I always receive great service (on both my automobiles). Great deal on tires, with free lifetime rotation. They are always crowded, a sign of good service. I usually drop my car and they call when ready. Last time I had to wait, comfortable waiting area, did not have to wait but about an hour. Great guys!

Being new to the area I decided to look for a place with a 5 star rating and wish I never did. We came in for a new tire and an alignment cost us almost $300 and to top it off our tire was not on tight at all!!! Car was shaking terribly took it to a hole in the wall and was advised that all tires where loose! I will never go to this place ever again and would advise against it to everyone!

I give them 4 stars but Im kind of changing my mind. Went there today to see about getting my bmw lined up but said I shouldnt bring it on Saturday because it would take too long for them to do it on Saturday never had a problem with them before. Have known Mike the owner since high school dont know what to think of this. I quess Im going to call in sick to work so I can get the car aligned.

I had an alignment done, but they couldnt adjust the rear due to my control arms being rusted. I had just put on a set of 4 new tires previously that day. The guy comes back and says he could only adjust the front, but that should fix my alignment even though I was charged full price. I live in West Virginia, but was down visiting family when I got this done. On the drive back home I noticed it kept pulling to the left even harder than before the alignment. Needless to say I paid $60 for a worse alignment as my set of $250 tires are now showing signs of inner wear because the steering wheel is at a slight angle for driving straight when it was not like that before. 🤦‍♀️ Disappointed.

Had a horrible experience, Took my car there on Monday, guy says it would be ready that evening, that evening he says it would be ready Tuesday morning, waited til 1130 still wasnt ready said maybe that evening, then still wasnt ready, so Wednesday, I get a phone call that they couldnt fix the wheel bearing and but they said they fixed the caliber, I paid over $200 for them to fix the caliber and they had my car 3 days just for me to have to take it somewhere else to get fixed and still didnt have brakes and the part they put on wasnt any good, caliber was still leaking fluid, so I had to end up paying more money to get it fixed right somewhere else.

Didnt align anything. Wore down the insides of both of my brand new front tires on my car. Then after getting my truck aligned it now rides like a horse and buggy. Terrible work. Had to have both vehicles fixed elsewhere and are the way they should be now.

Went there to get a bulb changed and they said a hour but I decided to see if it was something I could do as I was looking one guy came out and took it out and with 10 minutes or less they had one delivered and put in Thank You

Fast friendly service and good prices. I only paid $59 for a four wheel alignment. The only downside is that they dont do appointments so get there early. Like 7:00am early or else you will be there awhile as it stays very busy.

I recently bought a new care that had lug nuts that required a key. Of course the key didnt come with the car. I called Smith Davis & they told me to swing by. Our wait was less than 2 hours, which was reasonable since we didnt have an appointment scheduled. Once they got to my car, it took 5 mins. Kia dealership quoted me for $100, Smith Davis did it for $30. I would definitely schedule an appointment & do just a drop off for this business

I wanted to get my ball joints replaced simply because I wanted it done and didnt know when or if they had ever been replaced. They told me the old ones were still good and they didnt think they needed changing. This tells me they are honest. I had it done anyway just because I wanted it. Come to find out, there actually was an unseen problem with the control arm once the knuckle was taken off.

They usually do well and are respectful. They answer your questions.

I was very impressed called them that morning about tires and they had to order them got them in that afternoon and only took them an hour to put them on and do a oil change, definitely going back there!

I came from out of town and googled a shop to go to, and they were great!! So quick and kind. So glad I went. :)

Took our car there to have it aligned and was told that the lower control arm needed to be replaced before it could be aligned. Then told us that our bill was $35 for diagnosing that there was something wrong with our car. Took our vehicle to our regular mechanic which put in WRITING that there was nothing wrong with the control arm AND took it to another tire business in Danville and asked them to align it and check the car out to make sure everything looked okay. Got it aligned with no other problems found!!! No wonder Smith Davis is rated 2.3 stars!!! We would NOT recommend ANYONE take their vehicle there!!! We should take them to court to get our money back!!!

My daughter was returning to Liberty University from Greenville, SC and her 2008 Nissan Xterra broke down in Danville, VA. We had it towed to Smith Davis Tire as they are a Tire Pro dealer and that is who we use in Greenville, SC. They diagnosed the problem as #5 Ignition coil but recommended that I go ahead and replace all 6 ignition coils (once 1 goes out the rest are sure to follow) Have since found this statement to be not entirely true. Paid $750 to have the work done. My daughter was not able to get back to the vehicle until the weekend and the business was closed. They left the key in the vehicle. When my daughter started the vehicle she called me immediately and said the car did not sound good. I asked her if she was able to drive it and she said yes. Told her to try to get it to Larry Auto in Lynchburg. Called me 10 minutes later and she said the vehicle was doing the exact same thing before (sounding loud and running rough). She called after another 10-15 minutes and told me the car broke down again. I had it towed back to Smith Davis Tire as the car was obviously not fixed. They sent the vehicle to Scarce Muffler as they do not work on catalytic converters at Smith Davis. Scarce Muffler said that it was most definitely rear catalytic converters. Told them that I had just had the ignition coils replaced from Smith Davis Tire and Roger said that was probably not the issue to begin with and that it was most likely the catalytic converters all along. Have had 2 other local mechanics explain to me that when the catalytic converter is the problem it can and often does throw an incorrect code. Said the mechanic should have looked at the cats before replacing the ignition coils. Especially should have realized there was still a problem when the vehicle sounded so bad after they replaced ignition coils. Received a quote from Scarce to replace the rear cats for around $1000. Called Smith Davis to ask if there was any way they could help since the ignition coils were obviously not what was causing the problem. They contacted the owner and he said they did nothing wrong and that I would be on my own. The owners reasoning was that we drove the vehicle almost 30 miles down the road before it broke down again!!!

Great service and looks to be a good set of crew members...I went for an oil change...which I thought was the issue with the noise coming from back of my toyota scion xb 2005...but after they changed oil which was pretty quick service also...the noise was still there...my only reason for 4 stars is the fact that neither one of the gentleman working there said anything about it even though they heard it..which i looked myself next day found out it was the heat protector piece had fell down on muffler ...even if a lady doesnt have the money to pay for anothet issue...it doesnt hurt at all to offer or SAY something pertaining to the noise..guess they only do what paper says when brought to them.FYI... Just suggest ..All of us arent Super independent...We dont mind some helpful CAR information...

Normally I dont publicly complain if I have poor service and try to give the benefit of the doubt, however this is strike 2 for Smith Davis Tire Pros. Yesterday I took my car in after having my tires rotated elsewhere and was informed to have an alignment. I go in about 9AM. Wait about and hour and a half. They finally get it on the lift. Its on there less than 3 mins and they guy calls me to the counter. He says they cant do my alignment unless I pay for a new lower control arm because mine is messed up. Thatll be 370 without factoring in the other 60 for alignment and that they would have to order the part. I said ok, let me call around and see what I can do. I bought the part myself, called up my mechanic, he put it on in less than an hour. All together it was less than 145. Now backtracking, before Smith Davis would give me my keys I had to pay them 35 just for putting it on the lift. I didnt fight and figured Id be back same to to finish it. As soon as my mechanic finished up, I called Smith Davis and said Hey can I drop it off around 4 and pick it up when I get off work tomorrow? The guy said sure. I then said I paid 35 when I was there thats going to be applied to the alignment cost right. The guy on the phone said Absolutely shouldnt be a problem. Fast forward to today. Go to pick it up. The guy at the counter refuses to take it off. Then says if you leave and get a part fixed they dont check the alignment on that part of the car. So basically they did half an alignment and charged me all over again. Absolutely terrible customer service. I have never been so disappointed by a business in my life. Everyone there needs to be on the same page and stop trying to scalp there customers. I will not be returning. I work hard for my money and dont appreciate someone conning me out of it.
