I love this store. I was visiting from another state and we went by here because we needed to get a few things but I was really surprised because they had a big sale going. And I took advantage. It was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I recommend this store if your in the area.

Good book selection. Cashier was a bit pushy about joining membership. Dislike that they offer you to join a magazine subscription without telling you. They just say you get to pick 3 free magazines to sign up for. Luckily I asked questions which led me to find out Id later have to cancel or pay for all 3 subscriptions. Thats why I gave 3 stars. Dont be shady!!

Purchase a children’s level two reading book National Geographic, brought the book home and realized it was in Spanish. About a week later I came into the store in Davenport Iowa and asked to exchange it out for the same exact book, but in English version. The manager Jude told me I was unable to exchange it out for an English version, because I had no receipt. I understand policy, but I was exchanging it out for the same exact book but in a language my child can read. Jude should not be the manager, because he cannot use common sense to make a decision In regards to customer service. I will not be shopping there again.

Has the best selection of Bargain Books in town, as well as new releases. T-shirts and fan merchandise if you like that kind of thing.

Ive been going here for years, even when it was Borders. Im glad theres more than just Barnes and Noble in the Quad Cities. This store has a good selection of books and some neat gift ideas for people who maybe arent completely into books. In the age of Amazon, I still prefer actually going into a store to do my book shopping.

What a fabulous place! Wife purchased a large number of blue ray movies and our son found a fantastic Lego set which was priced cheaper than what several of the larger big box retailers had advertised it for. The gentleman who checked us out was very friendly. Awesome customer service. We will definately return!

I ordered a book on sep 16th, I just got it today. 16 days is way too long to have something delivered within the United States. And nothing was done to help make this situation better by the company. The book cover also has a rip.

Books-A-Million is a great place to finds books, games, gifts, and coffee. Now that they have added used books, it’s hard not to find something that appeals to you at a great price! Friendly staff also makes excellent recommendations for gifts, etc.

This is a fun book store to explore when you have free time. Plenty of lounge chairs for you to sit and enjoy a book or two. The staff is pretty spectacular. Theres also a coffee shop for all you coffee lovers.

The store is amazing! So much stuff! However at checkout the person was very pushy. He kept wanting me to sign up for the book store card and donate to the charity they were supporting, while I completely support the charity as its MY personal charity of choice after saying no thank you three different times I felt very pressured and bullied into buying something for the charity. Thats why its 2 stars because the coffee shop lady, 5 stars all the way she saved this review!

Great place to go if you want a book of just about any kind. The variety and quantity of their books here is amazing. Whenever Im in the area I always stop by to take a look around. I dont think Ive ever left empty handed even when I went in just to look around.

I enjoy BAM, as BORDERS used to be my favorite spot to take a deep breath. This store still brings back that feeling. My only request is that BAM and whoever takes care of the shopping area there, should push hard to get the GRAND CANYON potholes fixed that surround this store! Leaving the parking area in the shape it is currently has certainly deterred me from being there as often as I used to be. Its a customer care thing! Dont understand why they have let any repairs go this long. Otherwise, usually enjoy the place when I stop...just not as often now.

Very well kept store. An alternative selection outside of what some of the other box book stores offer. The staff is friendly although at time short staffed making checkout wait times longer. Game selection, magazine selection, and coffee lounge is very much appreciated by all.

Freindly staff and great atmosphere. Unfortunately the books online are a different price than the physical store. For me there is no point to go into the store if the books are more than double the price. Im just not into the book buying experience enough to pay the premium price.

My favorite big box bookstore. Good coffee in the coffee shop, great magazine selection. The art books selection has been slowly dwindling down (unless manga is your thing😂)Researching for a comic book project and I was able to find a large selection of comic books to draw inspiration from.

I come from a very extensive customer service background and the staff here are top notch! They will help you as much as they can with the best attitude. I lost my debit card once and they not only checked their store but the parking lot as well! Five stars 100%

Great staff. If youre a regular, and they know you, theyll stop bothering you about magazines. If not, just ask loudly about porn. Theyll get the hint pretty quick. Overall, I love this place and spend way too much money there. Lots of dorky junk I dont need, but have to buy anyway. Plus, THA BOOKS!

This is a really fun store to get gifts at! I love walking around and looking at all of the Harry Potter stuff because they have things you dont see other places. Also they have an awesome bobblehead selection! Every year I get my husband a calander from here because they have crazy choices!

A neat book store to buy new or slightly used books. They also had gift wrapping for a donation to a group that was doing it. You can even bring in presents from other stores for the gift wrapping.

Friendly staff, great selection, awesome sales. The membership is worth it - just keep track of your coupons! I spend way too much on comics and photo books here.

Great Selection, Good Customer ServiceBooks-A-Million (or BAM, for short) is my favorite location to buy books in the Quad Cities. A former Borders bookstore, the layout has been relatively the same. The selection is great with novels, comics, text books, toys, magazines, and anything you could expect from a big box bookstore.This location also has its own coffee shop with a good selection and a relaxing atmosphere. Different groups often meet here for activities and are respectful to other patrons. This shop has both lounge seating and dining seating.Staff attitude and customer service is good overall. Employees are helpful and have no problem assisting customers with finding the book theyre looking for. Unfortunately, this is yet another location where membership inquiries can be burdensome. Reminders on how much you could save by becoming a member are made at every purchase. These reminders arent usually made with a snotty attitude, such as with similar stores in this area, but they can be annoying.Overall, I would definitely recommend Quad City book enthusiasts to check out this store if they already havent. If staff would lighten up on the membership inquiries, this store would definitely get 5 stars from me.
