This place is incredibly organized! My father and I received help to find the car we were looking for and we were well on our way. They provide a map that is easy to read and navigate the layout. The checkout process is simple and easy. They also provide hand washing stations and wheel barrels.Best to being a variety of your own tools, flashlight, gloves, comfortable shoes, rags, bug spray & wear a hat for sunny days!
So organized! Their entire inventory can be found online which makes every thing WAY easier.
Don’t give proper change. They just round down they’re stealing people’s money the amount isn’t the issue it’s the principle. Horrible junkyard. Also I don’t care for your apology don’t reply to my review I’m just writing this so people can see not for a useless apology.
Ever since lkq from miami personal moved here the cars go to waste they are not in order like they use to be ..luxury cars are in the swap parts are wet or useless but car was complete when pictured .over priced on a lot of used item that would go to garbage if not bought .ebay and amazon seem to be a better choice
Nice staff. Very large inventory. Signs said you can check inventory on their website. Decent prices.
Excellent option if you are looking usedauto parts with a great price
Cool place to get parts! Bring lots and lots of water to stay hydrated! Gets hot out there while youre pulling parts!
Good stock of cars!. Very very busy location, almost no parking! we drove out over 2.5 hrs(from Port Charlotte) worth the drive. Thank You
This is the most cleanest and most organized junkyard Ive ever seen! Great variety. Unlike other used parts, here, you have 30 days for returns. Oscar, at the front desk, is cool and very knowledgeable. He provided great advice for my Jeep cluster. Miami shops have NOTHING on this one! Ill definitely be returning!
Funny staff, hot as hell, mosquitos like crazy. Bring your own stuff! They only have port o potty bathrooms
Very nice place to get your own parts with an ample selection. If they don’t have it, sign up for email notifications and they let you know when the car you want arrives at the location. A word of warning and why I give it 4 stars is to watch your receipt because the cashiers may add items such as extended warranty without telling you!
No parts for toyota tacomo 2001
Easy to search inventory and pretty large selection of cars, but parking is a mess. Get here early if possible
Showed up here on a Sunday morning. Website and google hours show it opens at 8 am. It’s 8:48 am right now and there is a line with about 30 people waiting to get in. Come on!
The only cons is the prices are too high for used and broken parts. Except for that everything is well organized
Lots of cars, basically its early bird gets the worm, they do put good cars out that arent to smashed up but if your not the first there all the good parts are gone, seems fair to me tho, great variety for cars 2010 below I would say fair prices as well. their new app helps a ton, can tell you when the car your looking for is in the yard with the pictures and its location. Their new store in the front is beautiful as well with everything you can imagine
Called 20 junk yards for an f-150 cluster they all wanted a 100 to 150 went to LKQ pick your part got it for 30 bucks and I didnt even have to remove it it was already unplugged ready to go
Pick your own parts for cheaper... Nice!
Dirty, no organized, plenty of mosquitos biting your arms, but finally you get your second hand part luckily
Most car are stripped away. Almost impossible to get a part that you want since the people destroy everything to get a single part. Garbage and stripped parts everywhere over the yard. A mess! I heard that a lot of people just go to take a lot of parts the first day when the car is available to resale somewhere else......
Very good place to find the parts you need for your vehicle
Bring your tools and your ice cold drinks before hand... Make sure to get a list of items youll need from staffing
Not a lot of decent parking here, but the guy in the parking lot helping people find places to park was very helpful! The place had several of our cars but not the equipment we were looking for. But the staff is very courteous and the location is perfect for the Fort Lauderdale area.
Be Careful at check out tge guys at cashdesk try to charge maximum they can, ask them you want part without insurance, if its unnecessary, l brought wheel wanted to charge me broken tyre too. Know what you doing, except from this l like this family orientated american style picnic place, dont be shy get your sandwich come with you girlfriend. Weekend beautiful women day
MAKE SURE YOU TELL THEM NOT TO ADD THE 90 DAY WARRANTY TO YOUR PARTS IF THEY ARE NOT NEEDED!! THEY DONT TELL YOU ANYTHING AND STORE POLICY SAYS ONCE THE TRANSACTION IS MADE THEY WONT GIVE YOU THE MONEY BACK. TREMENDA MIERDA
Spent Valentines day hunting with hubby...it was fun..they made easy to find what we needed..a bit pricey...but good.
Excellent service, can always find what you need. Also best prices of any junk yard in town.
Its mechanics paradise
Best organized and clean yunk yard in town
The boys there are very helpful and courteous
Awesome experience .3 box to get in.they have wheelbarrows to get your heavy stuff and engine jacks too.the rest almost the same everywere.definetelly i will be back.this was my amusement park when i get this country and seems that 15 tears after it will be again.
I would never camp out for Black Friday. For Burma Superstar I might! So delicious!
Horrible.....parking lot was small so you have to drive around to find a spot or wait until someone leaves. Very far away if you coming from Miami or Homestead...the lot itself is all gravel so pushing a cart inside is a pain in the butt.
Its like Christmas shopping for car parts
Its good. Sometimes you get really lucky with parts.
It was so good, those direccion in the paper sheet and the map, they are great . Allow you to go straight to what you are looking for
Great junkyard. I found the donor vehicle I was pulling from right away thanks to their app. Fair prices for what I pulled. I do have two suggestions for people...1: Get there as early as possible because their parking lot fills up quick, and 2: bring a can of Off! with you because the mosquitoes are relentless.
My only concern is not enough parking
This place is great if you have a used car you need parts dont hesitate to go there when you get there ask for the computer to find the vehicle youre looking for and where its located this is very important so youre not out in the yard searching for an hour the place is very big the computer will tell you exactly where the car is located try to go in the morning when its not so hot and make sure you bring water if you get there later than that I was able to obtain what I needed for my car with no problem make sure you bring tools do the job you need to do be prepared the parking is not plentiful however there is parking in a plaza next door entry fee to get in the yard is $3 which is very very economical considering you could be paying a lot more money for the parts from the dealer the part I needed was probably going to be anywhere from $75 to well over that I paid $12 sweet!!!!!!!!!!I highly recommend this place for used car owners and everybody involved in vehicle maintenance you will be extremely happy once you find what you were looking for I hope this review good luck finding what youre looking for I will definitely be back if I need something else
Very interesting, parts and more parts to choose from, we got what we wanted, and it fit perfectly.
Always has the parts Im looking for. Great customer service as well. Thanks 😊 🙏
Great selection of cars to pick from
Always have used parts at fantastic prices place is always busy
Not a bad place, but the joint has some of the most violent mosquitos I’ve ever seen in my life 😅 Please cover up before going.
Great and organized
Download the app first to make sure they have what you need, but other than that always a good deal.
Great place to find parts
We have been doing business with them for years. Love the prices and the inventory. All around awesome place to get parts! Very cheap for entry I believe it’s two or three dollars and their website makes it very easy to find what your looking for. It will show you pictures of the particular vehicle and even what tow it’s in.
Great junkyard. Been coming here for over 20yrs. Download the app and visit the website to check inventory and parts prices.
If it has rained dont wear flip flops! Its a salvage yard, after all. Best experience I have ever had! Checked for parts on line, got location of parts in yard. In and out 15 minutes! Saved $70 on the exact part I needed! Highly recommend everyone use this yard.
Very disorganized ..totat disappointment and a waste of time...Total disregard for the customer...
Excellent service
Ever part you will need
A huge selection of cars. I dont like the way they are organizing cars nowadays
Usually a solid run whenever I visit
Typical junk yard
A lot of inventory, Good prices, well organized.
Great set up, the staff could be a little friendlier but hey I guess you cant have it all.
If youre vehicle is broken and youre looking for used parts to get it fixed, LQP Pick Your Part can be your place( engines, transmissions, tires, batteries, doors and so one)
Didnt have what I was looking for
Overall you can find what your looking for as long as the car isnt totaled like I found out once getting there. Before the time change the place closed at 6 and that was respected until today. The closing time has changed to 5 and they closed at 4:30!The cashier Ive experienced in the past was respectful but again today I encountered Pam and as one poster posted she is very rude. She took the entry fee mumbled something about gate closing in 8 mins but had till 5 to finish took my money and about 5 minutes later was screaming over the intercom about the gate being closed and that we needed to leave. Then two minutes later was screaming again to get out! I went to speak to the manager and his claim is theyve always closed the gates 30 minutes ahead and before the time change it was 5:30 and that in the seven years thats how its always been. He didnt even address how rude his employee is.A gate and the yard is two separate things. Taking people money knowing they wont have any time to do anything is called STEALING. Closing at 4:30 when your advertised to close at 5 is called LYING. Losing my business may not affect them overall but thats exactly what theyve lost. Regardless of what type of business it may be you should respect your customers.
Great place to pick your parts then buy them at a reasonable offer.
Normally has most of the part you looking for sometimes its a little hard to get to but thats to be expected the most part recently price
I went to most of time for my one visitors to pick up the parts of send to Colombia
Extremely poor customer service. Ive been going there for years previously, and took note on how the once great service they used to provide started to degrade. It got even worse since that fire incident and now management changes doesnt seem to help it either. I couldnt find the part(s) I was looking for, fine, no problem. But, there was a problem leaving as one of the employees asked to check my toolbag which I had no problems with but then took 3 of my oil filter sockets that I brought with me that a PAID FOR and told me this was from the yard. I tried to explain to him directly that it is not and WHY would I even want to take junk tools from a scrapyard? That doesnt make sense. Even after trying to explain, he just tossed my tools into the scrap bin and then told me its not marked. HOW was I supposed to know I need to mark my tools when theres no billboard or warning of such things? At least back then they marked tools that would look like it came from the yard before you enter to avoid this issue, not after. And then after all that, he hurried off to his own business. It felt like I was treated like a thief when I havent even taken a single bolt from the yard. Ive lost my faith in this junkyard that steals and trashes customer tools.
Good
I had a fabulous first time experience! I found my same car, it had the part I needed, I went and grabbed my tools and proceeded to take the part out when a nice guy took it out for me. The part online was normally $80 but only $8 here. They do have wheelbarrows you can use.
This review is not 100% accurate because I agree with other people when it comes to check out and other idiots that make the company look bad. I dedicate the stars to the hard working manager that took his time and went out of the way to help me. Once I got to check out- a racist younger employee was charging extra parts, didn’t accept my return and then threatened to fight me when he gets off. Typical adolescence of today’s society. Place is kept clean but policy must change for held items maybe a different bin//?
After spending over an hour walking through their very unsafe yard with every car prep up on 3 or 4 old steel rims. looking for the car part I needed.I find it at the end of yard on the other side of a fence. I asked the very helpful yard person if theres some way I or they could get two tires off it.He said not until it gets inventoried and I should go back to the office and talk to Mike he might be able to get something done. seems they take the tires off and brings them up to the office area on pallets when they take fluids out of the cars before they set them up on rims in the yard for the you pull lot.So up to the office I go, stand in line for another 15 minutes .And the cashier was rude and not helpful and tells me to download some program and check it often to see when the car gets inventory then come that day for the parts.
Found what I was looking for at a good price 👍 Great .
Any round speaker is considered a woofer at this place. Staff will knowingly charge you for a subwoofer even though the speaker you are buying is a mid-range driver. Management does not care. Staff needs to be trained on what a subwoofer is.
First time there, wont be the last!
Stock yard, Amazing... All you needs is here... Spacious and saw special. Aint no mechanic but light ones. Is Great!
This is what a self service yard should be. Puts all other ones to shame. Clean, organized good cars. Congrats to the management.
Not like it used to
Great selection decent prices
Place is a mess hard to find certain cars. Its all mixed up
10 Tips for shopping at U-Pull-it 1 )Its a self-service junk yard. Bring the tools you need to remove the parts you need. 2) You are not always going to find what you need. The most in demand parts go fast. If you need a specific part that is in good condition, you are probably better off buying it on ebay. If you need a body panel or other slow moving part, you will probably do very well. 3) The cars are left open to rain. Dont expect to find nice interiors, it happens, but not often. 4) Dont ask other people if you can borrow their tools. It is slows them down and is rude, see #1. 4) Rent a wheel barrow for $1 if you are going to get something heavy or have lots of tools. 5) Please remove the parts carefully. Dont destroy useful parts in the process of getting the one you need. 6) Bring mosquito repellent, they are bad at times. 7) Bring a bottle of water if it is one of the 364 days a year that it is hot and humid in South Florida. 8) The prices are great on some things, expensive on others. It doesnt matter the condition of the part, it costs the same regardless. 9) The inventory online is pretty accurate, but it does not say what is left on the car. It could be completely stripped or complete. 10) Bring rubber boots if it have been raining a lot or you will get your feet wet.
Its good to find parts for cars tires alsmost new for about $25.00 you will be charged an entrance fee of $3.00 each .
The car selection is great! They only have one cashier since the new owners took over to check you out.The other cashier takes your $2.00 to get in.I have been their 5 time in last 2 weeks the lies are 10 to 15 people deepand moves very slow.My advice to the owners: If you only have one cashier taking money for parts and one for money let the people come in for FREE! So you will then have 2 people cashing people out!If time is an issue dont come here! There are plenty of other yards around the corner, its too dang hot to be standing in the sun!!!The staff is friendly!
They would get 5 if the parking lot was bigger
I been coming here for 20 yrs. Its great. Its like a candy store I love it. Prices are ok. They will charge you for every bolt.
Need to have more wheel barrows
People were pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately they didnt have the parts i needed. Someone had beat me to them
Great!
Always a good experience, if you go on the web site before hand you will be able to fill in what car you are looking for and see if it is there in the inventory, they also have an app that you can download that even makes it that much more easier to fi d yohr parts, just be prepared on a hot day bri g a cooler and your tools and youll be set and ready to pick your parts
Well run and always plenty of cars. Be prepared to walk a lot. The yard is a mile long.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I thought people in Broward were nicer than people in Miami. Fat chance. I went there because their inventory said they had a received a car two days ago that I needed parts from. I looked around the whole yard and couldnt locate it. I went to the cashier to ask who I can speak to about finding a car I didnt see out there. This scrawny dude with a terrible attitude basically asked me are you buying anything?, then I cant help you and I asked nicely to see about the car and he said he didnt know I simply replied you work here and you dont know? And he replied rudely now Im not gonna help you! And gave me a nasty face. Never going back.
The best place to help you maintain your xar or rebuilt in a cheap prices. And there is a price list in the site. And i love this place...
Too expensive. Less than 10% off retail. Not worth the time spent finding and removing part. Easier to buy online
Hit or miss place.Check the website to see if the cr youre looking for is there b4 going. The staff are what you expect at a junkyard. Most are jerks. But if you know what you are doing and have tools you can be smart and find what you are looking for.
Excellent. Recent change in staff an attitude makes all the difference.
