Colin at Sephora has the best customer service skills! Normally its really difficult to find someone to help you there. Hes also very funny, charming and witty. Thank you Colin for brightening our day.
My 10 year old granddaughter loved this place
TESSA was the only one working when I trickled in on a mission to find “makeup” (of no particular sort). What stood out was the open and welcoming atmosphere she approached me with. Everyone has different comfort levels when it comes to makeup, whether it’s wanting to learn more, or being a newbie to the makeup world! TESSA was very attentive and receptive to my questions and needs. She made sure I had options to choose and test from so that I could leave happy with the best possible beauty products.
Horrible customer service. Made the mistake of going back for concealer and got yelled at for seeing what color was the proper shade. As we were waiting to get in a older womand with white pony tail slammed the sign at us and said we may not enter and then laughed. We had no problem waiting Im not sure why she was so rude. Ended up going to the makeup counter at vonmaur and got amazing service. I wont be back. Im done with rude employees and this tore has a major problem with this.
The girls there are so stinking friendly, I love it. They really do take the time to help you pick out the best combos for your needs. They also have some great suggestions if you tell them what kind of thing youre looking for. All of the stuff is expensive and its easy to spend in there but everything is so worth every penny spent. Cant wait for my next stop in!
I love the quality of products and I dont feel like they are just trying to sell me something. I do wish they would take better care of the store. I realize it isnt the employees responsibility to change the lights but the strobe light effect from the dying ones is incredibly unpleasant.
Sephora in North park mall is absolutely fabulous. They take their time with you and the customer service is wonderful. Employees are knowledgeable and polite. Plus, they have pretty awesome deals from tome to time!
Today we had to do some exchanging and I wanted to get my girlfriend her perfume for her birthday. Of course as soon as we arrived at the mall my daughter disappeared and I was left to find this perfume on my own. I asked an employee in shoes where the fragrance department was and she told me she didn’t know and made no effort to help me. I wandered around until I saw “Sephora”. It was pretty busy but there were only 2 workers: a heavy set gal with glasses and black hair and a woman with puffy blond hair probably in her mid to late 40’s. I saw a few people ask Blondie for help and she did but seemed annoyed and appeared to want them to leave quickly. I didn’t want to ask her for help because I didn’t think she’d actually TRY to help me. The girl with the glasses was putting skin-colored spackle on someone’s face. I saw her step away from that a few times to assist other customers. I thought about asking blondie again but her face looked like she was doing chores so I joined the spackel table and waited for Glasses to come back. As soon as she saw me she said hello in a welcoming voice and asked if she could answer any questions for me. I asked her where the pink crystal is and she looked confused and then like a light-bulb went off. Squinting and pointing, she asked me, “Do you see that pink crystal-lookin’ bottle over yonder?” That amused me a which was needed because until then I felt like I was in the way. It a small space and I’m claustrophobic so that doesn’t help. She told me that she was almost finished and she’d be over to help in 2 minutes or less if I wanted to “sniff around”. While I was over there, i started to “sniff around” and found more than a few perfumes my gf may like. Damn. Life is impossible isn’t it? When Glasses made her way to me, i told her that I liked a few of them for my gf but I don’t know which one to get her. She told me she could make me a couple samples and I could wrap them nicely and let her choose. She said to make her a bday card with a tear out voucher for the full size of the one she likes better. Genius is what that is. And my gf will think I’ve suddenly become creative. I do need to come back and get a gift card tho for it. She told me that she was going to ring up the person who’s been waiting a while and then she’d make my samples. A line started to form with shocking speed. Annoyed Blondie was doing something off to the side when Glasses started to ask “hey when you’re done, if you’re not busy” and Blondie cut her off and said “No sorry Im off” while making a sort of “aww, bummer” face. She did come and help with the line tho. I waited a while and then gave up and joined the ever growing line. Glasses forgot about me for a moment, and remembered me again when she saw me standing in line with what I now know is called bright crystal absolute. She stopped what she was doing to come to me and said she was sure in 10 minutes the store would slow and she appreciated my patience and she promised to give me her full attention after it cleared out. I agreed and wandered the jewelry section while it thinned. When I returned, Blondie was gone but it was still too busy for one worker. Glasses had already made my samples and she even labeled a bag for each one so I don’t screw them up. I actually ended up getting the 2 samples, and something called boom boom cream. She also made me a random men’s Versace sample I didn’t ask for and I came back later and bought it. Glasses is tricky. I’m father to 2 daughters and I didn’t think females could fool me anymore. In the beginning, I was going to leave Pennies and go somewhere else but instead, I spent more than I intended and was inadvertently reminded to say “okie dokie artichoke” to my daughters more frequently because it certainly made me smile. Glasses, you promised my gf will appreciate the fact that I made the card and it won’t matter if it looks like a child’s art. I am holding you to that. Also, it’s very dusty in there. Glasses, I’m so sorry I can’t remember your name - thanks for your help!
Horrible waited around for someone to answer a question and the lady was rude and never once’s asked if I needed help until I said something and walked out than was sarcastic and asked what she could do to make me happy! Could of asked if I needed help while standing around looking dumb for 20 mins!
Getting someone to help you in the store is harder than pulling teeth. Ive been here many times and finding willing assistance is always a challenge. Ive even been ignored while standing at the cash register with merchandise in my hands by employees.
I was here with the wife not much for me but it was a clean nice store with nice people
Everytime I walk into their store no one ever greets me or ask if I need help finding something. This time I walk in and theres three women sitting there gossipping about another employee, didnt even greet me or ask if I needed assistance. I was looking at purchasing some cologne, but changed my mind. Id rather give my business to someone who wants it. Ill never shop there again, and businesses wonder why customers buy online instead of in store. Come on your employees are the faces of the business.
Stopped by with my daughter. She had a gift card to use.
They said my $30 eye shadow pallet was from Walmart... that was actually from ulta. Will never be shopping at sephora again they were just RUDE and jealous that ulta has better service and products than they do!
Nice but pricey I think.
So I am standing inline and see costumers get free stuff I overheard the one employee say its a special promotion going on everyone getting something, I walked up and nothing I asked why didnt I get anything she said oh you have to apply for a card I have I card why would I apply for another, I honestly would have let it go if her and that gay guy werent making smirk faces at me, almost to say ha ha ha you are poor.
