Went in for a Smog test. Passed all the emission requirement but was failed because there was a mild seepage of oil from the valve cover. There was no oil even close to the exhaust manifold and no smell of burning oil. I was charged $81 and it was suggested that they could investigate the problem. The guy before me failed the emissions test and he was quoted $176 to just investigate his problem . My mechanic who has 50 years experience said that the oil on my engine was a minor problem and that there was no active oil leak, and that the conclusion of the tester was BS. The next smog tester I went to said the same and passed the car and I only paid $50. I certainly would not recommend this workshop to anyone.

Fantastic automobile shop. I highly recommend it for all of your automotive repair needs. I have always been treated fairly by the owner and they have been in operation since the 1960s which goes to show that they do business fairly and honestly with all of their customers.

Very unhappy with there service.Took my 2003 f150 in because it did not the pass smog test and its running real bad.They said the code came up bad cat converter.so they said i should change the air,gas filters and spark plugs and a oil change (less then 4500 miles on the plugs and air filter) the fuel filter is old (oil changed 2000 miles ago) I declined all of that knowing thats the root of the problem since it runs just fine for a 100 miles or so after the codes are cleared but what really got me was they did not even clean the dirty finger prints off the doors and hood I mean come on thats basic 101 stuff.never going back.

Went in for a smog check on a Saturday morning. Was in and out with no hassles or attempts at an upsell. Very trustworthy and competent. Plan on going back soon for more extensive work based on this experience.

I got a brake job here and after a couple days I heard a squeaking noise coming from the back wheel on the driver side. When I pulled over to check what is was I saw that all the bolts holding the wheel were not tightened down they were just finger tight. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Theyre nice and friendly, but thats where it ends.Had a fading brake pedal problem, after diagnosis they suggested to replace the master cylinder. This did not fix the problem, because none diagnosis was done - the problem was in the ABS HCU (as I later found out myself by looking up the forums - theres an easy way to check for that, as HCU has a special port for that, I did it in 10 min), which they quoted another 3k+ to replace (which is funny, given the cost of new OEM part is 1200, and the unit is easily accessible in the engine compartement -- so another 2k must be for labor). The final drop is when we discussed it on the phone, the guy said hed discuss it with the manager and call me back, but never did.
