Pretty big place with lot of accessories and lots and lots of fire arms, riffles. If you are a beginner and don’t even have goggles, they got you and it is extremely economical! I went today DBS there was a dude named Thomas and he was very professional, helpful and gave a DAMN about his position there. I highly recommend this spot you won’t regret it. BTW there is. Lifetime membership sign up for only ten bucks. Enjoy!
Very nice place, with a lot of fun interactive games. Went there with my son last week and we had a great time. We will definitely go again.
All depends on who is working the kiosk at the door. Range hours state closing at 10pm I have seen people get a lane after 9pm. Today I was told they start shutting down lanes at 8:45. Maybe they were trying to shut the place down so they can start there Saturday night. Guess I can’t blame them for that lol.
What an amazing range. First time here and everyone was friendly and respectful. They have every gun you could want and the range is just the best. I cant wait to go back!
Great customer service. Robert our gun ranger officer was great and very helpful. In fact the entire staff was great. Spoke to Dave and was also very polite. Definitely worth the money and will be coming back again when I’m back in FL.
Best range ever. Very clean, well managed, staff is attentive and courteous. Didn’t think a range would have etiquette but apparently that does exist and it exists here. The virtual screens are just so much fun. Really get to see how good… or how bad… you are. Most realistic “arcade” ever… just with real guns. Tons of fun. Doubt I’ll ever go anywhere else.
Corey was excellent with me since I was purchasing a gun for the first time at nexus. He understood my needs and was extremely patient.
Find someone competent to answer the phone that knows actually about gun parts and what’s in stock. Too many times I call and the person on the phone is clueless and I end up taking my business elsewhere.
Love this place very helpful and no intimidation at all. From your experienced to beginner shooter. The best !!!!!
If you aren’t afraid of guns and much less to shoot them then this is your spot. Extremely professional, clean, affordable and safe. Nexus Shooting has everything a gun enthusiast needs, from gear, clips, ammo, guns, rifles, shotguns etc. The shooting range is both standard paper or digital. Both are great but if you want to test a little bit more your skills try the digital, kill some zombies or save the earth from a meteor strike. Nexus you’re killing type game AAA+++ spot, love this location 🔥💯
Stumbled upon this place by luck, and super glad we did. The parking lot was large. We were immediately greeted by a friendly worker. In order to shoot we had to purchase a lifetime member ship, for $10. We then picked our our pistols for the range, the rentals ranged from $7 to $25 (for higher end rifles). Also, had to use their ammo (about $23 for box of 40 and $20 for 9mm) We used the electronic/interactive range ($25 an hour/pp), and wow was it fun. There were about 8 different games to play. There was definitely enough games to keep my attention. After each game you can also email yourself the scores! Our range had 4/5 lanes and a designated instructor. He did the obligatory range safety brief, and then left us alone. There are a ton of guns for purchase, and other small gun accessories. Really, its a cool place. They give a 10% law enforcement discount!!! Oh, and shout out to the two Christophers who were super friendly, cute and helpful.
We were a group of four and we had an amazing experience from beginning to end at Nexus. The staff we interacted with was super helpful. Kyle was very knowledgeable, and a very nice gentlemen. We will be coming back for sure! The Nexus experience was so much fun! It had a lot of interactive features. Can’t wait to come back and X some zombies.
This was my first time visiting Nexus today. I would like to thank Brian and Freddy for making a fantastic first impression. They were friendly, knowledgeable, warm, and courteous. They made the experience fantastic and I will definitely be returning because of them. The digital range was a great experience, can’t wait for my next visit. Thank you again Brian and Freddy!!!! First impressions are lasting, thanks for helping us have a great time.
My husband and I were there today around 6:30pm. Every employee we encountered were very nice. EXCEPT the guy inside the range room c, we had lane 8 and 9. For $181 this was the worst experience ever. I took my husband there as a fathers day gift. As soon as we entered the room the guy had a very aggressive demeanor to him. This was our first time at a gun range, and I told him I was nervous and scared. My husband had the gun in his hand unloaded not even facing the guy and he turned around to ask him for help and instead of explaining the rules to us in a calm and professional manner he was being aggressive and told him. He will kick him out and pin him down with his gun. This is NOT how you behave towards a customer. I was already nervous and his aggression made it worst. I told my husband I wanted to leave immediately and he could stay and finish his rounds, but he decided he wanted to leave too because his day was ruined by this one employee. This situation ruined the whole experience and fathers day weekend. I choose this place because of the reviews, unfortunately we experienced a horrible situation.
Super professional and well stocked facility. Rangers and Range Safety Officers are super supportive yet keeping everyone safe. Today Freddy was super attentive, on point and very accommodating. As usual, the range was clean and well maintained. From management to sales, you can see that each individual wearing the logo carries themselves with Pride & Integrity.Class A operation from the second you step in.
Great digital gun range if you like that. The standard range is good. Service is decent. Always a line to be helped. More of a selection of guns to rent than to buy. Too corporate for me to be honest. The long lines, lack of selection and the wait to be served is why I gave it a 3 star
Brandon was awesome! He made our trip to nexus amazing. He helped with any questions we had, as well shared some pointers with us from his experience. He is very knowledgeable. Thank you brandon. We will be returning soon. This was my first time there, I became a new member tonight.
Just walked in. Was not greeted, employees more worried about talking to each.other, than welcoming customers. there gun prices are very high, Ammo prices high as well. Mostly Glock range bags and shirts. I would have a better experience if employees wanted to help customers than talking to each other.
Brandon was awesome! He was a great guide while we visited the facility. I really appreciated the guidance and assurance that he provided. I signed up tonight so this was my first experience and I can definitely say I’ll be back.
Mao was great. He showed us the ropes and was very patient. This type of activity isn’t for me but I enjoyed checking out the facility. Only con was we didn’t expect all the fees (membership) and had to purchase the noise canceling headgear and protective eyewear. Maybe we should’ve done more research beforehand but overall we had a good experience.
A1 service for the most part. The instructors were patient and answered every question we had. Ill definitely be back, next time Ill be making a puchase...not just renting.
Warren is amazing ! Very knowledgeable and always willing to help . The location is amazing beautiful and very fun, great release .
This place is awesome! Our instructor Mao did an amazing job guiding us at the range. He has great customer service. If you ever go to this location ask for him. Well be back again!
My dad brought me to this place for the first time and we had a great time using a glock 42. Unfortunately the zombies were down so we had to use paper but it was still fun for an 12 year old to shoot for the first time. It was pretty cheap to including all of the accessories we needed so our ears didn’t explode. I rate this place a 5/5 and I would love to go again sometime! -Christian
Nexus Gun Range was not like how it expected. This place was high tech and amazing. Customer service at its finest. Tommy Ferrara assisted me and made my experience at Nexus very unique and memorable. I recommend anyone who enjoys going to the range to go to Nexus. I hope you are lucky as me to have Tommy be the one helping you out.
If you notice I don’t write reviews however, this place has two employees that are exceptional and I just had to write a review on this business. First, this place is one of the nicest well-kept gun shops in south Florida. It’s April 2021, we’re still seeing a lack of guns available and you can notice the empty gun shelves. Ammo is still a problem to get however they seem to have ammo available but only if you’re using the range. The prices are not the best on ammo but hey, it’s available. Now the reason for my review, there are two range officers that go above and beyond their work and I really appreciate their help. The first guy’s name is Robert. There was a time when my gun got really jam and I carry some emergency tools but I could not unjam this gun. I think one range officer came and took a look and said “looks like your day is done” and I agreed with him and was packing up getting ready to go. Robert came and ask if he can take a look. I handed him my gun, he took the gun and after five minutes return and my gun fired 300 rounds after that with no problem! This is not the first time, every time I see Robert he is ALWAYS willing to help. The second guy I want to mention is Brandon. There are some range officers that as soon as you walk in they are like drill sergeants waiting for you to mess up so they can kick you out, not Brandon. Brandon is the most welcoming guy and when you talk to him you can tell he is genuine. He has the patients to teach and not yell and has a great sense of humor. Brandon has a way of pointing out my flaws in a subtle way helping me shoot better. I don’t live near this place but every time I go to the range I look for Robert and Brandon because they make my time there worthwhile. If I had a business I would definitely reach out to these guys and offer them a job. I don’t know if Nexus knows this but Robert and Brandon are truly an asset to the company they work for. Thank you Robert and Brandon for always looking out for my best interest.
Recently purchased a firearm and needed to get some rounds into that thing. Been to 2 different ranges about 10-15 miles from my house. Now that isn’t far by any means but I wanted to go to something closer and this place is about a 10 min drive from my house. Always heard about Nexus and been on their site and decided that I wanted to check this place out. Now I don’t know about you but I like to read reviews on places before I go to them. I start with the bad reviews and man were they bad. More good reviews than bad and the bad reviews just seemed like personal issues or miscommunications etc... the main theme on the bad reviews were customer service. I’m big on customer service and was a little worried. I went on 10/28 at around 2, was greeted by a lovey woman named Kim. She asked if I was a member and told her I was not and she directed me to the computers where you make an account. Did all that and paid the fee. I went on the paper lanes and Kim let me know that there would be a 30 min wait for paper lanes, I really wanted to shoot my gun and said it was fine. She let me know that I would get a text when a lane opened. I walked around a bit and got the text that I could head to the range counter because I was assigned a lane. I waited for 8 mins which was great! Went to the counter and was helped by another young lady who’s name I forgot to get. Went into the range and had a great time. I did not have any issue with anyone and this is why you don’t listen to reviews. Maybe THEY had a bad experience but you have to go there yourself and experience it and make your own opinion. If I had to complain about anything it would be that there was an employee in the range just watching everyone. I don’t know if that’s customary but I personally don’t like it. I don’t like anyone behind me doing god knows what. Maybe he’s just there to make sure no one messes anything up! I don’t know I just know that I personally didn’t like it. Other than that this place was great! This will be my range from here on out. Tons of parking. Place was clean. Great place. Had my own eyes and ears, gun, bullets and targets so I only paid the range fee.
Did an FFL transfer through Nexus. Very smooth, easy process. Staff was friendly and well-organized. Would highly recommend.
First time there. Couldn’t have had a better experience. Brian the range master was super helpful. Gave me a coaching lesson. First time on the electronic targets and loved it! Staff were awesome! Will be back!!
Bought my first handgun ever here and I can say I left satisfied 100%. I had gone to Miami Guns a week before going here to see some options and customer service was terrible. Came here to nexus and I was attended by Kevin, who answered all my questions and showed me the differences between one and another. I highly recommend this place. Great layout throughout the building, tons of options and good prices !
Beautiful facility, excellent gun prices, super friendly and helpful staff. Kevin (manager) helped me tremendously during my visit. This will be my go to location for good.
Excellent.....profesional staff.Alexis Flores 👍
Robert is awesome!! Provided great feedback, patient, and made sure we were safe! First timer...definitely coming back.
Today was my first time at a gun range and I was really nervous. Dana was very nice and attentive. She even gave me some pointers and helped make the experience as comfortable as possible. I will most definitely be coming back!
All I can say Is the best experience Ive in a long time Thank you to JAROD for the great costumer service and professionalism
Called ahead for availability in advance and they told me I was a good to come On over when I get there they said they couldn’t attend us. Very unprofessional
My name is Francisco and I just took my class for concealed weapons and my teacher was Alexis Flores. Wow, he was amazing! He was very professional, knowledgeable, and answered everyone’s questions in detail. He’s definitely a great asset to Nexus! I would highly recommend him to my friends!
Check your receipt carefully. I was charged for items I did not buy. The gun I rented did not have a battery for the red dot sight. Looks like a nice range but I did not have a great experience.
Im only giving them a1 star cause I CANT give them a zero stars but if your AFRICAN AMERICAN OR BLACK IN ANY WAY DONT GO TO NEXUS
Great experience here. Calm and knowledgeable staff that are actually a huge help. Plenty of options to choose from for rental. Have to be a member costs $10 to sign up. All and all cost the 2 of us $150 bucks for a fun outing.
Just finished a lesson today with Daniel. My wife and I enjoyed it very much. Not only was Daniel very professional, but he was knowable and very patient. He took time to explain everything thoroughly. He also improved my wife’s and my confidence and accuracy. I would highly recommend Daniel and the Nexus team. They are a 1st class organization.
I like this place alot but we were treated like dogs the last time I went. It was a friends bday and she never shot before. I figured I would take her to the best so I thought. They were turned down at the door and because someone in our party had dreads, he was ratial profiled and was told we cannot allow you in here. A shame I really liked this place but in my last 2 experiences either I was or someone with me has been turned away. So if you are of color just beware it may happen to you too. Thats not cool or professional. We appreciate you trying to justify your means. But no.
I am very inexperienced with smaller weapons because I learned how to shoot using an M-16 and the Range Master Robert, taught me more than just what my husband, TV shows and research have taught me. Thanks Robert!
This really is a state of the art shooting range and an impressive retail establishment. The retail prices are way too high for me, but I prefer this indoor range to any other local indoor range. The staff are usually pretty helpful and considerate. It’s well lit and comfortable, especially for sighting in. Plenty of room to do what you need to do.
I got a $100 gift certificate for Christmas and I went to buy ammo with it. Guy at the front didn’t want to sell ammo unless I bought a gun or used the firing range. With today’s ammo prices I’ll save my ammo and never shop at this place again. I feel for my friend that threw away their money which was $100.If you’re going to give someone a gift, just give them the cash or something you can return for a full refund. These gift certificates are really a rip off especially at places like this that can determine what you can spend your money on.
Highest transfer fee in south florida and awful costumer service
The digital range and air handeling system is amazing. There is no cleaner range I know of. The price is 25 for the digital handgun range. The projected range works by projector onto a rubber mat and uses sound to detect where the bullet went through, and a large steel plate to stop the bullets at the end. They have a zombie game and astroid hitting the earth game, to nornal targets, carnival, and a couple more. Just remember to not treat it like a game and to always keep saftey over competitive ways out of the range. The ammo price for example is 9.99 for a box of 100 x 22lr rounds, or 11.99 for 20 x 556 rounds. Life time membership is 10 bucks.
Nice place. Had a blast.
Great selection of fire arms and amazing customer service by David and Tom. Purchased multiple guns from this store and each time the experience was very pleasant.
Best seller personsRonin and Chris. Thank You very much!
Went in to buy my first pistol and went smoothly. Decided to do my concealed weapons class there and went to the store to reserve a spot as I was told I would need to. Was told to have a seat and someone will be with me shortly. 40 minutes later I had to leave as Im on lunch break and drove up from Miami. Granted the store wasnt busy being a Monday at 11am. Pretty disappointed as I had just purchased a 600$ firearm from them and became a lifetime range member.
Great place to shoot at even if it’s your first try and the employees are very helpful especially Frank and Bryan
Jered S. Helpedna party of 12 and he was very attentive and had alotnof information. Great work jared.
Staff very friendly and knowledgeable especially James. First time to range with girlfriend, staff helped to choose rental(ashley) .David (in range) helped us with the rentals, loading n unloading, proper holding, getting comfortable using rental. Will come back when not so crowded.
My boyfriend and I took the concealed license course with Chris and he was awesome! The course was so informative on every day life situations and how to look out for yourself and loved ones from gun safety, insurance(in case of authority involvement), and even calling 911 in a state of emergency. Anybody who is skeptical about guns, license, or the course should take it with Chris because this class is much more than a gun course to carry a gun in your car or purse.
5 stars! We went last week for my friends birthday and booked regular lanes. The customer service was amazing and the VIP room turned out to be available, so they upgraded us. Kyle was our lane monitor and stayed with us the entire time. He was AMAZING, he showed us how everything worked and had a great sense of humor at the same time as maintaining the importance of safety. Definitely recommend.
I Love this Gun Store!!! I purchased a 9mm and rifle recently, and took a private lesson from Austin a few weeks ago..... very helpful and knowledgeable.Today, I attended the Concealed Permit class taught by Chris.... informative and interesting.I would highly recommend this store for anyone wanting to purchase or become more proficient with firearms.
The cutest guys working there and they’re helpful!! I love my purchase! The only thing was the big white woman managing everyone wasn’t so sweet seems too stressed gave off negative energy to customers and staff.. thank god for the guys and their positive energy I waited along time for my purchase but I met awesome people while I waited and everyone waiting was patient and had good energy!! Will definitely recommend to anyone they have a variety of choices and competitive prices
The best gun range around. As a new shooter this place made me feel comfortable and safe. I will definitely be back and recommend them to all my friends.
They have a guy at the front door who evaluates every single mask that comes in. Then if your mask doesn’t meet their arbitrary guidelines he doesn’t let you in, he also won’t offer any mask that meets his arbitrary guidelines (like every other story with requirements stricter than the county laws do) aka he won’t help you remedy the situation, and the exact guidelines on the website were met by me. He pretends to be a doctor and understand how masks work and explains why some are better than others. This is the world we live in when anybody all of a sudden is a mask expert. Also they didn’t even have what I wanted.
They are my first stop for all my fire arm needs. Always have a knowledgeable staff and good customer service. I love the active gun range, so much fun.
Brandon was amazing. Helped us and we learned. Thank you!!
First time in this place and doesnt was pleasant. Daniel, the person that took my turn, looks like misunderstand to be proffesional with to be rough. The management should check the manners of the staff that deals with the public. The Clients are the reason of any business. If you want be treated as a Client, try with other person...or try in other place.
Great place, great staff, great instructor (s).I will like to thanks Nexus and his great instructor Alexis Flores for the oportunity, professionalism, patience and good guidence on the classes he had been given us. Having him as our instructor make us feel more secure and trust of Nexus lessons. We highly recommend to join Nexus as a member and if you need private lessons you will get a good instructor to guide you, if you are looking family lesson i will definitely recomend you to get Alexis Flores.
We had an overall great experience at the Nexus Range. Will, our range officer, was very friendly and helpful.. will be back.
As an avid shooter, its fair to say Ive visited most ranges in the SFL area. But Nexus is the only one that keeps me coming back week after week thanks to their well-kept facilities and great customer service. Their safety range officer Warren Darlow is always welcoming, helpful, and keen on maintaining a safe environment.
Absolutely loved Chris Hall’s conceal and carry class! Very informative with real world examples. Definitely would recommend to friends and family.
Horrible Experience, Worst Gun Range! As a Marine Corps Veteran and Law Enforcement Officer, I was extremely dissatisfied with the customer service at Nexus. I went to this range and was met with inexperienced employees who acted like they were SWAT or BUDS instructors. This place turned out to be a typical gun range that is filled with inexperienced “TackleBerry” employees specifically, Chris Hill (Lead Range Instructor) who thinks they are Special Forces and know everything tactical. They have range instructors who obviously want to be in Law Enforcement but can’t get hired. I have been to other ranges that are usually employed by experienced, knowledgeable individuals that treat and speak to customers with respect. Especially customers that have more real life tactical military/ law enforcement experience than them. It’s unbelievable that people actually pay money to be trained by wanna be “Tactical Toms” like Chris Hill.
My company started this new tradition where every year we host a friendly competition between all employees. Its been a different challenge each time, but renting the Nexus Lanes shooting range, provided the most fun challenge weve had so far. I think all of us would recommend it to anyone. They have an accommodating staff (especially Kenshiro and Alexis), impressive facility, and its a lot of fun!
First off, GREAT layout, atmosphere, location.Quick review up here is that it’s a great place if your into guns or just want to try out, amazing digital range and basic paper range for everyone else who wants to shoot their own guns for a bit less. They got a star for location, star for layout star for size but were missing on good customer service when things pick up slightly and need to retrain RSO’s with some type of equality to all customers regardless of how they “appear” *cough raci.... which is insane. They charge $15 [per person/PAPER RANGE] which isn’t bad considering you get nice lighting, hard working AC and decent lane room. Of course in the digital range [$25 per person pistols only] the lane is massive and perfect for a group. For current prices make sure to check their website.Ok now that I said good lemme say this, there’s not many ranges here in Davie only other ones would be Pembroke gun range which is sketchy area to some but then again, your at a gun range so your pretty safe. But for this range once a walk in which I do a bit it’s a great entrance. For the best experience I defined say to go early early. No I’m not saying this to beat the rush which they do get, in saying this to get the best experience with the employees. I, for a brief time, would go to the range right when they opened between my classes (which is a very interesting wake up procedure) and shoot my personal firearms for an hour. When I came at this time all the employees were fresh with energy and smiling and making me feel welcome. Annnnnnnd then I started coming at noon and my world was ruined here. The same exact people I loved to see were frowning and bleh. I understand it SUCKS to try and explain how to shoot to someone whose NEVER shot in 5 seconds whose about to walk in the range and hold your rental who can do a million things with it including something lethal to someone else but at the end of the day it’s a job. Out of the range you should be more open and friendly to those who are trying with you. Let the RSO [range safety officers] do their jobs inside WHICH wow speaking on the young fudd RSO’s they have.Going back to when I started they had the best RSO who would talk shop with me and be happy and say nice collection or something silly. But now they have these kids that are thinking they all that.Which let me give you a recent example and you judgeI went recently with my new shooter friend.Walked into a full range, off the bat no RSO so I said this might be nice. As usual I’m teaching my friend no no’s which of course he keeps forgetting but W.e. Then some new shooter couples come in to shoot rentals. Now me and my friend are sharing one lane which by the way, I don’t understand how you charge $15 A PERSON not even discounted for the same lane, for that ask for separate lanes but moving on I had a rifle, 2 pistols and my friend rental so no way this is all fitting in the lane. By the end of it I was moving my rifle unloaded, bolt locked back no mag pointed down holding by the optics no hand near any grip back to my bag on the wall and this RSO walks up and pats me and says I have to keep my firearm down range and in the stall. Meanwhile there was two “maybe cops” in battle belts shooting ar’s walking around with their rifles on their body so f*ck the rules I guess for them. And also the new shooter couple I mentioned were shooting the ROOF. Yes not a couple shots, they literally were shooting the roof. The RSO just said please shoot lower and walked away. With a smile. Not trying to make it that type of review but I think it didn’t help me and my friend were the only colored people in that section of range but what can I say, it’s how I felt, hence this is MY review.I wanted to give two stars but I have to admit they have an amazing building and options but the people inside.. well.
Great customer service and does not participate in the act up price gouging during the pandemic. This is a welcomed relief for someone like myself that is not panic buying. Will definitely be back (assuming the 2A is still a thing after the election).
Great range. Also, customer service is great.
Great place, friendly staff, state-of-the-art facility with Tesla charging stations to boot! Ive done both the paper targets as well as the digital experience, and I personally prefer paper (the digital experience can be a bit wonky e.g., some of the lanes have laggy/response time/inaccuracy issues). Overall a fun and professional atmosphere and highly recommended.
If I could give it Zero stars I would... second time coming to this place first to buy ammo and was turned away because i wasnt buying a weapon...and called before i came.....they had ammo in stock ... the place closes at 10pm got here at 8.55. An employee says the range is closed ... but u can cleary hear guns been fired at range ... wouldnt come back if it was free .... dont waste ur time coming here ...
1) After waiting in line for quite some time we noticed how the young man at the front door totally disregarded everyone that was in line by letting a man in that just got to the pace. The man told the door guy that he wanted to buy just one thing and the door guy let him in ahead of everyone else. 2) They were letting 2 and sometimes 3 people in at a time but, when it was our turn a guy came to the door and very rudely said they can only let in 1 person at a time. We were very amazed since a couple just ahead of us got in together. We explained that fact,he said that they were buying a gun then using it at the range and thats why they were both let in at the same time. He then rudely asked if all 3 of us were buying a gun, we told him 1 of us wanted a stock and 2 of us wanted to buy guns. He again said that still only 1 of us can come in. My son that wanted a stock went in and my other son and I stayed waiting in line. The son that went in 1st came out visibly upset and told us to just leave. I told him no, that I wanted to buy my gun. He left. Finally they let us in, they were very rude, and not very knowledgeable. He made us feel like we were a bother to him. I later found out the reason my 1st son left very upset was that he overheard the guy that didnt want to let us in before, asking ( practically whining ) to a person inside must we let them in? and pointing at us. I really dont understand why we werent welcome like everyone else. We were very patient in line, very polite when speaking with them. We were dressed accordingly. Yet, they signaled us out like we were the scum of the earth. Their business looks like it would have a lot of selection of guns, they do not. They are much higher priced than all the other gun and range shops in the area. But the biggest reason for us to never want to return there or tell any of our friends to go there is their terrible and seemingly prejudiced way we were treated. If you dont have great prices or great selection you should at least have great customer service. Im not a newbie buying guns. In fact, we went to Shoot Straight when we left there and bought the gun I wanted to add to my collection and my son bought the AR 15 pistol he wanted. They were very organized, instead of having everyone stand in line in the heat, they took first names and telephone #s so that we could wait in our cars or wherever else we wanted. I shouldve never strayed from Shoot Straight where I normally buy my firearms. Dont waste your time or hard earned money at Nexus, you may possibly get treated like dirt for no apparent reason other than they probably had some preconceived idea that we werent going to buy anything just by looking at us. I also guess thats why they have to constantly spend money, money that would be put to better use to offer more selection, to advertise themselves on the morning news radio I listen to, since theyre probably losing a lot of customers because of their lack of firearm selections, their higher than usual prices, and especially their terrible customer service.
Highly suggested! The staff was great. Steven was very helpful! He took the time to get to know me and really understand my needs. Thank you Nexus, you will definitely see me again!
Walk in first you spend 20min filling documents and than $10 membership fee?????My friend was forced to stay outside in 93 degree heat when there is a waiting area inside didnt make any sense to me.Pay the $10 walk out and will never come back.
Awesome place to blow off some steam and get some target practice in. I recommend that you go during the week if you can, its get super busy on the weekends.
After purchasing several firearms from this place and one recently a week ago I come back in on my day off exactly a week to date and was told they cannot sell me any range ammo, unless Im using their range. which I do understand theres a shortage of ammunition but Im a repeat local customer that has purchased several firearms and gear from this store. What can I say they lost my business and my team that comes with me.
Was at Nexus today to sight in a trijicon mro at 25 yards unsupported, not an easy thing to do. Range officer Warren noticed I was struggling to sight the optic in unsupported and he brought me a chair and a wooden ransom rest, without me asking for it. This made for a far less frustrating experience and I was able to sight the optic in within minutes. I later found out that he had built the wooden ransom rest on his own dime. I hope Nexus gets some more of these wood rests in the future since they only had one available. Also on my way out Brian at the Range Check Desk helped suggest a handgun rental.
Horrible customer service with transfers!! Especially now that they are charging $40 for a transfer that costs them NOTHING!! Explanation I received was they are doing 80+ per day?!? So instead of hiring additional staff, making $3,200+ per day (almost $100,000 a month)... you wait 3-5 days for processing. Additionally while waiting today, I noticed the drastic increase in prices. I guess they dont realise that their customers will remember their price gouging. AVOID NEXUS AT ALL COSTS!! There are many companies that process same day for $10 and are selling weapons at fair market prices.
Great range. Has terrific ventilation in the range. Lots of employees that offer great customer service. Have great variety.
About 2 weeks ago i took a concealed class with Chris Hill. I have to say he was AMAZING. He provided me with such great information that i didnt know about until i took his class. He was very very helpful. I do have to say taking his class i did gain a lot of knowledge. And very pleased with the everything he provided to me.
Sometimes there is a long wait time to be able to shoot in the interactive side of the range, but it’s worth it. My suggestion is to go early in the morning to avoid this. The games they offer in the interactive shooting side is a lot of fun and can really test your accuracy. It’s awesome that they offer guns for rent as well; this way you can test many different guns before purchasing a new one. This place is a must if you’re into shooting.
I took my Concealed Weapon Class here with Chris Hill, who by the way is a great instructor with many years of experience. This range is one of the best ranges I’ve ever been to. The range officers are great, and sales person are always willing to help and answer your questions. Nexus is also a great to have your transfers sent to. It’s cheap and they make the process very easy. I recommend going to Nexus 10/10.
Horrible customer service, called in for a specific item which they assured me was in stock. After driving half an hour and waiting another half an hour to be attended, I was “helped” by a manager who just told me they didn’t have that one. I explained that I called in advanced and showed no empathy and did nothing seem to care.
