I found this company by searching for custom closets in Davie. I was afraid of what I would encounter but boy was I impressed. David came to my home to design what would be my master room walk in closet. He designed it literally in front of me. We discussed changes, prices, and other details all in that moment. The installation was schedule within 3 weeks, which was faster compared to other companies. Yesterday, Jeff came to install my closet and he was polite, professional, and did a fantastic job. He cleaned up after himself that you wouldn’t think anything happened in that area. The entire experience with this company was amazing and my vision of my dream closet cametrue. I highly recommend them and plan on using themin the future.

We had a great experience with MDC, from initial consultation to installation our project went smoothly, we are very pleased. We replaced all interior doors with the Nantucket model, including all bifold closet doors. The doors are a perfect fit for the existing frames, theyre sturdy, function properly and look very nice. We negotiated a fair price, MDC supplied the hardware and we saved money by buying door handles online. The installation crew were real pros, they worked efficiently, completed tasks quickly, they even installed the door handles we purchased elsewhere and cleaned up once they finished installing. Communication with the entire MDC staff was excellent, they answer all phone calls and emails quickly, sent reminders and confirmed all appointments. I highly recommend MDC.

Typical Miami and Ft. Lauderdale scam....they want to know where you live in order to give you a price. Very bad service, called to get a price of a door and they would not give me the price over the phone. I explained to her that the door had the standard measurements 30 x 80 and I also stated the name of the particular door I wanted. She was giving me the excuse that they needed to come in order to give me an estimate. I stated again, wait, I am telling you the size and the name of the door I want, how is it that you cant give me the price??? I just want the door installed, nothing else. She stated again, im not allowed to give prices over the phone, we will have to get your address and they will go in person to give a quote. I then saId...WAIT, I just want to know the more less the price this way I know if I want a quote or not. I dont want to waste my time or the company’s time, especially now in COVID times who wants a stranger in their house. Very sad how this people are operating, unfortunately this is just one of the companies that is doing this scam. All they want to know is where you live in order to manipulate and give you the price according to where you live and the price of your house. I wish I could leave them 0 stars but the system doesn’t let me.

My husband and I remodeled 3 walk-in closets and they were the most affordable of the other 4 quotes we got. We spoke with Mike and his team and they were on time and professional. The Install lasted a maximum of 4 hours which we found to be very fast. also, the crew cleaned up after themselves.I will note that we had to remove the previous closet, fix the wall, and paint before they arrived however they were very open about their services and we appreciated that their were no surprises. Overall great experience.

David provides exceptional customer service and is VERY attentive. He did a wonderful in home consult and as a realtor/client I would recommend his service!

The installers were respectful of my home and didn’t leave a mess. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the doors...they really give our house a high end look!

We had 2 closets and a pair of sliding doors installed and are very happy with the results. The installer was on time, very professional and extremely knowledgeable and was able to install everything by himself in about 4 hours. I definitely recommend them.

The doors are fantastic. The delivery and installation were a problem. They did not have the proper tools to install the hardware and said we would need to contact the store. We did and they asked us to email them the details. We did and they did not respond. We had to hire someone to finish the job.

I ordered + 20 doors in mid June as part of a full renovation of my house. The doors arrived mid August but unfortunately became defective. There was a huge gap between the doors and the floor, therefore I requested the installers to remove the new doors and to re install the old ones. No matter a discount, I was not willing to receive the doors. A week later Michael (Sales) and David ( the business owner) visited me, I explained them my dissatisfaction and they agreed to reorder the doors with the correct measurements. The new doors arrived on Monday October 22 and were installed next day. This time everything worked perfectly and Mario and the other two installers did an excellent job “kudos for them”.They have a great product, the doors are beautiful and Installers are very professional and take care of every single detail.I am glad I gave them the opportunity to reorder the doors.Due to the long delay (4 months) I can not give them five stars.

My wife and I recently conducted an extensive remodel of our 3-bed/2 bath condo. One of the best decisions we made in that process was to select Miami Doors & Closets (MD&C) in Davie as the contractor to replace all of the interior doors and closet doors. We just downsized from a single family home into our “retirement condo”. As such, we wanted to upgrade from the typical, contractor-grade doors that are so commonplace. In particular, we really wanted to replace the inexpensive, louvre-style, bi-fold doors on all of the closets. In total, we purchased 18 new doors. That included a 2-panel sliding door and a 4-panel sliding door on two of our closets.We set up a time for a representative from MD&C to visit our home for an assessment. It turned out that this was conducted by the owner, David Shrager. David was very pleasant to work with from the very beginning. He listened to what we wanted to change/accomplish, offered suggestions about what was (and was not) feasible, and answered a long list of our questions. We met with David a few days later in his office where we reviewed the detailed cost estimate he had prepared for us. While the total cost was a bit higher than I had been hoping to see, it was still within my range of expectation. David worked with us to provide whatever discount we were eligible to receive. In the end, I had no reservations about the final bill because I was convinced that we had negotiated a fair deal. More importantly, based on my extensive research and my discussions with David, I was confident that we were purchasing a high quality product that would stand the test of time. During our onsite visit, gave us a tour of the warehouse and showed us the various options for door styles, color, and hardware. We also watched a video that provided more insight into the methodical process the company uses to customize the measurement, manufacturing, painting, and installation of doors.Shortly after our onsite visit, David and another company representative came back to our condo to measure all of our door spaces. They used some sort of laser-guided measuring machine to precisely measure all of the openings. I can attest that this process must work as promised since all of our new doors look and open/close as if they were built specifically for their respective spaces.It took a few weeks for our doors to be cut, painted, and shipped. On installation day, everything occurred without a hitch. Two installers arrived on time in the morning and worked until finished that afternoon. All of the doors and hinges look and feel solid. The company provided all of the hinges. My wife and I were especially pleased with the manner in which the panel doors roll on the two closets. I doubt these doors will ever slip out of their tracks. We provided our own door handles and door stops, which the workers installed for us. The sheen of the paint was particularly impressive. As advertised, it does not appear as if this paint will ever fade. Also, the type of paint facilitates cleaning of any errant scuffs.Unfortunately, one door did not arrive as planned. We rescheduled a day and time for the installers to return to install that door. When they returned, the installation probably took less than 15 minutes. At that time, we also asked the installers if they would mind modifying one small bi-fold door so that it would open from the right instead of the left. We discovered after the fact that such a change would offer us a bit more storage space in one of our bedrooms. The installers gladly made the requested change for us. It has now been several weeks since our new doors were installed. We have not problems with any of these doors.
