Old but still around. One of very few krogers that haven t been tore down to rebuild a new super Kroger. Besides being small it has good staff and is very clean

I honestly just stood at CUSTOMERS service for 45 mins waiting to cash a coin star voucher in because they dont cash them in at the register literally had to call Krogers while standing in line to get help

I am only getting this Krogers A2 store because the manager they now have is very impersonal not a nice store manager the old manager who is there prior to the lady who is manager now was absolutely the best he was always walking around the store he knew everyone the shelves were faced stock for and if they did not have an item he was willing to order it Ive actually been in an altercation in the store which Ive never been in in 42 years of my entire life that was not my fault and because of the color of my skin the manager assumed Im the one that started the issue I know everyone in the store simply because its close to my home I wish they had better management and were not out of items as they always are these days I would not recommend this Kroger store I only go to it for Pure convenience and I believe this is why the store does not have nice items like a lot of the stores on other sides of towns this is just my opinion I was asked so Im giving it

Without exaggeration the worst grocery store I’ve ever been to. Probably the worst Kroger in the entire company. Management is not existent.

I was in the store about 6.45 pm tonight line was so long one cashier working Im standing looking around theres about 40 people in line the manager walks up opens a line I step to the line..she goes off on me..this went on between me and her for about 2min..she claims I jump the line..she threw me out the store told me not to return...very very rude lady..I will be spending my 100.00 dollars a week at Walmart

They need to open more check out lanes or put in self check outs .

I fault myself forgetting to bring my wallet, but since the store does not accept Apple pay I had to leave after shopping for my groceries. Please consider adding Apple pay to your terminals.

It says right on the door to the store that you cant enter without a mask. Well today I was in there shopping and went to go down an isle and there was a woman who didnt have a mask on and coughing and sneezing all over the Isle she was in. I never saw her cover her mouth when I heard her cough or sneeze. So I stayed out of the area she was in. And I was told that if an employee Said anything to her about it, they would loose their jobs. Everybody knows it wouldnt be such a big deal, but bc of covid-19 we have to stay alert and make sure we avoid being around anyone who is perhaps sick with covid

Their staff does not follow Covid Protocol as far as i know they do not take temp of anyone in that store. I will not say any names but they all should be tested and very quickly we as costumers do not know where these people have been or what they are doing on the job since my buddy who works there has told me that in the back their Unmasked doesent that mean germs are spreading . Im just stating the facts plus as costomers we have to walk past them while they are Umasked while they eat and talk spewing out gems since there breakroom is basicly the rest area too .DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS !!!!!

Why is krogers on Wayne Ave so slow

My problem with Kroger is having no ones out me being able to find what I need to find hey no annoying practices and constantly getting told that this is not my department I dont know how to help you by theres sorus people thats just the point of your service job if you dont like it get out and quit complaining

Definitely time for this community to get a remodeled Kroger and parking lot. There is not enough options at this location Im sure having to do with how incredibly small this building is compared to how many in this community it serves.

You can always find a bargain there and the staff is sooooo friendly. That makes the shopping experience all the more better. You have to give them respect in order to receive respect. They are good people, really. Love them. 👍

Even 40 years ago we called it The Deliverance Kroger--- after the movie. Its always had personality!

For a small inner-city supermarket, the store has a wide variety of merchandise. I was recently in Upper Arlington near Columbus looking for REAL Extra-virgin olive oil. They only had blends and nothing extra virgin. I was sorely disappointed that they Kroger marketplace was so poorly stocked. Lo and behold the store had plenty of olive oil and many other specialty items to make a meal that I wanted to prepare. The produce is typically in excellent condition. The cashiers and customer service people are very nice. Since I don’t live near here, I’m always asking where things are and the staff help me find anything I need.

Well on August 31st. At approximately 9:50pm I arrive to Kroger Later than intended do to unforseen occurrence and needed to get some food for my family. Well while in the store shopping as fast as possible a guard approached me and a informed me I had to take what items I had to cashier to check out and could not finish getting what I needed. This is truly an outrage. Yes I do understand that it was closing time but giving day a 20 minute leeway would of been a much better customer relations tactic than booting a frequent customer out the door. Shame shame shame Kroger. You truly need to work on customer satisfaction. Disappointed and disheartened.

The lines werent bad(finally)and everything I needed was in stock for the first time since Covid started.

This Kroger store on Wayne Ave in Dayton Ohio is a favorite of mine. Its just big enough but not huge. The people who shop there are from extremely diverse backgrounds. Most everyone is friendly and helpful. The staff at this store are friendly and welcoming to all. The selection of products and services is the same as other stores, but you dont feel like youre walking for miles to get what you need. This is truly a neighborhood store.

Having the kroger card helps save a lot of money.

Both neighborhood people and local restaurants depend on this place.. Not as big a selection but its friendly and nearby with most everything you could want in a medium size grocery store.. The same good produce available at all Krogers.. salad bar, deli, bakery and reasonably priced commodities.

Very Nice ; indeed worker ( all ) I saw or interacted with were kind and very helpful and Im in a electric wheelchair, didnt know that Krogers, Wayne Ave. Had small baskets for shopping and one of your lady clerks ask me did I need one ?, and went got me one...so helpful the lady clerk,made my shopping very pleasant... And all made my cold rainy day better... Thanks Kroger

This Kroger seems a little sketchy, but its perfectly fine. They dont have much with respect to the finer amenities, but they do stand out in two areas: beer selection and produce. Thats right, produce. None of their typical customers buy produce so you can get great deals on good stuff. Its the only place you can go where you know youll be able to find avocados ready to eat!

This is a smaller, older Kroger store, but it is probably my favorite Kroger. The staff here is always friendly. The shelves are always well-stocked. There is plenty of selection. The deli/bakery area is small, but they tend to stock items I shop. Its really a nice store to shop.

I love the shopping experience at KROGERS in Beavercreek. Very clean, lots of choices and a pleasant atmosphere all around. A suggestion would be to have more chicken choices. Such as BBQ, deep fried, baked, tenders and nuggets. A couple basic side dishes and thats it. Keep it simple! When I went to get chicken Tuesday evening, there was a line of about 4 people. I did some other shopping and returned to get my chicken... gone. UGH! Just some breasts and a couple wings. Very disappointing.

This Kroger has been at this location ever since I can remember. I shop here often. But, there isnt much of a selection, especially newer products. Its a convenient location for me personally, but that hill is a pain in the butt to walk up & down, especially when pushing carts.

Usually I stop here once every 2 weeks. Today was a big disappointment. They had no red beans, perch, and the garlic/herb chicken that smelled sooo good turned out to be terrible. The cardboard handles hid the fact that someone dumped what looked like half a jar of spice all over it. In fact it looked burnt. Chicken was dry and over cooked. I was very hungry having just gotten off work so i tried to eat it after rising it off. My sink looked like it had millions of bugs. UGH!!!. My cashier Theresa was very nice and personable. Thats why I gave it 2 stars.

I have frequented this Kroger for over 17 years. It is the best little grocery store around, hands down. Outstanding customer service. Great selection, great produce, great deli and meat departments. They have long term employees who are friendly and good at their jobs. They dont force you into a BS self-checkout when its convenient for them. What the store lacks in modern design and grocery store bells and whistles, it makes up for in the areas that, you know, actually matter. Dont believe the bad reviews. Wayne Ave Kroger is a gem.

Theyre friendly & have r everything you need ..

No self-checkouts and rarely enough registers open to keep things moving. Some of the staff are more interested in chatting with each other than in keeping the line moving. I shop here when I have to but I try to make sure thats not very often.

I go there more often then I care to admit. But its a convenient store and I know where my things are. The prices rarely ever change. And I have never had food poisoning no matter how shady it looks from the outside. The people are always either friendly or know what their doing, sometimes both. The bakery is always delicious, as good as some upscale Krogers Ive been to and the produce has never been rotten or not good.

When I pulled up there was a duck wandering around in the parking lot I tried to find customer service there was no one available I told a cashier she said the duck had been out there for four days and lived in the cemetery behind Kroger and just walks over because people feed it which was kind of wild because I thought they would maybe call someone to come pick up the duck there is not much selection in this store and what I was looking for was not available

I grew up going to this grocery store... neighborhood might be a little rough, but the young woman cashier was friendly, and polite and very engaging. I would go back just to say thank you to her....I didnt catch her name however...

Its clean and has what I need. The parking lot sucks. The store is not open 24hrs. Staff is pleasant. Prefer to visit during daytime hours. This is not a Kroger Marketplace.

I regularly shop at this Kroger. I love the store and the staff. Everyone is so super nice and helpful. It has all I need to get at a grocery store. I am in and out on my lunch break with what I came after.

This little local Kroger has made a lot of positive changes recently. Makes a big difference in your shopping experience as far as organic and locally grown food.

Multiple selection of specific items either generic or brand. Good fresh produce and meats. Theres always great discounts on many items.

Good for a less than ten items visit! Be quick or someone will try to ask for for money or sell something to you that they stole from inside... there is a reason they call this a dirty butt Kroger!

Best Kroger experience I have ever had. I have been here multiple times. Each time I come, the people go out of their way to help me. They are very pleasant and the prices are more than reasonable. I plan to make this my main Kroger.

Your hours posted are that youre open until midnight. I came in at 11:55 pm to get one item I needed to make dinner. I was immediate accosted by two of you employees waiting at the entrance. One of them, in a very insulting and rude manner used hand gestures telling me to turn around and said Bro you gotta leave, you cant pass this point, were closed. I checked my phone to verify it wasnt 12 and told him I just needed one item. He said I dont care, we close at five til. Then pointed at the door again and told me to get out there were 3 other people that walked in at the same time as I did and he was treating them the same way.I spent a lot of money here, its about the only place I do my grocery shopping. Im very disappointed in the rude, unprofessional, and somewhat intimidating manner in which your employees were addressing us customers. I will contact corporate with the hope that someone will make this right. Until then, I will no longer patronize this location, and I wont regardless if I see that employee there.

This Krogers is a smaller grocery store, but a very good place and important to the community. The employees are very friendly and helpful. This location is very clean.

I think its shameful that a local grocery store has prices that are double from places like Walmart. Krogers is doing its part to oppress the poor people who dont have the luxury of driving to lower prices. They should be ashamed and boycotted until they bring their prices down for these disabled veterans and local disabled people who dont have the luxury of automobiles to travel to lower prices. They should have their food stamps privileges removed

Very good staff keep the place clean and are extra helpful when Im searching for anything. It is a neighbourhood-size store, not their biggest. A Walgreens across the street has non-perishable items you might not find at this Krogers. Many organic food items here.

This is a really good supermarket with good people who work here. I find the produce well stocked and the fruits, vegetables are carefully maintained for freshness.

Small enough to find what you need. Cashiers are the best. Know me by name. John is the best bagger. Salt of the earth for real people.

I love this store. Its a small community-based store but they always deliver. I absolutely love the staff. Bobby,Nina,and Nikki are some of my favs. Nikki actually ordered a product for me that they usually dont carry in store.

Parking lot is on a steep slope. Physically Handicapped persons should take extreme care. Small Kroger but they have all the basics.

They always have great products thats fresh and friendly services and most of the people there are friendly there hot pockets are always on sale for $2:50 a,box if its any higher then that your paying to much the next best place to buy hot pockets is at Meijer and they have them on sale every few weeks

For such a small Kroger I was lucky they had what I wanted which was windshield washer fluid

Small store makes it easy to get in and out of compared to the superstores. Still has lots of food selections, just doesnt carry clothing and furniture and toys, etc that other big Krogers do.

Its to small the parking lot is hell to get out going left maybe a traffic light

Has the essentials, feels cramped. No self check-outs and long lines to check out are common. Parking lot is very small, difficult to navigate and exit, and the steep incline creates a struggle with a full cart.

Store was cleaned and stocked well you can tell they have put all fresh meat in the Deli I brought some mild souse meat yummy 😋 it was soooo fresh. Customer service excellent.

Very busy store with storm coming in, had everything I needed, good sales

I got a fresh salad. Found a bug in it. (Found out this bug releases small amounts of poison within its environment.) Ended up sick for almost a week, recovering. Check your salads people or just go somewhere else.

Smaller Kroger with more of a inner city customer base. The staff are very friendly and helpful! They have a smaller selection than other Kroger, but it is in a much needed location!They have all the regular items you would expect any Kroger to have, but do not have a lot of the specialty items you find at larger stores. The parking lot is a little sketchy with angled speed bumps and questionable characters, but there is a security guard on post at all times.Comparable in size, stock and customer base to Smithville or Spinning Rd Krogers.

This Kroger is great because its small, easy to run in and grab a few things and get out quickly without going to a huge store with a huge parking lot. Also, employees are very friendly.

Yes, this place is small. And yes it’s parking lot doesn’t look particularly pretty. The store itself is just fine! I went for several items yesterday and found everything I needed. I was even surprised to see some organic offerings I’d never noticed at any other locations. The layout confused me a little, but the gentleman who helped me was very friendly and led me right to where I needed to be. (The frozen fruits are in the “vegetarian” section of one of the frozen isles.The only bummer for me? No self check out. But going around 3p on a Wednesday I found a register with no line!

Their prices are not that great, but they are the closest store to me, so... One word; Convenience!

Its a decent grocery store. They dont have a huge selection like some stores but it is more convenient to shop there if you live around the area.

Its on the way home from work, easy to navigate and even though its not the largest Kroger they usually have what Im looking for.

The closing-time staff (cashiers and managers in particular) are incredibly rude here. On three separate occasions I have been rushed, scolded, or even (on one occasion) forced to abandon an entire cartload of groceries I was in line with and ready to pay for--simply because the clock struck 12AM before the cashier had scanned my first item. Never mind the time and effort I put into selecting my groceries; never mind my need for food at home. I was scolded for being on the premises after hours and shown the door by secirity.I dont know these workers names, but I was at this same Wayne Avenue Kroger tonight and can tell you that a manager on duty tonight is the same one who forced me to leave without my full cart of groceries; she is Caucasian, has very short black hair, and wears a red vest.

Normally I like Kroger. Not in this case. The neighborhood is such that you will most likely find drug users or homeless in the parking lot. Maybe it is just the people they hire to collect carts.

This location is a small older store. Very crowded by ppl and merchandise not stocked. There were only 8 checkout lanes and no self checkout. Somewhat chaotic atmosphere.

Krogers Is Always Nice.

Shopping at krogers is always pleasent. Until you get to the cash regester. Then i am always amazed at the cost of food. Bacon? You cant buy a pound of bacon today. If you find one you better have 8 dollars, and then its mostly fat. What the heck. You gotta be a rich man, or have food stamps to eat steak. Working man is hungry out here. Such is life.
