We love this place!! We have found genuine cashmere sweaters, brand new! Also superior vintage shoes and housewares. Friendly and helpful staff every time we have visited.
Some items marked way to high mostly dishes pots and pans.colander you can buy these new at ollies and less expensive. Well stocked. Friendly staff. Clean and organized.
This is the best Goodwill Ive ever been to!!!my friend was not exaggerating when she said I can find cheap vases and mason jars here. Mason jars are legit $0.20 each!!! You can get as many as you want! You can go there to mine for treasure.....plan a few hours of your time and you can go home with a load of awesome stuff that wouldve cost 10 times as much in a regular store. I am also surprised that they have aisles for like everything!!! You can find so much stuff here. Now I know to come here for specific stuff before going somewhere else. :)Its also kind of crazy to see what people get rid of though..... its like everyone has had the same casserole dish or the same baking pan and no one wanted to keep them. Its a good lesson to learn what can last.
Ive shopped at this store many times and usually get great service, but not this time. With covid, I usually waiting a minute between customers to walk up to the register to be checked out just in case they need to sanitize and get situated. Well, I didnt even wait 1 minute and the cashier walks away!! She didnt even look up to see if anyone was waiting!! Long story short, I wont be back to shop here ever again!! You just lost a loyal customer at your store!
Decent store, leaning more towards trying to be a retail store. Selling new dollar tree type items trying to phase out second hand items. Also very overpriced, left with nothing.
Great place for decent used stuff I go here alot.
One or the best places to find something to put I you home to bring back memories !!!
Goodwill has in-store shopping theres no Mass needed the cashiers are nice and respectful is located off of Michigan avenue
I found some nice shorts. I asked the Associate to tell Jeff and Sean hello and she didnt even know who I was talking about. Otherwise everything was good
Its a good clean store i like the prices and ill be back again thankyou for the people that work there they were nice.
No good! This location is badly run. Prices are redicilus!
Dropped off items today. Someone took the items out of the car. Great service.
I didnt like how they put the new cashier out today she did nothing but kept being professional them ladies jumped in hur face that was wrong she just asked that lady to put mask on she one of the bet cashiers ever greets and help people I cant stop thinking about what I witness today
They are very very over pricey ..its a thrift store with prices like walmart target and meijers
Pretty good 👍but too expensive for a good will.
Personally I don’t do any shopping here except for books📚 and ✨shiny ornaments✨ but I love that this place exists because I can donate items that are still in good condition but I no longer want nor wear whenever I want instead of throwing them away. Never throw your items away if they’re still in good condition always donate to goodwill instead♥️
I went for books. We usually shop the library used book sales for my 95 yr young mother. But no library sales with Covid. Good selection.
I always find good bargains on electronics and appliances at this location
Very nice staff and very clean store
I found what I needed, plus a few extras.
Inventory of kids clothes seems more picked over and poorer quality lately... still, it beats paying full price for clothes they grow out of in a matter of months even if it takes some extra sifting through.
I love shopping at this store but cashier had a horrible attitude. I will not be going back. Dark hair and glasses.
Money grubbers. These baby outfits are sets. They go together bloomers and tops. Some of them were even hung together, the rest had gotten separated but they charged me individually for each item. So ridiculous. These items were donated to you. For free. They belong together. It is really greedy and rude to charge seperate for them.
Clean store, Cashier is always rude. But besides that Nice store
Very rude cashier with shaved hair... Really liked the clothes.
I think the price is to high. Salvation Army is much cleaner and more organized and better priced on almost new clothing and most other things
Great prices beautiful store i love this store
Pretty decent Goodwill Store. Modest selection of mostly used clothing and household wares and a small furniture area. Also books music discs DVDs and video games all used
Nice and cheap... clean place and people are nice there as well. Well shop again here :]
First of all the store was a mess. While I was browsing the clothes my husband was walking around and one of workers approached him asking if he need help. My husband said no. The worker kept on taking to him to the point that he was making my husband uncomfortable. He said that he was hitting on him!! My husband felt so uncomfortable that he made me leave. Needles to say we will never shop there.
This book is from America and was printed in 2003. I just wanna say: are you guys who wrote down this serious? Do you believe theres a zombie indeed? But I have to say, this book is really good, much fun in it. I like it so much. And this one came from one Goodwill located in Dearborn. When we checked out, the register lady asked me if I wanna donate some money so that she could round up my bucks to a round number. I am so sorry I didnt get it at that moment so I declined. Even though we are not rich, Ill donate some next time. Everyone deserves a decent life, thats it.😁
They dont bother to sort tops from bottoms in the childrens section nor do they sort them by toddler versus baby versus big kid, so in one section labeled medium you will have medium baby clothes (3-6 months), medium toddler clothes(3t-4t), and medium childrens clothing (6/7) and mixed tops and bottoms together which makes for a horrible slog through the racks of clothes they couldnt even bother to sort to take the stained ones out of.They clearly know how to sort by tops and bottoms because they do the adult clothing that way but they clearly cant be bothered to have a functional childrens section so if thats what youre coming here for Id recommend skipping it.
Prices to high, the store has a perfume order they blow thur the vents. I guess to cover up some smells. Even with a mask, I had to leave the store, because if the smell. I have asthma, talked to the manager about it, 3 weeks ago, never taken care of the problem. Wont be shopping there anymore.
Usually find great prices on good items while occasionally finding the great gem. Ive found salespeople to be friendly and generally quite helpful even if its busy.
Not much variety. Mostly clothes. Prices too high for second hand.
Really love this store. Staff friendly. Great selection. Prices very reasonable. Found lots of unusual things.
Quality clothes & merchandise.
It was good, only had like 5 minutes to shop because they close 30 minutes earlier than indicated on the door due to them not getting paid OT anymore however was able to find 3 NWT items for the 5 for 5 sale so im happy with that. Will be back next week for sure.
This goodwill is the best goodwill I have ever gone to they have great customer service an very Organized at least for me and it’s in a great location I have found so much good stuff there like lulu lemon, under armour,Nike, Jordan, Adidas, and a Gucci purse but I didn’t buy it. I go there a lot and I find things for really cheap so I suggest you should try out this goodwill!
I would go there
Great selection, the clothes are organized by size. They have a return/exchange policy which is great. At first, items might seem overpriced but if you use coupons or shop on 50% off day you can score nice designer items for a steal. Also, donate quality items because you can earn points which adds up to $$ off your purchase. Store is well organized and employees tidy often but at my last visit the dressing room smelled like urine so beware. 🤢
The manager spoke down to us as we brought in our donations. He looked at our older truck and it was as if we were beneath him. He does not realize that we donate significantly each year because we are blessed. We were simply using an older truck to deliver the items. Never judge a book by its cover James. We took our items to the Salvation Army, where they were pleased to receive them.
Staff is always very helpful.
Always a pleasant time at Goodwill. Staff is always courteous and helpful with customer service. Store is kept in tidy condition and the price updates are always shown. A great thrift store ^~^
This is perhaps my first stop when looking for something new-to-me! It is clean and the staff is pleasantly helpful. You wont always find what you had in mind, but you will just about always find something that youll want to bring home.
I constantly donate here the staff is amazing especially when dropping off big loads god bless the less fortunate who are in need always try to help and give. How Good And Pleasant It is when Gods People live together in Unity.... 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
This is not your typical thrift store. This place is only mascaradeing as a thrift store. Inside there are vinyl paths that surround carpeted departments. There is fancy signage and lighting. Many items were brand new in packages. Most of the donated housewares on the shelves were basic clear glass. Items were retail priced, not thrift priced. I have no need of a store like this.
Has a unique perspective, and plenty of furniture to choose from. Sparse in decor selections, they did have decent clothes go into the plus sizes. Parking is scarce but manageable.
Since a year or so ago I loved to shop at this store in Dearborn off Michigan Ave . I went today to see if it had any nice plus size clothes there ( used too, reason I went so often ) and again since you have changed the people who work there ( back when ) there are no nice clothes... its all garbage and while looking at your clothes the rack just came stumbling down I think you should see whos going out the back door with all the good stuff because there is absolute garbage at this store nothing nice anymore since you have the certain workers only reason I could think
At this Goodwill location, their donation process is extremely happy and quick. The associate was very helpful and did it all within 10 seconds then youre on your way with your tax receipt! :)
Im a long time resale shopper. That being said, I know that patience is required as you search for that special something at the right price. The store was clean and neat. Lots of racks separating various length sleeve blouses. My friend and I both found one item each. I probably wouldnt drive here just for resale shopping, but if Im in the area Id stop in again. If you keep in mind the thrill is in the hunt youll have fun, good luck
Nice staff and store but lower selection choices than other Detroit area Goodwills such as Canton or Commerce Township. Talked to an employer here a few months ago and she explained that they receive about half the volume of donations per week as the other two stores. If you are close by its a nice place but I wouldnt go out of my way to visit. Also, more and more of the hidden gems or rare items are first being auctioned online. I still find great sales regularly but some types of items seem to reach the floor less frequently or not at all now.
I usually find Goodwill stores to be overpriced compared to other thrift stores, and this one was, too, but I liked this location better than other Goodwills. They had a decent selection and the store was well-organized.
The two employees who worked today at 1:00 pm were great people. They were incredibly friendly when I donated lots of books
To spensive.
Came to donate today and was met with nothing but attitude from the gentleman that handled the drop off for donation. Called everything we had was trash. In which it wasnt, actually much of what we donated was fairly new and gently used. Was very disgusted by his demeanor and left without my receipt or bother going in to go shopping.
They had a great selection to choose from
I find some good deals sometimes. I kinda feel certain things they price to high so you gotta really pick and choose what you buy. I focus more on unique things, older things but over all its a pretty cool second hand store.
Some days they are good little treasures, some days there is nothing. Luck of the draw. Clean store but needs to be updated and needs added ambience. safe area.
Great store helping with clothes and household needs
Clean and very well-organized. The management team here clearly takes pride in the store. Nice selection of home goods. Staff is courteous. Marked as my go-to thrift store and location.
Slot of nice stuff
Great service
Smell bothered me but its a thrift store you know. Had a great small selection of hair brushes and combs. Super helpful staff.
Nice selection of clothing I found a lot of great name brands. Some prices are high here for a thrift store so you have to dig or find the sale color items. I love the 99 cents item of the day that is always fun. Clean store and clean bathroom.
Easy to find in Dearborn. Parking lot. A different color sale weekly. Weekend specials. Eclectic mixture of household items.
We dropped a few things off and during our time there picked up a few finds🛍
I love it, went there for a part time job to make extra money because its less then 5 minutes and very nice friendly people. I think I got the job!
This is a fairly well organized and clean Goodwill. If you have time on your hands you can find some awesome stuff here!
Not the best good will around. People were super nice though.
The store itself was very clean & well organized. The cashier was friendly. Most items were significantly overpriced. I saw a lot of dollar store items that were priced $3+. Every time I found an item that I might have paid up for, it was broken. Many of the toys were damaged/missing parts & were priced very high as well. I doubt Ill ever go back. Truly a waste of my time.
I think their prices are way to high, disappointed!!!
FALSE ADVERTISING !They send out emails with the promotions for the month, and also post the monthly promotions calendar in the store. So far, so good. But then the manager feels free to change the terms of those promotions, right up to the day of the sale, so they are never quite the same as advertised. Last week they had a Carnival of Savings sale, which included spinning a wheel to get a discount. The email didnt list a time range on that, so I replied and asked specifically if there was a limited time range. They said no. But then I go to the store, and theres no wheel. I left, angry. But then I went back (wasting more gas), to complain, and he said he decided THAT DAY, to restrict the hours of the promotion. When I complained, he brought out the wheel to spin, and I got my discount (which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1). But then he put the wheel back away, so everyone else who showed up that day expecting a discount, but was not pissed off enough to complain, also left angry !This is an extremely UNPROFESSIONAL way to do things. The right way is to decide on all the terms of your promotions before you send out emails, then stick with those terms. To do otherwise is both bad customer service and illegal. And this manager didnt seem to understand any of this, even when I explained it to him. To him, changing the terms of the promotion on the day of the promotion is just fine.
Its Goodwill, so good luck. The organization was pretty decent for resale, but the selection looks like its been sitting there for awhile.
Trashy place. Prices so high but quality is so low. They charge maybe double for stuff that are sold. Really bothers me when people who are low income shop thrift because they cant afford things and come to know they are un knowingly buying something at a higher price than it originally is. I really feel bad. Associates need to spend more time searching the item and how much it costs before putting it out. $8 for a small simple candle is too much. I don’t buy anything from this place, too expensive. And when we try to ask for a discount because we feel like something is overcharged they will not listen to you or even consider lowering the price at all. Broken & ragged merchandise everywhere.... they dont pay attention to what they put out on the floor. Managers and associates are so rude. Never going to this place again. Try VALUE WORLD.
Was hoping to find Detroit tigers apparel but they didnt have any. Very organized and nice just didnt have what I wanted.
Well organized with attractive displays. Mix of new and lightly used items. Could be larger.
The store is clean but the price are way to high! You can find better deals on ebay then coming to this goodwill. I found a few items that in store sells for $5 but this goodwill will price it at $6.
Pretty good selection. Some merchandise still in original packaging. Sales are totally unpredictable, but make a cheap buying experience cheaper.
I like this place it is always clean and organised, staff are always nice and polite. Keep up the good work 👍👍
Outstanding I was able to get 2 turtleneck shirts and 5 books for $0.99 Im so proud of myself plus it was senior day so I did really good
We came into the store today looking for a certain thing, the customer service is very nice when we walked in and gave us to the right direction we needed to look and the store very clean and smelled really nice :) keep it up / Great job
Theyre willing to help youThanks for your help
Couldnt find what I wanted but I did see some really nice things
You can find some good things but its at a higher price than other thrift stores.
Nice little store...great employees and alot nice items.
Great place to donate clothing and household items. If this review helped you please click the like button, thanks
Cashier was rude, prices were too high for second hand
Everyone was friendly and helpful. Definitely visiting again.
Not a good well store style at all. Ohios stores is much better
I found what I was looking for the prices are good and some of the things are brand new will go back recommend that you check it out I got some good buys
Tried to donate winter clothes at the Dearborn store which ive been donating since they opened. a cashmere topcoat, 2 wool sport coats, a suit, 3 leather coats and many long sleeve shirts. geezer at door just looked at them. he said they needed to be taken back and put in plastic bags (i did not know), then he walked away, second time ive got attitude from him. took them to an alternate charity, they also wanted them in bags, which they provided. were very happy to get the clothes and thanked me, with a smile, for the generous donation. found a new charity
The Dearborn Goodwill store is FANTASTIC! Friendly and helpful staff and the merchandise was teffific! I filled my cart!
Found a designer hand bag for half price....new with the original tags on it.
Great customer service, excellent prices, and finds!
I cant find anything in look for here, the stuff can be very outdated and overall, the womens stuff is always small.
Floors and smell is better than Salvation Army. You have to ask to use a changing room; they keep them locked.
Fun store to shop!! Clean and great prices!!
