My experience from the salesman to the installation has been FABULOUS!! The salesman was very personable and my install couple were an absolute delight. They were courteous and took care with my property inside and out. Im so thrilled with how my windows look. Trust me, I had another company come out and give me an estimate based on other peoples recommendation and let me just say NO THANK YOU. The salesman was rude and not informative at all. Im so glad I went with Mad City. Thanks to everyone!!! I did not have very many pictures to show you, but the front room is in the middle of install. Kitchen window is completed. Im very happy and will definitely keep them in mind for the remainder of the windows when I need them.

We had Mad City install new surfaces on our kitchen cabinets. The two installers, Austin and associate, were very professional and skilled in doing their work and completing the project in a timely manner. They also did a super job of cleaning the work area when they were completed with the project. We think our kitchen is stunning, and we be proud to show anybody what our kitchen looks like now. I strongly encourage everyone to STAY AWAY from Mad City! Take my extremely abbreviated experience with a shower installation below as your word of caution...-Mad City heavily advertises a single day installation as well as not using subcontractors. When I was called to schedule installation, I was only given two-day options.-Installers (who I later learned were subcontractors) were 3+ hours late the first day, 3+ hours late the second day, and no-call, no-shows the third day. The shower pan they had installed was installed crooked and had a huge gap between the drain PVC and the bottom of the shower pan. I had to demand a different crew of installers to fix these issues, and ultimately the total installation took 5 days.-Once the installation was completed, I noticed the shelves in the shower were not level, nor were they sloped to shed water. The field manager had to come out the next week to fix that.-The textured ceiling and drywall were also damaged by the first set of installers, and Im still working with Mad City to get these issues repaired and resolved TWO MONTHS later. (Photos of the damage are included)*Update* Mad City finally completed repairs as of 7/9/2021. Total time from the start of the installation was 117 days, or 3+ months later.

If you want your shower to be redone twice and have it still messed up, this is the place for you. The 2nd time they came to fix the first guys mess up, even after I told them the floor pan was junk they tried to level it and said screw it and finally agreed it needs replaced. Well they had it disconnected from the drain and they didnt hook up the pipe to the shower head correctly so it was raining down into my sons room on late Friday night and ruined the ceiling and carpet. They offered they have their own people to come and do the drywall but after seeing what there so called good help can do to a simple shower. Ill pass and they can pay a local contractor in my home town.

They installed a walk-in shower after removing old tub. and even cleaned up when they were done. I will recommend them for your work. A+ work

Had a bathroom remodel. We had our old tub taken out and replaced with a new walk in shower. We love our new shower and enjoy it very much. It is very nice for my wife as she could no longer step over our tub. Jerry & Marlene

My parents requested a quote from Mad City for a tub-surround replacement. The rest of the bathroom had already been remodeled. A gentlemen stopped over and proceeded to stay at their house for hours attempting to convince them to move forward for the $16,000 tub replacement. I arrived at their house for dinner around 7 p.m. and the gentlemen was still at their house. I asked my mom if he arrived late and she said no, he had been there for hours and they had told him that they would need to think about this purchase several times prior to my arrival. I then proceeded to advise that $16,000 was a bit more than what they planned on spending on a relatively simple tub replacement, they needed to think about the project, gain additional quotes, and then they will follow up with him if they make the decision to go with his quote. I also added that paying 16k for a tub replacement sounded a bit steep as I personally knew several private contractors that I was going to run this quote by, and get quotes from, prior to them moving forward.At this point, the gentlemen proceeded to tell my parents that the reason the price was so high was because my mother picked out the most expensive finishes, and it was their fault that the quote was so high. My mother told him that she didn’t know there were different prices, she just picked out what she liked in the finish book. He also added that he was not going to follow up with them regarding their visit because they clearly weren’t able to afford the price of Mad City’s expert work. I informed him that it wasn’t about the price tag, but that the price appeared to be a bit bloated for the job. My parents were very put off by this gentlemen as he was not going to take no for an answer.I am very happy that I showed up at their house when I did.

Mad City was professional and very pleasant to work with including the first sales person and the installer. The installer worked alone and was very good explaining everything as he worked. We made the commitment to go with Mad City to replace the windows in our house—a big expenditure and it was important to us that we picked the right product and installer! Our installation was completed yesterday, and we are very pleased. From the first moment we made an inquiry to the company until the installation was complete, everyone we worked with was highly responsive and very professional. The husband and wife team who installed the windows were kind and did a great job. Two parts (a screen and a window pull) arrived slightly damaged, so they put in an order to have both replaced. The company will come and change out those parts at no cost.Within a day, we felt a noticeable difference in temperature in our bedroom which would always get hot with the afternoon sun. Now, the room temperature stays the same as the rest of the house! We are very happy!

Our experience with Mad City Windows was very pleasant. The installation crew showed up the day we scheduled with them and immediately began their process. They were very courteous, friendly, and professional. We replaced ten windows and they finished the whole job in about seven hours. The finished product certainly met and exceeded our expectations. I chose Mad city to do some work on our shower and tub. They were able to complete the job within 2 days which was very beneficial since we only have one bathroom in our home. They were able to tear all the way down to the studs, which they ended up finding and cleaning up mold that was present by a window. The workers were very kind and professional and ended up doing a nice job. They do need to come back and do repairs, which they have not scheduled a day with us and it has been over a month since we last communicated about what need to be done.The lack of stars comes from being misled with their referral program. I had a given them a friend as a referral and it was expected for my friend and myself to receive a gift card for taking part in the referral. My friend had to sit through a sales pitch in which they were late to. Then afterwards we were assured we would both be receiving a gift card soon. After a week of waiting we both contacted Brett S. with Mad City and were assured they would be sent out soon. It has now been over a month of waiting for both of us. I have reached out to them on multiple occasions regarding this and they keep telling me it will arrive the week after and it has yet to arrive.The sales pitch was also aggressive and we felt pressured into purchasing that day. They will say that if you sign that day, you will get so much off, which was nice, but we felt we did not get enough time to think it through/talk it over privately.In all, the work does look nice, however it is on the back end of the work where I feel they are not as concerned with former clients.

Very professional and efficient! Once windows and door were ready from factory they called, set up install dates, and were punctual. Said it would take 2 days but they completed it all in 1 eight hour day! Love the idea of life time warranty too even on screens!!

Chris and his wife were our installers. They did a wonderful job and were very meticulous and cleaned up well behind themselves. They went the extra mile to make sure it turned out better than if it were their own. A Mad City manager showed up daily to make sure they didnt need anything extra for the install. Whatever they needed they got quickly. Heard some bad stories about mad city in past years but they have come along ways to make sure we were happy! Great job Mad City Windows!

Great service, very responsive and professional.We had Mad City replace a bathtub in a very small space. I wanted a deeper/bigger tub without doing a lot of reconstruction, and our sales rep. showed me a really great option. The only issue was that I misunderstood the bath depth, which was no more than 17 when I thought I had heard it would be 19, so it isnt as deep as I wanted, it is wider and slightly deeper so still an upgrade from what we had, and it is a beautiful bath/shower unit- to be as deep as I had hoped for, we would have had to knock down a wall. The price was reasonable, not super cheap but they had no interest no payments financing for 24 months so it helped us to be able to fit the expense into a more long term budget.

We had Mad City replace our bathtub with a walk in shower, The installers were very professional and did a fantastic job. The material is top quality and we are very satisfied. When they were completed with the job they cleaned up like they were never there. I would highly recommend Mad City Bath for your bath updates.

From start to finish my three experiences with Mad City have been amazing! Everyone seems to know what is going on, so if you call the person on the phone has knowledge of your order. I have used them three times and will continue to use them. They are responsive, quality work, the crews that were in my home were courteous and friendly. I cant say enough good things about the high quality windows that they put in my house.

Our old windows iced over in the winter and were very difficult to open. Mad City Windows is a great company that is easy to communicate with. The installers were very professional, and the windows are high quality. They seal out the cold without icing over in the winter, and are much easier to open. We replaced 2 broken windows and 3 not broken windows with this company, and will gladly use again. Priced for the quality installation, the lifetime warranty and of course materials made the cost worth it. Professional company installer instead of a sub-contractor, and the only thing they didnt do is match the faded colors of the rest of our house! LOL. We do hope to update the rest of our windows with this company, and then may try their bathroom services after. So professional and wonderful to work with.

I have done business in the past on 2 other occasions and have been happy with their work. This time has been a nightmare! I ordered new windows in addition to a new shower in October, 2020. The windows were installed sometime in November. At the time of installation, I brought to MadCitys attention that the grids on the windows were not correct. I was told they would put a rush on the new order to correct the problem. It is now May, 2021 and I am STILL waiting for the correct sashes.PLEASE NOTE: MY REVIEWS ARE MEANT FOR MADCITY WINDOWS AND BATH IN MADISON, WI (5020 Voges Rd, Madison, WI 53718) NOT DAVENPORT, IA.UPDATE: The correct sashes were FINALLY installed on July 30th! One window was damaged in transit. I received a call from Mad City ASKING ME which window was broken because the technician neglected to forward the information for reorder. SERIOUSLY??? Apparently my replacement window will not be ordered until I take the time to gather information and call them back. Basically doing THEIR JOB !! Im disappointed!!

Shower UpgradeWe needed our small shower upgraded from a one-piece fiberglass to a more modern material. Salesman worked with us to find a quality material to fit our budget. Project was completed in a timely manner with excellent product and workmanship.

We had two old showers that needed updating and plumbing that needed to be replaced. They took care of everything and were respectful of our home, careful not to damage anything, and worked quickly and efficiently arriving when they said they would and finishing early! At every step of the process, they listened to what we wanted and did everything they could to make sure we were happy with the final product. We are very pleased and would recommend them.

Our sales man was, well, a typical salesman. I did not appreciate that he took charge in my home & told me what was going to happen, rather than asking me what I wanted & was kind of brass. However, he did get us what we wanted & made sure to get us the best deals they had. The windows took 2 weeks longer to be made than the longest time frame they gave us. Which meant that they then had to wait to be installed because it was too cold by that point. Once they came, though, the man installed them within the day. It made me nervous having only 1 installer, & Im sure he could have very much used the help of another person, but he got it done. He was careful of my kids being around & roped off the area so they knew how close to not get. The company promised no one would use crude language, however the installer did indeed curse multiple times. Im sure these are better quality windows than what Menards or elsewhere offers, but well over double the price. Just some things to keep in mind if considering MCW. We are overall pleased with the end result, though.

My roof needed re-decking, is very steep and its the middle of winter so it was a BIG job. Im so happy with the team that did the work. I had been stressed about the project but as soon as I spoke with Jeff I knew we had the best guy to do the job. In addition to having over 25 years of experience, Jeff and his team were professional, considerate and extremely hard working.During the process, at the end of each day they cleaned up their materials, used a magnet to collect all the rusty nails and removed anything from the yard that could hurt our dogs.Our roof had been leaking so we were anxious about getting it done. These guys worked long hours, well into the evening to get the job done for us. I honestly feel that Jeff and his team did as great of a job on my roof as they would have done on their own home.

Except for the new look in the bathroom, there was little evidence they were here after they finished! As of April 1, 2021, not only is the job not done but now we don’t have a shower at all. No building permits were secured until we involved our plumber. The piping Mad City installed has to be completely redone to be up to code. The cost is just under $1,100. The first 2 people to work on this shower were actually only window installers. We have been trying to reach higher managers in the company but no calls or emails have been returned answered so far. There are MANY other issues, but it would take too long to list them here. Drive down the street and throw your money out the window, or hire Mad City; the end result will be the same.

I would definately recommend this company for windows. From the friendly no pressure salesman to the customer service dept. To the installers that came to my house. I am extremely happy with the quality of the windows and how good of a job the installers did. I got 7 windows replaced in my 121 yr old house and i was expecting it to take 2 days to complete it. The installers showed up at about 945 am and got to work right away. Im not really sure if they stopped to eat lunch but they were finished cleaned up and i signed the final paperwork by 630 that evening. They werent screwing around and worked nonstop the whole time. The guys were proffesional and asked more than once if i had any questions to make sure i was informed. I live in Iowa so the dept. Here in my state is brand new to mad city and they definately left a positive impression on me and believe me i can be critical of poor work.

Called Mad City for a bathroom remodel. They said they could only do the shower. The guy didnt stop talking and when told he needed to finish because I needed to be taken care of, he kept talking. He quoted us $15,000 for just a shower. Said everything we wanted to do couldnt be done. Hes not that knowledgeable as they like to claim about their salesmen because another place quoted us just under $10,000 for a complete remodel. Then after that, my husband received four phone calls in less than an hour trying to get him to commit. He called their corporate office to tell them to send the message out to quit calling and they continued to call. The Madcity crew showed up when they said they would and were done when they estimated they would be done. They cleaned up edverything. The windows look fantastic and I saw how well they sealed everything up. The house is conciderably warmer than with the old windows. We were only looking to get a window repaired. A salesman from MAD CITY came out, he pretty much told us, they cannot just repair one window? OK, we thought this was a waste of time. Well this particular salesman (Ryan) took the time to explain to us the benefit of all new windows, the money we would save on our energy bills, how outdated our windows really were? I mean there is no way we could afford this right? He took the time to do an in-home consultation to show us his product & how much energy we may be losing with our old windows. Then the kicker zero percent financing & no interest for 4 years with a monthly payment of only $360? We could actually afford that!! These were top of the line windows made at the factory. So we took the plunge!! Our windows were recently installed by the MKE remodeling crew from MAD CITY, what nice people. 8 old windows torn out, 8 new windows installed and trimmed out in one day!! They wore masks inside, they removed their shoes, they covered the work areas with plastic, they vacuumed up the mess, we were very impressed!! Do not hesitate to take the plunge, we love our new windows!! Worth the money!!
