I dont recommend, they make the wrong order, even when paying, they want you to get back in the queue, you order and say your order twice and you still have the ability to do it wrong. 10-23-2021 worst

The Padanaram location has gone downhill fast! Orders are wrong or half the size. Ordered large fries costing me $5 and only received less than a small order. Ordered a hash brown and did not get it. These issues happen many times and is not isolated. I hate that I will have to open up and check the complete order going forward because I can no longer trust them!!!!

Seriously fantastic bagels, delicious, to die for. But they literally dont know how to toast them. I think they microwave them when you ask for it toasted. Theyll be warm, but not toasted. Very strange. Still worth it, though.

This location dosnt even compare to the one on Mill Plain and Brookfield. Such a disorganized system for pick up orders and customers dining in. Going to start sticking to the other spot even though I live closer to this one now. Disappointing.

Best bagels in New England, possibly the entire USA!They have a friendly staff who is fast, and smart. Great coffee, great variety of cream cheeses and bagels. I like that they hire local students and train them to be fast, and efficient. Ive never been disappointed, except when I get home and wish I bought some extra bagels!

Dont bother calling and ordering ahead of time. They are so unorganized behind the counter you have to wait in the regular order line just to be acknowledged by the staff.

Hands down the best bagel shop in Danbury.The homemade spread is very different from Dunkin’ Donuts you can tell it’s fresh and the bagels are just out of the world

Amazing bagels and amazing service. That business couldnt be more well managed in any shape or form. Everyone is moving and working hard to get things done. I was immensely impressed by everything. The manager must be extremely proud to have such hard working employees. I wish I lived near that place because I would be there daily. I hope the people there are getting payed well. They deserve it.

Long lines but the breakfast sandwiches and the lunch are great the line moves fast but better to call ahead and order.

How is it that hard to grill onions? Having it on the shove for a minute doesn’t make it grilled, barely brown and still raw. Plus making me pay .20 cents extra wasn’t really worth it.

Absolutely annoyed. I understand a lot of us are without power but today was unacceptable. The 15 people that came after me were served before me, leaving me waiting over 25 minutes for scrambled eggs.... you left out half of what I ordered and paid for. Even after I complained that I had been waiting forever, you made me wait even longer. Unacceptable. I worked in food services for years and this, just no. I won’t come back to this location again, glad there is another location in Danbury - they have never been as unprofessional as this.

Pricey and zero social distancing in this place. Waited 20 minutes for two bagels with cream cheese. Had I known it would take that long I would have left. But you pay first then youre stuck. Jalapeno cream cheese was good they got a star for that.

Drove down from New Fairfield for a sandwich. I went into the store at 140pm Sunday afternoon and the girl behind the counter said they were closed.

Wow. Their bagels are so fresh, the bacon is cooked to perfection, its crunchy and full of flavors and i saw so many different varieties of bagels and cream cheese i couldnt even choose. i got an onion bagel bacon egg and cheese and a plain, and they were both fantastic i would definitely recommend coming here to a friend or family member and will return here for sure!

Breakfast sandwiches are the highlight of my Bagelman visit, and although the prices are a little on the higher side, the taste of their SEC w/Hashbrown keeps you coming back. Only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because there have been several times where I order a breakfast sandwich with a hashbrown and they forget to put it on.

Words cannot describe how good these bagels are. My wife and I came in to town from Syracuse, NY to visit friends for the weekend and they got us breakfast from here and we were stunned. Sausage, egg and cheese on an Everything bagel with hot sauce and a hash brown and a bacon egg and cheese on an Everything bagel and they were mind blowing. Best bagels we have ever had. Perfect amount of salty and savory in the bagel and so much flavor across the board. We came back the next morning for another round of breakfast sandwiches and the staff was fantastic and fast with service. The bagels were so good I bought a half dozen to take back home to Syracuse. My only regret is that we do not live here in Danbury, because I would eat here for breakfast every day and never get tired of it, the bagels are THAT good.

Placed online order, the service was quick and order was ready on time but the order was not correct. didnt think to check it before I left. they forgot the bacon, slightly disappointed. tried calling several times to place the order but no one picked up so did it online. Oct 19, 2019the receipt said bacon and they hand wrote bacon on the box of the bagel so I dont exactly know why it was forgotten.still the best bagel place around, i will just be checking my order if i place it online.

You can’t be serious with this place. With 6 employees, I had to wait 10 minutes for a bagel with butter NOT toasted, elderly people waiting even longer than I did who were ahead of me in line.Another customer NOT going back. It’s not the 1st time this has happened. Ridiculous for people in their way to work.

I swear to you, this is the worst Bagelman! Not only are they problematic, they are very cheap with everything! I seem to always have an issue here whereas the other locations are so easy going. I ordered a raisin bagel with cream cheese and I got a very thin layer just enough to cover the bagel. I ordered a Classic and they were cheap with onion, lettuce, tomato, and cream cheese. The kids here are young, rude, and with attitudes. Beware.

I go to the the Bagelman on Mill Plain all the time for over 15 years. I stopped that this one because I was on that end of town and I have to say it was one of the worst experiences Ive ever had. I ordered the the same special sandwich that they offer at the Mill Plain branch. First off it was $9.75. Which I am ok with because it usually Rocks!!! Then it came on a hard roll and was only mediocre at best after taking almost 15 minutes to get. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! 🙁

Their coffee is absolutely a garbage. Any coffee at any gas station tastes better.

Always a quick and easy bite to eat. Theyve gotten more help and more efficient over the years and with the remodel, it looks great. Food is always tasty and never q bad meal there. Does get crowded pretty quickly, but the wait is never too bad. Coffee is good and the selection of baked goods is awesome. I always get my breakfast sandwich on a croissant so just in case you were wondering, its more than bagels! Theyve got a deli too.

I come in most weekdays for the gluten-free bread! No matter how busy they get, all orders are handled very quickly and accurately. The staff does a great job of keeping the restaurant clean and tidy. It’s worth navigating through the local traffic to get lunch here.

Ordered an egg bagel and a latte. Got the bagel pretty quickly but it took quite a while to get the latte. Good stuff, but I prefer the location on Mill Plain where the service is always excellent.

I went into this place because I was craving a bagel with cream cheese and bacon but instead I was so disappointed with the bagel it was hard and old and I couldn’t even see the cream cheese on it and forget about the bacon it only had one strip of bacon I paid $9.00 for what was supposed to be bacon and cream cheese but instead I got rob out of my bacon. Very disappointed place I feel robbed stay away.

Their bagels are absolutely the best. The process they use to get the bagel to the customer is awful. 10 minute wait for a bagel with butter on more than one occassion.

Today i tried calling Bagelman to place an order for my boyfriend to pick up. I tried calling 11 times thinking something was wrong with my phone or their phone. I had my boyfriend ask when he went there to order to only find out “we are not answering our phones anymore.” How can you be a business and not answer your phones? This must be new because i have called in orders before. Very inconvenient and in my opinion, unprofessional!! I will be ordering somewhere else.

This place has good bagels and great service. I always get an egg sandwich on a bagel and it is amazing and affordable. They are flavored coffees are good and their lunch sandwiches are good as well. Even when it is very busy they have a good system of keeping the line moving. I have been to the bagelman locations on Mill Plain Road and in Brookfield, this place definitely has it working better. Great for a quick affordable breakfast.

The food is good! But i hate the pick up area setup!!!! There is a big shelf in the way, and the workers don’t always see you. I went in to pick up my mobile order and maybe 5 people walked past it before a woman stopped. she just looked at me and said “are you waiting for something?” obviously! i’m standing at the pick up spot! finally she gave me my order that had been sitting there the whole time i was waiting!(5-10min). i almost went around and just got it myself. My fiancé says that the same thing happens to him almost every time he mobile orders😑

The Classic is delish. Also enjoyed my breakfast bagel, although it needs a little schmear or sauce or something. Was a little dry tasting. Bacon was meh, should have been more flavorful. Counter staff is friendly and helpful. No AC though, so be forewarned on a hot day its roasting in there.

Bagels are great but you wait 15mins or more for an egg sandwich. Everytime they mess up your order somehow. You order flavored coffee you get plain, over medium egg you get burnt outside runny white and yolk. Order a sandwich and ask for an extra like avocado or tomato and they charge you and dont put it on the sandwich! They have no idea wth they are doing here! horrible!

For the freshest bagels in the area its simply Bagelman, where they are made every morning on premise and have a dozen or so to chose from. The 3 Bagelman deli locations in this area are popular for breakfast and lunch and are closed by late afternoon. The coffee is okay but honestly you will get much better coffee at McDonalds or Chik-fil-a, both good alternatives for breakfast and lunch. Deli sandwhiches are the usual selections - nothing gourmet but quality meats and good sized portions.It can get busy at rush hour but the line moves fast. Note that the 3 locations, even though they share the same name, are slightly different: some have Wi-Fi, some dont. The pastry and muffin selections are different between them.Overall the _only_ place for a great bagel and a good choice for breakfast and lunch but dont be afraid to explore the many other choices nearby.
