Went in for a washer lid lock switch for a hotpoint washer. I had the switch in hand the man stated he never seen the piece before and kept on confirming that it came off the washer. He even explained he needed a part number to even look up the information cause he never seen the part before. I explained several times it did. I really needed one asap. I looked online through the manufacturer website as well as other sites. The manufacturer was $15 higher than the other sites. I was instantly informed if he got it then it would be triple than any price online because he orders directly from the manufacturer. I immediately left will never go back there again.

When making an inquiry about purchasing a gas stove, the “butt-in-ski” sitting near by, interrupted with a brusk, rude, loud voice volume to tell me why the question I was posing was not possible. I had no choice but to leave the store vowing that I’d NEVER do business with Danville Appliance. It seems the man who spoke to me in such a rude tone is not interested in cultivating customers / new business. (A lesson in customer service would serve him well.)

Outrageously expensive! $85 for a diagnostic & $75 an hour. Found a $45 Diagnostic & $35 an hour. Had my thermostat fixed in no time.

I called to see if they had a part and they did. Went right over and picked it up at a fair price. And finally replaced the part and was drying clothes in no time.

Hey these guys are great! My brother in law told me to go here. I needed an element for my electric stove and by the way I didnt even know what an element was until these guys told me they matched me with one compatible to fit my stove for $40 & told me how to install it. Thats service!

Purchased a part from here took it home and did not fit. Wanted to return it and they said they do not do refunds. Out over 60 dollars for something I can not use.

They had what I needed and were very helpful but their prices were too high. I found the same part only for 8 dollars whereas their part is 42 dollars.

I was charged $69.00 fot a tech to spend 7 minutes in my home to tell me that my window air conditioner wasnt worth repairing and even if I purchased and had them install a new unit no portion of that $69.00 would be applied toward my bill. I would have appreciated being apprised of that detail when I called about service BUT I WAS NOT! ITS CALLED THE GOTCHA.

I purchased the incorrect element for my oven from Danville Appliance. This was a part they stocked, I never even removed it from the packaging, and I took it back the next day, but I was refused a return. They were patronizing and dismissive when I bought the part, and doubly so when I tried to return it. The only positives were that the part was on hand and the price was competitive - a pretty low standard, really. However, the TOTAL failure on the customer service front wipes even those modest pluses away completely. Amazon has whatever you need, with friendly and prompt customer service. Next time Ill shop ANYWHERE else, even if it means we have to go without an oven/dryer/etc for a day or two.

Beware Beware Beware !!! Total rip off. Came to check refrigerator & washer. Was told a part was needed for fridge but no guarantee so wait 24 hrs to see if fixed. Then looked at washer, told it would cost from $350-$400 to fix & im better off buying a new washer! Charged me $177!!! The next day I called Larry’s Appliances found in Piedmont Shopper. Larry came out fixed my washer is approximately 15 mins!!! Then he noticed a part needed to be replaced but washer works fine now. I asked how much I owed him. He told me when the part comes in he will bill me then!!! I also had him check refrigerator & was told it’s ok for now but should last another year. If you need an appliance fixed call Larry’s Appliances. He is the man to call. He’s the BEST!!!🏆

These are the most rude and racist people to run a business Ive ever encountered. I called asking about a evaporator fan motor. First of all he quoted me a price of about $40 bucks over the phone then hung up on me. I go over to the store and ask about the same part so its $120 now and its the last one. I tell him he told me it was about $40 on the phone. He said I mustve misunderstood. Really... by the way I will never buy from them
