I work from home and went to go make myself an ice coffee and the worse thing possible happened... I was OUT. Was devistated but found wholly grounds on doordash. This was my first time ordering from here and im in love! the chocolate croissant is giving me life and the ice maple cold brew with whip is mouth watering! This was the perfect fix I needed to get through this work day

I didn’t know it was POSSIBLE to order a hot drink someplace and have it given to you at a temperature that won’t burn you, but Wholly Grounds just made that happen! (The pastry, on the other hand, felt straight from the oven!) Great chai latte, cool atmosphere!

Didnt care for the Nitro Coffee. But my boy loved his hot cocoa and muffin and the wifes coffee was great.

I never pass up an opportunity to visit a new place for the first time, so Im glad this time wasnt any different! Amy at Wholly Grounds showed me instantly how this place gained popularity so quickly in Dayton community! The art work made the walls seem lively. The lighting was soft and mellow to balance out the heavy blaring of the city outside. The drink offers ranged from a stand out cup of basic black all the way up to a coffee lovers ideal favorites! They even had some things that I couldn’t imagine coming up with, but can’t wait to try!)Donuts, vegan cookies (chocolate chip) and Oatmeal Cream Pies, pastries and other tasty treats.I can tell this one will be a new favorite!

What an amazing place and atmosphere. Perfect vibe for the first coffee of the day or a place to relax and unwind. They offer coffee drinks for those coffee drinkers that like international and local favorite types of coffee drinks. Also they have some tasty baked goods too. The owners are extremely friendly. You can enjoy their back patio area as well as some comfortable deep cushion sofas and chairs. Finally they offer live jazz music on certain nights and they are working on getting some spoken word poetry nights too. My new favorite coffee house in Dayton.

Chill vibe with a mix of tables and couches. The coffee is amazing. My husband and I tried 4 different drinks while here reading books. Might make this our new coffee shop spot! Note- the spicy chai has quite a kick

This is a wonderful hidden gem in the Gem City! The decor is warm and cozy. It makes me want to sit and write all day. Cant wait to come again!

Great coffee, and wonderful atmosphere. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about all the best drinks. We were very happy to have them help us, and look at how beautiful our drinks are! The place was vegan and gluten free friendly. It was perfect to hang out in a quiet space and play some card games.

Great coffee and a cozy coffee house vibe. There are some cozy nooks if you want to relax and meet up with friends. There’s also some tables and plenty of outlets for laptops if you want to study or have a business meeting. Baristas were polite and nice. It has a nice aesthetic too with the decor of Edison bulbs, an assortment of chairs (including some made out of barrels) and a general cozy vibe.

Great little coffee joint. Staff is always helpful and seems happy to see the customers. They have some adult coffees, but I havent gotten to try them yet, looking forward to it though!

Great atmosphere and great coffee.This place is my favorite place to work during the day as there is plenty of seating with plugs and the WiFi is fast.I have tried a few different coffee drinks here and my favorite is the nitro cold brew. It comes in a lovely tall glass and is smooth and rich.

Another great coffeeshop for Dayton. Both times I visited, my latte was perfect! The shop itself has plentiful natural light through the floor to ceiling windows. The shop is decorated with numerous warm light, Edison bulbs hanging from the ceiling. The music is generally instrumental and provides great ambiance for studying or having a nice conversation. Pleanty of tables for studying and even large chairs and a couch for lounging. Prices seem to be cheaper than other shops nearby and also offer pastries and fresh baked goods to accompany your beverage.My only complaint is speed. It took nearly 10 minutes to get a latte and I was with a group of 3 who each ordered a drink. Improve the speed and my rating will go up.

Me and the mother of my kids/my fiancé & our youngest go there often it’s a hangout spot for us, we get there white chocolate hot chocolate with a shot of Bourbon in it & a slushy with a shot of bourbon in it, and I forgot the actual name of it that we get to eat there but they have different kinds they’re like croissants one with egg and sausage in it another one is a pizza then I believe they have a Desert one as well

Excellent espresso ... served in the right kind of cup. Good service, good beats in the background, free wifi and plenty of outlets. Not tons of table space ... but comfy chairs available.

This cute little coffee shop has quickly become one of my favorites. While it’s rather far from my house, it is well worth the trip across town. The owner and the staff are all very friendly and because they work as a team the service is outstanding. I stumbled in for the first time because like many local businesses they had a decline in visitors due to Covid and I wanted to support them. The owner recommended I try the Havana Cappuccino and when I asked is she could make it cold she obliged. One sip and I was thoroughly impressed. I highly recommend stopping by and trying something different.

The best coffee shop experience I have had in the Dayton area! The interior has a cool vibe with art on the walls and comfy couches, and outside there is a small patio to enjoy when the weather is nice. The owner is a lovely person and the other staff is great as well! Ask them to make you a Vietnamese Iced Coffee, it isn’t on the menu but it’s one of the best I’ve had! This is a weekly stop for me. Thanks for all the great coffee and service!

What an awesome little coffee shop! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the owner always remembers my order, which I personally love. The space is comfortable with plenty of seating. Its a great spot to meet for business or friends, and its my go-to spot when Im working remotely.

This coffee shop always has new items on the menu along with solid classic options and a cool atmosphere. I like the art and the tables and the music is at a nice volume during the day so that you can work in there too. The staff is also helpful and friendly.

I have been meaning to go to Wholly Grounds for awhile. I regret not getting their sooner. Confession: I visited this coffee house in the evening and I dont drink coffee at night. HOWEVER, they had several coffee cocktails that I tried. They did not disappoint.Each coffee cocktail tasted just like the coffee counterpart with a hint of liquor. It was delicious. I had quite a few. The service was fast despite the huge crowd.The decor is amazing. The art pieces are mind blowing. The furniture is sheek. The lighting was just right. I love how huge the windows are. It faces Wayne Avenue and you can see everything.I cant wait to return.

The Cherry Sundae Latte was so good we had to go back the very next day! Lemon bars and atmosphere were also very good!

Clean and cozy. The coffee is robust. I had the Vanilla Chai Latte and it tasted hand made. Currently Almond & Soy are their two non-dairy milk options. The vegan gluten free cinnamon roll tasted neither vegan nor gluten free. Big open windows and lots of light.

This coffee shop is warm fussing to go into. The waitresses are very very nice and the owner is extremely nice oh. I love going there its so warm and it just feels loving with the smell of freshly brewed coffee oh, the scent of baked goods makes you want to really grab a hold of them I just love going in there I think its one of the best reasons in this city for drinking coffee. I want them to keep up the great work and the place is nice and clean. That I really love. I will continue to go there with my friends I tried to take someone new each time and they loved it as well. Wonderful little oasis to enjoy a cup and some quiet time, with soft music in the background, interesting and calming decor, couches and soft chairs, tables, books and free WiFi. Quite a variety of beverages, including some spiked ones. Highly recommended!

On my first visit, I was greeted with warm welcomes from staff and a wonderful smell of freshly brewed coffee. I grabbed a cozy seat by one of the large windows and enjoyed a latte made with fresh, rich espresso and silkly dairy, served in a brightly glazed mug. The building invites a relaxing atmosphere with original architecture, industrial style lighting fixtures, natural wood flooring, and a nice mixture of seating. I love the South Park community and am thrilled to have Wholly Grounds so close to home.

Delicious coffee with a nice vibe. I enjoyed the atmosphere, as it was quiet and nice to work in. The employees were very nice, and there was a very large selection of drinks.

Second visit. Love the bright, airy space. Their espresso is consistently good and strong. Perfect space for sitting, sipping, and reading.

Have been there two times now and the first visit was fine. Today the barista made the wrong drink after repeating back to me my drink. I also asked for a cup of water and was charged 50 cents. Just thought that was tacky.

Very cozy and welcoming interior. Its the perfect middle ground to Press minimalistic decor and Ghostlights San Francisco vibe. Americano I got was so tasty and smooth (black) that I got a second one. Will definitely be back!
