My overall experience:The moment I walked into the dealership I was approached by Mitch with a warm welcome and a handshake. We chatted for a couple minutes in the lobby and discussed why I was looking into a new car. He wasn’t pushy and was open to answering all my questions before talking financials and contracts as it was important to make sure I ended up with a car I really wanted.Once we settled on the truck, he grabbed the exact one that I wanted to test drive (color and all) which was important. I hate test driving a car when it’s not the exact model you plan on walking away with. He offered me to test drive other options but I knew I found the option I wanted.We sat down, made a deal and I was the owner of a new Dodge Ram 1500 (and the process really was as easy as that sounds). They even chauffeured me around to drop off my old lease and over to the bank so I could finalize financials. Dealing with Mitch, the financial team and management, I was blown away by the overall service and stress free environment.I’d highly recommend visiting Danbury Dodge if you’re in the market for a new car. They were professional, interpersonal and knowledgeable. Not to mention ACTUALLY have cars available in this tough market.Definitely deserves all 5 stars!

Im guessing this dealership does enough business that they dont need mine. I arrived withal a little more than an hour to closing time at 8p - with my wife and baby. We experienced car trouble earlier on in the day, which is the reason we want to shop a new car. We communicated with the representative our needs for space and towing abilities, selected two models that would be appropriate, got them our licenses and made our way to the lot. We were introduced to the Grand Cherokee L, the vehicle was started, we even got as far as belting in the car seat with baby. Its now 730p, the representative went for a dealer plate, returning with news from the sales manager he would not allow a test drive! He said its too late for a test drive and wanted us to come inside and instead talk about the vehicle and the financing options! Right, like Im going to talk about these things having never driven the vehicle. Im coming from a vehicle with air ride suspension, so ride quality is very important. No, I wont talk finance with you. I wont mouth a word about this dealership except for how unprofessional this experience felt regarding customer care.

🍋 MONTH UPDATE 🍋Purchased this jeep here over a month ago. I had it for a week and a half. I repeat, A WEEK AND A HALF before it started having throttle issues. The car would speed up randomly and I had to fight against it. RPM was off the charts.They called me in to pick it up, charged me $106 without warning and said everything was fine. No check engine light no throttle lights nothing. I asked SPECIFICALLY if the car was good to go and asked about the above.Turned it off and back on again IN THE LOT and guess whos there on my dash! CHECK ENGINE AND THROTTLE LIGHT. So either they lied and didnt check it or they just cleared the code. Thanks.My car has been there for OVER A MONTH. Ive been having to keep asking for updates, my car is a LEMON 🍋 What is going on!?Also my sales guy doesnt work there anymore and texted me at 2:30am when I inquired about my vehicle. Ive never had an experience like this before.

My salesperson was very quiet and pressured me basically into getting the car I got asking “SO IF I GET THE PAYMENT DOWN DO WE HAVE A DEAL. DO WE HAVE A DEAL. IF I GET THE PAYMENT DOWN DK WE HAVE A DEAL.” I brought it in to get things fixed for my warranty and they ignored most of the complaints I had to be fixed. Didnt call me back when the power steering rack for my car came in, I had to call them and my warranty was just about up by that time. I don’t know if it was on purpose or not so they didnt have to fix everything else but now I’m shoving money into this car to get MAJOR problems fixed, which is strange because the test drive was so smooth. I do not suggest buying a car from here.

Walked in, got run around about specific questions on a couple vehicles. Friendly at first but quickly realized that this place was not only a schiesty business. Do not buy a car here!Its been over a month and I still have only one key fob. First they claimed they couldnt find it. Next it was the old owner couldnt find it. Now I have to drive all the way from Hamden on a Wednesday to get it. No, apparently it cant be mailed to us. Im happy to take it to a local dealer to get it programmed, but no response anymore from my sales guy.We also dont have the title yet, despite being told it was in the mail within a week of the sale.And we dont have a spare tire. The previous owner kept it? We cant get it until November, though Im leery about that date now. I understand that shipping is disrupted all over due to covid and dont mind waiting til November, if in fact, we can get it in November.You cant get anyone on the phone. They all transfer you to an extension that just has voicemail. The sales person has stopped answering our texts. Were not trying to be difficult, were just trying to get some answers. I feel like weve done everything we can to comply and be patient, but theres no resolution in sight.Hence this review...

This is a very poor dealership to go to. That being said there is poor customer service, unhelpful salespersons and very rude customer service. You’d have more help from the monkeys at the zoo than you would here when it comes to buying a car. First they blame faults on vehicles they lied about on the customers, they will smoke in front of your face and will fall asleep while you are talking to them. Beware of this dealership. If I had to choose between walking or buying a car from them, I’d walk.

My experience at this establishment was absolutely exquisite. My sales representative, who I’m not sure what his name was (Islander? Ishmael? Iscander?) did an amazing job. I don’t think I can ever buy a car from another person ever again. He helped me find the perfect car. I have never felt so comfortable crying in the car on the highway listening to Bad Bunny. These leather seats are just wow. I would definitely go back.

I was disappointed with the service. Our car broke down this afternoon.. After checking cars at Honda we arrived at 7pm to look at what this dealership would have. They took our license, our phone numbers, we buckled our 4 month old baby, started the car to then have the sales manager tell us that we couldnt test drive because it was too close to closing and he wanted to sit down and discuss payment plans instead. He could have seriously told us all that the minute we arrived and we wouldnt have wasted the time that we did by looking at the 2 vehicles we were interested in. I guess tomorrow we will check the other dealerships.

Love the Experience! Rachel Gershman helped me find the only model Jeep I wanted in a 500 mile radius. We got so much done over the phone, was in and out with finishing paper work hours later and had it delivered to me next day. Less than 24 hrs to my dream Jeep. Have been dealing with Danbury Dodge for over 15 years. Have purchased a number of vehicles from them and recommended them to numerous family members and friends. Most recently, dealt with a newer member of their team, Max. Max helped our family throughout the complete purchase process. He called when he said he would, returned any missed call quickly and was attentive to our needs. Even after the purchase, I thought we had an issue, and Max remained calm and professional. Turns out I was wrong, but Max was determined to make sure I was happy! Thanks, Max!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! 1 Star is WAY too many. My wife and I went to this dealership on Sunday, 8/1 to view a used Wrangler. It was super weird from the moment we arrived on the lot. Our sales rep, John, was basically asleep the entire time we were there. He knew nothing about the Jeep when asked simple questions, and even vaped mid-conversation—disgusting!Still, we liked the Jeep and reminded ourselves that were buying the car, not the dealer. We went inside to chat a bit more about some concerns about the power steering and some issues when backing up. We were introduced to the manager, who was also on planet zero. We honestly wondered if there was a gas leak in the dealership because everyone was so slow, there was not sense of urgency or care if we were interested in buying or not. I asked them what the heck was going on and couldnt get an answer besides its early and it has been a long week. The time was 12 noon. In the end, we ended up walking out. It was all way too weird. There are MANY other Jeep dealers in CT. I wouldnt waste my time on this one.
