This is the only place I have my tires done. Ive never had issues with service. The staff is always friendly and the prices are typically better than other places. Like many businesses I think C19 has taken its toll but they are still plugging away.

I went in for an oil change gave all the vehicle information... when i picked up vehicle the WRONG OIL was put in. I complained and was told it was correct and would be fine. I went home called Dealership, checked advanced auto and a few other places they all agree it was the wrong oil! I called to ask them to put the correct oil in and was told it was correct if i want another oil change id have to pay for it! I said im not paying for another oil change this is insane! The mechanic also ripped my sun visor! Now i have the wrong oil and no one i can go to about correcting the issue. biggest waste of money i have ever spent! 40$ down the drain this will be my first 70$ oil change after all is said and done! DO NOT GO HERE!

I have scheduled an online appointment two weeks in a row now for my scheduled services not to be performed. The first week I drove 30+ mins to be told that my appointment had been canceled. Granted an email was sent by the store manager that was directed to my spam inbox stating that they could not perform the services I requested but offered a new date and time. This new date and time did not fit into my work schedule but the store manager was very apologetic and told me to schedule at a time that would best fit my schedule. I rescheduled my next appointment today @1pm for 4pm. I arrived at Mr. Tire only to be told that I did not have an appointment at all and that if I had made an appointment “then you must have just scheduled it at 3:30pm” I then showed my confirmation that shows I scheduled @ 1pm. I was then told sorry “we didn’t respond because we are backed up.” UNPROFESSIONAL! I get the hassle of scheduling online appointments, but you would think someone would have taken the time to reach out BEFORE I arrived to the store for my “scheduled appointment” as the store manager did with my first encounter. Customer retention should be important to every business. One has been lost.

They are very friendly and go the extra mile to explain whats going on with your vehicle. First time weve gotten our oil changed there. Had been going to jiffy lube for mom, and everytime it seemed like they tried to get her to get more and more things done, causing more money, causing her to not go bk.Very impressed with Mr. Tire!! My wife and I went to Mr tire to get a tire for her 2007 Nissan Maxima and her car only uses low profile tires not only do they have them in stock but they gave us a great deal took the bad tire off the car put the brand new tire on the car disposed of the bad tire and they did all this within 40 minutes very great place to get your oil changed transmission fluid changed they do it all and they do it very professionally! Brought my girlfriends car in to get a state inspection went online and made an appointment.Received a confirmation via email. Arrive at the store 10 minutes early. The guy At the counter says we don’t take appointments for state inspections. My reply was fine well I’ll wait in line in the car can get inspected. Then I get told that it can’t be done because there’s no one there today to do a state inspection. What normal tire store doesn’t have a technician to do state inspections on a Thursday? Could it be they didn’t want to service the car because they couldn’t upsell unneeded parts on a two year old car? It seems like there was an issue with an appointment it would have been brought up before the confirmation email would have been sent out. So after driving 35 miles to go to This place and not have The vehicle serviced.I’m convinced to take my three cars and do business with Southside break and tire instead!

They significantly overcharged us. We bought a single tire for our pickup about a month ago and they charged us $225. We bought the same size tire and same quality tire today from Discount Tire for $123. Compare prices before you buy from Mr. Tire.

They charged my mother in law $800 dollars to fix her car. I know that the valve cover needed to be replaced. The other, I am not sure.

Do not get your car fixed here. These will gerry-rig it to say they fixed it and scam you on inspection. My 2008 Impala hub sensor wires got spliced by them when they last worked on it and its throwing off my abs sensor. Its went off TWICE since letting them work on it.

Awesome 👌It was a busy day but I was in and out. Four tires and an oil change did not take long at all. Two hours tops.

I got a printed quotation to replace timing belt which said $840. While handing over the quotation manager said there will be little bit of extra charge for the coolant. I did not take this seriously because it doesnt take more than 1 gal of coolant to replace lost volume. I took the car for the service and manager again mentioned about flushing out coolant but never said how much. It was my bad that it never occurred me to ask the price. I went through my car manual but it does not recommend flushing but draining and replacing. When I called the manager he said new price is $137 more for flushing. I said NO I dont need flushing just drain and fill. He he said he cannot give a warranty and there is no thing called draining and filling coolant. I was mad and wanted my car back. Then he says no, mechanic are on it already. I felt deceived. I will NEVER go to Danville Mr. Tires. If coolant flushing is mandatory to give a warranty for timing belt change (which is NOT) then it should have been included in the original quotation. I feel cheated.

I have had to replace all 4 of my tires on 3 separate occasions and each time I have received phenomenal service from these guys. They always manage to squeeze me in and get things done fast. They are very professional and customer oriented! I recommend that you give them a try

From up north, visiting, tight schedule, tire trouble. Scanned tire places, wanted Goodyear shop because of brand, no openings. Googled Danville tires and found Mr. Tire with reasonable reviews. Mike the manager took a look, got me scheduled, made some accommodations, with modest attempt at up sell; the shop kept me informed, car was ready with time to spare, and 600 miles later doing fine. Professional, friendly, competent. No reason not to go there - and five stars for good treatment.

Lets face it. In todays busy world anytime your car brakes down its never in a ideal time or place. I called Mr. Tire and was helped by Curt. He assured me he could get my car looked at quickly. And boy did he deliver. Not only was my car fixed same day but he also arranged a ride home for me and brought my car back to me. Thanks Curt for helping me when others in the area wouldnt

I feel it is one of the type of places that tries to sell you things you dont necessarily need, then they also tack on excessive charges on your bill, like shop supplies after already charging for oil disposal, and shop uses, and tool rentals for them to do the job, would not recommend them at all !

I have been coming here since I moved to Danville 6 years ago. I have never had any issues and their customer service is incredible. I have never once been taken advantage of or asked to do repairs that weren’t warranted. Anyone that I know that needs tires or repairs have been recommended by me to visit here. If you call ahead they are honest about wait times and how many people are ahead of you. I couldn’t ask for more from a repair shop. I came in today close to closing and Johnathan was more than happy to help me get a hole plugged in my tire.

Beat place to go for tires. Wait time was great, I will recommend this place to everyone I know . Service was courteous, PJ was awesome.

Honest, good people. They found an expensive problem. Showed it to me up on the lift and let me leave with no charge of diagnosis because I couldnt afford it at the time. I will definitely return.

I recently had a seamless and excellent experience with the Mr Tire location in Danville, Va. I called and spoke with Johnathan Harding, their General Manager, and he personally arranged for them to pick up my vehicle while I was at work to have a tire rotation and oil change done. I was able to pay for and have the service done without any inconvenience to my normal day. I will definitely be returning when I need anything else done!

Was welcomed in by the mechanic, not a receptionist. All seemed well, however, I waited over an hour watching terrible infomercials and soap operas on their cable TV, until I realized my car still had not been moved. I requested my keys back and left. Went to Cunningham tires and received amazing customer service for less!

Got there close to 8. I was told it could be a 2hr wait,I was expecting it considering how busy these places can be on the weekend. When they did service my automobile, it was done in ample time. Satisfied with the overall experience with exception of the time.

Very rude customer service. They did not honor there coupons. Was supposed to rotate tires and did not do it.

My tire went flat today while putting air in it the stem broke. Got the spare on and took it to Mr. Tire 45 mins before closing...they took it right in with a smile. Stopped in to get a State Inspection. The State Inspector Brian took time to show me that I would need front brakes in the near future but they passed for today. Most shops would have failed the car just to get money but not Mr. Tire, there honesty goes a long way in my book!

I came in from out of town with severe tire damage due to road hazards. The team at this location worked hard and quickly to get me back the road. They were friendly and helpful far beyond my expectations.

Last week, I brought my car in for an oil change and to get a dim headlight replaced, and my mom brought her vehicle in for an oil change as well.My mom didnt remove her car key from the lanyard on which she had multiple keys attached, which turned out to be a big mistake. While working on her vehicle, the mechanic removed the vehicle key from the lanyard because he claimed that the lanyard was bothering him while he was trying to work. This seems like a ridiculous statement to make, considering that an oil change should require minimal time behind the wheel, but the worst part is that they failed to reattach the key to the lanyard before returning they key, instead leaving the lanyard on the passenger seat, and when my mom picked up her lanyard, the house key was missing! We thoroughly searched the vehicle for the key but to no avail, and the mechanic claims that he doesnt know what happened to it.Unfortunately, it gets worse. As I was driving on my way home, I noticed that I was hearing something drag against the road. I immediately stopped and looked under my car to see what was causing the sound and saw that the front shield (the plastic part under the vehicle thats supposed to be attached to the front bumper) was hanging down. Apparently, to replace the headlights in my car, they needed to remove the front bumper, and they forgot to reattach the shield when putting the bumper back on. A little frustrating, but an honest mistake...except for the fact that either in the process of them handling my cars bumper or because of the front shield dragging on the ground, my cars front bumper is now noticeably cracked along the bottom. We called them to complain about this and they refused to take responsibility, instead claiming that it must have have been cracked beforehand, as if I wouldnt have noticed such a clear blemish in an otherwise undamaged car.TLDR: My mom and I took our vehicles in for routine oil changes and to replace my headlight. In the next four hours, they proceeded to lose my moms house key, neglect to reattach my cars front shield, and directly or indirectly crack my cars front bumper, all while refusing to take responsibility.

Mr Tire took care of my problem. No one in Danville takes my aftermarket car Insurance (Silverrock). The service manager Curt worked with them and got the car running again faster than promised. Service like that is hard to find anymore. I will be coming here for all my car needs now.

Beware of “built in fees” 51.96 for Road hazard coverage and 18.48 shop supply fees. At first they refused a refund but after calling corporate and my bank I got a call and they refunded the 51.96. Definitely would have been a one star if they wouldn’t have given a refund for service I didn’t ask for or want.

Gave me a discount on top of what was already discounted because it took a little longer than expected. Great customer service. Provided the best options for what I needed by truthfully informing me of what I was unaware of.

I went to mr. Tired of the day to buy tires for my. I saw tires on the website and went down there to buy them. But they did not have the tires. But they try to sell me some there were a couple hundred dollars more . So Ill order my tires from Walmart and save a couple hundred dollars.

My appointment was at 2pm so I arrived early and they went ahead and took care of me and I was home by 2.Great service very friendly !

Needed wheel bearings replaced. They are way over-priced...each parts labor was priced separately (total of $199 for labor for a job I could easily do and have done in well under an hour). There was a misunderstanding on what the quoted amount was for (which was over the phone)...I asked if it was for bearings on both sides (meaning the vehicle) and they said yes, but meant inner and outer bearings on one side...so the price was actually twice what I thought it was. They had replaced the bearings on the one side and two days later my vehicle was un-drivable (wheel locked when moving forward). The only reason Im giving them two stars is because they did pay for the towing back into their shop and the second repair. When I came back to pick the truck up, I found a dirty impact wrench on my seat and the steering wheel was also dirty. Very aggravating experience!!

Directed me to closest fule stop and only charged me for gas this was a suprise as most would have taken advantage of stranded motorist the service i recived should be an example to all business

Service good and fast! I had my car in at 7:30 a.m. and received a call in just under an hour with the diagnosis. I was unsure about it because three other places had given me thumbs up for what Mr. Tire told me was wrong. They made the fix and my car has run well ever since. Im sold! This is now where Ill go for car maintenance and repairs. You should too. Take my word.

Mr tire made my day go from horrible to awesome I woke up this morning with a flat tire I called the store and talked to johnathan he was very polite and gave excellent customer service I told him what was going on and he told me to come right in and they would fix it for me so I get it there and they had me in and out in 30 min thank you so much mr tire I will definitely be back

The service is horrible.I had a repair(thermostat)placed on the car, 3 weeks later no heat!!! Again.Ok, took the car back to get repaired. No problem. Dropped the car off at 6am first call there. No problem. Called at 1030am to verify the car was ready. Dan states”not yet, still working on it”. No problem. Called @1230pm and they stated “we have not even started on the car!Why didn’t someone call me or my mom to let us know it was an issue?I won’t be going back EVER!! Then I was yelled at and hung up on because I questioned the service. I remained professional and never said a curse word.Only Danville

Be aware of them not performing the services you pay for when you pick up your car.
