This place is the least professional shop Ive ever dealt with. They dont answer the phone. They close unexpectedly. Just avoid.

Dropped my KTM 450 EXC R off on 12/2/2020 for a clutch repair, new tires and a tune up. Picked up the bike today (9/7/2021.) after a bunch of back and forth nonsense. $1010 and 9 months later, clutch works (repaired not replaced) no new tires, bike won’t start and now no rear brake at all. Should have read the other reviews and I probably wouldn’t be in this situation. My fault.

Bought my 2015 Ducati Panigale here. I also bring my bike into Motofit for regular service. The team is always very friendly and knowledgeable. They are very reasonably priced for dealership service. I will continue to bring my bike back here when needed. Thank you Motofit team!!!!

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! This review might sound similar to past reviews, but everything that other people have said is true and I made the same mistake by bringing my bike here. I wish I had read the reviews prior to deciding to getting my bike fixed. The only reason I brought my bike here was because this is where I bought my 2015 Ducati Scrambler. As other people have said, this place is full of lies and excuses and they give no thought or care to their customers. From saying that parts weren’t there to making up more excuses to charge more. My motorcycle was brought in mid March for a tire change, oil change, and to fix an ignition problem causing the bike to stall that was from a recall with certain Ducati motorcycle models. They never called to follow up and we had to show up and pressure them to work on the motorcycle. We did not get the motorcycle back until July and charged over $2,500 for a bike that only has 3,000 miles on it! As another person said this place should get no stars. I am baffled by how Ducati would certify this dealer to represent them. This place is a scam and they have zero respect for their customers and honestly have no idea what they are doing. I will never be returning here ever again, one of the worst experiences of my life. I too will be reporting this place to the better business bureau for their mistreatment and negligence. People have been writing reviews since 2017 and they seem to not care about improving anything that they do. Oh and like everyone else has stated, if you don’t the amount they want, they aren’t willing to give you your bike back. I would be embarrassed to own a place like this. Easy to get 4.1 stars when youre paying bots to give you high ratings. GO TO YELP AND READ TRUE REVIEWS TO AVOID GETTING SCAM!!!

I found out about them via google. I submitted a credit app LAST Wednesday. I called today because I had not heard from anyone and Brandon or Brendan answered the phone and sounded annoyed I called. He then put me on hold for over 10 min and then hung up. I called back he then put me on hold again and came back after 5 minutes and said I would need to put a deposit down before they ran my credit because they are doing the legwork. He said they would then and ONLY then tell me the finace terms. I said no im NOT giving you a deposit before you tell me financing. Oh and the kicker is I live approx 3 hrs from them and was willing to travel to purchase.

Honest review: This dealership employs people who have 0 sales rep expertise. In my opinion, they should really invest in hiring people who dont act like they are hanging out in their livingroom just chilling. My husband went and paid $4,000 up front for a bike that kept coming it will be here soon and the most magical response from Tess, it will get here when it gets here. 4 weeks went by and he ended up purchasing another bike that he did not intended to in the first place, just to get over the situation. Ah! and when we went to pick up the bike, it was still not ready. Please listen to your hunch when you get here and if it doesnt feel right, move on to the next shop.

Staff was friendly, but very little inventory. Very much a Ducati dealer as most of their bikes came from the brand. No helmets or other accessories.

Dave at Motofit was a nice guy and gave me a fair deal on a new KTM order. I waited months and kept being told the bike is coming. By the end of May. By the end of June. By the end of July. Around this time I noticed everyone else was getting their bikes. I asked him twice to call his KTM rep. He told me he did and rep said it was coming.I finally called KTM in Ohio and had them look in to it. They called back 3 days later and said it is not coming and “Motofit is not eligible to get that model.” What a waste of time.I actually believe Dave thought he was getting the bike as he even ordered parts for it at his expense. His rep however should not have a job with KTM….he should be flipping burgers.Beware.

Just got my 2017 ktm 450 (6 days) from these guys and I am so pleased. I happened to stop by thinking maybe they would still have one and there is was. I met with Dan the sales manager and he told they had one left. We worked out a great deal with my trade in and financing. The whole staff was awesome. They were so helpful and knowledgeable. Service techs were friendly and easy to converse with. I am definitely using them for my future repairs. Dan took my DR 400 trade in and me on the new bike for a test ride up a cool little industry road, which was a blast. Dan went over the whole bike with me and even gave it a wipe down before I left. Five stars all the way!

Great experience! Even in the height of the covid 19 pandemic, the manager Dave was able to accommodate my needs, all while doing the transaction within pandemic guidelines. No scams, no secret fees, just straight forward business with great customer service! Bought a new bike a few years back. Went to pick it up and noticed it kept stalling at idle when sales guy rode it over and it was all dirty. Started riding home and bike kept stalling, oil was leaking out of air box on to exhaust causing lots of smoke. Then the battery died. This all happened on my ride home with my new bike. I managed to jump the bike and got it home. I called dealership and nobody answered the phone. I left a message and waited several days for someone to return the call. No call. Never will I recommend this place to anyone. Once they had my money they could care less about my problems with my New bike. Also never got the owners manual or the key to the fork lock because they said they couldnt find them.

Havent purchased a bike from them yet but was in the store recently and they were very laid back and helpful, Dan really knows his stuff. Immediately remembered what bike i rode when visiting them 6 months prior and reviewed the new inventory and made some recommendations. Waiting on filing taxes and will give them a call to see what they can do on a new enduro in a few weeks.

I went in to get some info on the Ducati’s and Dan really took care of me. He told me everything there is to know about the different models available. Starting from the history all the way down to every specification of each bike. Everyone there was very accommodating and welcoming, I even got the chance to meet some of the regulars there (that we’re servicing their bikes) and felt like one big family. But to top it all off I was able to test drive the new 2019 Ducati 959 Panigale which put a huge smile on my face, and after the ride Dan didn’t mind staying late to break down the numbers down for me although the store was past its closing hours. Top notch service! 👌🏽

I had a great experience with Motofit. Went there on Saturday and they had the 2017 KTM Duke 690 in stock that I specifically wanted. Got a good deal on the bike and the sales manager, Dan, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful throughout the entire process. He himself delivered the bike to my house three days later, and he took about 30 minutes going over the features of the bike and then the paperwork to complete the sale. Dan made the whole process seamless and I highly recommend them if youre in the market for a bike.

I bought a White KTM 1290 Super Duke R from MOTO FIT in October. Im finally getting around to posting my review. I was skeptical of purchasing the bike from them due to some bad reviews I read here. I live on Long Island and could of just as easily bought the bike from a dealer on the Island. When I was at Moto Fit and saw there service area which is small but clean and highly visible where you could actually see the bike being serviced I liked that. There are a younger bunch of guys there that ride them selves and are true enthusiast, I like that . Dan was my salesman and he was pretty patient with me took me over a month to decide the color and if I was truly even going to buy the bike. He had a lot of ideas on exhaust and other custom bits to enhance the bike if I desired. The atmosphere was laid back not rushing and calm . The finance area and staff there to was top notch. I will be going back in the spring for my 1st service and looking forward to possibly upgrading my exhaust. You cant judge by every review Im an example of that. I almost didnt go threw with the purchase with them and that would of been a mistake. I feel like they had me in a family type setting or at least very welcomed at that. They treated me better then the dealer of KTM on the island. So for me there my #1 choice its worth the hour and forty five minute drive one way for me cause I like the way they operate..

My personal experience working with Keith Baker and Richard was fantastic. They did not try to push a bike on me, rather they were more concerned that I found the bike that spoke to me the most. Keith was insistent that I test ride a variety of brands and styles to find the best bike for my style of riding. Richard was very helpful in helping me secure financing for the bike, and gave me some very good advice about where to get the best financing.In the end I got a KTM 1290 Superduke R, fantastic bike!

The guys over at Motofit are amazing! Dan, the sales manager, knew I was in search of my first sport bike and knew I wanted a Ducati. Well it just so happened that he had a 2014 Ducati 899 Panigale for sale. At first I was not able to afford the asking price, but Dan was able to negotiate the price in order for me to purchase the bike. I can not thank the guys over there enough for what they did for me and for honestly fulfilling one of my goals of owning a Ducati! Their customer service is great and the guys are very knowledgeable! Highly recommend going to Motofit if you are in search of bike!

I bought a brand new KTM from Motofit and within a day or so the bike would not run. I called them right away and during business hours but no answer so I left a message. Several day went by and still no return call even after I called again. Finally I went to another KTM dealership for the repair only to find that Motofit had never registered the bike with KTM USA, so the ECU was on demo mode and the bike would only run for the preset time on demo mode. The other dealership had to contact KTM USA and take care of the paperwork that Motofit didnt. Motofit left me and my brand new bike stranded, and after I finally did get them on the phone they didnt care. Since Ive now had the bike for some time I see that who ever prepped the bike did such a poor job, there are stripped threads and the seat wasnt put on correctly so it crushed and damaged wires and so much more.There is a reason why this company has a poor rating.

Keith Baker allowed my transition and trade from my Harley Davidson to the world of Ducati as seamless as possible. It usually takes a lot for me to write a review, but between his 24/7 approach to customer service and his going above and beyond to help me even after the sale was secured spoke volumes of his capacity as a salesman and a representative for Ducati.*I understand this was my review from Yelp as well, there was no better way for me to phrase my experience.*

The deal I worked out to purchase the bike with Dan was very reasonable. When I go back for maintenance, Dan, Mike, Dave and the mechanic have given me gave several pointers, tips and good explanations regarding the bike in general. They are just great guys with well placed passion - and exhibited great customer service skills. Dave took care of the work order. He did a great job of providing details and comments regarding the work effort. He has a broad understanding of the bike and what needed to be done. Brandon was the mechanic who did the work. After completing all of the assigned tasks, he gave me time to answer any questions I might have. I had a few, and he shared his knowledge - granting me as much face time as I felt I needed, and providing good solid answers. You could certainly feel the passion he has for his job, and enjoyment for sharing tips and knowledge. Certainly a great overall experience. That included the ride home on RT 7! Watch out for the State Trooper at the intersection of Rt 7 and Rt 44. Ha ha.

OMG is all i can say about my experience here!!! Absolutely the best!! Everyone there was very professional and helpful!! I came in just to purchase some accessories and told them that i just got my bike and it was due for its first service, which i had already scheduled but the place i bought it from couldnt get me in until Thursday (it was now Saturday). With no appointment or anything they squeezed me right in and took care of me, although it took a long time it was not a problem for me as i literally just walked in, plus Mike the General Manager apologized like every 5mins for the wait and was constantly checking in on the mechanic seeing where he was at so he could give me updates! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for anything bike related!! A+++++ work and A++++ service!!!

Another zero star experience. Dan took my deposit over the phone and never emailed an invoice as promised. A week later, after prodding, an unofficial email with more warranty offers than anything else, with a single final sales price that didnt match up bc it had hidden fees never discussed. After several ignored emails, ignored phone calls, lies from his colleagues of his whereabouts, calling from different numbers so they answered, and screaming over the phone bc Dan will try to talk over and around you, he refused to refund my deposit although I had never received an invoice. Charge disputed through the bank and refund awarded. Buying a new motorcycle is supposed to be exciting in a good way. Motofit and Ducati Dan will ruin that experience.

I worked with Dan who let me test ride the 2 bikes I was interested in (a KTM and a Ducati) and rode along with me. The shop was very busy that day however he took his time going over all the features on the 2 bikes and ultimately helped me make a decision. He gave me a great price on the new Ducati and helped me get my monthly finance payment to where I wanted it. I returned the next day on my old bike which I planned to trade and Dan offered me a fair price. The new bike was ready to go and Dave helped me go through all the paperwork so I could ride it home. Dan and Dave treated me with the utmost respect and made my buying experience a great one. This is the second bike I have purchased here and both experiences have been great.

My husband bought a KTM Adventure from MotoFit in October 2018. He had nothing but good things about the dealership and Dan, the sales representative that sold him the bike, which he also expressed in his review (See review from Michael D). He loved that bike and was so excited about it, but sadly he passed away suddenly in December. It breaks my heart that he only got to ride that bike maybe five (short) times.Although I can’t comment on the service department at MotoFit because the bike was new, I can say that they will go out of their way for their customers. I can’t say enough good things about Dan. Not wanting to sell the bike as a single female with absolutely no clue about it, I decided to call Dan since my husband had so many great things to say about him. He was nothing but helpful and honest about my options. I ultimately decided to consign the bike with them because I was more than confident that my husbands motorcycle was going to be taken care of, and sold by someone that knows what they are talking about.Definitely check out MotoFit if you want to deal with a great dealership with impeccable customer service. Talk to Dan, he will go above and beyond to make his customers happy and gives good, honest advice.

It was awful. I asked for them to do a service and put a part on my dirt bike. They took almost a month a for the service and they delivered my bike to me without the new exhaust pipe on he bike. Then they said they were under new management, so we went back for a conversion kit for my other bike. They never order it or called us back.

UPDATED REVIEW: WHAT A CHANGE!It was time to change my bike for another KTM. I had tried out MotoFIT two years ago and was disappointed, but given how local they are I tried again. Over the past couple of years Dan Dineen has (re?)joined and revamped the place - theyre responsive, know their bikes and clearly LOVE to ride - they have gone above and beyond on service and responsiveness, helped me trade my existing KTM and frankly I could not have asked for more. Dans even invited me out to ride some local trails and teach this old man some riding skills, which I sadly lack.Highly recommend you check this place out.

Just bought my second motorcycle from Motofit. This time a new Ducati XDiavel. I can’t tell you how impressed I was with sales manager Dan Dineen’s knowledge of Ducati motorcycles. He was extremely helpful and patient through the whole purchasing process. The whole Motofit team was awesome.

I went in last week and worked with Chris and Dave. They helped me get a feel for all the different types of bikes they offered and showed me which bike suited me best for my wants and needs. I fell in love with a zx6r ninja and Chris and Dave worked hard to help me get my payment where I wanted to be and went out of their way to stay late one night after I got out at 8 Pm just to cram the paper work in! Would recommend Motofit Danbury to everyone and anyone! Thanks again so much guys.

Im assuming all of these great reviews are paid for or done by management as there is no way anyone walks out of Motofit a happy camper. Very disorganized, false promises and they never call you back. The sales guy Dan is a kid and very unprofessional. The service tech couldnt figure out how to put a 2014 monster back to stock map from a termi map. I had to help him. I returned my bike to stock to take the exhaust and sell my bike to them. Once we agreed on price, I was told I had to come back to get paid since they didnt have the title yet (it was financed). I came back after they got it and when I arrived they couldnt give me a check again because they needed some other form of sign off. Keep in mind before making that last trip I verified with Mike that Id be getting paid. although angry, I kept my cool and went home again. I then called a few days later knowing full well they wouldnt call me and they said they finally had my check. I went and got it and that was that. I live an hour away! Ive never witnessed such horrible customer service in my entire life. Go to New Haven Powersports instead.

The service so far is wonderful they gave me all the info I need to be a happy coustomer I guess its hit or miss

This was my first experience with Motofit after relocating back here from CA. and 3 previous Ducati Sport bikes. I took delivery of a 2017 Ducati Supersport with the tuned Akropovic System installed and the bike does everything right and quickly!! I cant thank Dan, Dave, and Brendan for their professionalism and attention to detail and making every aspect of this experience terrific. I would highly recommend this dealership and staff to anyone that has a passion to ride motorcycles! Avanti Ducati!!
