Highly recommend!! Arman Khan was my sales consultant and he did amazing! He was so patient with me the entire time and it was definitely a lengthy process due to me not having good credit and I’ve never leased a car before. Never once did I feel judged upon my credit or anything, and as soon as I met with him I felt welcomed. He definitely did everything he could in his power to get me to drive off with a car that day as I did! Even after I got my car he called the next day to see how I was doing with the car and I love it! Can’t wait to come back in the future for another vehicle. So far so good. It did take several visits to get our monthly payments figured out but they filled up our gas twice for this. The sales guy was very friendly and honest which was awesome. During the days we had our van before figuring up payments and signing papers, we figured out the air didnt work and one window stopped working but they are getting that fixed along with the recall thankfully and in my own town so I dont have to drive back out! Hopefully it ends up being a good car.... The payments are a little high but I guess everything has been going up so thats that.

Arman deserves more than 5 stars with his genuine personality! He got me into the vehicle I wanted from another store and even entertained me when I wanted to drive another, just to be sure. Ethan was fantastic as well, helping us learn all of the new features of our truck. Overall, this location is relaxed and friendly.

After being denied 12 times at other dealerships I finally got a car. Now I know your probably thinking bad credit no credit situations, but no! I have 700 credit score and established credit I just never took a loan for a car out which really hung things up. So after talking with Alex down there at McGrath he was able to litteraly hit every criteria I had, a sun/moon roof, a chrysler 300s, and for a reasonable price to keep me around 500 dollars a month payment. Oh boy did he deliver !!!! 😳 I was shook no cap! After spending over a week calling and talking Alex made it the easiest process that only took 2 days. The first to get the paperwork started and the second to get me driving home since he went above and beyond he had to get this car delivered in under 24 hrs 😁❤. He gave me a great deal and an even better experience.

If I could give ZERO stars I would! The service department is a freaking joke!!! Under qualified people.. I could have fixed it myself and probably should have. After a week of no contact my car still isnt where it should be! Calling them is basically just talking to yourself. And dont get me started on the rude girl who answers the phone or should i say hangs up on people... Seriously not happy!!! McGrath sucks!

If you were unfortunately able to find your absolute DREAM car at this specific location I would suggest watching multiple videos on ways to inspect a used car bumper to bumper before you buy, along with your own diagnostic reader to be extra safe, and get pre approved by your bank before even saying Hi to anyone. With that said every worker in the service department NEEDS to be reeducated on how to fix and diagnose cars, and the ability to communicate with customers. They have all adopted the business practice of good enough.I was naive to let the service department have my car for over a month with multiple empty promises and the problem was STILL not fixed. It does not matter what needed to be fixed what matters is the lack of communication, unprofessionalism, and fake virtuousness throughout the process.As a consumer in the free market I felt obligated to let others know of headache business practices especially in current times I would not want Mcgrath auto to be another strain on your daily life. I do believe Mcgrath auto has the capacity to change their reputation around and be a force to reckon with in the used car industry in Davenport, IA, but until then be cautions on where you spend your time and money.Mcgrath DO NOT respond there is nothing else I need or want to hear from you guys.

After I turned down a car because of hitch, they called and told me they had another car in my price range. They had taken the hitch off and still wanted the same price. It smoothly, but had nothing for a passing gear. Familiar with this brand and this model and that shouldnt have been the way it should handle. Left and wouldnt recommend them.

I took my 2011 Ultra in to have it tuned. All I can say is WOW, with Ron helping me get set up with Anthony doing a dyna on my bike. It has Never run this great. I have added pipes, cams, and air cleaner and Anthony got it pulling over 100hp and runs smooth as silk. Cant say enough about my experience there. Thank you Ron and Anthony!!

My experience at McGrath could not have been more different than any experience I’ve had car buying, because of my salesman, Alex Stoddard. He was very generous with his time, and thorough throughout the process. We found the perfect car for my family’s needs, and nearly everything I’d hoped for when I started this journey. I would recommend Alex and McGrath to anyone who is looking for a car, I cannot praise his customer service enough. He truly went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of.

Purchase took two months to complete and we are still not sure if its even finalized as I havent even received a welcome package from the lender yet We requested our money back multiple k down payment but that was a solid NO One week after purchase all the lights came on the dash and we havent seen the car since. When we call the dealership they say they are still waiting for parts. BUY HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Let me first say, my complaint is only with Josh Whipple and whomever is in the service department  that was supposed to fix my vehicle.I purchased an suv from this location. As soon I drove it off the lot, it immediately had issues. I had a warranty so I returned it. Within an hour of me picking it up the second time, it had the same issue, so I returned again. At the point of me picking up the vehicle a third time, they had it for a total of 43 consecutive days since the day I purchased it, and yet again, the problem was still there. Each of the three times they had it, the problem was not fixed and actually worsened. My warranty covered the transmission,  and I was told the transmission was replaced twice, however no one would provide me proof. The car was never fixed so I have my doubts. Ultimately I returned the vehicle for a full refund. I do not recommend this place, solely for my experience with Josh Whipple and the service department. Josh Whipple lacks communication skills and professional. If he had provided me with good customer service, this experience would have been a little less stressful. However, he gave me incredibly bad turn around times, and continuously gave me inaccurate information, and he constantly tried to pass the buck onto other people. He was incredibly unprofessional in my opinion. Furthermore, the warranty they offer is no good if the problem never gets fixed after having a vehicle for 43 days. Heed my caution before buying from here.

I dont know what its like to buy a vehicle there, but it definitely not the place to sell one.I bought a new truck and was planning on selling my old one myself. With all of these dealers wanting to buy vehicles I thought that I would find out what they were willing to pay. I realised that I would get less than selling it myself.I had already checked at several dealers and the lowest offer that I had received was $16,775. McGraths offer was $13,000.. I ended up selling it to Carvanna for $19,000.

Dealer Failed to provide correct power of attorney docs to register the vehicle which was sold in February . Its mid May now. Car is subject to impound if driven.I am not a complainer, but I need to drive to work LEGALLY.Please resolve and issue a new Temp Tag today. (made this request 3x already without response by Josh Whipple).

I was in desperate need of a new vehicle as my last car started making a bad knocking sound in the engine. After looking around online at vehicles I found one that I liked and figured would be in my price range payment wise. When I got there I met with Pete and let him know that I seen a car on there site that i wanted to check out. Come to find out the car was actually at one other there other stores. They was kind enough to drive it an hour away to there davenport location where I was. Did a quick test drive and before we even left the parking lot made the decision that I wanted to try and get it. For going in not even knowing if you are even going to qualify for a auto loan for the amount and no down payment. they got me an amazing deal. I bought my latest car from here. As far as locations go it doesnt get any better. Across from the mall to the west and to the east is Atomic. Very busy. The sales man I dealt with was Jordan. Great guy and great salesman. He greated me as soon as I came in the building. On Friday I wasnt sure which car I wanted to buy so we spent the day trying to figure that out. It was a rainy miserable day out but he never complained about having to be in the weather as we ran over to the next car. When closing time approached they loaned me a 2017 Buick Regal over the weekend. Monday morning I tried out a 17 Lacrosse Essence and was sold on it almost immediately. Unfortunately here was the down side. ( Not there fault) financing takes forever. Took me three hours but they ( both the finance guy and Jordan my salesman) were sympathetic about it.If they could have made it better they would have. The only real complaint I have is that they are a victim of there own success. What I mean by that is when a dealership sells alot of cars they have alot of cars to detail which means the cleaning isnt the best. I finished the detailing myself when I got the car home finally. All things considered if you want a great used car for a good price go here. I will go back.

Staff is very friendly, but I have had the worst experience when it comes to communication with the finance department after purchasing the vehicle. I continue to get charged for a maintenance plan that I officially cancelled 2 months ago (though tried cancelling 3 months ago, but would never get a call back). I have been unable to use it at all due to moving to a different state in September. Frustrated is an understatement. They claim my money that I have paid since I havent been able to use it (almost $900) will be taken off what I owe on my loan, but I wont believe it until I see it. My suggestion is to just say no to any of the maintenance plans they offer and save yourself a headache.--- Update: After digging a little deeper into my contract and getting through to Kurt Ossman, We figured out what was going on and I was able to get further explanation into what I was actually being charged for. He took the time to answer all my questions and everything was resolved. Thanks for the help!

Sold the vehicle to them outright, handed over the vehicle & title. The local office could not issue a check on the spot and said, “we have been around for 70 years so trust us.” The check was supposed to only take 3 to 4 days to receive. 10 days later still no check and a complete run around when calling the dealership. What a joke...don’t waste your time!

I bought a 2012 Chevy equinox about 2 weeks ago. The service I received was amazing! Everything was pretty much set up before getting to the dealership. When I got there they had the car all ready for me to test drive. They took the time to answer all of my question, and I had a lot! They made sure my gas tank was full. I highly recommend visiting DAVENPORT used car superstore to find your next vehicle!!

Well the guy who supposedly sold me the car wasnt really their, then I delt with someone else and he was nice and funny. When I drove the car everything seemed fine and when we got out I asked specifically if the tires was bald. No one answered me so then I asked the manager and he said oh the car is certified with out looking. Then 4 weeks after getting the car I had my father look at my tired(I barely drove the car after I got it) their were shSlashes in my tire, chunks of tire missing so we called mcgrath and they took 2 days to get ahold of us to tell us my car tires were marked certified. Their was no way it was certified... I will never purchase a car from mcgrath again. Because I had to pay 900 for new tires when they were so bad they should have been replaced.

I was reached out to immediately about the vehicle I was interested in, the conversation dropped until the next day which was understandable, but he followed up with information on the title and never answered my follow up questions. I then got a follow up text over a week later. I have never been so disappointed in the lack of communication. The fact of the time line, the fact that I was never called or professionally reached out to other than text message was not acceptable. I’m so glad I went with Green Ford, they had top notch service and didn’t leave me on read continuously. If you like being ghosted this is a great company.

Drove 45 minutes to see a van and they did not have the courtesy to tell us several things were wrong with it. Yes, it was used. Yes, used cars are not perfect. But I would consider heat and a/c basic things that should be operating. You need defrost to safely drive during certain times of the year.Aside from not having heat/ac, no defrost, the horn also didnt work, fuses were missing, and the van has been junk overall.We were in a rush to get my wife something safer to drive so we rushed into this and we wish we didnt now.We will definitely not return here.The managers automatic and generic responses to these reviews are also annoying.He claims to be reaching out to people, but has yet to reach out to us.Heres the response Ill get:We appreciate your feedback and definitely take it very seriously. Test drove 2 2016 Kia Souls one was a stick other wasnt. And the price between the 2 was about $5000. But when it came down to terms in payments they were only $30. Dollars apart in payment price. I questioned them and then left. Wasnt a good experience for me as I wasted my time with a bunch of crooked salesmen!

I put 3500 down on a jeep 01/19/21 that battery needed to be switch out for a new one so they gave me a loaner car instead just pick the jeep up 01/26/21 and just 01/27/21 my car didn’t even start so I’m wonder did they just charge it instead of replacing it knowing it was bad to began with.. NO WHERE ON PAPERWORK DO IT SAYNO REFUND AND THEY ARE NOT TRYNA TO GIVE MY MONEY BACK I WOULDNT RECOMMEND NO ONE TO GO TO THEM ESPECIALLY THE MCGRATH IN DAVENPORT IOWA!!!

You cannot get better customer service anywhere. I went in alone and felt absolutely comfortable, informed and included in the decision making and financial aspects. I felt in control and confident about my service. Andrew was relaxed, informative and helpful. Ethan made the financial portion comfortable and I felt like her understood where I needed to be with payments. At no point did they make me feel intimidated as a woman purchasing car alone. This is the only dealership that I will work with moving forward.

Giving this a two star per the customer service following buying a car. Customer service before you buy is great and I’d give it a 4-5 star. Purchased my car in Nov and have called many times to have something fixed and every time the individual that I would like to speak with is “not at his desk.” Finally spoke to the general manager in person and he personally said he was going to look into it and set up an appointment at the local Jeep dealer to have it looked at and still have not heard from him either. I called multiple times for several weeks asking for him and was told they were leaving the message with him and he would get back to me. Another time I was there in person I spoke to the person who sold me my vehicle and he stated he could see the issue was not resolved, ok then why would you not follow up, still have not received one call back.

I cannot say enough good things about Derek and Nick. They were very easy to work with and made sure we were happy with the vehicle, financing, and all the other major decisions we had to make. Car buying experience was not a good one. I bought a vehicle that they claimed was inspected and safe to drive. I was told they cant sell unsafe vehicles. It had so many issues in the beginning; missing head lights, turn signal bulbs, wheel bearing was bad. I had to fix the front brakes only 2 weeks after I had it, went downhill from there. The windows didn’t work properly so I fixed that myself.Service dept looked at it and found major issues with transmission and engine. And also struts, sway bar links, water pump, etc. They had my vehicle for over 2 months and the transmission and engine were never repaired. It had to be sent to another location to be inspected again. I was told from Cedar Rapids there is a transmission slip issue but McGrath was not going to fix it. In the 2 months I waited for my vehicle status, I received the run around. Now I am stuck paying on a car loan and somehow figure out how pay for these repairs.Their vehicles are overpriced. And if you are willing to spend over $5,000 on an extensive list of repairs for a vehicle you only had for under 3 months and if you want your credit report ran more than 8 times, then this is the place to go. Stay away, especially if you are a single mother with a special needs child. This is an utter disgrace to treat me like this and sell vehicles with costly repairs.

The whole team that I worked with in Davenport was wonderful from start to finish. The sales manager, Josh was terrific to work and talk with, and my sales consultant Derrick Klauer was terrific and did a wonderful job in helping and getting the vehicle brought down for me to work with. Trevor in the financing department locking doing the little extra to find better rates and terms for the vehicle as well.Couldnt have asked for a better way to purchase a vehicle.

Purchased my second car from them yesterday and had another good experience. Alex was great. I would recommend them for quality used vehicles.

I went to the Davenport location today and the gentleman that’s was suppose to help me was busy so a another gentleman helped me gave him my information he took almost 15 mins to finish running my credit then was very insulting asking me to have rent a center never had that before this was second time getting a car . So we proceeded to wait he comes back tells me that I am going need 2,000 more of down payment that’s not including my trade in or my down payment so I was very furious because I waste time coming there when I should’ve went back to my Jeff’s car corner and secondly he was going show me a car that was in Cedar Rapids but didn’t know anything about the car just the model and year . NOPE I WILL NOT BE GETTING CAR FOR THEM

I purchased a 2017 Ford Escape at the end of March beginning of April Ihad it 3 weeks and the motor blew up and now you have had it over a month and i am getting no help or information from anyone there as to if it is being fixed or not i was told it is all covered by the warranty and none of it will cost me anything yet no response or answers from anyone.

I have had a similar experience as many others who have given this store a one star rating. Bought my car at the beginning of October 2019 and have had nothing but problems ever since. Sure this place has friendly employees and give great service, except when you have the misfortune of buying a car that turns out to cost the company more money than they put in, leaving them with little to no profit. It is funny how they tell the consumer if they have problems after a warranty expires that you cant predict car issues. BUT when it is on the opposite shoe and it is within their 2000 mile warranty they gave me and they still did not fix my issues, within the warranty, that is just fraud.I drove from Illinois to this place due to the great reviews I had seen and heard, but when I bought the car, I had to bring it back 5 times within the first month due to one problem after another. I did complain, and I was very nice considering, and the store manager at the time promised a gift card of $150 to reimburse me for my gas. Except it was months later, I never saw it, had to contact one of the head managers in Cedar Rapids, then I finally saw my money. Problem was I had other issues come up within the 2000 mile warranty they refused to fix, telling me they couldnt figure out what was wrong with my car, except went to a mechanic shop in Illinois and that mechanic knew what was wrong immediately. I even sent the estimate to McGrath telling them I wanted reimbursed since the car was under warranty but they completely ignored that email and I have never heard back from them since.The things that were wrong with my car were safety issues that I couldnt afford to fix since I was making a big car payment for this car and I had to drive with it, when I drove over 100 miles to work every day and back until I could gradually fix the car, piece by piece. I am still to this day having issues with this car. Pretty bad when the mechanic I use in Illinois knows me on a first name basis now.Also, I wanted to verify what I saw another write in a review on this place. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU ALLOW THEM TO RUN YOUR CREDIT FOR A VEHICLE. I had been working hard to get my credit back up to get a car, told them this, and they proceed to run a hard credit with a lot of different banks! That seriously caused my credit score to go back down and I now have all these credit inquires on my credit report!!

If youve got sub-par credit and are in a bind, this place will work with you and get you into a vehicle!Over the weekend I was the victim of a hit and run accident at the hands of a drunk, uninsured driver, leaving me carless and lost. I went here upon recommendation from a friend, and I got into a 2 year old car with less than 9k miles.Alex was my salesman and the guy was just the best. Great conversation and personality, felt like I was chumming it up with a friend the whole time. 10/10 would recommend anyone looking for a new set of wheels to go see him.

Had a great buying experience working with Nick! He is going to be very honest with you about your vehicle Which is what you want! I searched the QC area for a used truck and nothing compared to the amount of trucks these guys have. If they didnt have it they would get it! Awesome group of guys to buy from. Was a little rocky at first, but the sales manager was great and got everything fixed for us. Their finance guy was great to work with as well.

Absolutely terrible experience. Drove 2 hours down to Dubuque to test drive a CRV. When we got there the battery was dead, and every light on the dash was lit up (after being promised this car was in perfect shape). The sales rep promised us a new battery and to take care of everything before we left the lot. Well we bought the vehicle, as we sign all the paper work the car was suppose to be getting all issues fixed. When we got out from signing the paperwork (2 hours later) they let us know that none of the repairs were completed. ZERO, SO WE PAID 25K FOR A CAR THAT DIDNT EVEN START. Have called them several times to see how they are going to compensate us for having to go an entire week with a new vehicle sitting dormant in our driveway that we just paid 25K for. No call back. Stay as far away from this place as possible.

Derrick an Ethan went above and beyond to help us get a great used vehicle. They even brought two cars down from another lot. They were very kind, thoughtful an extremely helpful. Never felt pressured either. They even stayed open late to allow us time to finish paperwork. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. They worked with my hubby’s crazy hours and our challenging circumstances and still got us a deal.

So far so good I think ;) Berto & Josh are very helpful. Still waiting to see how a couple issues Ive presented them with are handled and will update as we go. Im hopeful the communication stays open and my car is fixed in a timely manner.
