Tried to go to Home Depot for some sprinkler parts but the line was literally the length of the building so I thought Id try Alamo instead. I was in and out in 5 minutes and the staff is incredibly helpful. I will be coming here 1st for anything that they carry next time!

Alamo/Ace Hardware at Blackhawk (Danville), have everything u may need for home maintenance and improvement related hardware items. Best part is their customer service. U will always find a knowledgeable staff close by, for quick help and guidance! Highly recommend this store for hardware items.

Always look to support local business and not the big stores and/or amazon. Arrived 5 minutes after store closed. They still had customers in the stores. Explained that I needed an emergency plumbing part. Manager was unsympathetic and just cold! Without exceptional or even good customer service, why should I shop here when your prices are high. I will just go to big stores receive the bad service and save money. Terrible!

I go there every January for pinewood derby. Staff is excellent. They have answers for most questions. You dont have to go far to look for a support like other big box stores

Merchandising is a little odd, not intuitive. Efficient checkout.

These guys made me keys even though I provided the special blanks. They didnt charge me! Im now a customer for life. Great inventory of household repair items conveniently located across from Blackhawk.

Biggest hardware store Ive ever been to. They have it all and then some. Great staff wish I lived by the Alamo hardware. Was only working by it needed one thing and got lost with all the inventory

The hardware section is one of the better ones I have seen. Lots of different little items one may be looking for to complete their project. Large selection of spray paints

Pretty good stock of items allows you to avoid a trip to the home depot and many parts that home depot does not carry
