9/1/2021Had a very good experience with this uhaul. I moved from the western side of the state of Wisconsin to Green Bay. I had to go without a home for 3.5 weeks so I have to store my stuff in 3 large containers or pods. It worked out very well. I had plenty of time to get my things loaded. Then they shipped the pods to the warehouse in DePere. After about a week I could come and go to the warehouse if I needed any items in the pods.What I like about this uhaul is that everyone at the DePere location are very helpful and professional. They made it very easy the day I had to pick up my stuff and get it all loaded up onto a uhaul truck. I had a crew to help load. Then once I got to the new place I had a crew to unload.Uhaul website made it easy for me to hire out help. I was able to use the truck in the morning and easily return it later in the day.Great place! Very helpful:

Great service on Saturday morning… pretty sure she was the general manager. Really brought the upbeat energy for the time of day. Equipment was almost new pretty sure I lucked out with that though.

Im over due with my payment. The lady there gave me an alternative and chance to pay my balance in payments to avoid having my stuff auctioned off. Really appreciate them for this. Reasonably priced units, would definitely recommend.

Customer service at its finest.I had a 7 am pick up time for a rental. The Uhaul location opened at 7am.Upon arrival at 7:03 am, my rental was already started, pulled around, & waiting for me with the heat on by General Manager, Kaleigh Kacyon.This woman deserves a substantial raise, not one of these .25 cent an hour raises, were talking dollar 💵 dollar 💵 bills, type of raises.Corporate did you hear me?

Horrible dont waste your time. Spent over an hour on phone with customer service no one can reach the GM!!!! No access to storage unit first day after went back out to car to get more stuff check back in access denied. Mouse droppings in unit... Oh and if you need to pay cash good luck they wont take it due to covid even though its a legal form of payment...

The staff are so friendly! If theres an issue with anything they are willing to help and go above and beyond! Ive been a U-Haul customer since 2012. I know! 🙄Kayleigh is awesome!! She is very sweet and empathetic. Shes always bubbly and smiling when I come in to make my payment. Thats encouraging 😀The free coffee and water are a plus when they are busy .

They are slow service, not very professional, because I was told I was able to make a cash deposit. And charged for mileage a week later.

Rented uhaul and thing hunk of junk not road worthy. Scarier than hell. Prayed we could make it back. Brake were screaming.

This location has everything anyone could want during a nice. One associate in particular was large and in charge and that was Gerald. This gentleman was beyond helpful and friendly at the same time. Thanks to U - Haul for a wonderful experience

The experience of picking up my trailer and the service was fantastic! I was very surprised as I had saw other reviews that were not so good. Then when I returned my trailer it did have some grease and oil in the bottom of it. I received a call stating it would be $70.00 to clean it, which is was fine with because I didnt have time to clean it that day. Then I received my receipt and I was charged $200.00 for cleaning. When I finally received a call back from the GM after going through the corporate lines, she informed me I was screwed because they did the work already. She also stated that they had to pour gasoline on the trailer and then rinse the parking lot of the gasoline which is a big liability to even be doing that. Just not how you conduct business, definitely wont be going back for another rental.

Worth the drive from Appleton. Big, clean facility. Trucks and trailers are regularly in stock. Staff is great.

Rented truck it shouldnt be on the road very unsafe and when I tuned it back in the guy who checked it in acted like I was doing something wrong by letting him know

We had our belongings stored here for over 9 months. Throughout the many times we were in and out of the building the workers were always very pleasant. When the sensor that opened the doors that would allow you to take out a couch easily broke the worker stayed past his shift to keep the door open so we could get our last two couches out which was awesome! None of our belongings were ruined or had any vermin which after that amount of time and frankly a tough winter we were extremely happy. Well worth the money!

Dont bother to do business with this location. They have zero respect for your time, or your money.I had scheduled a hitch install 3 weeks prior, to be installed on 7/19/2019. When I arrived, I was informed it would take a couple of hours, no big deal.2.5 hours later, I receive a phone call letting me know they were unable to install a hitch because they neglected to check the parts they received. Supposedly, it took 2.5 hours to discover they didnt have the right wiring kit, and the hitch wasnt even attempted to be installed.I was asked to re-schedule on Monday 7/22/2019; and set up an appointment. Lo and behold, just prior to the appointment I voice mail was left saying they had system issues, they were really busy, and needed to re-schedule (for Wednesday AM) yet again and dont even have anyone there to do the install. Mind you Im not able to continue to take off work to adhere to their incompetence.My recommendation is to take your business to another location, as they have zero accountability when it comes to customer service.

Employees say they has parts. You go the next day and there are no parts that you need.Maybe there open 24 hrs🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Absolutely horrible phone service! How is it, in 2020, U-Haul does not have a direct line to their stores?! You get sent to a call center EVERY SINGLE TIME. Then, the call center representative always says the same thing: they are extremely busy, or short staffed, but when I walk in the location 10mins later, they could not be less busy. ??? The call center representative says the location can call me back when they get time, but they have absolutely zero expectation, or company standard as to when that might be. Absolutely horrible.

Excellent team of individuals got me a truck very fast and checked it back in almost as fast as I could jump out of the cab. It actually cost less than my estimate which made me smile. The workers were friendly and knew what they were doing. I checked in online which made the process really smooth. I was probably only in the store for 5 minutes or less.

I had a wonderful experience here. Employees were kind and helpful. They really went above and beyond for me!

I have rented here twice and have found the service to be pretty quick. The trucks are nice much better than I remembered 20 years ago when they rented out 20 year old trucks! I’ll be back whenever I need a truck.

My trailer hitch I ordered online came with the incorrect type of bolts. Luke drove to the hardware store and picked up the correct ones for me to make sure the job got done. GREAT experience.

I just moved 2 hours to DePere and hadnt had a chance to get all my things in storage because they were closed and I didnt pay for after hours access. My things were left out in a trailer and I had no idea if my things would be there the next day. I called and spoke to a man named Luke and explained what happened and how scared she upset I was. He was willing to try and help me and ease my mind if possible. Out of his way and on his time! Though Luke couldnt see the trailer luckily things turned out okay. Thank you Luke for your Outstanding Customer Service!!!

Absolutely AWFUL experience. Ordered a Uhaul U box... basically a wooden box to move to Seattle. It came not only broken and NOT water tight at all (you could see light streaming from inside the box at multiple locations), but without a weather cover IN WISCONSIN. We called to remedy the situation but they could not get anyone out 5 days.. at which point we would be on the west coast. So on the day before Thanksgiving (while visiting family we had not seen in 6 months as we are a military family), we got to spend FIVE HOURS figuring out how to put a tarp on the contraption in the dark. It rained the very next day. They reimbursed us for the tarp and a small delivery fee, but that is less than acceptable for the ordeal we went through. Called corporate who will do nothing about it. Never using Uhaul again and advised the military wives in our community against it as well.

Horribly managed location. Prepare to spend 3 hours of your day waiting in line to rent and return.

The check in and check out process takes way too long. Rates are competitive and it is a big place with storage as well. Will be the place to go for moving.

I will never do business with this location again. When paying for your storage unit you can set up auto pay, and thinking you did so but you are never charged then recieve a late fee. Which noone is willing to refund even when it is their mistake. Tired of being gouged. I would warn anyone against using this facility

This uhaul store IS NOT ADA COMPLIANT!!! Insisted that come in and it is difficult for me to walk!!! I am disabled and have sent in my rep on NUMEROUS OCCASIONS and today for SOME REASON was told i would have to go in myself!!!! I will be reporting this to the ADA!!!!

You dont need to own a truck or trailer when you can reasonably rent one when you need it.

Not bad, but its huge, so be sure you get a storage unit on the 1st floor and near the door, or youll double or triple your time moving in and out.

Had them install trailer hitch and wiring harness. Trailer hitch was fine, but they could never get the wiring harness to work after multiple tries. Eventually went somewhere else to have fixed. Turns out, Uhaul had installed the black line up to the battery draped over muffler and axle. The sheathing was worn through to bare metal and was shorting out very frequently. This should have been inspected and found by Uhaul the first time I brought it back. They were nice, but unable to install correctly.

Friendly service. I rented an indoor storage unit and rented a truck and trailer and everything was easy and explained to me completely.

Great customer service every time I call or have gone in. The manager there, I think his name is Luke but I could be wrong, is great to work with. Highly recommend.
