Doing a new home landscaping project we visited GreenCycle a few times with questions. Today we were finally ready for the mulch. Very friendly and knowledgeable people helped us out in getting the right mulch. Super impressed with the quality of their mulch. Started with a full pick up load then came back for 2nd, very generous scoops. Will definitely use them in the future.

I recently ordered 7 yards of their Ultra soil. Their inside sales agent assured me, when I called in, this product would make a good top dressing for my yard, meaning it was pulverized to enable easy raking into the grass of my yard. What I discovered after it was delivered was a good portion of product had a texture that was no where near pulverized. Many clumps were larger than the largest grapefruits and were hard like wood. I couldnt break them up with my rake and shovel... maybe if I had used a sledge hammer! I ended up having to sift the entire 7 yards with a pitchfork and toss these large clumps to the side, which my neighbor used to fill in holes in his yard. This extra effort made an already labor-intensive task twice as much work. I was very displeased by their misleading sales talk, especially at the price they charged for this product. My advice to you is look elsewhere for the soil you are going to use as a top dressing. This Ultra soil is definitely not it.(7-30-2018) Today I received a phone call from Green Cycle McCarty and was amazed at their eagerness to correct this problem. It seems some faulty product that was delivered to them missed inspection and was therefore passed on to some of their customers. I was offered a FULL refund on my product which seemed a bit too generous too me but still a healthy indicator of their desire to make things right. I was (pleasantly) surprised to learn that customer service in our country is NOT a thing of the past! 👏

My go to local mulch place. Dropped off fallen wood debris and grabbed a yard many times. Great selection and friendly CSRs over the phone or in person. Recommend their bulk delivery and their economy and black dye mulch. Will miss them at indy f&p this year.

I switched mulch provider two years ago on the recommendation of a pro landscaper. I was happy with the other company but since GreenCycle/McCarty is closer I decided I would see how it worked out. Last year I had a delivery of many yards - and this year a few pickup loads.Every time Ive been at the business Ive had friendly help. When the store has been busiest more people step up to take orders. Loading has been quick and fair. Barely get the truck stopped and its being filled. Orders are communicated for loading without me doing anything - a bunch of small touches that make the process smooth and easy.

I want to compliment the folks at Danville. i have been making almost daily trips in there for 3 weeks now getting topsoil, mulch, decorative stone and now gravel . I come in with my pickup and get a halve or whole yard at a time. They treat me like a long time customer including the time I brought my grandsons who had popcorn while waiting. I ordered a load of river rock and asked that it be delivered ASAP. They did within a couple of hours of the order. Seamless from ordering online, to payment, to delivery.

Weve used them twice now for stone. The mix we requested was good and delivery was timely. My one beef was that they tried to oversell me what I needed by 2 yards. I gave the lady my dimensions and she did a quick calculation on her calculator and came up with 7 yards. We paid and left. On the way home something didnt seem right so I did my own calculations and came up with 4.3 yds. I called back and got a refund for two of the yards and went with 5. It looks great and I dont have a lot left over. Be warned, do your own calculations!

Every time im their weather im dumping my trailer witch i do on a daily im helped or at least offered help with dumping or whatever ot may be that im doing..the gentleman on the loaders are jus as friendly as the lovely ladies in side..so even ehen its a lil out of my to go their its worth my wild to go..wouldnt prefer it any other way..great place with friendly people..if it tells you anything i have never rated anything or ever given a review..i could go on an on about them..lol..we need more people an places like this 1..

Good experience with buying rock and having it delivered. Wish they had longer hours on Saturday since they are closed on Sunday.
