This place rules. Records and CDs are laid out and organized well, staff is nice and knowledgeable. Was happy to give them my business. Cant wait to go again.

My 14 year old days they have a good cd collection. Bands Ive never heard of so Ill have to take his word for it.

One of my favorite Vinyl spots. I make it a point to stop by once a month and I have yet to leave with out at least one purchase.

It is a my temple to music. Owner is an interesting dude who is very knowledgeable across genres. He will accommodate any need you might have. Great selection of music (CD and Vinyl) and related media. Cannot praise highly enough.

I love the vibe of this place. The artwork on the building got my attention and I had to stop and take a look. Looking through the album reminds me of why I love music. 🎶

I was in the area and I was looking for Jay Z Black Album I called to see if they had it and they did. I went over there to pick it up and the door was closed. Turns out due to COVID-19 you cant go into the store. You have to pay over the phone and then they bring your item to the door. Not the best situation but not the worst either. I did get item so I will go again.

Easy no contact pick up of record orders.

When I go to a record store I usually feel as if I am an outcast of some sort or nuisance. After a few visits to Decatur CD it was like I was home! The prices are fair and the staff is very knowledgeable! There is a lot of old used vinyl at excellent prices in addition to new vinyl reissues that are competitively priced for new releases. There are all kinds of treasures to find for anyone !

Always my go to spot. happy days are made here. music heals. these folks love what they do and i appreciate it.

I walked in here with a friend he really want to look around. So as he looked at the the 45 I was having a blast from the past. I really like the CDs I had forgotten about some of these people. I no longer have a CD player and didnt buy anything. But it was good fun looking around.

Small CD and Vinyl shop. If they dont have something you want, you can ask them to order it for just you. No extra cost besides taxes. The service is great. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Ill return next time I want to buy a CD -- used or new.

Well laid out record store. I usually go in just to check out the new arrivals but cant help browsing and buying more than I planned. Easy to do with their reasonable pricing.

Great local business with knowledgeable music experts. They have a wide selection that covers nearly every single genre. If they dont have it they will overnite it at no charge. Best service ever!

Decatur CD is my favorite place to buy vinyl in town. The selection is current and high quality. From rock to jazz to country to electronic. If they dont have what you want they can probably order it if you ask.

I have been going here for years. I love the selection, and the diligents that they use to make sure that they have what youre looking for. If its not in the shop, it will be to you, practically the next day. This is the best music store in the perimeter.

I bought vinyl from this location off & on for a few years. SO I had some vinyl to sell & called this location to see if they are interested in buying. Called before I left home which takes me around 2 hours to travel on public transportation. I arrived there finally. The guy in the white beard was the guy who was there. I asked will they buy them, he told me that the guy who usually check them went to the post office & he will be back. But he decided to look at them himself. Took a quite a few & set them aside. While he was doing this, this took about 10 plus minutes to do so while Im still waiting for THE GUT WHO USUALLY CHECKS & APPROVES THEM. While he gives me a uncomfortable looks, he ask where did I buy them at? I replied some from here & some from other locations. Does that matter if they are in good shape? As Im still waiting for THE GUY after all of this time, I believe he makes up some kind of lie & just all of a sudden says, hes not interested all of a sudden. Hmmmm. Why have me waste my time waiting for this mystery guy to show up & he makes a executive decision? Also, after all of this he tells me hes the owner. Some kind of owner acting totally different them when I walked in at 1st. Now he has a temper which Im still trying to figure out where did his aggression come from? I spent good money at this location to be treated like a a nobody. His actions were too familiar, especially DEEP SOTH familiar. But now that I know how he feels towards certain customers, I will NEVER recommend anyone to come to this location. Might as well fly a rebel flag over this store. Thats how he or they really feels about theyre customers. These kinds of places should NEVER BE IN BUSINESS.

Lots of new vinyl and new and used CDs. Very limited used vinyl selection, which was what I was looking for. Pricing typical of a big city store. No deals or gems to be found.

The store is awesome but whenever your owner is in and I ask a question about Dave Matthews live albums it’s always a super condescending answer. When I enquire about Widespread Panic, Grateful Dead or Rolling Stones everything is gravy.Third time it’s happened today. Maybe stop carrying DMB albums if you can’t be polite in your response.

Great music shop, any artist, any album, if they dont have it, they can probably get it. I mainly go to shop for CDs, but they sell a lot of vinyl, too. Pretty extensive selection of all genres, classic and current. Listening stations give you the chance to sample something new. Plenty of used CDs and vinyl to shop. Every time I go I wish I had more time to browse.

Got some good new vinyl but used not so great. They were nice enough to stay late past closing so we could make our selections. Prices high but cant beat the selection! Free decent parking.

Love the place. Staff was very helpful when I was looking for a Dom Flemons LP. They didnt have it in stock but offered to order it and give me a call once it came in. They did so, and since I live an hour away offered to mail me the album (which they did), saving me a trip. One of the best vinyl shops in ATL!

Dont try to sell your used CDs to this guy, hell try to guilt trip you into giving them to him for free. I asked him a simple do you still buy used CDs? And he went into this long winded rant about how were just trying to keep the lights on while there were at least 15 people in the store and the world is upside down nowadays! how people buy CDs from the library and try to sell them to him. Anyway went to the record store down the street and got $75 for my literal chest of CDs.

I wanted to know about a record coming out in 6 days and the guy on the phone was super rude about it. No, we dont know yet because its not out. Does he not know businesses sometimes actually advertise music before the release date? Its less than a week, either you know or you dont. And he hung up on me too! Youd think someone working in a record store could understand their customers anticipation for new music. I never review places but this guy was just super rude and unhelpful.

Great selection of new and used CDs. I go here once a month to pick up new car CDs to sustain me through atl traffic. Staff is friendly, unobtrusive, and if a cd you want is not there they will order it for you. They also have a section showcasing local artists.

Always enjoy the visit, but not much in the way Record Store Day selections. And theyre usually my go to store....

Awesome selection of vinyl and cds plus lots of rare hard to find music on Dvd. Its a hidden gem in dowtown Decatur.

The vibe at Decatur Cd is cold and unfriendly. I used to to business here, but after the owner called me an ***hole simply because I decided not to make a purchase one day, I decided that I can easily find cds a lot cheaper from other sources like Amazon. What a shame.

Had some old CD paid real well. Highly recommend
