I went to buy a new 2022 Kia K5 and was helped by Sammy. I couldnt imagine a better experience buying a car, as he was honest, transparent, and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to get me the best deal and even stayed hours past closing to make sure I left with a vehicle (as I hitched a ride all the way from Toledo just to get to Lafontaine). I will recommend this dealership, and especially Sammy, to anyone looking for a car moving forward. If I could give more stars I would! Also, the vehicle is amazing and Im totally in love with it.

I needed a new car so I bought one here. Minimal hassle, honestly as much as one would expect when one is doing a new car purchase (theyre a lot of money, after all). They initially didnt have the one on the website but found a suitable alternative quickly and I was driving away with my new car same day. No complaints. Painless purchasing process.

I got a very cool red is soul with a white sport strip. I knew I wanted it when I pulled in. as an experienced manager in the Auto industry I have to say this is by far the best car buying experience Ive ever been a part of. my salesperson was Luis and I would recommend anybody asking for him when purchasing your vehicle. he did everything possible to make the experience easy and convenient. I also got a better deal than I could have ever asked for and didnt have to haggle for it.

I took my car to be serviced because there was a recall on it, When I entered into the service department I was greeted but then told to leave my keys in the car and wait by my car. I was waiting for a minute until a young lady named Adi saw me & ask if I had been helped. I said I was told to wait there and someone would be with me. Without hesitation she took down all needed information, & explained about the recall. Adi is such a pleasant young lady. Thank you Adi for taking good care of me

One of the few times in my life where I walked into a dealership and got ZERO attention. Ive been in dealerships where the cost of the base models would give me palpitations and was STILL greeted, shown around various models, offered test drives, and treated with respect.Not here though!!!Went to the front desk... no one there.A sales rep walked right past me, got a beverage (Im hoping it was for a client) and walked right back to his cubicle, without a greeting or to check if I was being helped. No one came to the desk while I was waiting.Went outside to help myself. I drive an EV and was interested in a model they had in the lot. Looked it over and decided to try the door to see if it was open. It was.Went through the car myself and no one even came to show me anything or to even see what I was doing. Made my assessment and determined that if I cant even get your attention to sell me a car, whats going to happen when I need service?Bye!

I always have a great experience at this dealership when I bring my Kia in for service. A reasonable wait time, friendly staff, knowledgeable technicians. I love that they send a video recap now of everything theyve done and any recommendations/advice on future services. I feel like Im getting expert care without being up-sold on anything and I trust their judgment. Also, they offer a shuttle/car ride service to take you home and back. Ive never had to use it because my wait times were fine and I brought a book but I appreciate the option.

Experience was good, Kia was able to schedule services due to the recall timely and was able to complete the job in about 6 hours. I would’ve rated them a 5 but the fact that they don’t offer a loaner vehicle due to a manufactured recall was crazy to me! Told me that they don’t offer loaner for recalls when in fact that should be the 1 time it is offered in my opinion, overall the staff was pleasant

In JuneOf this yearI brought my car in for service, the next day I saw it was leaking oil,Ive tried continuously to bring it back to see what had happened and all of sudden.When I took it in it was fine and now after an oil change its leaking. I have leased 2 cars from this dealership, a Kia Forte and a Kia Stinger (my current vehicle). My first issue here is whoever they sold my previous lease to, they never registered it with the customer and the vehicle was found abandoned and according to the police and the state, the car is STILL under my name so guess who got the bill and the court notice. You guessed it, me. The second issue is with my current car, the Stinger, there is an issue at the rear where the car is eating my back tires and they are both flat now as I am writing this. Only 29K miles on it. I have been calling non-stop to this dealership to ask if I purchased the tire warranty upon leasing as I do not remember and Kias new car coverages conveniently do not cover this even though its a problem with their car. They are re-directing me constantly and ghosting all of my calls and will not give me any information about my tire insurance. I live 2 hours away from there now and cant just drive there whenever as well as my car being my primary mode of business travel for my self employment which is now costing me money from that too. All they have to do is say yes I have the insurance or no I dont and they refuse. VERY SHADY DEALERSHIP and I will be filing a complaint to the state as well. I cannot wait to be out of this lease so I can no longer deal with KIA.

When it comes to selling you a vehicle, everything is fine, but when it comes to getting service on that vehicle, forget coming here! I ordered parts for my vehicle and was told that I would receive a call when they arrived. I never did. I had to call to confirm they were there. Strike one... Then I had to contact the service department to set up a time to get my vehicle repaired. They had no appointments until the end of July. It is an urgent repair, so they had to connect me to a service advisor to get a sooner time. I was under the impression that repairs are by appointment only, so when the advisor told me he could get me in sooner, I assumed it would be a set appointment. He didnt take my information or anything. He just told me to show up on a particular day at a particular time and hung up. Strike two... I called back to confirm that the appointment had been made, and there was no record of it. I went up to the dealership to speak to them in person since they lack professionalism over the phone. I got talked down to and told I could show up on the day we agreed on- without an appointment. Strike Three.. Dont assume that people know your scheduling process, especially when you act like appointments are needed. I just purchased my parts and I will be going to another dealership to get my work done. Learn how to talk to people...When I contacted Summit Place Kia, they took my info, and sent me a service reminder via text. La Fontaine just lost a customer!

I had an excellent experience at this dealership. My initial contact was online, I inquired about a 2020 Kia Rio and requested to be contacted. I received a phonecall from a salesperson named Erin Law and we set up a time to meet at the showroom. Erin had the vehicle pulled out and all ready for a test drive. We bought the vehicle from Erin and found she was very responsive and accommodating. She even helped us with a few issues after the sale. All around great experience with the dealership and sales staff. Make sure you ask for the Family Deal.

Dont get warrenty on tires cant get new replacement it will be use charge as new if its change at all especially if you have the same problem with same tire was suppose be fix .if its being order you will be waiting will no follow up call back . The warrenty will make your car note high .NOT NEEDED

Great service and patience. Understood my goal with buying a vehicle. Wasnt able to be flexible to look at options outside of the few we were looking at. Also told a few exaggerations you come to expect from car sales people- that I corrected and they acted like it wasnt a big deal to stretch the truth.No space for customers to park their car :(

I went in to this dealership because I was having issues with my Kia. We had an idea of what was wrong but we needed someone that could take it apart and look at it for us. When I got the video, they literally looked at everything but what we said what it could be. Then listed $1200 worth of problems that had NOTHING to do with the real problem. They were going to charge me over $300 for new spark plugs!? I spent $150 for them to point out not actual problems. So I went to a mom and pops place and they went straight to the problem and they confirmed the problem that this dealership stated was not the real issue. They almost ripped me off, im so glad I decided to go somewhere else. I would think a technician would know a Kia car and would actually listen and acknowledge the customers original statements and concerns. Dont get me wrong, the people working here were super nice and it was very busy. Just an issue with their technicians. Two stars because the customer service were polite and patient.

I highly recommend financing elsewhere (different kia location) or going through your credit union or bank. I purchased my car July 2020 with additional insurance coverage- GAP and Tirecare, refinanced in Jan 2021 so I no longer needed these insurances as they were cheaper with my new lien holder. Once you cancel these insurances, the money goes back to the KIA then they send it to the buyer. I called multiple times to see what needed to be done to process the cancellation-- to which I received no response. After speaking with a manager at the KIA OF LANSING-- where I take my car to get serviced, the manager said it was unusual for the process return to take longer than 8 weeks. I went back to the dealership in 05/2021 and found out that I had to fill out paperwork to cancel these insurances. I filled out the paperwork in May and the salesperson told me that he would make sure they were processed. Ive been waiting on the checks to come--mind you, were talking about $1500-$1700. After getting no mail for a few months-- I ended up calling the insurance companies-- and they told me that they never received any paperwork and that the accounts were still active (so it was still charging me--aka deducting money from what Im owed). I sent in the cancel paperwork but I still need the dealership to 1.) send in paid in full letters 2.) send me the money they owe me. Its a shame that I feel like a bill collector trying to get whats owed to me.

I thought I made an appointment to have car serviced (for bumping noise ), which took two weeks to get. When I arrived at 10am I found out my appointment was to see advisor. I had to leave my auto. When I called my advisor to check status at 230pm he did not have one. Advisor called me back about 45mins. Indicating I needed left ball joint, rear brakes and oil change. So that meant my auto was there over night, parts had to be ordered. When I did get the car back home I noticed the sticker indicating next oil change had not been changed. After talking to people I was told when one ball joint is replaced I should have replaced both. I had to take auto back, this time I was able to wait 4 hours.

The customer service is great! So why only 3 ⭐s? Im told you cannot cancel your diamond fusion. Im not allowing them to reapply the diamond fusion because its unsafe. I was told it would help improve visibility during rainy season. Infact it did help, however there is an after effect. It leaves a smeared effect on my windshield. If I dont heat up my windshield in advance the visibility is minimal. I argued that Im not allowing them to reapply it, so why in the hell am I being charged for something that I wont be using in the future?! Are you willing to lose a customer just to make a few extra bucks??? I feel as if I am FORCED to pay for something that is endangering my life. No thanks. Pictures dont lie.

I had my 2012 Kia Sorrento towed to the Dearborn dealership for a key fob to be programmed, this was a month ago, Ive called several times only to receive a voice mail and no return call. I was initially told that my truck would be ready within a weeks time, however that has proven to be false, I asked if I may receive a rental l I was told no that my 2012 Kia Sorrento would be ready for pick up once key fob arrived someone in parts ordered a 2021 key fob which is not compatible with 2012. Ive grown very tired of calling and not receiving any word as to why I have not received any information as to why I am still without my truck, and as result Kia has cost be a substantial amount of money in rental car use. After purchasing over several cars from Lafonatine in a four year period I can honestly say that I would never use Lafonatine again. Customer Service is not their best suit.

I had a very pleasant experience working with LaFontaine Kia. I was searching for a Telluride and met Anthony Trupiano through an online inquiry. LaFontaine was able to secure the car I wanted for a fair price given the popularity of the car. Anthony was very transparent about the process and more importantly the pricing. With living out-of-state, I did all paperwork I could ahead of time and when I arrived everything was completed timely with no surprises along the way. While this particular dealer will not be convenient for service for me, I would have no reservations using them again for a purchase.

Saw a white forte online that looked good for my daughter that showed 2 left on their site. Drive down and cant find them on the lot. Asked the staff and feel I was lied to immediately when the salesman said yeah, let me grab the keys. I think they are up front. He comes back saying they arent in yet (one will be delivered on the 8th?), but why dont you take this more expensive (paraphrasing) model for a drive. Begrudgingly, I say yes as this is still similar to the car we want even though Im already leery. Car had 3 miles of gas in it, salesman says dont worry, has another 10 miles of gas at least. Thankfully, it didnt run out. Anyway, daughter liked the car but not the color. Go back and ask if they have it in white and was told no white ones to be delivered until mid Sept. (ignoring or forgot the fact we want the cheaper version?) What about the one to be delivered on the 8th? Apparently, its already been sold. Will never step foot on a LaFontaine car lot again.

Well it was a experience I would have never expected, but the Young Lady who ran the service department was very good from Communicating to keeping the ball rolling on what was going on with My car. It took almost a month for me to get my car back because of a nationwide situation with Hyundai who owns Kia, but My service writer kept me up to date. And the Mechanic who worked on My Car did a good job as well making me feel like I was getting into a 2021 Kia Optima instead of my 2011 Optima.

Came in late Tuesday afternoon after calling in about the certified used KIA Soul that I wanted beforehand. As soon as I came in, everyone was welcoming. I worked with Christopher Thomas to test drive the car and work out the financing. He was dedicated in assisting me and even stayed nearly an hour after closing time to help make sure I was able to drive away the same day with the car that I wanted. Excellent customer service! I will definitely make a plan on getting my next car from here!!

I took my vehicle in to get an oil change. The service Manager Tony is the best. He always makes sure everything is taken care of properly. He is always nice and personable. If you are going to get your vehicle serviced, ask for Tony, he is great. Pat, the parts manager is also great. Always kind and always wiling to help. The two most helpful people there.

I have gotten 2 cars from here, and have had negative experiences both times. My car currently is in service for a recall which in return needs a whole engine replacement after leaving me stranded on the highway with my wife. After that I have to argue to secure a loaner vehicle. And then I call in once a week to check the status of my vehicle and AARON the service rep gives me attitude every time like hes not getting paid to answer my questions. I pay for my vehicle monthly, which is sitting in a lot untouched, while Im driving this garbage loaner they gave me. I will never come back here after my lease is up, nor will I ever get a KIA again, nor will I recommend KIA to anyone else!

Very friendly staff, lots of smiles. One of the staff came out to meet me as I got out of the car. I dropped off my wifes car for a few recalls. They took car of it and I picked up the next day. Soon after, the engine light came on, but this problem (intake manifold issue) was a different matter. Erigus, the manager, (hope I spelled it right : ) knew exactly what caused that problem. He took the time to explain the procedure required to fix it and what to do to prevent it from happening again. This issue was serious. I had to have my wifes car towed. Erigus made a call and quickly had me set up for a tow. (Great Lakes Towing, ask for John or Ron, very helpful). Within a few hours, I picked up the car the same day. Done deal. If I have any issues down the road, Ill definitely be going back to their shop.

I usually have no trouble with the service dept. however this visit was different. I was redirected twice as to where in the building I needed to go to receive my service, then when going over the details of my concerns the rep wrote on my service number card the needed service. Ok, so far, I am happy. Then I go to pick up my car (after giving them 4 days to complete the oil change, check the indicator light and repair the light). I get my car and luckily I actually checked the headlight myself before leaving the dealer. The lights that were out are still not working. I told the service dept. and he even pulled the service number card where the details were written. They saw their mistake and took my car back to replace the bulbs, but I had to wait another 45 min. My second concern was that the low tire pressure indicator light keeps going on. Air pressure in all tires is fine, but this indicator light keeps going on and off. They did not address this, is it the sensor, valves on the tires, etc.? I now have to take the car to another service dept. to get this taken care of.

I had an excellent experience when purchasing my two new vehicles from Lafontaine Kia of Dearborn. I was especially pleased with the service I received from a Sales Consultant named Wesley Gavin. Wesley was by far the best salesperson I have encountered in a very long time. He made the often tedious process of buying a car very seamless and pleasant. He was very polite, personable, professional, and most importantly, KNOWLEDGEABLE!! Prior to going to Lafontaine Kia and meeting Wesley, I didn’t know much about the Kia brand, and quite frankly, was not entirely convinced enough to purchase a Kia product. It was Wesley that explained all the wonderful features that Kia offers in its vehicles, and that the company’s 10yr/ 100,000 mile warranty is unmatched in the industry. At that moment I was SOLD! I purchased a 2021 Kia Telluride S in March 2021. I absolutely LOVE IT!! In August 2021, I was in the market once again, this time for a midsize sedan. I instantly thought about the stellar service that Wesley provided and immediately called him to inquire about a new K-5 GT-Line. He looked into the vehicle, found the exact one I wanted, and within a few hours, I was the owner of yet another outstanding Kia vehicle! Needless to say, I am thrilled with my purchase! A lot of cars on that ragedy used car lot in that musty funky trailer to offer lower than what KBB recommended 😳 drove a couple dirty ragedy ill running cars for them not to want to work with nobody on their trade in. Im just trying to let you good people know that they run this used ragedy trailer car sales place like a buy here pay here. Dont let them offer you over 50% less than kbb recommendation and tell you there is no negotiations while a lady had to return her car while we were there because they sell lemons. 😉

Recently my cousin recommend the Sportage, shes on her 3rd and raves about them.So! I decided to check it out!FIRST! I cant ever begin to tell you about the level of Customer Service I was given.Ryan Liggons was so patient with me. Im pretty sure I test drove everything on the lot. Then it came down to two different models of KIA. I finally made the nail biting decision and picked the one!Ryan made the entire financing process and leasing process so easy.I had always felt like I was just another Customer anytime Ive purchased it leased.Ryan called the next day to see how I liked my New Sportage. He made sure I knew how all the technology worked and if I had questions or issues with the UVO he would help me out!I had also ordered a cargo cover.Ryan text me to let me know it was order, then he text when it was in, AND HE DELIVERED IT TO ME!! We were trying to get a car from my little brother so we gave lafonte Kia of Dearborn a visit. we chose a car had them run our credit and the time was a little late so they told us they will send the information to the financial department they will give us a call later that day or early the next day. 2 Days later still no word when we called the salesman which we dealt with his name is James Williams, he would not answer or return our calls and when we talk to reception about having to speak to someone else because theyve already ran our credit and we were just waiting on the financial approval she transferred us to assistant manager whom told us that the vehicle we were inquiring has just been sold to somebody else. It was very unprofessional they have wasted our time and the vehicle we were inquiring about was very hard to get by which probably is why they sold it to somebody else for higher price and decide to ignore us completely.I had dealt with Kia dealerships before including summit place Kia in Auburn hills and they were very professional unlike the Kia of Dearborn I suggest if you are looking for a Kia to go to Auburn hills and skip the humiliation and waste of time in the Dearborn location.

So far so good. Ill update when we finish our business. Unfortunately the salesperson misled us saying the Kia Soul will have no changes in 2022 besides the Kia badge. That is simply not true so we bought a car that doesnt have the features we wanted. Sales manager hadls done nothing so far. We bought the windshield protection. We were told it covers everything because it has sensors that need to be recalibrated. Again lied to. Service guy says it will be a cost of $270. Buyer beware. The family deal isnt so family after all. I will update if anything changes.

I went in to get service done on my old vehicle (2016 Kia Optima) and pulled out with a 2021 Kia Forte instead. My overall experience was one of the best here at LaFontaine Kia. My salesman Luis was very patient with me because I was unsure if an upgrade was what I really wanted. I felt no pressure in my decision making. It was a pleasure to work with Luis on a decision that I was so gladly to make towards the end of my mental debate. My new vehicle had better features, design & warranty. I’m so verry disappointed in how everything has gone so far. Fist i couldn’t get approved for a used car for what I originally whent there for . Waited two days for you guys to tell me I won’t be approve for used . Then they had me go over to sales for a brand new one where they said I could but low as a dollar down. I was in a pinch and needed to get out my old one so did it . Was barly explained what my warranty was was more of a Singh here so I can go home . I was informed it had a recall I took it in and had it inspected and it passed they suggested a oil change and I got it.around 230 I drove it to my work witch is 3 miles or so away parked it till I got off work at 5 and when I left and got a quart mile down the road my check engine light is on now I just keep getting passed around I’m verry disappointed,dissatisfied with kia all together Especially being a first time customer. A truly wonderful experience! This is the third car we bought from LaFontaine Automotive Group. The first two were Hyundais and now a KIA Seltos. Our sales person Rodriquez Thomas was the best! He thoroughly explained the difference between the two models we were looking at. He even told us that the lower priced model might have all the features we wanted. That is true honesty! We ended up going with the higher end version, because I wanted the 10.25 inch screen and stand alone Navigation system.He explained all the safety features as well as the infotainment system very well. I was looking for a car for 3 months and went from dealership to dealership dealing with various salesmen. I immediately felt comfortable with Wesley Gavin and confident that he was upfront and honest and not just trying to get a sale. Wes was very helpful during the entire car buying process. From explaining the differences of the various trim levels down to the pricing of the vehicles. Even after I purchased the vehicle Wes still reached out to make sure that we were happy with our purchase and even offering various suggestions on customizations. I would highly recommend purchasing or leasing a car through Wesley.

Chris Sutton was our salesman. He did an excellent job getting my wife out for a test drive in our new Telluride. He also had everything ready in advance so when I flew home from a business trip we were able to complete the trade-in and finalize the deal in less than one hour.

I highly do not recommend this place! They have an awful customer service center and they do not care about their customers. I have a friend who purchased a vehicle from here and has had it sitting there for months waiting on it to get fixed. On top of it all they aren’t offering a rental unless he pays for it and the car he purchased was a brand new 2020 vehicle. This is a horrible place to purchase a vehicle! I highly recommend you spend your money else where!

WORST COMPANY EVER! I literally got my car from them less than a year ago and have problems! Brought it t them to fix, in there care somebody HIT my car and left a huge dent! do u know thy waited a week before notifying me ! the then say i only needed a transmission flush and battery and my car would be fine! THEY LIED! my car stopped in the middle of the road and wouldnt moved I had towed back to them for them to tell me the transmission went out! and they need 2600 and apparently my warranty is out which i didnt know because i havent had my car for a year yet! So i asked if i can get a rental or something and she says okay call u right back that was yesterday at 4 and i aint heard back from her yet! I called service 15 times since 7:30am and no answer! NEVER PURCHASE FROM THEM!

My engine light came on again in my brand new Kia. I took my vehicle to LaFontaine in Dearborn. The manager provided me with the MOST RAGGEDY vehicle they could. It was extremly filthy,reeked of smoke had trash in it. Wires were hanging in the front, damage was all around the car.. I asked for another vehicle and was told this was the only available car.I explained this hooptie isnt on the lines of my upscale vehicle..they refused to compensate me. For this reason, I will NOT purchase another vehicle from LaFontaine Dearborn ever! Ill take my business & excellent credit elsewhere.

Long story short, I emailed Lafontaine Toyota used car lot to inquire about two 2020 Tacomas I was interested in test driving. Two people responded to my email, Alexis Rogers and Joel Curlee about setting up an appointment which I gladly did on the same day. Throughout the day I received various correspondences asking to verify if I were coming to which I replied, yes.I left work early to take an one-hour drive to the dealership only to be told that there was something different about the vehicle as it appeared online. Little did I know that both the vehicles had been lifted and equipped with oversized tires which shot the price up over $5k each.The incredible thing about all this is at no moment in time did these people bother to mention that the truck I wanted to see within my budget no longer existed. I took time off work and my busy schedule and not even an apology was issued.This is absolutely disgusting. Be honest and upfront with people. A simple email would have been sufficient. Your customer service is simply trash.I bought my first new car here back in 2009 with excellent service, wish I could say the same about your used car people. Absolute garbage!

This dealership is amazing! Customer service is amazing and that’s what makes people come in a buy a new vehicle. Erin from Kia helped me lease a new 2021 Kia Soul and it’s my first time leasing a vehicle and I was super nervous about it. But She was so amazing with everything, so helpful, very easy to talk to and very patient with me haha everything was a breeze going through the Lafontaine Dealership. I started off going to Toyota since it’s right next door and spoke to such a nice gentleman who helped me get in touch with someone from Kia because they didn’t really have what I was looking for so he took me to Erin and from there everything just fell into place. I am so unbelievably happy and excited about how the service went and my new lease! I went in with a huge problem because I went to Village Ford and bought a used car (that was the first mistake I did) But Erin and her management helped me with my problem since the other dealership where I bought my used car did not. I feel safe knowing I have a new vehicle and great customer service at The Lafontaine Dealerships. They received a new customer for life!

Then I purchased a Sams Club membership to check out their price on a new Kia Soul on their new car purchase program.Then I stopped at LaFontaine Kia to check out their price on a new Kia Soul. Absolutely the best dealership experience Ive ever had! The service by Sammy was spectacular! He seemed genuinely invested in helping me find the best way to get the best deal. I would definitely recommend these wonderful people to everyone I know. There was trouble on my end getting financed because of my carryover and they tirelessly spent their time going through each and every possible avenue to find a solution that would be comfortable and a payment within our budget. They did it! Im so thankful the Lord brought me to this place and would highly recommend them for your next car purchase.

Awesome discounts. If your looking to purchase or lease a vehicle, KIA has a big selection of really sweet vehicles. The best part is the rebates, no interest or very low interest rates. The warranty is 10 years or 100000 miles. If you were planning on getting a new, used or lease. Nows the time to do it.

Worst experience ever! I purchased a new vehicle with lafontaine and returned it within a few days in hopes to later purchase a different vehicle. Now they are giving me the run around about returning my deposit. Cars aren’t cheap and the money customers put down for a new vehicle is the money said customer worked hard for. It seems like it’s all a game to their sales reps but right now in 2021 while we are still in a pandemic is not the time to play with someone’s money or business. They definitely lost a customer with me. Side note - I still don’t have any idea where my deposit is or when I will be getting it back.

The new car manager is why Ill never go back out there. I went in that day to have an oil change. I called my salesman Christopher Sutton to inquire about the refund check from the retailer that I had not received yet. He said hed look into it, but that he was home, and sick. 3 days later I go in for an oil change on my 2020 KIA Sportage. Before picking up my vehicle. I asked for Christopher. My Man, and I were directed to his office. We greeted Christopher, and inquired about the refund check. He started looking at his computer, and turns it around for me, and asked me was that my signature?I answered yes, but told him that I didnt put my initials in the boxes where you basically are giving the new car manager, or salesperson the refund cash from the Retailer. He goings into the new car manager cubicle for about 10 minutes. Leaving my Man, and I just stewing. He then comes back, and escorted us to the new car manager cubicle. The manager says have a set. My man sat down, I didnt. Well, He says to me, Im going to stand too, cause youre not going to talk down to me like a dog. I mean he got loud, and very unprofessional. Then he sent Christopher Sutton out the cubicle. I asked why are you sending my salesperson out the room he is a witness. He said it was his house, I dont tell him what to do. Then loudly he asked me what was I there for? I said Christopher already told you what I was there for. He started disrespecting me whereas my Man got up. I knew it was time to go. I thought it was best to address the situation at a later day. I called General Manager Mike Law a week ago, and Im still waiting on a response from him. Ill be taking my vehicle to a different dealership. Thank you, but I still want the refund from Retailer. Oh, and I found the name, and picture of the new car manager. His name is Malcolm Perry ( rude, and very unprofessional.

My salesperson Donovan went above and beyond for my daughter and I. I went to look for a Kia Seltos for my daughter who is away at school. We had researched a few cars and settled on the new Seltos. Because of her job, coming home before the holiday was not possible so I did the shopping. Donovan was knowledgeable about the car, was very personable, and was a pleasure to talk with. I left satisfied that my daughter and I made the right choice. I mentioned at the beginning that Donovan went above and beyond. Here’s why. This young man not only gave us a good deal he drove the car 70 miles and met my daughter half way to deliver her new car! Once there after the papers were signed, he went over all of the details of the car with my daughter and made sure her settings were set for her. My daughter was ecstatic and I thank Donovan for putting a smile on her face. I would recommend him anytime!

My brother leased a car from here and I would suggest going else where. His car needed some maintenance and they have kept the car for months now without any updates and without giving him a loaner. They left him with no car as he struggled to get to work. He was forced to get rides from friends and family. They were rude and disrespectful when I tried to ask for help. Do yourself a favor and go get a Kia from a different dealership.

Leased a kia niro on Jan. 9th. They were supposed to take care of the license plate, charged me an extra $130 and now its almost March and no plate!? I have called and emailed repeatedly and am just getting the run around. This place is great for taking the money but customer service is severely lacking!!

On March 2nd, I arrive for a scheduled oil and filter change, tire rotation, and a recall notice. The timing was fine as opposed to my last visit. The staff was courteous. the turn around was good and especially like the new feature, the video of my car inspection!! Upon leaving the dealership, I noticed all of my preset radio station were gone. My Sirius satellite service was interrupted and it took 30 minutes to reconnect. Those preset channels also had to be reset. During the course of the following week, while I was on a rode trip, my Sirius service and map navigation map failed intermittently but always returned. My cruise control failed completely and never returned.On the last stop before reaching home, my gear shift locked up in the Park position. I had to remove the shift lock button and insert the vehicle key to unlock and I still have to use my key to shift from park. I have a service appointment set for 3/30/2021. B. Alim

Update: Just received a call from the manager (Todd). He was exceptional. He apologized for the representatives behavior, and Im very glad that I spoke with him. Ill give this dealership another chance, after all its the only dealership Ive ever taken my cars.I have been going to this dealership for 3 years now and I will never be back again. I had the absolute worse service that I have ever received at this dealership. If I could give 0 stars I would. I came in for an oil change. And It took them more than 40 minutes just to take my car back; then when I asked the associate (Alaina) for a time frame as to when my vehicle would be done, I got nothing but an attitude back and no time frame. I ended up late for work because it took them almost 2 hrs to do an oil change. My appointment was at 1pm on November 18th, I got there at 12:50 and did not leave until after 2:45. An oil change! And on top of being late for work; when I called to speak to the manager about my experience, I was completely ignored.

Prior to submitting an online application I had prompt and detailed email responses from a LaFontaine - Highland dealership representative, Elysia Moore. She was very efficient with quick responses to any text inquiries. I had bought my previous SUV also a KIA Sorento at the Highland dealership in 2011 via, a salesman no longer at that dealership. With my prior salesperson no longer with that dealership Elysia informed me I would need to work with the Dearborn dealership of LaFontaine.Elysia was so helpful. She put me in contact with salesman Chris Sutton at KIA LaFontaine of Dearborn. From the time I had text communications with Elysia to completing an online application, to communicating a couple of times with Chris via text; everything regarding my lease was ready within less than a two day turn around time. Chris had everything ready for a test drive of my new, 2021 AWD, KIA Sorento including my new license plate and all paperwork. So, the same day I test drove the KIA I drove it off the car lot home! I love my new Sorento, it is a combination of sporty with a taste of luxury! The leasing process was seamless and totally wonderful! Thanks Chris for making my lease experience great!
