Bought a genuine roughhouse sport from here in February of 2021. They installed a stage one kit on it, and it constantly stalls when I try to accelerate. It has 80 miles on it, and they want to charge me a diagnostics fee and wont cover the cost of fixing the problem. They wont even stand behind their product for 80 miles, even though theyre the ones that put the stage one kid on, ridiculous.

This place is cool. They sell a bunch of 4 wheelers, go-karts, mini bikes. They have a wide selection. Nate was the guy who helped me, cool guy, very helpful.

Cool place for Minnie bikes and parts for Minnie bikes would of gave it a higher rating but staff there needs to be more helpful and less bitchey

I went to Studz to replace my tape measure, I looked around the store for about ten minutes trying to locate one. I was able to find levels and everything but a tape measure on the floor. I finally asked one of the many workers who saw me walking around (none of which offered any assistance) where they were located, I was informed they were behind the double sets of glass counters hanging on the wall to the left. I asked if I was allowed to walk around to pick out the one I wanted and the lady informed me I was not allowed in that area. So I asked her “ how am I supposed to be able to pick out the one I need?”, it was impossible to even make out the manufacturer much less metric vs standard from that far away, and I have really good eye sight. So the worker glared at me with no suggestion. I told them to have a nice day and I went to Ace Hardware. I felt like they were unhelpful and rude, so I won’t be going back.

One of the best mom and pops ran hardware stores in the area the employees are mostly family and the ones who are not are still amazing the customer service goes above and beyond their hardware selection is amazing and if youre in an adrenaline junkie their power sports side is all so amazing whether youre in the mini bikes go karts mopeds they have everything including the go fast parts highly recommended whether you want to get your lawn mower blade sharpened or build a 20 horsepower mini bike

I bought a Azusa frame then bought stage 3 exhaust. Very pleased with both products and I will shop from them again!

Biggest scam I ever seen spend thousands for no one to help u when it’s broke down weeks later. Very rude over phone and in person. Your better off going somewhere else.

I went in on a Saturday to look at a frame or frame kit for an engine I have laying around. When I called I was told they have a mini bike kit in stock for 620 in a box to be assembled. They said they could also assemble it for 150 without an engine. Right next the the frame kit was the same bike with an engine on it and assembled for 700. They didnt have a kit in a box available like they said, just the one they already assembled and wanted 770 for. Very difficult to ask questions without the other guy behind the counter chiming in without being spoken to. Lots of overpriced Chinese parts if youre interested.

Very cool joint, especially if youre a minibike, scooter fanatic like me! You just dont find a lot of these items around these days, so its good to know theres a place that does! Kind of nostalgic!!They have a little bit of everything (minibikes and more) for a small hardware store. Definitely will be doing some future shopping here!

They are such bs they sold me a 2,000$ ATV that motor was messed up wouldnt start. I take it up there they tell me its going to take two weeks before they get a motor. For them to have so much business they cant get nothing done in a timely fashion I waited four days for prepping and even after there so called prepping Im without a ATV that I paid for a week ago. Its all bs. I wouldnt recommend.

Its great to have a place that has competitive prices and super knowledgeable staff. Despite them being fairly busy today, my online pickup went smooth and the guy at the parts desk gave me advice on a break-in procedure for my new eninge. Its great to know I have a place I can drive to in order to get minibike & small engine parts same day if I find I need something!

Ive been going to this hardware for everything since I was a child. If it isnt here you dont need it Top notch family grade service every single day. its set up like a brick and mortar hardware store. Theres treasure if you look. Plus nuts bolts screws washers automotive fasteners. Neat selection of ATVs plus lawn and leaf and outdoor heaters go anywhere else in the county and youll be sorry. 💁

Terrible customer service I bought a dirt bike and needed it to be serviced, the clerk and mechanic were extremely rude.I have heard that Studz Hardware’s equipment breaks quite commonly from a few sources.Made a bad purchase now I’m stuck with a bike I can’t ride. I would not recommend shopping with them.

Looking at four wheelers and go karts didnt even notice the hardware store part of the facility salesman for the motorized vehicle was very informed and explain a lot of things to me normally I would not have known actually I think he may have been one of the repairman nevertheless he worked there and he was very helpful very polite not sure about the prices but its easy enough to compare prices these days

This is got to be the worst place ever there customer service is bad dont no how to talk and u ask for help they tell u to go get the part drive all the way From Detroit and they tell me I dont have it the lady at the cashier desk in the back is bad talks bad to customers and dont no how to do her job never would I go back or tell people about them

They have no signs telling you what is returnable and what is not. Theyre happy to sell you anything you want to buy and will fight you if you need to return something. The women that work there are great, the guys (in the mini bike dept) are arrogant a-holes. The pleasent customer service I received from the women are the only reason why this is not a one-star review.

Everyone else is extremely helpful and will go above and beyond to help out.. Now the 1 guy with the long hair is rude and always has an attitude. He needs to not deal with people at all or have a V8 before he comes to work..

Studz always had what i needed, but its safe to say theyre over priced. most of the workers are chill except for the long haired boomer that looks like he peaked in high school, he hates his life and is not quiet to show it, it took every cell in my body not to knock him out. unless you need a part the same day, do yourself a favor and order from gopowersports.com for a lot cheaper.

Parts counter guy was so rude I wanted to assault the burnout wasted loser. Owner stepped in and found my parts hassle free based on a loose description of what they look like and the brand of carb in less than a minute. I wasted half a day cause that guy sucks at his job and does not care. Fire that guy he should clean toilets for a living.

Walked in the store and was greeted with an employee yelling at me that I needed a mask. She could have been nicer, but no biggie, I go out and grab it. When I come back in the store, that same employee that yelled at me now has her mask under her chin. As Im walking around the store, I see 4 more employees with their masks around their chins just walking freely through the store. Why is there a need for customers to wear masks when the employees do not have to?

These guys think they are so smart that they don’t have to listen. They sold me a 420 when I clearly told them that the old one was a #40. They swore up and down that it would fit and be stronger. Now they won’t take it back because it’s dirty. Of course it’s dirty, I tried like heck to install it. I Tries for an hour before I looked up the technical dimensions on the chains. The 420 has bigger rollers than the 40. It was never going to fit. I trusted them. They burned me.

Went here with a good friend to buy some parts. This isn’t the first time we’ve had a bad experience. The guy at the parts counter is a joke. Always has an attitude and a smart remark for no reason. The lady at the front counter gets beyond upset at any inconvenience to her. When you leave you are more than likely getting talked about as I experienced today. I wouldn’t recommend coming in here.

Advertised a mini bike sale. Got there at open to get one for my nephew. Was told had to go to warehouse to get it. Will call back later. Called back later. Was told he went golfing.Nice. . . Called again and asked about the bikes. Was told they sold out and offered me a $ 949 model. I asked about the golfing guy. Was hung up on. . . .Guess Ill go to Howell Motorsports !!Beware. They dont care !!!

My husband was a loyal customer, we drove 30 min. just to go to Studz. The employee lied to us and said the place wasnt open because we didnt have a mask on. Other customers were leaving the store as we were being told that we were not allowed to purchase our items. Lost our business forever, and lost out on a really good sale.

Always have what I need

Customer service is horrible. They sold us the wrong oil for my sons moped after they put a performance kit on it and once it started having problems then they blamed us and wants us to pay for all repairs...I was/willing to pay half. By the way then the very rude manager ended the call while I thought we were still having a conversation. Do not spend your money here.

During this whole pandemic thing, I understand it’s hard but customer service is terrible here. I called looking for a part and the gentleman on the phone was so rude that I didn’t even want to shop there, BUT nowhere else had the part unfortunately options were limited.The woman that the front door has no idea what parts she was looking for, since we can’t go in and look-it’s difficult so I believe you should have someone going through inventory who knows what they are doing and has a little bit more experience.As I’m in line, I get to the front she has no idea what part I’m talking about (I previously called), then tells me that I’m gonna have to call the order in. The call didn’t go through so I waited 20 minutes outside just to be told that “yeah, there’s 8 people ahead of you” so I had to wait... again.When I FINALLY get the part that I called about, asked about, and had to call again when I went inside to pay the employees are all screaming at each other and cussing. It was very very professional.I’m sure if it wasn’t during the pandemic and I didn’t have to deal with these people face to face it could have been more pleasant.There was a sign on the door saying “help wanted” no wonder... I was going to call to talk to a manager today but again the phones were busy.

Nothing but rude people that work here. Impossible to get through on the phone since they are not letting people show in person since this disease going around. Finally got through and asked the guy in parts a few questions and he got mad at me because I was having difficulty trying to find the model number. A true Ahole!!!!! I like to shop local but most definitely will be taking my business elsewhere.

What I like most is they always seem to have the hard to find service items for the older neighborhood homes that the corporate big box stores dont and Im in and out of the store with what I need in a short amount of time!

Weve been going to studs for 25 years and they have always been friendly cooperative and helpful. And on a special note today we walked up with our dog I was standing outside with my puppy and they were kind enough to let us and go in and sit by the door and wait until we were done shopping very polite and very kind

Always have really good service.

Im in the mini bike scene for little over a year now. I have learned quite a bit about mini bikes with the help a few other people in the scene across the state of Michigan. One of the stores that has been of great help with me obtaining the correct parts for my mini bike is Studz. I travel 90 miles just get what I need and anytime I get there I am treated with respect and staff is always willing to help me get what I need. As I shop with or with out my family Studz always makes me feel like Im family! This is a few reasons I drive 90 miles regularly to shop at Studz!

Had what I needed and very helpful

Horrible customer service. Was yelled at, talked down to, etc. They sell shoddy product with a no returns policy. I never asked for a return just simply asked that they take care of the issue ... got kicked out. It is my problem I was told several times. Due to the treatment I received me nor extended members of my family who have been going there for years will be customers here anymore.Here we are a year later. Tried to go up there because my son wanted something that they had there and is difficult to find anywhere else other than online. So I took him. They lied, tried to gouge on price. This time it wasnt even the owner. He has taught them well. I wish this place would go out of business and let someone else whos more customer oriented and actually polite to people take it over.

They should update there hours online drove over a hour to go there and find out they are close and when they say they are open when I visited there site

Its a good hardware for repair purposes. The purchase of a new lawn mower wasnt good. After you pay them the money, you are bluntly informed that there is a no return policy. Not before, After. Go to Lowes & if you get a lemon you bring it back. Although, Im satisfied with its performance
