When purchasing my car, my salesman was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when it came to helping me pick the right car. Although I had an idea of what kind I wanted he took the time to explain the options that were available within the different models. He was very easy to work with and I never felt pressured to make a decision. When it came to the financing part, I was very pleased with Eric. Eric took the time to explain every document I was signing and had no issues answering any questions I had. Both men were very professional and had no problem making me feel comfortable and confident in the purchase I was making. When it comes to the customer service once the sale is done, its completely different. Emails I send get no reply even after sending multiple ones. I had to end up sending a text which got a reply but then shortly after, those got no reply as well. I hate to have to reach out to my salesman but when Im told one thing and then experience something totally different, my confidents in the sales team is diminished.

Their service department deserves more than 5 stars. Leesha Brown, the Service Consultant, went above and beyond what could be expected. We were traveling from PA to Oregon and experienced a mechanical breakdown on our RV. Contacted the nearest Mercedes Benz dealership’s service department and Leesha Brown quickly rectified our situation. First she scheduled our RV to be looked at as soon as we got it to the dealership. Knowing that we were traveling with our 2 large dogs, she also recommended some pet friendly hotels and places to eat. Our RV required a major repair. One of the parts that needed replacing could have taken 3 weeks to get due to the COVID shortages of auto parts. Leesha was able to find the part as it was being shipped to another dealer and have it rerouted to their dealership. There were only 122 of the parts needed in the country. She called us every day to give us an update on the situation. Knowing that we were very anxious, she even told us to call her on her day off if we needed anything. We were back on the road within 3 business days when it could have easily been 3 plus weeks. She made us feel so reassured every step of the way. Our RV was completed and ready to be picked up on her day off. Leesha found out what time we were picking it up and met us to say goodbye. I asked her if I could take a photo of her to remember her hospitality, because it was so unexpected to be treated so this well, especially since we may never come this way again. She agreed to a photo even though she was wearing her gym clothes! Leesha’s commitment and compassion went above and beyond anything we could have expected. Our only regret is that we don’t live closer (781.5 miles from our home) because we would be a Quad City customer for life.

I don’t even know where to begin...i was completely blown away by Smart Luxury in Davenport. I have never received such amazing, compassionate, friendly & helpful service anywhere..let alone buying a vehicle (which can be stressful) but these guys were incredible & I’m not saying that lightly & made this such an enjoyable and memorable experience. Norm Merrill was our salesman & I’m pretty sure the man was made for this job because he was so awesome to work with, such a great personality & does an incredible job. My husband & I won’t be buying any other vehicles unless it’s from him and Smart Luxury. Brice Peters, the general sales manager...where do I begin...what an unbelievably amazing, compassionate human being he is. They don’t make people like him..especially in the car business & he is a rare man but I’m so grateful for him and all he did to get us in our dream vehicle. I have never had a bad experience with the service department @ Smart Luxury Motors. Jessi Z takes the time to talk to you and addresses your concerns to make sure everything is up to your standards. During this whole pandemic, she has been great with the safety precautions that Smart has put in place and has made me feel very safe being in her presence. The service department makes it a point to keep the appropriate distance and they also make sure they have their masks on at all times! Best service advisor and department EVER!!!! Highly recommend!!!

Great experience with Smart Luxury, and specifically, our salesman Michael Schneidermann! Michael was such a professional, but also down to Earth where you felt like you were working with a friend. He took excellent care of us, helped us through some interesting moments (Hurricane Iowa 2020) and worked very hard to take care of us. Even the final paperwork was made easy thanks to Brice Peters. Extra attention was paid to our 4 year old to keep her happy and make her feel special. All in all a wonderful car buying/leasing experience. Thank you very much to Michael and Brice!

I did not want to buy a new car and then had some bad experiences at other dealerships and was a difficult buyer for a sales person Im sure. I worked with Stephanie - she was amazing!!! She ensured I felt good about my purchase, did not play any games and I felt she genuinely cares and loves her job. She went the extra mile to make sure I was happy and made the process enjoyable. Both nights we were there until after closing and she never rushed us, but actually suggested we drive the cars we were looking at one more time. I cant recommend Stephanie and Luxury motors enough, and I love my car!

First time at the new Smart VW to have my oil changed in our VW. Very welcoming upon arrival. They stated it would be about an hour wait time. Upon completion they would go over any other needs or issues which they did. Very nice waiting areas to help with social distancing during this time.

I HOPE THIS WAS A FLUKE.. BUT- We have spent well over $30k on a couple used vehicles and i went tonight to see some used SUVs, when I walked in (dressed in jeans and a older hoodie) i was ignored, then when i DID get someone’s attention the salesperson didn’t really give me the time of day! I was told to look online at inventory! No actual help! Did not get any of my information to further help me! I think i will find a $18-25k used suv elsewhere! Where they treat folks with dignity and not judgment.

I purchased a 2020 Tiguan. Everything was great and it was the best experience I had with purchasing a car from a dealership...until I left. I was offered their deal for the last week of June, which was 0% APR for 72 months and 4 MONTHS deferred payments (proof is in my email). Found out my first payment was due August, which was not the deferred date that I was offered. So they discussed this offer but then had me sign a contract that did not have that offer. Saying that the problem was because they sent me across the street to Toyota to do the signing of all papers and contracts. Toyota guy was not aware of the offer, resulting in me not getting it. I was sent over to Toyota so that it would be a faster transaction, as I was told I would have been there until midnight... I was in no hurry of any kind, so it was their decision to have me go next door, I would have waited until 5am if I needed to in order for me to get the offer I was told I was getting!When I called to get this all figured out, they talked with Volkswagen Financial in Illinois and they said they couldnt do anything about it since that deal is no longer valid and I had signed a contract (as I was under the impression I was signing the contract they discussed with me)... EVEN THOUGH THERE IS PROOF THAT I PURCHASED DURING THAT TIME THE OFFER WAS VALID! I purchased the vehicle earlier than planned because of this offer. It would have worked out perfectly as I am getting married this October and my first payment would be right after my wedding. They offered me a $600 car wash and coating to make up for it. I later called back and said that wasnt going to cut it, so they offered to make my first payment... fine, Im just over it. August 6th, the due date... log in to my account and see that there have been no payments made. They supposedly are sending the check early next week and I wont be getting a late fee or any dings to my credit, but I dont really know if I can believe them. I also had to contact them because it had been 40 days and the Treasurers office had still not received my title transfer from this dealership, so I had to call them about it and they said that they were just mailing it that evening with overnight shipping.This experience has really just left a foul taste in my mouth. I am paying for my own wedding as I do not have parents. 2020 has been a rough year for everyone, especially those trying to plan a wedding. Now to add even more unneccesary stress.

Go see Brian if you are in the market for a new or used car.The whole team in the building was also pleasant and made you feel welcome.
