Other than the extremely over-inflated prices and the additional $3 surcharge that you pay to the infestation of homeless people that congregate outside and constantly beg you for money......the place aint half bad. $9 for a gallon of expired milk is perfectly reasonable.

This is the go-to grocery in downtown. The prices really arent that unreasonable for not being a supermarket and the service is good. A bit dirty however but not bad. Because there arent any other grocery stores in the area, of course, poor people also go there but so what. They have a little of everything and that is very useful. I have never seen beggars outside.I am grateful that they stay open in the downtown.

This is my go to store in downtown Davenport. Things are reasonably price. Amazing staff who are all very helpful. $0.99 Brisk Tea!! Always cold soda and hot coffee too. You cannot go wrong here!

Dont trust the old reviews. The store got new management and the people that own it and work there now are fantastic. Highly recommend. It is still more of a convenience store than a grocery store but they have a lot larger selection than they used to have.

Prices going up more every day. . bread is old bread. Once an item starts selling good up goes the Prices. Beggars not there so much . mini frosted donuts went from 200 to238. Buy them at grocery store cheaper. Pop gone up. What next

Prices very very very high. Tax on top of groceries. Buys at save u lot marks up very high. Lots of homeless customers begging for money outside and inside of store for you to buy them items yet homeless person really bad in the summer. Homeless even worse in summer time. Be wise and careful ladys always go in twos. Extra careful with purses and wallets. The homeless usually stands outside near the store. Some uses all kinds of family issues for money.

Small convenient grocery store, with a full service deli. An amazing selection of liquor, beer and wine. Deli features a line of no additive, no preservative meats and cheeses. Sandwiches made to order. I stop here and get my lunch and late night snacks.

Decent place. nice if you just need some basics. Liquor, soda, snack s. However the deli with fresh cut meat by the pound is great.

Theyre never open on time, customer service is bad, prices are high, and the atmosphere feels less like a grocery store and more like a second hand headshop. If you plan on using your card, theres a $3 minimum fee.Only thing this place is good for is a quick drunken visit, and even then youre better off going somewhere else.Dont come here if you dont have to.

Wow, this place sucked. Based on other reviews, I was looking forward to visiting a cool little shop to grab some beers and snacks for later in the evening. I was sorely disappointed. There was almost no beer to choose from - a couple mass market domestic brews, and that was it - and it was pretty darn pricey. There was nothing in the deli section to speak of except some tired looking pre-made sandwiches, and the most prominent snacks were some expired convenience store doughnuts.But this wasnt the bad part. The bad part was the jackass working the counter. (Both terms, jackass and working are very kind here.) My friend did buy a pop, and the guy could not have been less friendly, less concerned with customer service, or more annoyed to get off the phone and ring up a purchase. It was really unbelievable.I wanted to like this place; I wish it was likable. I hope they get their act together and turn this into a place worth visiting. The area could use a good shop. This, however, just isnt it.

Convenient good prices great food

Google maps says hours of operation are 24hr a day. Got to the store at 6:50 am on a Thuraday, it was closed, with no posted hours. So when does it open?

Has a lot different things to offer and good customer service. open late in an area where there is nothing else open.

Middle of downtown is its main perk. Cigs, drinks; limited groc. + deli counter.

Central grocery is the only place downtown that is walk able for groceries. The staff is really nice, but it is a little over priced.

Decent for essentials.

Food seems randomly repacked in inappropriate labels at deli counter. Customers were screaming at each other in line with racial slurs and owner seemed not to care.

Great place great people

Lots of books for every age. The service and staff know the books and will see if they can get it for the customer.
