A great selection of many things. Deli section is very professional. The prepared foods are great in a pinch when you dont want to order takeout and want great tasting food. They carry many things stop & shop doesnt but on the other hand there are things that Im wanting for but stop & shop has. Overall this is a fantastic establishment, albeit very few registers are open at any given time. Theres also no self checkout option here.

It’s my local star market I’m there all the time. Great place for the community. There is just a women who works at the deli who isn’t very nice. She got two complaints within a half hour from each other. Everyone has bad days but to yell at me from across the store because I had a question for different employee was out of line. The way me and the other employee was treated was embarrassing uncomfortable n just wrong. Don’t want her to fired But she definitely needs to be retrained on how to work with the Public. Or not work with the public. Period!

This place has gone down hill with high-school kids running this place making their own hours for customer service. Veronica closing the lottery down at 7pm and only selling tickets she didnt count yet to a deli employee is sitting on the cutting board at the deli department with his rear end practically in the display case. How unhealthy is that. Not only unhealthy but Im sure this is a health violation. Clean up your act star market

This location is always clean and organized. Plenty of parking. Lots of selections. They expect Debit cards for lottery at courtesy booth.

Well stocked. The deli and cooked foods are separated, never anyone at cooked foods and deli people avoid helping you and are snooty when do. Bought cooked chicken yesterday, diarrhea today. Other than deli/cooked foods staff is pleasant and well stocked.

Good choice of items, not a lot of variety, but good enough for every day. Perfect location and lots of parking. The staff is young and attentive. The place is pretty clean. It can be a little hard to find items that are within the same group food close to each other. The good about this is that a person gets to burn some extra calories

I love the variety of breads they offer. Ive been there many times and bought different bread items. I have not been disappointed. I highly recommend this place.

Great shopping experience here. Shelves are always well stocked although they never seem to have the Dove Bites miniature ice cream snacks. I have been here at least a dozen different times and they are always out of stock. Meat department is outstanding. The Dairy, Deli and Bakery departments are also very well stocked and have a wide variety of food from which to choose. Produce is good, too. Customer service is excellent and the cashiers, especially the ones that work the evening shift are very friendly, professional and helpful. Keep up the great work!

This is a typical super market in that there is a weekly flyer that highlights the specials for the week. The App includes extra digital only sale items and uses a QR code that makes it easy to get all the specials taken care of at the register.

Wow! prices very high!! A bit challenging reaching items on Lower shelves, items are difficult to reach and labels are very hard to read. Waited for assistance a long time, they must have been short staffed.

Love the new savings program they have, the weekly ones always have somethings that I need.

OK. This place is great. They have Fantastic cashiers like Larisa and baggers! Star Market is out of the way for me BUT always worth the trip. Big but not too big, clean and everything you need. The baggers are such a huge plus.

Shaws can be extremely crowded, and the newly designed parking lot is extremely congested, and dangerous. Shaws does have better prices and sales compared to other Markets in the area, again the biggest drawback is the parking lot and the checkout line.Most of the staff is friendly enough, but theres a few. to put it lightly..company botsBottom line, their prices make the Y a joke if youre on a budget, S&S has a nice parking lot and the prices reflect that.

I just left n went to stop n shop where I did not purchase d baby milk explain to d customer service @ stop n shop told them how rude STAR MARKE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS VERY RUDE TO ME @. D END OF D DAY MY BABY GOT HIS MILK I FEEL LIKE LESON LEARN

This Star Market in Dedham has an amazing variety of items. Shelves are well stocked and COVID guidelines are strictly followed. Staff are always friendly and eager to help if needed. They have excellent prices as well as plenty of ongoing sales. Highly recommended!

Meats are not fresh

The store made chicken pot pie was one of the best pies I have eaten. Perfect crust, well balanced meat and veg and perfectly seasoned. Complements to the chef. Please keep making them!

This a very large store. They have reformatted the store layout so there is no one way direction of the aisles. Great selection and well stocked.

They have the best meat selection

This supermarket is different than the others in that it is large and spacious with wide isles. It is not ever overcrowded so it is easy make express quick trips. They always keep it neat and clean. They always have the right amount of cashiers at the registers. As far as the food and prices.. it is comparable to all the other Shaws in the surrounding area. A bonus with this Star Market is that it has the biggest and best gift card section Ive seen.

Came here 2 days ago had a sales associate named Mel she was very nice i really liked her attitudeand she was very nie to my son. there should be more workers like her very nice and professional she needs to get a raise soon.

This story has incredible customer service theyre open until 11 everyday besides Sunday excellent food selection you can have sandwiches made all day long and credible choices and of course you can get your cigarets scratch tickets lottery as well Reason why I give 4 side is because they do not sell alcohol and sometimes the younger where K is can be quite on helpful.

This is great store to shop for any item on the shelves. Some stores now have high blood pressure machines, Red Box and so much more. Happy shopping customers

Fruit is fresh, layout easy to follow. Would be 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟, except cashier asked if I had some Star Market thing (a card, Im guessing). When I said no, she continued ringing me up without informing what it was, or asking if I wanted one and if it wouldve saved me money.She missed an opportunity to promote product and its benefits for a shopper. That would make a difference in shopping there again. Because I didnt have, whatever it was, I subconsciously made a note not to shop at Star Market again.Most other grocery stores would have informed me of the benefits, associated savings/rewards ect. of a store-specifics product to a shopper.

This USED to be my go to grocery store local to me given the fact its less crowded and I can get in and out quick. But I have really been dismayed at the lack of quality control. The meats they try to sell discounted are all-ready turned gray and should be tossed or before this happens, donated to the food pantry which shares the same shopping plaza. Yesterday I bought some bulky rolls which were blue molded and a bogo Hormel party platter. I did not realize until I got home that one of the packages of pepperoni in the party platter was gray and bad as well as the moldy bulky rolls. This has been more of a common occurrence that makes me think twice about shopping here. I will be returning unused portion of damaged food goods today. The other things that disappoint me is that they used to five free pizza samples which my kids enjoyed coming to shop with me for. They still offer kids a free cookie only if you can find the bakery sales person and she has less than a desirable work attitude that my kids are rather shy to-ask for the cookies because of this attitude. Lastly the hot chicken wing bar is NEVER freshly stocked and the pieces that are left, which is few are dried out from sitting under heat lamps all day.

We shop the Star Market, Dedham, regularly. The Staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful. We were delighted on Christmas Eve day.....all of the Staff were wearing Holiday Hats! It made the shopping experience very enjoyable!

Great prices, and you dont need a rewards card to save!This week Ben & Jerrys ice cream was $2.99 a pint, that is a sweet deal (so i stocked up). The staff is super friendly, from the bakery department, to the cashiers, to Ruben with 24 years af service under his belt. I really like this grocery store, and pretty much had the store to myself on a weekday morning.
