Drove over 16 hour round trip from Virginia to get my truck for a better price than I was being offered in state. Confirmed and locked in final sale price before starting our trip. After a hotel stay and day of traveling, We arrive at the Dealership to have the truck be $8,000 over the quoted and confirmed sale price. I would not recommend making a trip to this dealership as they did not honor the price I traveled to acquire. I could have purchased my same 2020 Sierra Denali for $5,000 less in state without a drive and without having to hire an attorney to contact the dealership after the horrible communication and service provided. Save your time and money and buy elsewhere.

Passing through on a work trip and my change oil light had been on for a day or two so I stopped in to see if they could take care of it for me.Not only did they jump right on it, they found nearly completely worn rear brake pads and replaced those as well. All in the amount of time in takes my hometown dealer to do a oil change.Thanks for the great speedy service!

I got a car from them 3 days ago the tires, wheel barrings, and breaks are bad. they refuse to fix it and said i bought it “as is”. Apparently it wasn’t serviced (thats what they said) then they tried to tell me it was, even tho i had to put every kind of fluid you could think of in it including freeon everything was completely empty, if it was serviced they would of fixed the tires, and everything else wrong with it. didnt have an owners manual either. do not recommend at all.
Didnt have any dealings with sales, but the service department was great. They kept me informed of my vehicle status and were very friendly. I was very pleased with how they operated!

I bought a 2019 XT5 Cadillac at Bob Allen last year. Love the car but it developed a rattle in the rear seat that was very annoying. They have been short on loaner cars and since I live about 30 miles away, it was difficult to get it in to have the issue fixed. Debbie Landis who was our sales person has been wonderful to deal with. She jumped in when she heard of the issue and made sure we got a loaner and got the seat problem fixed. Cant say enough good things about her attitude and dedication to serving a customer whether it be sales or service. Appreciate her very much.
Overall very poor experience with deceitful sales practices. When negotiating the price of the truck, the sales rep said he would give me an extra $1,000 for my trade if I would put down a deposit. I agreed and asked for the price sheet to review. Never heard a word from him again. Drove over 2 hours to get to the dealership. Called and texted him, never received a reply or saw him. Ihad asked about pricing for additional features, was told he would get them and let me know. Not a word. When signing paperwork the finance manager was pushing through and acted like he didnt want to give me the price sheet when I asked. I questioned the price of the trade and said it should be 1k more, he insisted I was getting the right price. After reviewing the paperwork at home, I was clearly lied to. Also with the trade, they insisted they could not give me more for my 2017 Ford Expedition Limited because they could only sell it for 28,000-29,000 tops because they dont sell well. Again, I was lied to. They have it listed for 35,000 now, 9,000 more than they have me for my trade. With an 849 credit score, was told the best rates I could get from their preferred lender was about 5.5%. I asked about lower rates, but was told the best they could do for me. I shouldve walked away, but I already drove 2 hours to get there and was tired. As current active military, I cant stand being lied to.

My Company was purchasing a New 2020 Terrain they didn’t have what I was looking for but they was able to find at another dealer. This process started on a Monday and by Saturday morning I was driving my 2020 GMC Terrain Elevation Edition.

Absolutely the best customer service I have ever had!!! While on vacation I had an issue with my truck. Took it to a local dealership in Savannah GA. They said it was an issue from where the truck was assembled at the factory. But they could not get to it for another 2 weeks(I was leaving in 3 days). I called Nick and John at Bob Allen and within 5 minutes(probably less) they had a solution. These guys put a truck on a trailer that night had the driver drive over 12 hours and the next morning dropped the truck off for me to drive on vacation and home(they gave me a truck that only had 6 miles on it, when they pulled it off the trailer and full of gas). They picked mine up and trailered it back to the dealership in Danville. All these guys were worried about was that I was taken care of and got back to enjoying my vacation. Top notch and above and beyond service!! Lastly the dealership in Savannah were so blown away by this service. The Service manager told me “He would buy a vehicle from Bob Allen bc He had never seen customer service like that before”!!Thanks again guys!!
Drove all the way from Knoxville, Tn to purchase a vehicle and bring a check from the bank. We had discussed over the phone details about a Yukon Denali. Upon arrival it was so clean, low miles.....too good to be true? Yep sure was. It was so rusted underneath and the finance manager Chris told us over the phone “no problems, you won’t find a cleaner Denali, underneath is clean, nothing wrong”. LIES! He even told me he would put his own wife in the vehicle with that rust. Such a waste of time. Won’t recommend this dealership to anyone.

I am a shopper - I want the best deal I can find. Bob Allen makes it hard on the other dealers - weve gotten better deals here --- even after shopping and shopping. More importantly, the service is spot on - they always make you feel like you matter, they explain the options to you and make you feel like you are making the right decision. We love Bob Allen GMC and Dodge - good folks.
Horrible dealership. Steer clear. We drove down from Ohio to purchase a car here and they didn’t fill out the titling paperwork correctly multiple times and so the state kept sending the paperwork back to the dealer. We also had a nail in our tire and their repair shop tried to repair it prior to us leaving the lot with our new car. Their shop broke the tire sensor and told us to get it fixed in Ohio and send them the bill. On the way home the plug failed and we ended up having to get new tires. The dealership promised to pay for our broken tire sensor and a new tire. It took many phone calls and 2 months later to get a check from the dealership. Finally, the manager sold us a fraudulent extended warranty. He word for word told us our warranty would “cover everything bumper to bumper besides tires, brakes, etc.” When reading through the paperwork and finding out more details about our warranty we found out that it only covers the powertrain and nothing anywhere close to bumper to bumper. They lied and obviously are terribly managed. We will never buy another vehicle from a dishonest dealership such as Bob Allen. This experience has been so disappointing.

I purchased my Tahoe through this dealership. It took well over 6 weeks to get my vehicle and when it finally arrived the paperwork had to be filled out multiple times (because of their screw up) and they didnt provide me with plates. I leased this car from NJ and the process couldnt have been more painful. Because I didnt have plates they mailed them to the DMV instead of my home. After a three hour wait at the DMV Todd was apologetic and told me to pick any GMC part and that he would send it to me. I also told him there was a surplus of over $500 for the check that was given at the DMV. He said, Brian this is the worst experience anyone has ever experienced buying a car from us - well send you a check for that amount to make up for this. I was satisfied and at no point did I lose my poise or patience. I gave him multiple months to send it. Not only did he not send it but he appeared to be taunting me when I asked for it. I wouldnt use these guys. Probably 100 Chevy dealers out there that will keep their word after screwing a customer over. Never did get that trailer hitch cap either. PS I never write negative reviews.

Bought a dodge off of them a few days ago. Messed up my paper work and didnt catch it till i got home and relized thats not what we agreed on and BOB ALLENS own daughter got mad because we didnt take that stupid gap insurance because her words im bob allens daughter and i would get the gap insurance if i was you(which is the same thing as full coverage with your insurance). Suppose to have my truck delievered yesterday and they ran out of time. Called and said it would be in my driveway by 9am (we are a hour behind danville) and i had things to do today and i called the lot and apparently the drivers phones dead and dont know where hes at which makes no sense what so ever to have a dead phone first thing in the morning. But i would not recommend bob allen to anybody ever
