Very nice place, Very helpful staff, go to place for card boxes, magic and Pokemon cards, guitars, and by far the best selection of funko pops in town!
Very knowledgeable about what I asked.
I love this place, Ive been going here for years. Owners are relaxed and fun to be around and the general atmosphere is laid back. Will continue to go here for as long as they are open :)
A bit haphazard, but the owner is super nice and its definitely a super welcoming store! If you are looking for a place with hidden treasures for MTG or really good trade-in value, this is definitely your place to go.
If you want to dig through unorganized comic boxes and then be priced at the counter by someone who has no clue about comics, only to be asked to pay NM prices for FR- books, this place is for you. Good luck!
My favorite shop! Honestly the best I have ever been to. Staff are friendly and they have anything you could want for your nerdy needs.
Cosmos has Friday Night Magic, tournaments, pre-releases, as well as DnD (Dungon and Dragons). These are great ways to make new friends while being the nerd you are.
I often go there. Its neat. The owners are nice, but some of the people who play there are evil murderers. The prices are very reasonable.
We love this little comic store! They have a lot of magic the gathering players in there all the time. And great prices
Selection of comics and games, the new owner is adding musical equipment. They have live shows and good sales and deals. They host magic the gathering Friday magic and drafts.
This place is great. They have lots of MTG cards and other collectables.
Well firstly if youd like to visit this store theyre located on 4th st, not church street. The place looks like an absolute dump, as if someone opened a pack of magic cards and flung them everywhere while simultaneously dispersing trash all over creation. Whoever was working when we went in was rude and looked completely miserable, uh dude, you work at a comic store, lighten up. They arent buying cards now so dont waste your time. They might move some product if the place werent a total disaster. Dont waste your time, just drive to Lexington to go to a real game store.
A very good comic and game store. I was in Danville for work and stopped in on a Wednesday. The owner was there and he and his staff were very helpful. Personable and easy to talk to and the regulars hanging out in the game room were funny without being stand-offish or annoying. A good selection of comics well displayed and a wide selection of trades. The toy room was well stoked too, and although I didnt look through it there is a back issue section too. The store offers nightly gaming which is most likely a good time, if the guys and gals I saw hanging out in the shop are any indication. Ill definitely stop in next time I am in the area.
Can you give less than one star? Because 0. Its crowded and nasty and not even about the comic books. They have the popular ones on display in a tiny room and the rest are boxed up and put away so if you want to look in them be ready for a pain in the rear. If you like magic the gathering then stop by because thats literally all they do. Its a poor excuse for a comic shop. The new owners have really just run it into the ground.
Friendly staff and good selection. Highly recommended.
Let me paint a picture for you. Crack house, city dump, rotting flesh, Chers fur collection, all things much cleaner and more appealing than than this dump of a place.
Great selection of Magic cards, comics, and other collectibles, helpful staff, and fun tournaments. Also very fair pricing, no ludricous surcharges like other collectibles stores.
In a business that is being run out by the ease of online shopping it saddens me to see comic stores struggle. I grew up loving comics and superheroes, so when I move to a new town and see theres a comic store Im pumped to go. It can be better in many ways first off get rid of the piles of comics strewn about in heaps, secondly stock up on current board/card games people are hyped for! (betrayal at house on haunted hill, Boss monster, etc) I get it people like m.t.g but not everyone, and thirdly if your business has comics in the title have more then a 8 ft wall of comics.I guess if you want a large variety of books and a clean organized place to find them, dont go here.P.s. if you read this cosmos comics pick your game up and bring the epicNess of being a comic shop back. Fix your flaws and be great again!
Danville has need a guitar shop like this for a long time. knowledgable staff, rad used equipment and an colorful choice of guitars. go there and just jam on stuff.
Great place!
New location is twice as big. Come check it out. More stuff too 128 church street next to speedway
Excellent service and knowledgeable staff!
My favorite place. If they sold sandwiches Id never leave.
Cool dudes and great prices!
Never heard of a comic store having a limit of 2 comics on Free Comic Day unless you spend $10. 30 minute drive for nothing. Selection of comics not that great.
Witch building is it? i havent been there but i might
Had everything I was looking for.
