Havent bought anything here but used them for service on Yamahas and they do great work at very reasonable prices. They will even travel to you dock on Smith Mountain Lake which was very helpful.

This is a great business! We bought our AR210 from them last season and have had the best service from them. Very friendly and helpful. Needed something fixed that was under warranty, they came to our dock to fix it. Talk about service!

Did some repairs to our boat, but have not tested repairs to make sure everything is working properly. Staff is friendly and helpful. We have a 06 maxum ski boat.

We saw their boat listed online so we called and talked to Waylane in sales.Hughes marine has their boats listed to sell and not sit on the lot.They sold me this boat ( which is loaded out with options) way less than I could by a strip model in Dallas Texas.So we drove 1050 miles from Diana Texas to Danville Virginia to buy this boat.When we got their our salesman Waylane was outside helping the detail guys get the boat ready to go to Texas.This boat is exactly what Waylane said it was and Patsy in finance got me a very good interest rate also.

Just purchased a used boat from Ed Hughes and I highly recommend him. It was an excellent experience. Ed is very knowledgeable and personally owns a 4.3 liter fish and ski boat. Ed keeps the stress low and satisfaction high. Ed listened to my tire and motor concerns. Ed responded by offering new tires, engine pressure testing and a 30 day warranty. In addition, his price was very competitive. The service staff provided on the spot assistance when some of my trailering equipment was a mismatch. Very very satisfied. Look forward to doing business with the team again.

I bought my first Yamaha jet boat and two wave runners from Hughes Marine this spring. The experience could not have been better or easier. Mary, Andy, Patti, Tim and the rest of the team are extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with. The watercraft were delivered to Smith Mountain Lake at my convenience and they spent the time I needed to review the operation and features of the boat. I am relatively new to boating and had a few issues early on that turned out to be user error - live & learn. Regardless, the team at Hughes answered my many questions and, when needed, had someone at my dock on Smith Mountain Lake the following day to assist. I value great customer service from a knowledgeable staff and I would highly recommend Hughes Marine.

Fantastic experience from viewing website at home, going to the Roanoke boat show, walking into the showroom, and completing the sale. We were treated like family! Warm, courteous, professional service. We bought a pontoon and have already enjoyed a wonderful boating season, couldn’t be happier! Hughes Marine is great! We purchased a boat a few years ago and we have always had excellent customer service. We bought a boat from Hughes Marine in the fall of 2018. We were very happy with the purchase, delivery and orientation to the boat. We were informed that it would not be a problem having the boat serviced at Smith mountain lake as we were advised there would be someone at the lake to do service regularly. When we were approaching the first time service was due, we made multiple calls and requests to have someone come out and do the service. We were told repeatedly someone would call and arrange a time but no one ever called back. So as a result we took the boat to another marina on the lake for the service. Not happy with the customer service after the purchase at all!!

Agreed to purchase a boat from these guys over the phone. Told them I would come by that afternoon to pay and pickup. No mention was made of a deposit over the phoneRent a truck, drive 2 hours on toll roads...When I arrived, was told that boat just went out the doorThe further explained: this has happened before. Were in the business of selling boatsWell, how about act professionally then and if a deposit is required; request one.Total waste of a day off, truck rental, gas and tolls!!!!!

Called them on the phone to see if they had a part in stock. They assured me they did. I drove 1hr and 15min one way to get the part. Tell them my year, make and model and they assured me the part was the same. I tried to install the part and it doesnt fit. 2hrs and 30min of driving waisted not to include my money for incompetentcy.

Great service and great staff. Mary was a pleasure to deal with and made buying easy. Worth the trip for a great deal. We appreciated all the extra aches and pains to get our boat ready for Memorial Day weekend. Thanks for the outstanding service!

These folks are scammers. We gave a $5,000 deposit on a boat while going through the financing process. When the financing fell through they attempted to keep the full $5,000 but ended up giving us half back and saying the rest could be a store credit. We tried several times to use the credit but would never get return phone calls. When we tried again, they said the credit was expired and written off. Do not give any deposits until your financing has been approved, otherwise theyll claim the fine print says you forfeit your deposit. PS they claim to be Christians, thats how they get you.

Picked up a boat from here. I had some trouble with my trailer (shackle flipped) these guys were extremely helpful and made sure I left their facility safe for my long haul!!
