Friendly service. Got the job done quickly and got me back on the road.

Ive been going here for several years and they do really good work. I havent had anything yet that they cant fix. They give an honest appraisal of what needs to be done without trying to sell a bunch of repairs that I dont really need.

Took my car here in 10/2018. Pd 200+ and for a new muffler. They said there was a hole in the flex pipe. The car was still loud. In 3 years only had 7000 miles with a rumble. Took it today to AA and the whole top of the muffler was completely gone! Paper says hole in muffler, isn’t that what I asked you to fix!!! Do not recommend. I’ll walk before they get my business ever again. Very unhappy!!!!

Midas always goes above and beyond anytime Im there making sure all my questions are answered. They take the time to explain things in a way that isnt condescending, yet still in a manner of importance. Harry is always a pleasure to work with and is honest about work needing done! Staff was very polite, and accommodating. I went in to have my brakes done, and ended up needing rotors done as well, which boosted the price. Something I was not prepared for. However, they were kind enough to help me find a solution that would work for my current budget. Not only that, they had the car done in a quick amount of time, so I wasnt waiting for too long. Great customer service best place in town to get your car worked on.

Got an oil change and air filter. A little more expensive than other places but they do decent work. Only problem is most of the staff is unprofessional and honestly just loud and obnoxious, especially when theyre working on vehicles, or think customers arent within earshot. I wont be back.

Manager Harry is always a pleasure to deal with. Staff here is always helpful and lets you know that they arent just recommending things to fatten their pocket. They show you whats wrong and give you an option without the pressure. Although alot of this work I can do myself, one cant go wrong with dealing with the crew here at Midas on Brady st

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Harry was the nicest guy I’ve ever met with the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. He went way out of his way to help me and fix my car properly after I had a bad experience with another “mechanic” trying to fix my car. This “mechanic” had my car for 4 days and couldn’t do what Harry did in a couple hours with my car! He was very professional and answered all my questions so I would understand what was going on with my car better. I left happy and with a safe car to drive! Never been to Midas before but because of Harry this will be my go to shop now for all my car needs. I have never experienced customer service like Harry gave me. Thanks again Harry!

They notice the problem I had and said it can be fixed at a reasonable price. I was at a repair shop on Eastern Ave and they did bad work that made my SUV unsafe. Everyone I know that has been at this Midas are very satisfied as I am. Thank you.

Certain technicians like Sam are extremely helpful and just want to make sure your vehicle is safe and wants to help in any way possible. Harry is not quite as willing to help unless you are loyal to Midas and Midas only. Harry was quite rude to me multiple times. I will probably not be going back to Midas in the foreseeable future.

Our car has had some issues recently, but thankfully in a pinch Midas and their knowledgeable crew were able to help us the very next day. Not to mention if you have questions they have an answer or a route to find the answer! Finding a shop to work on your car can be difficult, especially when you dont know if youre able to trust the guys/gals shoving their hands into the deepest recesses of your vehicle, Im proud to say that I trust Midas 100%. Ive never been price gouged or told there was something wrong with my car that was just a bunch of bull for more money, they care about you and your car. If I could give more than 5 stars, you bet I would. Thank you gentlefolks for all you guys do to keep the people who rely on their vehicles, on the road.

Being I was traveling through and needed an emergency muffler repair for my bug, they made it happen and the inexpensive cost blew me away. VERY tentative to making certain I was well taken care of. Definitely the BEST Midas shop I have been to. Highly recommended.

HE ORDERED THEM BEFORE 10AM AND AT 3PM, HARRY CALLED AND SAID I COULD BRING MY CAR BACK UP THERE SO THEY COULD WORK ON IT. I WENT BACK UP AND WAITED PATIENTLY AS HIM AND HIS TEAM WORKED ON MY CAR AND SEVERAL OTHER CARS. I WAS OUT BEFORE 5PM. This place is absolutely ridiculous and will dig up for any money they can get. Do not go here unless you want to be over charged for anything that they can do.

Wow! Let me say that again! WOW! First experience of an oil change and some brake issues were taken care of nicely! Harry truly went out of his way to test drive and diagnose every issue he could find, next he took me out to the shop and physically showed me where all the issues were. Then sat down with me to review the issues, along with cost, what could be done later and what should be done now. No pressure to do anything beyond what I originally had an appointment to have done which was the brakes and the oil change! I took the information he gave me, thought about it, and returned for the rest of the repairs. The next visit Harry wasn’t there and things didn’t go as planned but I will tell you that Harry turned that not as great visit around and once again proved he and his team wanted to do what was right by taking care of the customer! He even went out of his way to give me a ride when I didn’t have a way back home. The BEST, most professional, HONEST service ever! I will be a repeat customer for life as long as Harry is the manager!

I would recommend this Midas to anyone in the QC area looking for a quality auto shop. As a woman, Ive always been nervous taking my car somewhere, because past experiences have taught me that most auto shops assume that women dont know anything about cars and take advantage of that, recommending all sorts of extra fees and services in order to charge you more. I am so happy to say that my experience with Midas has been the complete opposite. Theyve always been very honest with me about what my car actually needs vs. what to keep in mind for future, and Ive never felt pressured into anything. My first time I went to get my oil changed there, they actually noticed that it didnt need changed yet and told me to come back later, instead of changing it anyway. The owner and staff are always very friendly and welcoming. So if youre in need of an auto shop, check them out!

Popped a tire less than a mile away. They were nice enough to loan us tools to get the tire off. Then when our spare didnt work out they went to a different store to get a new tire. I believe they stayed after hours to put on a new tire and reinflate the spare for under quoted price. They were beyond happy to help. Talk about Christmas spirit.

Went in for a routine oil change and the new tech on site stripped my plug without notifying me. Went on my trip and ran out of oil half way due to the leak. Cost me a new oil pan and them a customer. Disappointed is an understatement.

They got us in immediately, diagnosed the issue, and told us that it didnt need to be addressed today and that we could drive home and have it dealt with there. Explained things well. No charge. We were there a total of fifteen minutes. Very grateful!

Its good but could use sone improvement

I had an appt for an oil change, during our most recent snow. Nothing was plowed, including Midas lot. It took me 45 mins to get what normally wouldve taken 15 mins to arrive, and I was still 5 mins early. The tech couldnt get my truck the 25 from my parking spot, to an indoor stall. The mgr would not let me get my truck up to the door, for them to pull it in the last few inches, claiming we cant allow that. With that logic, it would mean, I wouldnt be allowed to drive anywhere in the lot, as I had just pulled up to a stall, and backed up, when I arrived. The mgr told me I would have to come back another time. No, I wont be back. I drove thru hell to get there, and wasnt allowed to drive over the same unplowed lot, that I drove over, coming, and going... twice, as I had to come back, and get my cell phone I had left inside... but I had to leave, was not apologized to, or compensated in any way, because neither mgr or employee could drive my truck, 25 into a service stall. Its not my fault their lot wasnt plowed.Im giving 2 stars instead of 1, because Im acknowledging that the mgr at least wasnt pushing his tech to do what he wasnt comfortable doing.

They were able to fit my 16-ft box truck into one of their garages were able to give me an estimate immediately. I was unable to do it same day. Guys were professional friendly and quick. Shop clean and Organized. I will definitely be back!

It was conveniently located and had an early bird key drop off. They called with a primary estimate which I appreciated. I wouldnt call them cheap but theyll fair.

Harry and his team are excellent. They took me out to the vehicle when it was on the lift and pointed to exactly what needed to be replaced, and explained WHY the repairs were necessary in terms I could understand. During the actual work, they kept me updated along the way and answered all of my questions, and they were quite thorough. Seems like an honest shop. Ill be coming here again.

Very helpful and showed me what exactly what was wrong with my vehicle that the dealership conventionally missed.

Dropped off my truck brakes where locking up. Called me 5 hours later and said brakes need bleeding. $175.00 picked up truck 2 miles down the road brakes locked up again. We close in 10 minutes on a Friday called Munday morning and manager said it will cost 90.00 to diagnose it! I took it another shop and replaced the brake booster problem solved!

This Midas went WAY beyond the call of duty.I had a very specific problem that not too many places would have been able to accomplish. And yet they got in there and just did it!!!I’m very pleased with their good job, positive attitude and perseverance.I’m so excited that I used them!!! Amazing customer service and overall excellent experience! I have an old and very rusty 2001 Ford Ranger that many repair shops would not even work on because they didn’t want to risk causing more damage. This was not the case at Midas Davenport. They diagnosed extensive issues and gave me a great plan to fix only what was really necessary to get my car back in good driving condition. Harry, the supervisor was incredibly kind and helped me cut costs as much as possible. He helped get everything fixed within my tight budget. Dustin worked on the car and spent time showing me every step he did to make the repairs. He welded a new muffler on, replaced ball joints and control arms, installed a new fuel filler neck and sealed the rear drive shaft which was leaking. Everything was done with excellent expertise and I am very happy with the results and the entire experience. It was all done in only a few hours and was considerably cheaper than quotes from competitors. Thank you guys so much. You really rock!

I don’t usually leave reviews but my experience at Midas today warranted an excellent one! Harry is, as other reviewers have mentioned, super informative, and he took a lot of extra time to explain things to me. His honesty and low (no) pressure customer service made my experience at Midas a pleasant one. He went above and beyond for what was intended to be a quick stop for an oil change. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer! :)

Took in our car to get the code read. They told me it was the cam solenoids and possibly the catalytic converter. They also told me my oil was low and black. I had just changed it 3 weeks prior. I pulled the stick when I got home and it was full and good. The cam solenoids were $175 each installed and the cat converter was near a grand. After doing some research I saw the cam solenoids were an easy fix and the parts were $40 each online. I then tested the ones I have and they were good. Took the car to another shop and they found a leak in the intake gasket. I replaced that and $45 later my problem went away. Midas was going to charge me nearly $1,400 and it wouldnt have fixed my problem.

I love midas. They always are very up front and honest. When I had originally gone in they took my out and showed me all the stuff they were talking about on my truck. However they are not pushy with sales. I have and will continue to give them my business.

I have bought my car in for brakes, lights, and oil change. The service was great I think Harry and his staff care. And as a woman I felt comfortable that I was not being taking advantage of. I just Midas especially this team on the watchful eye of Harry Hitchcock. I thank them for a wonderful experience. I will be back for all my auto needs. 5 star service!

Harry was absolutely amazing! My fiancé and I were traveling cross country when my brakes gave out. After calling half a dozen different shops, he gave me hope that I could get home safely! He was able to get my car in asap. Unfortunately we were in the shop for about four hours, but that was due to the sheer amount of work my car needed. After he did a thorough look at my car, Harry brought us into the garage where we were literally under my car. He showed me where all of the issues were, explained every facet of what was going on and walked us through the repair process. Not to be dramatic, but my car has never run this smoothly in the four years I’ve been driving it. All of the guys at the shop were super nice and helpful. But Harry went above and beyond helping us get back onto road!

Came in for an oil change, found a couple additional issues, and replaced my (midas) brake pads for free. I will be back... but i recommend dropping off your vehicle because the get busy fast!

Harry and Team here are awesome... My whole life I learned to avoid places like this because they try to up-sell, convince, or take advantage of costumers. This was my third time with this Midas, and wow are they awesome!! If you are debating on where to take your car in the QC... you do not have to look anymore! Harry Rocks! A really great place to bring your vehicle! Everyone was very nice and fun to talk with. Harry the manager did a wonderful job explaining to me what was wrong with my truck, and what needed fixed but was safe to wait on until later. They provided multiple options for parts and ways to pay to make it manageable for me. 10/10 I will continue to come here and I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

They are friendly and have great customer service. They show you what and tell you why things need to be replace. Harry has a good way of explaining things so I can understand how it works. I recently had to have a lot of worked done he helped me to prioritize it so I could fit it in my budget and get it done in a timely matter. They all are great at their jobs. Requested an appointment online for an oil change and it said I would receive a call within 30 minutes of opening. After not receiving a call we called to see what time we should come in and as it turns out whoever is working didn’t check their email and booked their whole day with appointments. Unprofessional, why even offer the online appointment request if you don’t check your email?

Price was right. Did a thorough inspection of vehicle and recommended areas that needed attention. Will definitely be going back. Only downside was it took longer than I expected. Friendly staff.

It was a great visit

I was happy with the finished product but I thought they were high on the time quote. Only 3 nuts had to be removed, gasket replaced, and three nuts installed. It did not take that long. I watched and Was hard pressed to see 30 minutes.Ken Chitty

Update: I had a leak in my tire. Stopped in after work and Cornell got me right in. Found out there was a screw and fixed it. I had a great conversation with Harry while waiting. Such a friendly, helpful business. I highly recommend.Harry is amazing. I went in to have my tires rotated and he found a broken belt. Sold me a great set of tires and stood behind his word. Today my boyfriend went in to check some things out and Harry diagnosed the problem. The shop closed at 5, he stayed after hours and even had to fabricate a part, and got it done. I will always go here.

Had a great experience at Midas on North Brady. Needed a lot of brake work done on my 2003 Chevy Silverado pick up. Harry was friendly and courteous and explained and showed me everything that I would need to have done and gave me a couple of options.I opted to do it the right way. Overall I was very satisfied with my experience and the work done. I highly recommend this shop.

Working with Harry is the best. I know that when I go in there he is an honest mechanic. He is not the type who is going to sugarcoat a serious issue, and not the type who is going to make an issue where there is none. He is very straightforward and honest and I can really appreciate that. He has worked with me a few times and worked with my warranty company for hours just to get me back in my car and taken care of. The thing that I really like best about this Midas is that they are for the customer and not themselves.

He also walked us they everything that needed attention and told us why, what would happen if iwe chose not to fix, and answered all other questions we had. He worked very hard to get us the best deals for pricing as well. Highly recommend!

Honest service for a reasonable price. The other day, I came in saying that I thought my front brake pads need to be replaced. One of the men brought me out later and showed me that the brakes were actually fine, and that the squeaking may be the result of poor quality pads. Nonetheless, the pads were functional and didnt need to be replaced.At times they have many vehicles and not enough people (read: long waiting times), but the consistent positives outweigh the occasional negative. Ill keep coming back!

Came to Midas since my car had a major power steering leak. Harry and his team really helped out. He pulled me out onto the shop floor, taught me alot about my car which was needed. He helped get my car back up and running to pristine condition. Would highly recommend to anyone who has car problems. Harry and his team were friendly, knowledgeable and very quick.

My daughters car wouldnt start and Harry went out of his way to go to the Ambrose campus and check it out, get it back to the shop and drive it to where she worked afterwards!
