I HIGHLY recommend Gerber for any repairs you need! They were very quick to get me a price estimate and stuck to that price, even though they ended up needing more parts for the repair (they also did the repair for $500-200 less than other places I looked). Their time estimate was accurate as well, and they were incredibly friendly in person and over the phone. I’ll definitely be going here for any other repairs I need!

Had an great experience here. Absolutely seamless experience from dropping off my car to picking it up. This place does great service and is speedy with repairs. They communicate very well and keep you in the loop through the entire process. After my accident, I was dreading the repair part but they made it painless and stress-free. I am glad I chose their business to repair my vehicle after being rear ended. I do recommend them for repairs if your desire is for an efficient and quality job. They even offer pick up service to take you to get a rental. You can also drop the rental back off at their location after your repairs are done and they close out your rental on your behalf. Thats what I call good customer service.

Alicia was helpful and went out of her way to have the team pry open my trunk that had been jammed shut in a crash so I could remove my laptop for work. The car was deemed totaled so I cant comment on the repairs, but they suggested initially they would be done before any of the other shops and were quick to get an estimate done.

I had a wonderful experience at Gerber Collision. Dennis kept me updated throughout the process by phone/email and my vehicle was even ready 2 days earlier than expected looking brand new. The staff was courteous and professional. Savanah walked me to my vehicle and went over all my paperwork. My car was washed, waxed and sanitized on the inside. I would definitely recommend Gerber Collision!!

My experience with Gerber Collision & Glass was Amazing, from start to finish!!! First of all, I was able to receive a preliminary digital estimate by simply submitting photos of my damaged car. Secondly, after bringing my car in to the body shop, the employees were kind, friendly, & professional, and I received daily text/email updates about the actual damage, potential costs, & estimated completion date for all repairs. After they repaired my car, I returned to them concerning an unrelated matter, and they continued to provide service after their original obligation was completed!!! My experience was a True 5 STAR EXPERIENCE, and I will definitely be recommending them to EVERYBODY!!!

Gerber Collision was great. From the moment they called me to verify my appointment, to the moment I picked up my vehicle, their professionalism and communication were outstanding. The office staff gave me frequent updates, they assisted with me getting into my rental, and they turned my repairs around much faster than anticipated. They even washed and detailed (even in the inside) my car before I picked it up. The work looks great and I feel confident they did an amazing job. Thank you!Note: My review is about an insurance-based claim in which I was not at fault, so I cant speak to the pricing at Gerber as I did not pay for my services.

Absolutely terrible communication. They never called with status updates, never called back when they said they would, and half the time when calling in, nobody was there to answer. Eventually they flat out told me they wouldnt repair my vehicle. I had to talk to the manager at another Gerber location to get their mess straightened out.

Alicia is #1. Competitive pricing, outstanding service, Alicia knows a thing or two about customer service. Car was fixed, perfectly cleaned and hear me, delivered at my home since I was out of town. I could not be happier and this is not the first time I take the car to Berger in Decatur. One improvement is to make sure who answers the phone or collects payments on the phone has some minimal training on customer service, as someone hanged up on me without even saying goodbye and thank you. I dont know who in the hell answers the phone, but you are blessed to have Alicia taking care of customers.

This is a great shop to work with for repairs. My car was ready ahead of time and I was given updates frequently on the progress. When I came to pick up my car not only did it look great but it was also sparkling clean. They also took my rental back for me. Would definitely recommend!

Dennis Carbone is not only superior in his knowledge of his job, but he is honest and ethical. You can trust Dennis with your car. He is great at keeping you updated as well. After someone pulled out in front of my brand new Enclave and did $9,000 worth of damage, Dennis was the first person I turned to. He had fixed several other cars for us and have referred others to him. He is truly the best!

I have been here twice now, once for window glass for my Lexus and recently because my driver side window was stuck down... All I can say is that this is the best customer service I have received from an automotive business, ever. Not only did they see me on what was apparently a very busy day being the 1st of the month, but also it was lunch time and I could tell everyone was getting ready to leave. Despite this, I was helped immediately AND the window was fixed free of charge AND I was told how to repair it myself cheaply. While I was waiting, an elderly couple came needing repairs and, despite being too busy to help them, they referred them to their Buckhead location that could see them right away. All in all, it was superb customer service and something you just dont get normally from a dealership or an insurance company. They respect their customers and are there to do business for life. Highly recommend.

I contacted Gerber for a windshield replacement a few years back. The work they did was fine. The new windshield lasted until we sold the car with no issues. Their price fell in the middle of the three quotes I received for the work. However, their customer service did not leave a good impression. They tried to sell me WAY overpriced wipers with the new windshield. Also, when they quoted me for the service, they included their fee for replacing the windshield at my residence. At the time, I lived less than 5 minutes from their office. It would have been no trouble for me to get the work done there, but I didnt know until I received my bill that I was being charged a separate fee for the on-site service. We were recently rear-ended and I find myself back in the market for a body shop. Given my previous experience with Gerber, Im going to try my luck elsewhere.

I have been here more times then I want to admit to have minor collision repair on my car. They have good fast service and are right down the street from the enterprise car rental which makes it a plus if your insurance company uses enterprise for rentals. The only draw backs I have had with this location is that they have a very small parking area and there location is so traffic laden that get over to them to pick up your car before closing time is hard. Accept for those things I have had very positive experiences with this business.

Gerber Collision of Decatur has repeatedly exceeded expectation and is better than any other shop Ive seen in Georgia in nearly every capacity.I originally took my car to get a third quote after my insurance company undervalued my claim. Alicia Smith at the Decatur office caught things that another shop and the adjuster both missed. Some unique issues with my claim required that I go to their conyers location to actually have the car repaired. Those guys did a great job and completed it faster than expected.After the bumper was repainted, it still needed a paint protection applique that couldnt be applied until the paint had off-gassed for a couple of weeks. Because it was difficult for me to take a long lunch break to drive back to Conyers, Steve at the Conyers location was kind enough to coordinate with Anthony Gordy at the Decatur location and made special arrangements for me to have it done there. There was no additional paperwork no additional fees Etc. They were just very kind and thoughtful about it and it took about 15 minutes. I was initially hesitant about working with a business this large with multiple locations, but these guys seem to offer all of the advantages and none of the shortcomings of being a chain.These guys have been kind, respectful, ethical, and thorough at every turn, at both locations, even when they werent getting the check. You cant beat that.Next time you will be my first stop instead of my last.

Very professional, frank, and accommodating. Their estimate was nearly identical to another one done at the dealership. They share reports directly with the insurance agency to make things easier.This location is difficult to see from the road in traffic. It is also somewhat difficult to pull into and park.

I stopped by this morning Thursday, February 20 to get an estimate. They could not give me one until March 2. That was the first punch. when I questioned the delay I was told that’s just the way we do it. When I Stated that wouldn’t work for me and I would have to go someplace else it was obvious she really didn’t care. I gave it to stars because I am not taking time to observe the quality of their work. My money will go someplace else.

AWFUL! STAY AWAY! Unless you want to deal with incompetence customer service and not get your car back in any type of timely manner &/or arrive to find your car with a dead battery or just not parked out side the fence then you’ve found the right body shop!I will never ever take any of my vehicles to this body shop again, from the customer service sending me the wrong paperwork (not once but twice) and telling me I had a deductible when I didn’t, to their service manager “Dennis” leaving my door ajar & the interior lights to be on which caused the battery to be 110% dead when I went to pick it, to then going back to pick it up only to have them not leave the car out for me?! The ineptitude is staggering.

I would recommend this location. The staff is personable and professional. This is a good location to get an estimate, but please call ahead to make an appointment. I did not receive the same care and can-do attitude at a location in Roswell on Alpharetta Highway. But the location on DeKalb Industrial Way n Decatur proved to be a far better and different experience.

My son, Justin M., was involved in a car accident and was not at fault. His insurance company, GEICO, did not complete a thorough inspection and stated they would just probably total out his car. Justin had only had this car for about 3 months. Justin had been in another accident a few months before and that car was totaled out and paid by the at-fault drivers insurance company. I referred him to Gerber Collision, as they had recently replaced a shattered windshield for my other son. Brittany Pruitt (Estimator) immediately assisted him with his issue and kept him informed throughout the entire process. She had a complete inspection done on his car and jumped through many hoops to repair his car. GEICO said it couldnt be done, but she definitely proved them wrong!!! Brittany was very professional and certainly made a great first impression for us on behalf of Gerber Collision. Gerber Collision is truly blessed to have such a great employee. Forgot to leave a review on the poor job performed on my BMW. My tint was damaged from interior door panel removal on one side. On the other side there was extreme overspray as well as an unmounted door panel at completion. I did not let them touch my car again to redo/touch up any issues. I took my vehicle to ABRA, and I must say ABRAs quality is far superior to that which was received from Gerber. I can only speak to my out-of-pocket experience at this location, not Gerber as a whole.

I took my car here because it was a State Farm service select shop and was nearby. They did $4,000 of front-end work. The next day, I drove my daughter to Charlotte (4 hours on the expressway) and the next morning the front wheels made lots of noise. I found the only repair shop open on a Sunday and took it there. They showed me that the lower control arm main bolt was missing on the passenger side and very loose on the drivers side. It most likely fell off on the drive. We could have been killed. Needless to say, I would recommend that you stay away from this shop!!

I took my 2010 Nissan Murano previously to this location four years ago. I ended up with over spray on the front bumper grill. The damage was to the back bumper. They did replace the grill. I was without my vehicle two days.I was involved in an accident on the front end of my 2015 Mazda. The body work on my previous visit was well done to my way of thinking. My vehicle was in the shop for 8 days. My insurance took care of my rental cost and repaired under my collission coverage.Keep reading. I had some previous paint damage on the right front fender. It was submitted to my insurance carrier and denied as previous damage. I retrieved my vehicle and this portion had not been painted. It was paint only no body damage.I was outrageously disappointed. I was not advised that my insurance carrier would not pay for the paint repair. The issue is I was in a rental where I was not inconvienced for 8 days. Then my paper work that I received indicates ORIGINAL ESTIMATE to Customer on 3/25/2016. I never received an estimate of repairs until I pick my vehicle up.Someone dropped the ball here. I am face with addittional down time from my business to repair what could have been addressed in the 8 days I was in a rental. Yes I received numerous text updates. One would think that I should have gotten a text along the lines. Carrier has denied some previous repairs to your vehicle. Contact us for more information. The issue is not who would pay for the paint repair. I was never given an opportunity. This is not customer service I would expect when between the two vehciels my repairs to this shop was over $10,000.00
