Great service and friendly staff! Was supposed to drop off the vehicle and picked up later in the day, but they were able to do the work right away when I came and asked since I did not have a ride. Work was done within reasonable time and I also was able to work remotely using their WiFi at the place while waiting.

First the mobile tech came out to repair a small chip, but ended up failing to repair my windshield and the crack spread so I needed a full replacement. Went through insurance and Safelite replaced my windshield and while the glass itself is fine, they broke the power cable to my dashcam. Victor repeatedly promised me a call back with a solution each time I called to follow up. Not once did he return my call. I have been more than patient but now its been nearly a month without a solution but they keep brushing me off. I will never give the Danbury, CT location my business again.

Had my windshield replaced. Everything went smoothly. They told me how long it was going to take and it did! Great work. Nice guys.HOWEVER, If you need to call the general customer service number, it’s a complete waste of time. You can’t get a person on the phone even though they put you in a line to speak to a rep. Then the recording comes back on and starts you at the beginning. Real bad form.

In my 61 years of life I have never been treated so poorly by a company. They made 4 appointments and never showed up or called. It has been 2 months now. DO NOT USE them they are LIARS. Use a local shop.How can any shop be so incompetent as safelite. They really need to get their glass out of town.

Chose morning appointment online, arrived before 8 but had to leave the car all day for them to fit it into their schedule. The wait was several days for their mobile service, so its not nearly as convenient as the TV ads pitch. Looks like they did a nice job and quality work and the lifetime guarantee is appreciated.

The repair gentleman came to my home approximately two weeks ago told me he be back in a couple of days with my windshield to put it in and I have not seen them since and it has been over two week sand when I call them I cannot get to speak with a live person to find out what is going on.

A rock caused a small chip and crack on my windshield. We originally went to the Mount Kisco Safelite, where a representative told us that the windshield needed to be replaced. We came to this location for a second opinion.We worked with Tommy who said that a replacement was not necessary. He repaired the windshield quickly and effectively. He also cleaned the windows and vacuumed the car. Very happy with the service at this location.

I made an appointment through my auto insurance company for noon. The gentleman there told me it would take 60-90 minutes. I waited. There were complimentary coffee, water and snack items. It took 92 minutes. That was a good estimate considering all the walk in business there were experiencing. The job looks good and the front interior was vacuumed.

I wish i could give Negative Stars!!After 3 times wasting my time, taking time off from work, and going in yesterday after a medical procedure, Im finally done. First attempt, they forgot to order a moulding. Also the moulding they ordered was the wrong color. The second attempt, they returned my windshield by mistake. They didnt realize the error until they already removed my cracked windshield cracking it even more. They decided to put my now spider web crackedw back on the truck so i could get it home. Upon getting in my truck this morning, there was a puddle on my dash. They had not properly sealed the windshield in an attempt to rush me out. On round 3 today, they rushed to get me in before 8, and got my new windshield replaced as quick as they could. I received my vehicle and went to leave, the employee apologized for the inconvenience, but obviously did not request that I do a review because they knew what it was going to be. Before i could leave, i noticed that they never installed my windshield wipers. Not only did they not replace my windshield wiper blades and offer me any kind of compensation for the hassle that this was, but the windshield wipers werent even installed. I went back in to have the employees put them back on, and on my drive home i realized they put them in the wrong order. The driver side windshield wiper blade is larger than the other two and they mistakenly put it on the passenger side. Now i have a repair to do on my own because i would not trust to bring it back to that shop.

Dealing with Safelite has been a nightmare from start to finish. Long story short, a technician (who I wont name but probably should) came out to fix a chip in our windshield. If it had been over there, this would be 5 stars. However, he was unable to fix the chip and told us there would still be some black marks in the glass.The next day when I drove the car the chip was the same size as before so I called Safelite and they said they would send a different tech out to try again and see the problem. This time the same guy came back and was nasty to me for reporting him and complained that he was getting extra hours because of me. I felt very uncomfortable and he did nothing but call and say I needed a new windshield. When I spoke corporate they assured me he would be dealt with and not come back to me home since I was alone at my home with an angry person and I did not want that experience again.The next week on our scheduled appointment no one showed up. When I called Danbury they said the job was marked as complete and they didnt know why so wed have to reschedule. When I asked about confirming the harassing tech not return they had no idea what I was talking about and assured me the manager would call me and take care of it.No one called me, and the next week the SAME tech calls to say he is coming to replace a chip in the windshield. So two major problems: 1. He is the man who harassed me, who I was PROMISED would not be coming back and would be dealt with accordingly. 2. He didnt even know it was a full windshield replacement!I called Danbury again and they had no idea what I was talking about and said they would send someone else. So now a new person is coming and I am sure he will be lovely and do a good job (or I hope so!) but the stress of all this was literally unfathomable and the fact that no one actually noted any of my concerns was so stressful.

Just wanted to thank you for sending Victor Padilla out to my house to do the window in my Chevy Express tonight. The fact is this is a work truck and without it I cant work. Victor was running way behind and it started raining, I exclaimed my van had no window since the guy from Danbury who came on Saturday would not install it since there was surface rust. Anyway I really needed my van back and Victor came. I covered the van in the rain with a tarp and he did an amazing job under trying conditions to make sure I can get to work tomorrow. Great guy and definitely knows how to deal with a less than thrilled customer.

Orlando contacted me once around 9am to let me know he was going to be arriving between 12-3:00 p.m. Then a second time with a 30 min. window of when he would be at my work. I broke the back window on my car due to my negligence. Thank God I had glass insurance. Safelite was suppose to come out this afternoon to my work site to fix it but due to the rain the tech would not be able to make it out. I got a call from Amos first thing this morning telling me this but since I dont live too far from the shop if I could come in now they would be able to finish in 25 minutes and will be able to make it to work on time. Sure enough Amos took my car in and installed the new rear window. When finished he wanted me to see that the broken glass was cleaned up and wanted me to check to make sure I was satisfied which I was. He even noticed my rear windshield whiper blade was worn and suggested I replace it so it wont scratch my new window which he installed for me. And I made it to work on time. Amos was amazing and very friendly plus knowledgeable. I would recommend Safelite should you ever need them

In general, the service is great at Safelite. They have it down.As far as the glass goes, its definitely not near the quality of the original manufacturer. When you look through the glass you can see curves and warps. I guess thats to be expected, they dont advertise original manufacturer glass replacement.As far as Danbury, they did not vacuum out my back door where the glass was. Tons of glass inside the door and John there said its not our responsibility. However, corporate says it absolutely is our responsibility and they steered me to Mt. Kisco to have it done.So...if you go to Danbury either dont let John do your repair or tell them to make sure they vacuum the broken glass out of the vehicle.

My daughters car was broken into. My insurance company told me to use Safelite. Set up an appointment. When they tried to install the new glass they said it was not curved correctly. Told me they would get a new glass. Three weeks later no one has called. Called the number listed, which doesnt get you to the store, just the main offices. They told me someone would call me back that day. No one called. I call again today, the manager is not in. Some customer service....

Twice they never showed up or showed up unprepared and or rescheduled ONCE THEY WERE ALREADY LATE/no showing. Safelite as a company is a colossal waste of time. Pay someone more. Pay someone who will do it better and not waste your time and money (when we take off work to get our windshields fixed!!)

Safelite has automated themselves out of a repeat customer. Things have changed since my last experience with them. Strongly recommend dealing with a reputable local shop, unless you enjoy long waits on the phone for an unknowledgeable customer agents. Impossible to obtain a direct line to the shop, except through their 877 number. Had a confirmed appointment scheduled to have windshield replaced, made in advance. Dropped my truck off the night before for 8 am appointment. When I finally was able to reach Dan at their Danbury shop, he told me had did not have an appointment in his system. I had left my key, confirming email and phone number in drop envelope. One would think he would have initiated a call to me with a heads up that they had a problem. Biggest is not the best. Unless you want to be treated like a valueless number, do not subject yourself to this level of disregard and poor service.

Did body damage to my car. Came out and the front fender was completely bent inward which wasn’t there before. I told them about it and they tried to play it off like I was at fault for being angry about the situation. They said they would “honor it” and that I should “text them the next morning” and they would fix it free. Texted them the next morning and they never answered. Never wasting my time with these jerks ever again.

They ruined my windshield on my Mercedes E350, they were scheduled to replace my windshield in October 6,2015 the technician do not know what he was doing and called in for help they had the windshield off with lots of wires and realized they couldnt do it. They then could not put it back on properly and I had to take it to my Mercedes dealership where they had to realign the air cap and made the glass repair without replacing the windshield in the meantime since the safelight technicians took my windshield apart my keys do not unlock the car or lock the car unless I am very close to the car and I now need a new windshield because in there mishandling of the windshield wires were broken and the technicians are denying they ruined my windshieldDo not use this company they are owned by the insurance company and they are a scam dont be fooled dont use these people

Our letter to GEICO...I wanted to let you know of the disappointment in Safelite Autoglass in Danbury, CT. I brought my 2010 Nissan Armada in for a windshield replacement today, April 18, 2018. When I arrived home and looked at the windshield more closely, I saw the rubber seal in one of the corners wasn’t even tucked in. Shavings of rubber and glue were left on the dashboard AND there was a piece of bacon on the passenger side floor mat! I think the “technician” was interested more in eating his breakfast than he was on doing a good job installing the replacement windshield. I contacted them and NOW I will wait from 12-5 on Monday for them to come to my home to see what they can do! What a waste of time on both ends. I also understand they use “after market” glass. I wish there were other glass repair shops to choose from.

I brought my truck in for my scheduled appointment and I had a small fingernail crack from a rock. I was told 20 mins to fix it and to my surprise they come back and tell me that it cracked more!! I had to make a new appointment to get a brand new window installed plus have to pay out of pocket to re tint my window. I should have just left the small nick as it was. *** I Ill post an update once my window is replaced!!

If there was a option to rate negative 1 million stars i will. My service call started on Thursday April 7th 2016. I was supposed to have a windshield and 5 other pieces of glass repaired. They spent almost 4 hours on one window!! then called in 3 other techs to come help! They toke all severely scratched not broken windows out of the car installed only three!!! The fourth window right passenger window which was removed and upon trying to install the new window it was discovered the wrong window for the wrong car was ordered. The techs broke the four windows to try to retrofit the clamps from the old windows to a window that does not belong to the car!!!!!! When they this could not be accomplished they told me the window will be in the next day which was Friday the 8th and then the next day I was told the glass was coming from a shop on long island ( must long island on the other side of the country). Guess what on Monday no one called, no one followed up. I called the Danbury office numerous times no one answered I kept being redirected to the main office!! Finally the main office got a hold of someone called me back like 2 hours later promised me the would be on Tuesday April 12th three techs called no one showed up.. excuses from no techs available to window was not on the morning truck or Window never ordered to we will call you back to come between 12 and 5. now its Wednesday April 13th and still no window on the door and my door panel still laying on the garage floor. I did get a call from a gentleman in Houston Texas about an hour before writing this review and he assured me someone will call me tomorrow.. I sure hope someone calls and installs my window and in the mean time i will keep paying for a rental so My wife can take my children to school and she can go to work o This has a been one of the most expensive windows I have ever replaced. The funny part I am loser who paid them already for the job..
