We just traveled nearly 600 miles to Klemme Klassic Kars in Davenport, Iowa to look at a car we saw on their website. Without seeing the car in person we were skeptical as to whether the trip would be worthwhile. After meeting with Kraig Klemme and seeing the car for the first time, we were elated to find that the car was in better shape than we even expected it to be. We soon learned that the Klemme family are honest, decent people with nothing to hide. No surprises. What a great experience. Its nice to know there are still people in this world that treat you right!

While I was looking for a 69 camaro my wife and I looked at over 600 cars on the Internet, made hundreds of phone calls, sent hundreds of emails, and made some very disappointing road trips. And discovered many suspected scams. Then I seen Kraig Klemmes ad. Kraig was the most honest and Knowledgeable experience we had in our search. His car was exactly what he said it was and was fairly priced. He couldnt have been more Accommodating. We traveled 750 miles to make our purchase and was not disappointed. We love our car and will definitely buy from Klemme klassic kars again if they have what were looking for. Thank you Kraig for helping my dream come true! Wish we we could give you 10 stars! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I live in California and I bought a 1967 Nova SS 327 4speed for $28,000.00 The car looks great. As I peruse the website all of the cars look great, in fact there’s an example of my car for sale almost exactly down to the color. It’s not a true 118 car just the regular Nova but beyond that it’s the same car. The fifth time I drove it the steering box failed and I had it towed to Jack L. Hunt classic car garage about six blocks from my house. At which point I thought they would order a steering box and put it in and I’ll be on my way. Well, that’s not what happened. When they were looking at the car they noticed that the clutch rod was rubbing a hole in the oil filter and suggested a safety inspection. I agreed even though it was $440 mostly because of the worried look on his face. Nine pages of failures later he called it the worst car he’d ever seen. The entire bottom of the car was a complete wreck. Before I purchased the car I had it inspected by Lemon Square by a trained professional who gave it a C+ good daily driver inspection rating. Now that’s pretty good for a $28,000 car. He was either in collusion with this dealership or he never bothered looking under the car. I specifically asked him to look for rust and the entire bottom of the car is rusted out. I would have never bought it in 1 million years had he told me there was any rust on the bottom of the car. I had turned down four other Nova’s which I had inspected for that very reason. I told Mr. Klemme straight up that I bought this car to drive. That I was going to drive it to Los Angeles and across the country, maybe one day. I asked him would this car make it to Los Angeles? Could I drive this car every day and would it be OK? He answered without hesitation, ”Absolutely, this is a great car”. There is a monster cable (which is home speaker wire) being used as a ground cable for the battery. The brakes pads and shoes are in big chunky pieces. I have a video that I’d be happy to copy and send to whoever would like to see it. The owner of the dealership I took it to, the garage, Jack L Hunt, who is a third-generation Classic car dealer, did the inspection and narration himself. He told me I had to return it but I couldn’t. I tried...I tried many different ways and it just was never going to happen so I gave up. I’m fairly sure they sell these cars only out of state and as far away as possible so returning them is problematic. Jack told me this was a fairly common scam and it wasn’t my fault. They make the top of the car the interior and the engine bay,the drivetrain and the wheels just looks spectacular and get them running well enough to go on a test drive and for a few weeks driving before they collapse. By that time you own it. There is nothing you can do about it. Do not buy a car from this dealership you will regret it for the rest of your life and if it’s your dream car like this was for me it will make you hate your dream car which is pretty horrible. I’ve been making $503 payments on this car for over two years and I’ve driven it five times and I could’ve died any of those times because the steering box was barely holding together. They didn’t bother finishing the car they just jammed the motor in and sold it with no seatbelts. The bottom the car has such huge holes in it that you can put your fist through one of the floorboard holes right into the carpet. He had the entire car undercoated so it it was a monotone It’s really hard to tell where there were issues atl. I only had photographs so it was hard to see anything at all, that’s why I hired an inspector. You should always go look at your call yourself, the inspectors are worthless, obviously. Lemon Squad refunded my money with their apologies but I’m out $28,000 I spent $28,000 plus another $5000 in taxes and registration for California. That is $33,000 on a car not worth $3,800. These people are the worst kind of grifters. Never buy anything from them. NEVER EVER buy anything from this horrible, horrible people.

Bad customer service. I walked in and a gentleman was on the phone in his office, so I proceeded to the showroom. I waited for help in the showroom for about 10 mins as a other individual peaked his head in but never said anything. I was actually extremely interested in a 72 Chevelle they had but if their customer service is anything like the inventory....no thanks. As I walked out 3 guys were in the office smoking and talking. I said thanks and they replied thats is for coming in. They must not be interested in selling cars.
