Ryan is by the far the rudest shouldnt be working in customer service, the manager never calls back this store needs new employees and a manager thats going to do his job. They are all very unprofessional. Do not rent from them. I asked for corporate number they stated they couldnt give out and Ryan couldnt find it. Very rude I will be reporting them to the BBB and calling corporate thanks for the bad business I should have sent to bettendorf like I usually do on spruce theyre very polite and have great customer service.
Rented a indoor climate controlled unit for three months. Had no issues or complaints. The employees I interacted with MK and ORyon were very helpful and pleasant. Would use the storage units again if needed.
The staff at this Uhaul location is impeccable!! Very friendly and knowledgeable.They told me what ball hitch I needed for my Jeep Grand Cherokee which I purchasedright there at an excellent price. They had me on my way in a very reasonable time.I would recommend this location anyone and everyone,

We picked up two U-Box trailers on a Saturday. We had to make two trips since we could only haul one trailer at a time. James hooked up the trailer and loaded the U-box for us both times while we waited in our vehicle. It was quick and painless! Thank you, James! BTW we moved from California to Iowa, our U-boxes were on time and there was no damage to the boxes or the items inside.
Great friendly service! The pickup truck was great for our girl scout adventure and the cargo van made a great girls trip to IKEA. Both vehicles were nice and the seating was comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have use them on multiple occasions. Well definitely use them again.
If I could give zero stars I would. U Haul charged our account 3 times for the rental truck we received. The 2 extra charges added up to almost $500. We have since been trying to have them remove the extra charges from our account. We have called several times and even gone in person with our credit card statement. They claim that they cant see the charges on their end. I called a week ago and spoke with Mr. Kelly, the manager. I was told hed look into it and return my call. Im still waiting for that call.Stay away from this store.
I have rented from U-haul multiple times. I will be honest. I have had issues with scheduling and double booking. This is not a location issue, this is more corporate. This instance I called and scheduled a hitch and wiring harness install on my Lexus. I called three weeks in advance and paid in advance. The day I brought my car in for the install, I was informed no parts were ordered when the order was placed. This was not good. I needed the install to use a trailer I had recently purchased to move my daughter home from college the following morning. James the location manager stepped up. He gave me a truck at no charge to use the next day for moving my daughter. His mechanic James (yep, another James) jumped on line and got the needed parts ordered for my future install. Although I received poor service from corporate scheduling, I am still rocking out 5 Stars for Davenport West Kimberly Road location. It’s ok to make mistakes. Customer service shines when you rectify those mistakes properly.
This was my first time at this location.I did not know much about towing my car with the truck.I appreciate the general manager Mr James Kelly who walked me through the entire process and also agreed to assist me in loading my car on the day of move.Id 100% recommend this place to anyone looking to move. Mr. Kelly is extremely friendly and a helpful person. It felt like asking a friend for help.
Terrible service. The receptionist on the other end gave no useful information about picking up my trailer and hung up on us when we were trying to explain what was going on! NEVER COMING TO THIS LOCATION FOR UHAUL AGAIN!! If I could give negative stars I would.
This place was great and had lots of inventory of supplies for moving and the staff was quick friendly and very efficient and it was a pleasure doing business with them. Definitely check them out if you’re moving
I just filled two propane tanks for just a couple bucks more than my last single blue rhino exchange. Ashley and the entire staff are so friendly and knowledgeable about the entire store. Thanks for the great service!!

You’re better off storing your stuff in the Walmart parking lot and hoping nobody steals it. This place is a joke. Messed up my reservation 3 times, door access alarms don’t function properly, and charged a late fee after taking a card and assuring me I was on auto pay. If you do decide to knowingly make one of the worst decisions of your life, be sure to bring ear plugs when you access your unit because the alarms will be going off. Zero accountability, zero customer service and zero follow through on anything they tell you. Seriously, think hard about the Walmart parking lot.
I cant say enough good things about Uhaul of Davenport!!! We were on a cross country move and our local Uhaul wouldnt let us rent our tow dolly because we didnt have hitch wiring installed. After much searching we decided to call Davenport which was our first stop on our move to see if they could help. James the manager was so helpful. I was given his cell phone number. Also James the mechanic came in on his day off to help us. They got us hooked up and ready to go. James gave me refreshments and was so helpful!! Amazing customer service!
Horrible customer service. I made 2 separate reservations online, then called to verify they were made. The person I spoke to on the phone was extremely rude. I told him I made a reservation and wanted to check on it. His response was what about it. No greeting like sure no problem or maybe let me check on that for you. After I gave him the name he verified it then immediately hung up. I called back and asked for his managers name and number. He replied with they arent here then hung up again. I will never use this location again. I have reached out to corporate so hopefully I receive a call from the manager.

James kelly the GM is an absolutely horrible GM. My family drove 424 miles came to use our storage unit that we bought. Gm refused to assistance us getting into the building was extremely rude and condescending to my sister and brother in law that were moving. Refused to give me the number for his boss randy dickson said the number was in the door and it isnt even after I said it wasnt there he still refused to give us the number. Go to menards storage youll have a better time. Never will suggest this location to anyone ever. Will be in contact with corporate
I reserved a 26 ft UHAUL truck on Friday March 5th. I called the day before and stated I needed to pick up an hour sooner and they were flexible! Went in and customer service was good. Packed all my things in, get to new place and the ramp jams up... worst thing ever.. put me soo far behind since store location was closed. Waited till morning to call, the manager stated my contract said 8am was drop off but was told 9am by lady. So then he said we will work with ya and the manger PERSONALLY came down with his personal vehicle to my house and got the ramp in working order again and extended my contract till 6pm. They didnt charge me extra due to malfunction of the ramp! And I was able to get everything done! Thank you so much for helping me. Ive always feared this location due to bad previous experience but there is a new store manager and he is working hard to gain the trust of the community again.

Mr. Kelly the general manager was so kind and gracious to me and my grandma during a time of crisis that nobody had control over. He personally helps rearrange our whole unit and box our stuff with such care that my grandma had tears of joy in her eyes because she loves her possessions so much. The Uhaul staff had such great customer service that we will not go anywhere else other than here. We are so thankful to mr. Kelly and his entire staff at West Kimberly for their help and services to us customers.
Our experience started off rocky but Keshaun (?)turned that around. He was very nice and helpful. We really appreciate the time he took to explain everything. This guy is a asset to your company.

I came in to rent a U-Haul and the worker Ashley was extremely rude too me she had her boyfriend and children in there it’s was extremely unprofessional I was waited to get one as she was dealing with her children because they were misbehaving but I got tired of waiting and left I will never go back to this U-Haul every again and I recommend not to go back while she is working however I did call and speak to a nice man named Oryan and he apologized for my experience and told me to come back and get my truck I already got another one but he was extremely thoughtful towards the situation with me the next time I need a truck I will call before hand to make sure she is not there!

Just got my propane tank filled and paid with a check only to be told it was declined. Ive had this checking account for 25years and have never had a problem? When I asked why she bluntly answered I dont know! Then sent me out the door with a have a nice day wow! Good thing I had cash on me. That would be my first and last trip to uhaul.

The management of this facility is obviously untrained and unprofessional. The manager, Denise Wagner, upon hearing a rather benign issue, expressed respectfully from a customer, immediate got in the customers face, and told the customer that they would no longer we welcome to rent from them. End of story. Mortified is hardly an understatement. If any of my employees behaved towards a customer as she did, they would be fired on the spot.While U-Haul is a good company, the individual that manages this facility is not worth dealing with. Go somewhere else if you want to be treated like a valued customer.
They rented me a truck with loose steering didn’t even check the truck before renting it to me. Had to call roadside for them to pick it up they swore I wouldn’t be bill for it now my account is negative because the billed me for it!!!!!!!! I’m pretty done with U-Haul all together every time I use one something goes wrong so please be warned.DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND DO NOT KEEP THEIR WORD!

The customer service of this location was absolutely terrible! A lady by the name of Tamara was no help after waiting there for roughly 45 min. Once we left and contacted customer service about getting a rental we were transferred 5 times until we actually got answers. I strongly do not recommend this uhaul rental in Davenport to anyone!
Beware when buying boxes from this location! Bought $172 worth of boxes recently. All but one bundle had at one time been water damaged and the structural integrity of the boxes compromised. They will hold your stuff but dont try to stack them as they will collapse!
Abaolutely the worst service. Uhaul in has been a nightmare Everytime Ive used them but this place was absuletly ridiculous. You would think they that would value a customer that has spend 10k in 5 years. I will be taking my business anywhere but here and telling everyone to do the same!
My husband threw something in the trash not knowing that u could not do that even when we were renting a storage unit, the manager got up in his face yelling profanity and said he was going to have the cops called. He was so unprofessional all he had to say was your not allowed to do that.Whenever we went to pay no one was around and it took close to a hr and they seemed so incompetent.Stay far far away
Very nice lady there that made the company look good! I appreciated that even though the lady single handedly was running the store alone at such a busy time. She still took the time out to show me the rental units sizes and answer all my questions. I will definitely be back for use of the storage facility and truck services. Tried the online setup to make everything run smoothly, but the system wouldnt process at pick-up. When we talked to Rebecca, the attendant at the counter, she was very dismissive. And, when we asked questions, she would just sit there and look at the screen and not answer. When we finally got her to cancel the online reservation and make one in person, it cost more than the original one.Not a good experience. Even the employees talked bad about their online and in house systems.
Had to pick up something in Sutherland, IA. Had to wake up at 5:00am. Left Riverside, IA and drive 1 hour east to Davenport. Arrived right at store opening at 7:00am. He had me hooked up and ready to go in 15 minutes. Not one glitch!!! Great experience!!!
Didn’t open doors for business on time despite the fact my rental time was at 7 A.M. Customer service here is the worst. Rented here twice and both times there was no manager on duty. I was given his business card and it just disconnects the call. Even if you have an pick up time and certain size truck to pick up it is NOT a guarantee you’ll get it. And they do NOT honor the $50 guarantee.
We rented UBoxes for us moving out the state. Makinzie Wagner was the driver who delivered boxes to our house. Makinzie did a great job managed to put all boxes on our drive way to let packing go through very smoothly. This was our first time using UBox with a lot of question and unpredictable issues, Makinzie was patiently answered all questions and helped our solved all issues. We felt she was there anytime when we needed her. Thanks for the great service.
Husband called and stated needed for 26,000 pound truck for CDL test and set up rental. Got there and picked up truck and drove to DMV to take test only to be told truck was not large enough weight so he could not take it. Was not given any sort of refund or partial refund. Spoke with manager at this location to be told it was our fault for not looking online to see they dont have a large enough truck. Yet also said it was a miscommunication between staff when asked if they knew that they did not have large enough vehicle for test why they dont ask what CDL people are trying to get, was still told it was our fault. Will never go there for anything again.
If I could leave a negative star review, I would. Booked over a month in advance. Called the day before to say that Id have to pick up 3 HOURS away due to demand. 3 HOURS. Oh, and the smug little thing had the gall to say we tell you pick up location can change. Umm...within town..sure. 3 HOURS?So, because I still needed pads, dollies, etc. I called and asked if I could still rent that. Was told absolutely! So stupid me..like a glutton for punishment, drives there and waits in line for 15 min. to be told when were busy, we only rent that to people who rented trucks. WOW!DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! DO NOT TRUST THEM! THEY ARE CROOKS! HORRIBLE PEOPLE! Not to mention...rude, condescending, and unprofessional.
Scheduled a trailer for the weekend because we are moving. Got there and they scheduled it for two weekends BEFORE the day that we called. Tell me how that can happen! Now we are running around trying to find a trailer because we have a certain day to be out of our house we are selling.

Reserved a 26 foot Uhaul 4 times in 2 months told us we had to wait for the truck so we have and they gave it away every time and said if we want it, we have to drive 50+ miles to get it. Go somewhere else then here. They treat their customers like garbage.

Absolutely the worse situation I have ever been in, paid for a 20 ft truck over a week in advance and the day before it was needed, they said sorry didnt have one!!! Stay away from Uhaul all together!!!!

If they dont know what they are doing or hate their job they should of stayed in school. Its no ones fault if theyre unhappy with life so they take it out on customers. I feel sorry for the I haul corporation hiring people like these. Especial the women over charging with the nasty attitude. Shes not good at what she does. Neither is the 17 year old manager they have. I wish they had negative rating I can give them they dont even deserve this one star Im about to give them.
