Our experience with Carpetland in Davenport was excellent!!Jason helped us to select the right flooring option for our upstairs. We also decided to replace the carpet in our living room and family room.The materials arrived in a timely fashion. The crew that did that job was outstanding! They removed carpet from 4 bedrooms, closets and hallway and replaced with a durable floor that resembles hardwood - WE LOVE IT!During the week-long installation process, Jason called every day to check progress and to see how things were going. I went in for hardwood flooring, and came in several times--initially just to get ideas, then a few times to bring home samples, then to order. Every salesperson I talked to was friendly. We just had the most relaxed and successful carpeting and flooring consult with Ashley. She listened to what we were looking for and nailed both the carpet choice and laminate choice first try. I just felt the public should be aware if this salesman is still there and rubs them wrong as well, dont rely on the secretary to help you out...ask for a manager or seek out a diff salesman. The owner will want to know about it to help prevent such an occurrence from happening again.I was impressed the owner reached out. Shows they will not tolerate such scenarios. Installation of our vinyl plank floors just finished up today (05/11/17) and I have to say I could not be happier! Our sales rep took the time to show us options in what we thought we wanted, but then he suggested that we look at what was becoming more popular over the laminate flooring. As he explained it to us, it was clear that he was knowledgeable in the subject matter. Surprisingly for a person like myself who shops around for the best price and selection, I was very pleased with both at Carpetland. In fact, I did the almost unheard of thing in 40 years of marriage- I purchased a flooring that same trip! Dave walked me through the various finance options again with knowledge. I appreciated his professionalism and at no point did I feel I was being pressured for a sale. KUDOS! In fact it was such a pleasant experience, we added a job to our list and went back to visit Dave again to see about making another purchase!

This is a great place to go to shop for carpet if they got a really good sale on otherwise you can be a little bit expensive. We caught them on a free installation deal and it was amazing. The salesperson was completely low pressure very good experience. when the installer came he was super fast super friendly and did really good work.

I have used Carpetland many times for my rental properties. They are fair priced, knowledgeable, and I enjoy the relationship. The installers are always tidy and do a great job. I will choose them for my own home when I build.

Purchased new carpet and LVT tile from Tom Keck. Was helpful and knowledgeable about the product. Would recommend him to anyone. The carpet installation by (Eric) was excellent! very hard working individual and made sure we were happy with the final install (5-Stars). The LVT install, lets say that Matt wont be welcome in my house again. Showed up late, then spent 35 minutes on the phone in my front yard, while his co-part carried in all the materials and tools. After actually working for 20 minutes he left to go to his moms house and the bank (NOT KIDDING). Was gone for about 2 hrs. Once he returned, ate lunch and worked for about 30 minutes and then left for the rest of the day, never returned. The gentleman that was with him pretty much did all the work and did a really good job! He did mention several times that Matt does this to him on a daily/weekly basis. Not sure why someone would work with someone like this? Other than the LVT tile install, my experience with Carpetland was very good and will buy from them again.

I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to do so about my experience with Carpetland! I was fortunate to win the $1000 Carpetland Seeepstakes in July of this year. I was so pleased because I needed new carpets. Well even with the sweepstakes winning it would have been way past my budget to get the carpet. I settled on new flooring for my bathroom and front entrance . It of course ended up costing me money but it was finished finally yesterday(11/8/2018). I can’t say enough about the installer and the beautiful finished product. I am just do pleased with the end result! It was a long process but it turned into a good thing.!!!

After having our kitchen floor installed as a wedding gift from our parents, my husband and I couldnt be any happier. So, after we had some flooding in our basement in 2013, we called Carpetland to replace our basement flooring. They were extremely fast workers and left out basement spotless after they were finished! I was very impressed with the quality of the work. If we have any flooring needs in the future, we will definitely be calling Carpetland again!

Quality of carpet is very good. But the prices are very high. Local lumber yard up the street has carpet that compares but 50 % less.

I recently had a water damage issue on half my basement. I called Carpetland, Davenport, and was greeted by a great gentleman by the name of David Behal. He invited my wife and I to the store and we went thru a number of flooring and some carpet to replace what was in our stairs. We decided against carpeting for the TV room and went with some wood looking planks and a nice carpet for the stairs that would match our new flooring. The crew with the guidance of David, came to our house to install the plank flooring and the carpet. They showed up around 9:30am and were done around 1:00pm. Not only was the price point for both items absolutely acceptable, but the quality of the carpet and the planking were unbelieveable. If we have friends who are in need of flooring needs, rest assured we will highly recommend your products, service, and installation reliability. Carpetland has an awesome showroom with so many choices! Thats why its so beneficial to have a professional like Dave Behal to help figure out what the best fit is.

Horrible nightmare experience had hardwood flooring installed in three rooms. Immediately after installation noticed numerous spots, chips and even cracked boards. Installer was sent back out and touched up over 50 spots with a marker. Spots and more cracked boards kept appearing, manager came to home and tried to tell us it was the “rustic” look and that we were not “hardwood” people since we didn’t want to spend our nights using a marker touching up spots and were troubled by our socks getting caught on cracked boards. Shaw floors was then contacted and sent inspectors out who determined it was a defective floor but would never tell us why. Shaw floors after 5 months, not Carpetland reimbursed us for the floor but now we are left with the expense of thousands of dollars to have this flooring removed, have to miss work, and board our pets again not to mention we had a new kitchen installed so the flooring could go under the new cabinets which will never be able to be done again. Why would supposedly professional installers ever install chipped or cracked boards, not to mention that they knocked a hole in our wall, tore off woodwork that they were not to remove at all and only half way place back plus numerous other issues. Carpetland, Shaw floors paid for your mistake on installing a defective floor, why don’t you pay the thousands to have it removed, this was supposed to be my forever floor and has caused nothing but stress for the last six months.

Carpetland in Sterling, IL, did all the flooring in my house. Allen Przysucha helped me with the whole process. He helped me pick the right flooring for my entire home. We used Hickory hardwood throughout the kitchen, formal living room, and dining room. We used duraceramic in the office and bathroom downstairs and upstairs. We did a beautiful Berber carpet in the family room. All the bedrooms were done with a plush, neutral carpet. We totally gutted the master bathroom and put in a new tile shower with decorative mosaic and custom built glass doors. The final product looked as if it could be in Better Homes and Gardens Magazine. Allen was good at color schemes. He was honest, committed, informative, helpful, and readily available for questions. He backed his product and was reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Carpetland in Sterling and Allen Przysucha to assist you with your flooring needs. They are exemplary and the REAL DEAL!
