on a Tuesday morning and had it back by Thursday. Our bumper looked as good as new. Mark was knowledgeable and friendly, and we had an overall great experience with them. Not hoping we need any body work done again anytime soon, but if we do...we will be going back to Batt & Stevens. And, I received a free t-shirt with the service...which I will gladly wear to advertise their business.

I hit a deer a few years ago, end of 2018, on 24 coming home from work and ended up totaling my Chevy Traverse. I got my new 2017 Chevy Equinox and shortly after that I had an accident in July 2019 (I admit...it was my fault!) But the staff there did every thing professionally and kept me informed with the progress on it being fixed. A few months later of the 2019, the first snow/ice fall, I slid on ice and smashed out my front end again. Yes...of the same vehicle!!!! Once again, I took my vehicle to Batt and Steven’s. I’ve been using Batt and Steven’s as long as I can remember. I would t take my vehicle anywhere else to get fixed.Always A Satisfied Customer!!!

When I was young my dad always used Batt & Stevens and my insurance company recommends them too. We needed an estimate and it was done quickly and was very reasonable! When we have friends that need work done we suggest they call Batt & Stevens.

I used their services a couple months ago. A trailer hitch left some gouges in the back of my brand new Durango. They did a fabulous job!! I have never had to take a vehicle there but I had heard they are the best. I did not get any other estimates because Batt and Steven’s are the best. They have been around for many many years. We had a deer collision one time and they did bodywork on my car. We had that car for years and years and years after. We decided at one point to go ahead and take it to recycling. The whole car had parts where the paint was fading and rusting except the part they worked on still looked like new!

With the local Bridge being down, I couldnt hold it against them that it was scheduled farther down the line either, but they were curtious and sincerely nice with me through the whole process!

Not sure how these guys get customers!! Went there for an estimate ONLY, because I am consciously shopping around for a body shop, and I guess because I wasnt guaranteeing him that I was doing the work there he couldnt be bothered to write me an estimate. I was completely honest with him and stated how I might want to put on some after market parts and I was not sure if i was going to have a body shop do it or do it myself . I explained that I was trying to compare estimates and the cost of doing it myself with upgraded parts and he interrupted with the fact that it isnt done that way. People usually just drop off the vehicles and he does the estimate, the work and the insurance company pays. Well, I never knew that. Thanks for explaining that! Customer Service I saw given to my parents and others when I was a kid is DEAD!!
