They have almost every ingredient you need for authentic Asian dishes. I cook a lot of Korean food and they have even the most niche items I need. Saves me a lot of time and money verses trying to purchase items online
I quite enjoy this establishment, Ive been trying all kinds of new things however I saw some mangosteen there that was $28 I asked the gal at the check out if they were ripe and ready to eat she said yes. I brought them home. They were very difficult to open and the flesh that was supposed to be white was brown and mushy. I called to ask if I could get a refund or trade it out for something else and I was told if the bag was open I couldnt trade. Im very disappointed because this fruit was expensive....I think they shouldnt put out spoiled fruit but maybe I shouldve done my research and looked at how theyre supposed to look. Oh well now I know. Im still gonna shop there.
Always a favorite. I stock up on spices that I love, sometimes get sweet treats and always try something new to me when I come in. The food they serve is so Delicious! Oh, and you can order a Boba tea to walk around with and shop. This store has so many things!
I absolutely LOVE this store - they have all their shelves full and ready to shop! If you dont know what something is all you have to do ask - lots of food to try!
Such a variety of foods, great quality and for great prices. The staff doesnt all speak English too well but they know what theyre doing! I recommend bringing a translator app if you are just browsing because alot of the products are in Chinese or viatnamese, but if you know what youre looking for the store layout makes it easy to find what your looking for. Theres always new product when you first walk in as well as fresh fruits like mango, durian, and dragon fruit or sometimes lychee. You can find some popular snacks and treats too like daifuku, yanyan or Pocky or the middle isle for your salty/savory snacks. The far left isles for ramen, the far right for frozen foods or veggies. Just right under the centennial bridge, go take a look!
Very inexpensive and very good selection! Highly recommend buying from here if you enjoy cooking authentic. Everything from fruits/vegetables to seafood. Also have a good selection of cooking utensils.
Love this place! Always have what I need. I would say the only thing is they don’t always have prices available on the shelves or on products.
Pretty nice store. My main complaint would be how chaotic some shelves are and the lack of prices on some items, it drives me nuts as someone who likes to know how much Im spending
A fairly good selection of foods orient origin. It is worth the visit if you ever cook or enjoy anything of orient origin, including candy, sweets, noodles, sauces, teas, coffee, seafood!!! And utensils, incense, dishes...yeah you get the point A-LOT!!
Super cute!! Has tons of food options. They had things that my regular store has been out of!
Most generally typical of none Japanese asian stores, NO SHELF TAGS & PRICES & ITEMS NEVER ROTATED & OFTEN EXPIRED DATES VERY COMMON.
I love being able to walk into an Asian food store and find several things that I would absolutely love coming back to buy more of or try. This store has everything. Spices, produce, seafood, noodles, cooking supplies, specialty drinks, and it was very clean. Super nice and friendly staff.
Good selection of viet foods. Unfortunately they have sold dead blue crabs, which is outright dangerous.
This store was a great surprise for me. I cant believe I havent been there before. They have everything I love. They have teas, all kinds of sauces, soups, candies, kimchi, veggies, dish wear, baked goods. This store has some many products youll discover some new every time you go. They also have a small dinning area.
Found the couple of things that I was looking for... should go there more often...
Im so happy theyre open. Best place to find ramen noodle soup mixes. Love the store owner and workers. Friendly atmosphere.
They had exactly what we wanted for a recipe, and great snacks.
Lots of stuff to try here. Wish I lived closer. My go to for egg rollin rollin rollin keep rollin rollin rlollin.
Great store with all kinds of frozen seafood, fresh veggies, canned goods, sweets, lots of noodles, tea, and hot sauces!
Has anything for Chinese. Asian, oriental cooking. One stop store if you like Chinese food and want to make it at home.
Love this place, they have a big selection of weird drinks that i use to poison my friends and myself
A lot more variety to buy Asian Groceries in the Davenport area
One of my favorite places to shop. They have new things to try every time I stop by, as well as consistent staples that I keep coming back for.I have friends who come in just to stock up on the wide variety of noodles they have on the far left side of the store, way better than your average grocery store ramen, and I love the more unusual seafood in the freezer section. Its the only place I know in town where I can get a whole octopus or prawns the size of my hand.Great place for congoers to stock up on snacks like mochi, ramune, pocky, dried squid, and bean buns during Anime-Zing for half the price of buying them at the vendor hall. And speaking of bean buns, if you happen to be there when they have their bean creme buns in stock, GRAB SOME. The cream inside is like a cross between whipped cream and honey butter, mildly sweet and sooo fluffy. When they have them they sell out pretty fast. And a good tip for shopping I wish someone wouldve told me; the google translate app has a mode that will automatically detect the language of whatever you point the camera at and translate it for you. This is excellent for reading labels, as you dont have to know what the base language is or have the kanji available on your keyboard. It opens up a lot of possibilities.
People are SO nice and kind here..You will be welcomed as soon as walk in.
Love this place. Only place I will go.
Great, friendly staff, shelves always stocked, great variety of items to choose from paired with low everyday prices!!! Love this store, the packs of coocked duck are awesome!!!
Large selection of Oriental and other ethnic foods and merchandise.
Owners are very kind and warm. They are really fast too!
I stopped in there a few days ago to pick up some supplies. Their selection is quite good, although not well organized. My main complaint is that the business is not following safety guidelines during COVID. Employees were not masked. I got in and out of there promptly.
I love shopping here! I can find good quality ingredients here. They always have friendly staff.
Great selection of Korean food and ingredients
Great selection! Also, goat meat if youre looking. I havent found it many places and was a little surprised, but in a good way. I didnt think to check the Asian grocery
I love the original food store nice people and they have different food to try 😋
The was nice a store!! We be back. Worth a trip from Diubuque.
The people are very nice and make you feel welcome. I found this place when we moved here 4 years ago and love it.
This is an Asian store. Its got lots of goodies but not just for me.
Very helpful helping me find what I needed
Huge array of oriental foods to chose from, great service! Just Fabulous!
They have a great selection of Dokil pastries (Korean bakery in Chicago) that we were happy to find in the quad cities! Overall great selection and a nice place to shop.
Always very nice service and great international food items
Great selection of Asian groceries.
Only place i go for ramen
Best place to get all your asian needs for food. If they dont have it, you can order it.
Dont have much!! And very very expensive!!!
This is THE place in the Quad Cities to get supplies for Asian cooking. Always pleasant and helpful. Never lacking in quantities.
Great variety of noodles, sauces, vegetables, teas, coffees, and bakery items. Great prices and friendly staff. The restaurant inside is open on weekends and has delicious pho soup. Shopped here for 6 years.
Great variety of foods. From frozen to fresh, they offer meats, fish, vegetables and much more. They also offer items for the household; plates, cooking accessories, etc. You can even have a quick lunch there. Genuine oriental foods.
Too expensive, everything!
Great selections!
Fantastic! First time I shopped there!Friendly, Helpful, Welcoming Staff.Reasonable prices.Vast variety of product selections!!!
Anything Asian known or unknown can be found here. For a good price. Dried or frizen seafood. Quail eggs to canned squid. Also friendly help. Even for poorly informed Midwesterners.😛
Wonderful selection wonderful items. Great snacks, treats, and noodles. Thank you!
Excellent selection of Asian food items. LOVE the Kimche
Authentic Chinese, Japanese, and Korean goods.
Very nice place to get oriental food
Great selection, reasonable pricing.....authentic kimchi!
Cool place to see foods and groceries that are not usually used in American Culture. I got lost in there for about 2 hours despite the size of the store. The staff was a little slow to things but otherwise, this place is a dymond in the rough.
Oh my goodness so much to see. I will go back many times. Very friendly helpful staff.
Nice variety of foods from several oriental cultures. A must visit to buy when Im doing asian and subcontinent dishes.
Love this store!
Nice little market with all the products you need to make Asian dishes. I pop in when making rice balls or curry, or feel like some unique drinks and snacks. They also make excellent bahn mi!
Has a lot of stuff, but cleanliness could be improved!
Nice place to shop. Good management. Friendly.
Such a cute and nice grocery! Found the ingredients I needed quickly, and the man at checkout was super nice and helpful. Store is clean, organized well, and has plenty of specialty Asian ingredients that are hard to find anywhere else
Very nice store lots of authentic food and snacks. Nice customer service. Very comfortable.
The only oriental food store in town, has good variety of foods, owner is very helpful.
Lots of items that are hard to find locally.
Excellent selection, has everything you need for Asian cooking.
Bought a pack on noodles from there and found bo weevils inside of the bag. I took everything back and was met with a curt and rude man. I never write bad reviews for places but this was unacceptable. Really sad because I enjoy Oriental food and love to cook it. But I can no longer shop there until they make some changes.
Our favorite Asian market in the Quad Cities. The pho and bubble tea are excellent if youre here on a weekend.
Great and extensive selection. Cold cases with fresh, good quality produce and much more. Stop in on the weekend and try some great food at their cafe, Pho 999. So delicious.
One of my preferred spots to grab something to eat. good location, neat, and very good service. A must try!
Good selection of food. On this day, I went to Pho 9999, the restaurant inside of it. Small area and only open on the weekends. I had a delicious pho with meat in it. Loaded it up with sprouts and whatever green stuff they gave me. Was very disappointed when I was finished because I wanted more. Would definitely return to try other things on their menu.
Love going here for items not found in the regular stores!!
Great selection of many types of food. Family dinner store. Fun to watch the kids help.
I appreciate having oriental foods so readily available and nearby. The store is well organized, with wide aisles and lots of refrigeration. I purchased fresh ginger today, and it was stored under refrigeration. Noticed fresh, live crabs for sale, too. Very friendly clerk checked me out. [Credit card usage only for amounts of $10 or more.]
One day i went there and there was literally a mouse in one of the aisles. a literal live mouse. overall extremely unhygienic.
Find almost anything for the pantry.
SO much selection and staff is friendly.
Great food In store and drinks!! Go try
This place has a large variety of Oriental foods. It was my first visit & I was impressed with how stacked it was.
Fairly well stocked Oriental grocery store. Many items are not labeled in English, so some items are surprises when you open or prepare them for meals. Prices are my main reason for shopping here. In some circumstances, 25% compared to larger grocery chain stores.
Some of the best veg you can find locally.
Wide selection of foods, I went for the frozen dumplings. 🥟🍜💙
Great selection of produce, several kinds of basil, fresh tofu and beans sprouts daily, got to check it out yourself. On Fridays in the late afternoon they have special delivery of items from Chicago oriental market bakery.
Horrible experience here! I bought shrimp paste their and when I opened it up it was covered in mold and I realized that the experiation date said 10/2015!!! I only wanted to exchange it and they told me no because thats how its supposed to look like and that shrimp paste never expires. Keep in mind Ive bought shrimp paste before, so I know how it looks like and the texture of it. After a little arguing the lady told me I was allowed to exchange it. I go to look for another one and it turns out every single one on their shelf was expired already, so at this point I ask for my money back and they wouldnt allow it. They told me to grab a different brand that was way less then what I paid for. I demand them to pay me back the difference and they refused until I made a scene! I will NEVER go back there again. I rather drive 20 minutes to another Asian store then to get expired food products. What a health hazard to everyone! This is NOT okay.
The best!!!
They have all the unique ingredients I need to cook Thai food. They stock Kaffir lime leaves!! Excellent store.
They have fruits and vegetables that I have never been before. They have a large variety of Oriental foods and spices.
Super friendly staff. Knowledgeable about the products. Will help you find ingredients for that next meal.
The people there are always nice, and they have a good selection of things that change often, so its always a treat to go and see whats new
I like this store a lot only because I like to eat and try different things they have a very big selection of seafood
This place has all your Oriental needs - seafood, meats, fruits, candy, noodles, and kitchen ware. Prices are very affordable and the quality very good.
Lots of good Asian food and the bubble tea is good too. Only problem is the straw is smaller diameter than the pearls (almost collapsed a lung trying to get it) and the tea is not reliably available. Some days theres no tea :(
