This is my first time visiting this Guitar Center 🎸, OMG, music Instruments of all variety, designer music Instruments and all sorts from Pearl, SPL, Mapex, Gretsch, DW drums, Tama Drums, Ludwig, PDP, Rogue drums etc. 🥁 They have used and new products at all great prices. Also, Gear of various designs and qualities.The Center operate a free guitar lesson by October 30th from 11:15Am for Kids and from 12pm for adults.Electronic V-Drums design by Roland, others designed by Simmons, Alexis.

Tristan was awesome. I know nothing about Acoustic Guitars. I was looking to buy one as a gift for my wife. Tristans honesty was awesome. I left that store feeling like I got my moneys worth for sure. She was so excited too. Thank man!! When its time to buy her an upgrade Ill be looking for you!

First time going to a music so not sure how it compares to other stores. I was impressed by the amount of instruments and accessories that they have here. Pretty much all that you need they have it. You can also try the guitars or other instruments, they have alot of them.Staff seemed friendly and they wanted to help, I was asked a couple of times if i had any questions.Definitely going there again.

Place has been around forever what can you say about the guitar center!!If you are a musician you love this place.. well even if youre not its a fun place to be. They never give you a hard time about playing the instruments trying things out..Great people great instruments and products for musicians!!So great to see a place like this still around!!I hope it stays around forever!!

Staff was RAD. Helped my niece get setup with a guitar and the works. Signed her up for reasonable lessons and she even took a quick 15 minute warmer before she left. Awesome experience.

Enjoyable time. Staff lets you play without trying to sell you something, but ready and knowledgeable when you need them.

The staff at Guitar Center 🎸 is awesome. They answered all my questions and Im now the proud owner of Ibanez Artcore Expressionist guitar made of zebrawood.

No stock, lackluster service. Audio department is always trying to update me😂

Ben was super helpful in teaching me about guitars and guitar shopping. I went in with the intention of looking around and left with a quality guitar and much more knowledge than I started with. Ben was friendly, fun, and knew exactly what I was looking for.

Great store with good stuff for good prices but the cashier was waaaay too pushy about the warranty on a clip on tuner and was downright rude when i said no, saying alright if it breaks your buying a new tuner. really soured my experience

Awesome customer service. Everyone is patient, knowledgeable and willing to help. It isnt about the big sale, but about what the customer needs. Thr manager Jay was especially awesome when we were stocking our family up with Santa finds.

Danvers Guitar Center has some great customer service. The staff is excellent at being aware of customers in need of assistance and service,and always give me all the attention, information and time I need to assure me the selections I make fit my needs and preferences. I live in New Hampshire and will drive to the Danvers Guitar Center because they know how to treat a customer.

Jay manager was amazingly helpful and great personality..others were helpful and nice, too. Jay made it easy to return and order new items. Very patient!

Friendly staff, good selection of stringed instruments and pianos

Super friendly staff and knowledgeable even close to closing on a holiday. Selection is a bit small in regards to the DJ equipment and floor models are tough to evaluate (cans, controllers, DAWS, mixers, turntables). Im sure guitarists will have a blast and as a drummer it was easy to test out some equipment.

It was refreshing to walk into here after almost 10 years to see that everyone is just as friendly and helpful as before. Covid guidelines were in place and implemented well. Ill be visiting more often for sure. 💯🎸🎤

Ordered a bass to be delivered for store pickup, only to find out after UPS tried to deliver it several times that this location is closed. Ended up having to call customer service several times to get the package rerouted to my apartment. Arrived today and there is a crack on the body and I have to return it. I’m not one to leave bad reviews but I will never purchase from Guitar Center again after this ordeal. Unprofessional.

Did an excellent job rewiring and setting up my SG.

I went to look for an acoustic classical guitar. I had seen some in their online inventory but didnt find the same there. There were very few choices, in the acoustic section guitars were mostly steel stringed and all nylon string guitars (the four or five of them) were acoustic electric. Also all out of tune. After a long while someone came to help me and told me thats all there was (that person was nice and helpful). I found it a noisy disorganized place and was disappointed. Definitely dont cater to classical guitarists, but I dont recommend overall. Find a mom and pop store who will care about you.

Went in for some sheet music and ended up purchasing a Yamaha YDP 184! The salesman Elijah was excellent and very helpful. I got it home and wow! Best purchase ever!

Was looking for good left handed starter guitar for a gift. People in there were patient, courteous and got me every thing I needed including case, cable, amp and a very nice sounding squier telecaster. Im happy.

This place is a music lovers dream. They have literally everything you might need. Guitars line the walls from ceiling to floor, and for acoustic guitars they have a special room to keep the sounds and humidity at the required levels. Humidity is important for the acoustic guitars.For electric guitars, they have plenty of amps to plug and play into, though its probably best not to go crazy.In another section, they have drum kits available, most if not all are available to test and try out for sound. Along one of the walls there are electric kits which allow you to get a feel for all the different sound options you have. You can also adjust volume and you wont be bothered if you decide you want to play on one for an hour. I spent 2 hours of my time playing drums to my hearts content- remember though, youre in a store and youre basically using display product.In an enclosed room behind the kits, there are cymbals for purchase and to test sound on.Towards the back, theres keyboards and tonnes of other instruments I didnt get the chance to explore more of.Whether new or professional, Guitar Center is the place to go if you want to actually see, hear, and feel the kind of instrument and accessories you get. You wont be disappointed if you actually get to try it out!

Great staff. Went to the drums section and played drums for a straight 4 hours without no one bothering me. Tip: if you want to play your own music, I suggest bringing headphones and phone, both fully charged, because you might just stay there for an unexpected amount of time.

The staff is very helpful. I had a million questions when I went in as I was buying a gift for my husband. They answered every one of my questions with a smile. They did not seem to mind how long it took or that i knew nothing about what i was trying to buy. They all seem to really enjoy what they do.

This place was so cool. They let you play on any instrument and I never realized how big the place really is! Each area had its own section in the building. Plus I didnt know the offer lessons on almost every instrument you can think of! Definitely will visit again.

I purchased a used amplifier from this store online. I was very impressed with how quickly it shipped, the price was very reasonable. It was Roland Micro Cube, and needed a power supply. They went out of their way to find one for me. The shipping packing was excellent. The amp was in good condition. Very pleased with the service from this store.

Me and my husband had an awesome experience. So much so we came back to the same location all the way from Quincy. He was searching for a PRS custom 24 and thanks to the staff at this location they were able to accommodate him with everything we needed! We were originally waiting for a slightly used one to arrive from another store but it just wasnt the same as the new one. The employee that had helped us from the beginning completely understood and we still ended up getting a great deal and great customer service!!!

Not like I remember it. The brick-and-mortar stores feel like theyre taking a backseat to online retailers, and it shows when you walk in. Not many customers, employees dont seem all that excited about product. More friendly than when I worked there, however.

Amazing size for a music store. They have a big selection in terms of the breadth of things they offer, but there aren’t that many options of some things. Needed a guitar case, and they didn’t have the kind I wanted. They could have ordered it, but so can I (and I did). But the staff is nice, and it was a fun experience.

I had no problem dropping my guitar off for service. Tech was great.My only problem was there was only one person in the drum section. He was doing a good job, but he was busy and I couldnt get help. You need 2 people at least working drums.

Great help and very informational in helping us pick out a keyboard for our daughter for Christmas. We wanted to upgrade the one she has and they helped us pick out the perfect upgrade.

Extremely knowledgable, helpful and pleasant staff. On of the more larger stores in the area. They have a large inventory on the floor and even more in the warehouse area. Now that they are offering lessons its even better than it was. Love this place and will continue to recommend this location top all my musician and aspiring musical friends.

As musicians, this is our one stop shop for ALL our audio needs. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable., and if they dont know the answer, theyll find you someone who does. They always try to get us the best deals, and we are always receiving coupons via email. They have reasonably priced warranty plans that are fulfilled immediately should you have any issues. Some items can be pricey, but overall we recommended shopping here.

Helpful staff!. Lots of guitars. We went to buy a keyboard on a rainy day. The one guy helped us get it into our tiny car safely! The keyboard was on sale. And its been giving me no problems!! Was pretty easy to set up too.

Sometimes its good sometimes its bad, it seems like everytime i ask a question though no one seems to know what they are talking about. I bought a midicontroler which I love but when asking the difference between two one man gave me specs the other said they are all the same. Today I went in to buy an adapter for android to an audio interface and the man behind the counter tells me to buy an adapter and hook it through the back. When it didnt work I called to ask if I was doing something wrong and the response on the phone was I dont know I dont do it like that. So now feeling I wasted money on a useless adapter and a headache from dealing with such stupidity.

Great service! It is really that you have 45 days to turn most great back. The last time I went I bought some gear for around 400 dollars, then turn it back the day after and changed for something worth 370 and they gave me 30 back. The day after I came back return the second thing I got and asked for my money back, which they did give me. Honestly super happy, i wouldnt go anywhere else to buy stuff.

Personnel is the thing which makes any store a good store. Very friendly like they know customers for decades. It was a good experience being there. The only issue with store is limited variety of products. And this lack of products leaves customer with no choice. Everything else is a right. Thanks, guys.

One of the largest Guitar Centers in Massachusetts. The pro audio section has separate rooms for some of the keyboards and for speakers/monitors so you can listen without the distraction of other sound.The selection is extensive yet there is still room to walk around.

You can sit down with a guitar that you like and try it out. If you dont want that guitar because everybody else has tried it out. They will order you a brand new one untouched!

Visited during busy Christmas season and staff was still, to my amazement, able to attend each customer with concern, promptness and satisfactory results.

This store has a lot of instruments available. They also have a lot of books and resources you can use if you are planning on learning an instrument. the people in the drum section are usually really helpful and will answer all of your questions as well as the people in the guitar section. If the people in those sections cannot answer your question they will usually call someone or look up the information for you. However the people in the piano section may not answer your questions or may not be knowledgeable about all of the instruments. I have seen people standing there waiting for help and not get help for a while. The parking lot is also small so youre not always guaranteed parking when you go.

This is my favorite GC near me. I always get good treatment there in the guitar Department. The last gentleman I dealt with was great but I am sorry I forgot his name. Dean is another good guy to deal with and they always make you feel welcome and talk with you about what you may be looking for.

Brought in my daughters ukulele that had a mild rattle. I was considering just getting a new one, but was told that a $24 restringing might fix the problem. I dropped it off and asked them to call if more extensive work was required, since replacing would again maybe be a better option. The only call I got was a week later letting me know it was ready. When I picked it up, the charge was $56 for restringing plus a setup. At no point during dropoff, while it was in the store, or even when I was called that it was ready was I informed of the additional charge. Its not a huge amount, but it was annoying to be charged more than double what I was quoted without getting a chance to approve the work.The work seems to have been done well, so they get 3 stars for that.

I visit Guitar Center for almost all of my musical needs! Staff is super awesome and really knows their stuff, and even when they dont, they wont try to pretend but instead find somebody who does. Recommended!
