I enjoy avoiding Ace as much as possible by going to Hibbert. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and cordial. They also are reasonable about returning defective items. Once I had a key cut for my workplace and used it for quite awhile before it stopped working. Other employees keys were working fine on the same door. I took it back and they replaced it, no questions.

Staff was very helpful and I was able to get my dry wall needs taken care of quickly. They had no problem taking my downtown gift card for payment. I highly recommend the place.

Great and helpful staff. The only one in Davis that were willing to cut my car key I bought online. Both Ace stores turned me down.

Building supplies,hardware and good lumber right in town make old family run business the place that home owner, contractors and handymen do their shopping. Best lumber selection in Davis. Very knowledgeable staff too.

Home Depot, its not. The selection is wide but only deep in certain areas. The level of personal attention and advice is great, though - just what you want from your local hardware store.

This is what all neighborhood hardware stores use to be like. Friendly and helpful. It costs a few bucks more but they only stock quality items and have the service to back it up. Thank you to Becky and her sisters for keeping the dream alive.
