Not so hidden gem when it comes to needing groceries and supplies for Asian food. I find everything I need here for the most part, with only some rare exceptions. Theyve even started carrying more and more Thai products I love. Their prices are fair, and products are quality. Location isnt bad, and its relatively easy to get to. I love shopping here, and Im back every month to see whats new in stock.
I really enjoyed my visit here. Park to Shop is my very 1st Asian Market & Im 49yrs old. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by Jenny. She was helpful & knows her stuff. Plenty of parking be careful of the intersection traffic, they race their destination.Ill soon try & critique the groceries. Many variety dumplings, stir fry, hot pot oh yum. Cant wait..
Found this when I was stopping for gas and decided to try. I have been looking for Sushi unagi sauce in other Asian markets and couldnt find it or some one to help me. I found it in 2 sizes. They also had rice by the pound which is something you cant find at others. Redford Township is the last place I thought you could find a good Asian market. Older building but good selection and service. Seeing Asians also shopping tells me it is a good place. Will be back.
Great prices, a wide variety of fresh and frozen meat, fish, poultry,, vegetables and fruit.Good customer service.
A wonderful local market. I have been shopping here for a few years now the staff is always pleasant and checkout is quick. There are many Asian cultural varieties to choose from so there is always something new to try. Homemade egg rolls and Japanese curry are 2 of our family staples!
The smell of the place is unbearable. This is my 2nd attempt trying this location. This staff is very rude & aren’t helpful at all but I was followed down every single aisle. I purchased oyster mushrooms that I could not use due to it being infested with gnats. The quality is poor. Will not be returning.
They pack a lot of pan-Asian food goodness in a small store. They stock almost anything you could ever need, plus a lot you didnt know you needed. Cookware, drinks and gifts, too.
Amazing place to get Asian foods, very nice people that work here. I always have a pleasant visit. And I have read about people say the place has a bad smell. I havnt had any issue with the smell it reminds me slightly of a fish market and that is normal with some of the items that are sold here. I recommend this place to anyone looking for quality Asian products.
One of the best grocery stores I’ve been to. very polite people and tons of items to look at and buy, they have a huge variety of Asian food items and the prices are not ridiculously high
Affordable fruit and vegetables. Most of them are very fresh
The best thing about this store is its selection. There is an odor but not one of fresh fish. It’s something else and after I saw all the freezer burned items, poultry falling out the packaging and old food I understood the smell. I couldn’t bring myself to buy any type of meat or seafood, it didn’t look or smell safe. The shelf items were well organized and plentiful, however, I did find them to be slightly higher in price. The female staff was very rude for some reason but there was a man there who was very helpful. As a first time customer, I will be finding a different Asian market to purchase supplies at.
We go here to grab sushi ingredientsthe place does not smell goodits not very cleanyoull see expired foodthe staff are nice and helpful
The BEST Asian grocery store in the Dearborn/Dearborn heights n surrounding area! They have a very large variety of sauces, noodles, ramen, tea, drinks, mochi, desserts, a great frozen section with dumplings, and exotic fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, and seafood all exported from East Asian countries for an affordable price. I love going in there and trying new foods, they also have a very fun snack/candy section to try thats filled with lots of sweets you cant find anywhere else. Besides food they also offer a smaller section of hair/body care products also. I cant recommend this place enough!
I like to go there to grab my sushi ingredients, staff are nice, although they sale expired food products, other than that just check your expiration dates before purchasing anything.
Store smells awful, to the point its overwhelming. Staff does not speak English and will make no attempt whatsoever to help find any items.
It was my first time in the store. I have to be honest. There was an odor or pungent scent throughout the store that you can smell through your mask. It could be that the store has a lot of fish and very strong spices. Let me tell you if you looking for anything Asian related this is your store. An amazing selection prices are a tad expensive to me. The store is very well stocked. They have food, beauty products, cookware, and bowls and plates. I loved it.
Very interesting. This was my first time in an Asian market.
Great place to find all those harder to find groceries in the realm of Asian cooking. Staff is courteous and always willing to help you find what you need. I shop here often for my Korean staples.
Very nice people and great products at good prices
Lots of selection. Finally found the sweet rice flour I needed. Really need some descriptive isle signs (English) to help find things better.
It has molds ready with fresh expiration date!
This place has an excellent selection you may not be able to find everything like you would in a more specialized grocer but you will find enough to make it worth your while to park to shop ha!
Lots of variety of Asian foods to choose from.Great service checking out.
This is my new favorite market. There always seems to be a friendly employee there to help throughout every point in the store. I was able to find all of the obscure ingredients I was searching for while also providing top quality main staples.
I get my garlic chili sauce from here!!
Great place for unique items
Nice place to find Asian food products
They got everything from the far east. good customer service.
Lots of variety. Has groceries, snacks, toiletries, cleaning supplies, cutlery, cookware and dining ware. Rice and beans come in bulk (biggest is 50 lbs bags) and even smaller 5 lbs ones. Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Filipino products all located here so I dont have to drive all over the place. Clean, organized, and helpful staff. And its right next to Randazzo so once you get your basics you can pop over there for whatever else you need for dinner (or the rest of the week).
Man, I love coming here. Very organized. I can find just about anything. This market has a variety of Asian ingredients.
Spicy noodles, frozen beef dumplings, kemchi and the candy....yummmm. Oh yea bags of rice. So far thats what I have been getting for years. I am trying the ice cream/frozen yogurt soon.
Variety of asian dumplings sauces, broths, rice cookers you name it. Great place to add variety to your meals.
They have anything you could think of in regards to Asian foodsFound egg roll wraps hereStaff is very courteous
I love it, meat is very affordable and delectable. Also not many places near me that sell fresh cut Halal meats, are open until 10. Kind, courteous and professional as well as having that family friendly atmosphere. For a smaller store they sure have everything Im looking for and for better prices, than the two grocery stores across the street.
If you need to find asian ingredients/ utensils for oriental cuisine, this market is decent. Unfortunately, the meat and vegetables are not the most fresh around, but in a pinch, this place will due.
Very nice Asian grocer, the smell was enough to knock you out though :( but selection was very ample.
Admittedly, I am no expert on Asian market fare, but I work near by and love a good ginger tea. Upon walking in the door, I felt as though I had been teleported into a foreign land in the Far East. Pretty cool, lots to look at, and they had a huuuge tea selection. I even bought some ginger candy. Pretty neat experience.
Love this grocery. Im vegan and theres so many tasty options to choose from. Things I cant find anywhere else for such good prices 💗. Only 4 stars because the cleanliness could be improved. I thought theyd continue providing food throughout Covid 19 but I understand these are scary times. Hopefully they reopen soon when its safe to do so!!
Whatever you need to make Oriental Chinese Asian food its there my granddaughter loves it
Great place to shop for Asian groceries
The supermarket is very organized. They have a wide variety of asian food and other products. The customer service is very good and friendly. But the SMELL is very bad to handle during shopping.
They have a wide selection of foods to choose from here. I really like that.
They had everything we needed there!!
Everything I need, easy to find what you want, and good prices
Nomore China Town in Chicago for me anymore. The selection was HUGE!!!!
Awesome Asian market. Its huge. Noodles galore, fresh and frozen fish, all the yummy condiments, spices, teas, frozen dumplings, dried mushrooms, assorted dishes and woks. We love it.
Theyre rude af. Treated me like I needed them
They have a very good selection... the store is clean and the staff is kind.
Has pretty much everything you will need.
They alright but the last time i was in there the cashier was rude she did not bag our groceries I guess because what is going on in the world with Asian people. I didnt do it!
Good selection of a lot of Korean and Vietnamese foods. A little sparse on Japanese.Prices are good. And wide variety of frozen foods.
Has wider branded range of items that are neatly arranged in the shelves and well stocked .
Lots of selection and good prices too.
I witness one of the associate turn away and walk off knowing that a African American women was trying to get his attention. He looked back and then proceeded to go I. The back talking to another associate and continued to ignore her. I cant believe how bad the customer service was. The lady was finally able to get help from the cashier in between the the customers in line.
I love this place :) not everyone speaks English but they try to help if you find a picture of what youre looking for :) Have a wide selection of products and produce you cant find other places :)
Great store to get hard to find Asian ingredients
All things Asian. The staff dont speak much English, but that is fine. I used my google translate app, and had a good time there. They have a ton of items I would never know I liked if I hadnt tried them.
It’s smells a little wonky and the staff are just a bit rude but other than that I always find what I need there and I’m satisfied with my purchase every time. They also have a wide variety of Japanese products.
Good place to get authentic chinese food. Could improve on the stores cleanliness! Come-on! put some money into your store already!
They had everything you need to stop and get Asian grocery items. The only thing I couldnt find were bean sprouts and when I asked for help they would just brush me off...
Local supermarket with a great variety of Asian products. They have a lot of items that I can only find here as opposed to a place like Kroger such as fresh exotic produce, premade noodles, tofu, and a myriad of sauces and spices for Asian cooking. Their prices are very affordable as well. Whenever Im in the mood to make curry I come by here to grab the curry roux blocks since I can buy in bulk and for a great price.
Nice people interesting food.
Awesome place! Its a great way to explore Asian culture.
Great Asian super market
Great prices and a large variety of Asian groceries.
Amazing selection, friendly staff!
Great products for reasonable prices
Not a bad place, they have good stuffs over there especially for Hotpot. However! You better check expiration dates for each product. They have so many expired items, and even though I let staffs know, they still keep selling them.
This is a good size Store. They have a ton of different things, from all over Asia. Prices are reasonable. If you are looking for it, they probably have it.
Whether you are a professional or home chef, this is the place to go for ingredients and groceries when you wish to create authentic Asian dishes and cuisine. Most of the store and shelves are organized by country so things are easy to find.
Outstanding Awesome experience
Awesome Asian food
They are so helpful and well versed on their products. The place is well stocked and the food is always fresh. Reasonable considering the quality.
I dont understand the couple of people complaining about the customer service.I shop here often and all of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Its a wonderful place to find inexpensive Asian products and cuts of meat that are hard to find elsewhere.
Great variety of Asian goods.
Clean, very well stocked. They have specific items (foods, spices, etc.) from Taiwan, Philippines, China, Japan. Prices are average, but affordable. Employees are courteous and helpful.
Great Asian market. Has just about anything youre looking for. Prices are inexpensive.
This is one of the best supermarkets in markets that I ever seen. I loved this place very much the food was very cheap and you can find almost anything in the world here
Awesome Asian market. Its huge. Noodles galore, fresh and frozen fish, all the yummy condiments, spices, teas, frozen dumplings, dried mushrooms, assorted dishes and woks. We love it.
Pleasant place to shop if you know what youre looking for. Not many spoke English very well.
I went to the Asian supermarket over here and it was a very pleasant experience. Most of my meals throughout the week are meatless, so on those vegetarian days I like to cook special Veg dishes. The Asian Market has everything a Vegan/Vegetarian needs. The people are nice too.
Very fun and interesting place to shop.. I love going there for my Ramen
This market keeps getting better. Before their produce section was always bad but now its generally pretty good. The smell has also dropped considerably. They expanded to include more home goods and restaurant supply type items. Whenever I need a couple of items I go to this shop. The only other really good one I have found is Asian 168 Market out in Madison Heights which is a pretty decent drive so having this shop in the neighborhood is great.
Like finding new items
Prices are reasonable, decent space to shop, seafood smell - but what is fresh seafood without the smell? Lol Good variety of items! Wish that they had better customer service ...
Great selection of Asian groceries
Always get the newsest spicy noodles, and they have a bunch of cool snacks to look at. One of my favorite places to go when I wanna try foreign candy. Workers are nice also
This is a large Asian grocery store and supermarket. They have a wide variety of frozen food, some fresh produce and meat, lots of sauces, noodles, Ramen, snacks, teas, etc. They also have quite a bit of kitchen and dining ware as well as some beauty products (mainly sheet masks) and other things. I like stopping by to try a few things. The only caveat is that the lines can sometimes get long if there is someone there buying restaurant supplies, but that only happens maybe one in four visits for me.
The products offered has greatly expanded since they first opened. I was surprised when they started offering the supplies you need to make your own bubble tea at home. Never too busy. Easy parking.
Very rude! After waiting in line With my grocery items for a VERY long time, the woman tells me I have to use cash. There is no sign any where that says I have to spend a maximum amount to use my card. I will be reporting them. I will no longer be shopping with them. The store smells horrible as well.
THESE PEOPLE ARE RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL AND SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN, IT SMELLS LIKE SOMETHING DIED IN THERE. I WAS A FIRST TIME CUSTOMER AND WAD TREATED LIKE A CRIMINAL. I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK THERE.
