My first big car purchase from a dealer and it wasn’t anything short of a great experience. Eric Courtney was my sales rep and he was such a caring and open eared guy. I definitely felt that I was valued more as a customer here than the previous 2 dealerships I had visited that day. They were eager to make it right for me and fit my needs and not push my boundaries which I respect highly. They seem to care more about you like a family member than just another figure on their sales log. I got a clean car, for a stellar price and definitely will be referring and returning as a regular buyer to them. These guys rockπŸ€™πŸΌ

Disappointed in the service department. I had a 10 o’clock appointment for an oil change and recall repair if the parts were in. Arrived 5 minutes early and took 15 minutes to get in the building. One vehicle ahead of me . Told the service advisor I would like β€œThe Works” oil change and tire rotation. I asked if the recall parts were in because that would determine wether I waited or needed a ride to work. He said he would check and get back to me. After 30 minutes and no answer I went back to the service advisor and he said he would check with the technician. He did and said they had them and it would take 45 minutes extra to do the recall for a total of 2 hours. I asked for a ride to work which was provided. After 3 hours and no phone call I called them and they said they were still working on it. After 4 hours I called again and was told another 45 minutes and it should be done. After 5 hours they called and said it was done and I asked for a ride back which was done. No apologies for the delay and no reason given. I paid the clerk and left the dealership. After 3 miles I heard a scrapping sound and pulled over to check it out. There was a metal shield dragging on the ground. I went back to the dealership and the response was it was missing a bolt, are the keys in it? I waited 15 minutes and a man I had never seen while in service hands me the keys and said it’s done . Again, no explanation or apologies. A very poor experience to say the least. I also don’t believe the tires were rotated and no checklist was attached to the bill and had not been washed which is included.

Had an awesome experience at Jackson Ford, sales person JiMichael was fabulous to work with, was in and out in under 2 hours. Would have given 5 stars but my only complaint would be the fact that because I was getting the new Bronco Sport and they are high demand, they decided to jack the price up $3000 from the MRSP. But with that said, they worked with me, I got a payment I was happy with, and I absolutely love my Bronco Sport! Thank you Jackson Ford and their staff!

Sold me a faulty vehicle after 2 weeks wouldn’t start, no fluids, dealer said there isn’t anything they can do even though I had a 30 day or 3000 mile warranty. Paid out of pocket to get it fixed now won’t start again, 30 days after sale with a new issue.

Welp, talked to LJ Tuesday set up an appointment to look at their 2012 impala ls, was told i could come in Saturday to check it out and test drive it. I wish I could have picked 0 as in ZERO stars for this review. I want everyone to know about a recent 7 weeks of contact that my family had with Jackson Ford and it wasnt good to say the least. My mother went in to purchase a car and planned to trade in her car. She was not happy with her original purchase sighting that it was too small. She returned to Jackson Ford with in 48 hours of the original purchase and she was given other options for buy. After spending a great deal of the day at the dealership and given new loan paperwork, she was then informed that her original trade in value was not going to be applied to the second purchase. Essentially her trade in was gone. She asked why and was told the trade in value could only be applied on the original purchase. What happened to making the customer happy and being a reputable dealer????? She contacted the General Manager to talk to him about renegotiating the deal since the trade in was not applied to the current loan, she was unable to afford the purchased car. After 7 weeks of negotiations with the General Manager, he finally agreed to do what he should have done in the first place, which was apply the trade in value to the current purchased car. In the 7 weeks, there were many phone calls and promises made by the dealership that the General Manager was working on this, but in the end, he did nothing more than he could have done the first 48 hours. Beware of this dealership! If you want to purchase a car go elsewhere or out of town. These people are not worth your time or money.

He said that I was wrong and that I had recieved a fair deal and good service.Ok wow, I thanks for setting me straight and fixing my perspective. :(

Service department has trashed are 2 year old Ford Escape we bought from them new. Sales is a 5 star. The service dept is great for normal oil change. 2020 they did a computer update got it back then engine light came on. We were told it had a leak and needed a new engine. They did that. Got it back they FORGOT to put the fron back in air conditioning. Took it in but they didnt put caps back on after filling. Then the bottom cover plate under the vehicle they forgot to put the bolts in, plus then there was a oil leak. Now its back in only 1 day after getting it to us with engine light on and the SUV shaking. DONT LET Jackson Ford Decatur service dept. work on you vehicles. This is the second new vehicle we purchased from them their service dept messed up.

Took vehicle in as it was under warranty(service engine light was on). I was informed my warranty had expired, from Tim in service. After proving to him it was not expired, I was told that regardless my warranty would not cover the costs to repaired vehicle as it supposedly needed new spark plugs, coils etc ($700). After thinking on it I told him I would just come pick my vehicle up and get a second opinion. I was informed I would be charged $100 diagnostic fee, which I thought was bs but paid it anyways. Took my vehicle to another dealership in town and it is now fixed ($250). The initial problems stated by Jackson Fords service department were incorrect. I would not trust them with a teenagers beater with a heater. Food for thought when deciding to purchase a vehicle from these dishonest people.

I have been displeased with Jackson Ford before, generally regarding their β€œservice inspections,” but I still continued to go here as it was the closest Ford dealership to me, and it was nothing major, just minor annoyances. That changed when I went in for my most recent oil change with them, and after a couple of weeks, my oil light came on. When we checked the dipstick, it wasn’t registering any oil on it. I called them immediately to get it looked at as they were the last ones who touched it while my boyfriend and I tried to get a little bit of oil in there so I could get it safely to the dealership the next morning. We put oil in, and it wouldn’t stay, leaving a puddle under the car.After a bit of investigating, we found that the oil filter hadn’t properly been screwed in by the last technician who worked on my vehicle, allowing the oil to drain out from my car and completely saturating the panel on the underside of the car. It was so saturated that it was barely hanging on underneath the vehicle and was allowing oil to drip onto the ground. Once the filter was tightened, we managed to get oil to stay.I took it to Jackson the next morning and explained the situation, as well as showing the video of the loosened filter. They did remedy it, the service manager gave me a free oil change card, and they offered to order a replacement panel to reattach under my car. They’d let me know when it came in.However, after a month of not hearing back from them, I followed up to see where the panel was as I had not heard anything. The technician who picked up the phone told me it was there and it had been there for a while. A call would have been nice as it had been promised!Regardless, I refuse to go back, and I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to anyone else. A free oil change worth $30 doesn’t make up for the fact that this could have destroyed my engine. Additionally, their customer service leaves some room for improvement as they couldn’t even bother to call regarding my part coming in despite their assurance they would. The only reason this part needed to be replaced was due to their incompetence to begin with.Highly recommend going somewhere that actually cares about their customer base and their vehicles.

All around HORRIBLE experience with this car lot here in Decatur. I was in market for a pickup truck and decided to go with Jackson Ford since I purchased my first vehicle with them years ago...To say the least the customer service I received horrible. There was unreturned calls and disrespect from the Sales Manager he humiliated my credit score and told me β€œThere’s not even a bank that’s willing to work with a credit score of 525” β€œ Even went as far and asked me β€œDo you EVEN have the 2,000?” I wasn’t expecting that from someone with a title of Sales Manger that he holds. He was rude and in a the crisis I was in I was ready to give up!!!! I went to Carmax and got approved for a 15,000 Ford Mustang with ONLY 1,800 down!! Save your time and go to car company that actually does there best to put you in a vehicle NO MATTER YOUR CREDIT SITUATION

Not good. I had a local mechanic attempt to fix AC on a 2008 F150, and it required better diagnostics to find the exact problem - so Jackson was recommended. I appreciated the honesty of the local mechanic and scheduled an appointment. A week later, I took the truck in on the scheduled date. At 9:15 a.m. (day 1) I received a courteous phone call from Jackson - letting me know it would take 2 hours of diagnostics to figure out the issue. I agreed and asked them to proceed. At the end of day 1 - I thought I would call to see how the diagnostics went. I was told the service technician had to switch to another vehicle first, but that the diagnostics would be done on day 2. OK....I get it...sometimes backlogs happen. End of Day 2....still hadnt heard anything, so I called. I was told diagnostics still hadnt been done. I asked how confident they were that the diagnostics would be done on day 5 (yes...days 3-4 were a weekend), they said Absolutely. Day 5...I heard nothing...and was in town at 2:00 p.m. - and stopped by. I asked in person where we were on the diagnostics...and was told it still hadnt been diagnosed. I asked for the keys, and said forget it. I was apologized to, but I pointed out that the purpose of scheduling an appointment a week out - was to have the vehicle looked at. The Service Manager went to go get the key and ticket, looked at the ticket, and said she didnt know for certain how much time had been spent - in order to get the bill finalized. I said How can I owe something if the vehicle hasnt even been looked at. She said, Well...he looked at it, and determined it need 2 hours of diagnostics. I said, Yes...I told you from the very beginning I needed your diagnostic equipment to determine the problem and that Ive been waiting 3 days now for that 2 hour diagnostics to take place, so basically nothing has been done. I said, if I owe you something for diagnostics, Id gladly pay...but that hasnt happened. She agreed and said I didnt owe anything. I asked where the truck was...and was told its in the back and was asked Would you like us to pull it up for you? I said, No thank you, Im going to have to make arrangements to come back and get the truck with a 2nd driver after hours. Needless to say, the service was pitiful, and the communication with the service manager (me having to call twice and then show up in person) was not any better. If youre bogged down with other cars ahead of me - and knew that at the time my appointment was scheduled - call me up and push back my appointment - instead of making me have to make alternate arrangements for work vehicles etc. for 5 days. I would highly recommend taking your Ford vehicles to some other Ford dealership in other communities...as they dont really care about service work.Dont get me wrong - I understand that car mechanics arent always an easy fix. And I also realize that oftentimes - you have to wait a few days to get results and/or wait for parts. But getting the constant run around is very frustrating - and honesty is a much better approach.

Their main head salesman had no intentions on selling a vehicle when we were up there to us. He gave us 2 choices before running any credit and that was it out of all their accessible dealerships. He was rude and constantly complained because my dad and stepmom went outside to smoke. After buying over 20 vehicles from him personally through this dealership his behavior was uncalled for. He discriminated against my father and my stepmother right in front of me for absolutely no reason. I do not nor does my father or stepmother recommend going to this dealership unless you want to be degraded and discriminated against by them. Stay away.

Been shopping & decided that I was interested in a car they had on their website. When I called & discussed price JASON was willing to negotiate & actually came down about $500 off the sticker. After calling my bank - I called back to make arrangements to test drive and they didnt even have the car on the lot - they said it was on their lot in Indianapolis, and the price we discussed went back up. Well... I have a friend (come to find out a former employee of Jackson who quit due to a few shorted commission checks) who buys cars at the auction in Indianapolis. We found this model car on the auction and it had a matching VIN to the one I was interested in - the one at their lot in Indy that they raised the price on. They had a reserve on the car - so it didnt sell on the auction. I called the next day & offered them the reserve price - only to be hung up on. Funny thing - the next morning I got a text from JASON providing his cell #, thanking me for my interest in the care & asking me what he needed to do to earn my business... HA! Talked to several people who have had the similar experiences with them. I have been in sales & management and this is NOT at all an acceptable way to do business. I would NEVER do business with them -- not when there are honest & decent dealers out there.

Rocky is the best. Despite an unexpectedly lengthy process to satisfy a we owe and a warranty repair, Rocky managed to turn what could have been a horrific experience into a good one. Problems happen, balls get dropped, people fail to communicate - these things happen in any organization. Rocky was always my point of contact, never passed me off or blamed someone else, and was always available. He kept me informed, was transparent about problems as they arose, set realistic expectations, never showed his frustration (I know it had to be there), apologized for things that he shouldnt have had to apologize for, and was generally a friendly and compassionate human being about the whole experience. Rocky has earned my business, and I hope hes appreciated as such.

I was looking for a good condition older used car for my granddaughters 1st car and decided to stop in Jackson Ford. I had never done business with them before so didnt know what to expect. I was greeted by Jay, the sales manager, and he promptly directed me to John Bush, sales associate. We test drove the car and I knew it was what I wanted. I wanted my mechanic to look the car over and they encouraged that. I went back on Monday and picked up the car. John had gone home ill so I started working with Steven Howard. He is very personable and professional. I felt very at ease with him. He is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Jay came out and talked with us also. This deal went so smoothly that I came back the next day and bought a 2013 Chevy Captiva for myself. I was treated like a queen. There have been several follow up calls. Thanks, Jay and Steven for making this the most pleasurable car buying experience ever. You are my new go to car dealership!

I brought my mother in law to your business . your team is very professional and polite.we went to another auto dealer and you are better hands down they tried to sell 2 cars to her and I checked the cars the first was in a wreck .In the front, was hard to start the second had whining power steering pump and and the fluids were very low on every thing so we left because I dont like shady dealers and they were making wise cracks about me seeing what was wrong with the cars . so I do appreciate your staff and profissionalism of them .THANK YOU FOR A GREAT Mini Van and a really good business ill send my friends and family to buy cars from you .Thomas Lilly

I took my car to Jackson Ford to have some work done. I cant say enough about the steller service that I received. Robin, the service manager, was kind and considerate. He was truly concerned about getting my car taken care of. Rocky, the service writer, was prompt and professional He made sure that I understood what was going on with my car and gave me a timeframe in which this work would be finished. They actually finished the work well ahead of schedule. Matt, the sales rep, took time out of his busy day to just say hello. I was delighted with my experience.
