The Banana Nut Pound Cake at the 99 ranch market bakery does not taste good! There are white egg shells inside the cake, very unsanitary. The cake was also so dry and not easy to swallow. The bakery does not make quality food. Sheng Kee bakery products are way better but they exclude the coupons from those and make us buy bad quality 99 ranch market bakery products!

They also have a nice selection of produce and a hot food location that has many delicious types of Chinese food. Generous portions very reasonably priced. The workers and the atmosphere is friendly. Theres also a couple of bakeries, a beauty salon, pedicures/manicures and a liquor store. Ive had a very nice experience every time.

My go-to emergency market. Huge parking, plenty of items to try, they have good cooked food at the corner. Dont miss to try them all. Yummy, great and affordable food.

It’s checkout system is straight from the 1980s. Want to do a quick run? Grab just one crucial dinner ingredient you forgot? Be prepared to stand 30 minutes in line with people who have entire shopping carts full. Truly rediculous.

I wouldnt go there again if somebody begged me. Mountains of junk food for impulse buying at the front of the store. Not to clean either was the store and their food buffet was a mix of boiled yick swimming in floured sauce!!! The shrimp balls were dried up and tasteless. I ended up buying some duck which was old and tough and the prices were ridiculous. Never again .. this store was strictly out of my realm. ONE STAR IS ALL I CAN GIVE THIS STORE .. ITS ONLY FIXED FOR AN APOCALYPSE.

My boyfriend took me inside here for the hot menu on the inside of the grocery store. He likes getting the dim sum and shrimp balls. Its always good hot, fast food here.

Wide range of products and a well laid out, clean, shopping experience. The staff were very helpful in finding what we needed as this was our first visit to this location. We got everything we needed. Everyone seems to be still be taking all the usual covid precautions so we felt very safe shopping here.

This is one of the better Asian market in the area. Meats are fresh. Store and aisle are small, but clean and fairly neat. Prices are okay with some sales... just have to know your prices for the best deals.

Mooncakes galore today. Found a very nice bag of lychees great produce and mushrooms. This is where I come to get quail eggs at reasonable instead of rip off prices.

Usually a busy place to shop. But great prices and food items you wouldnt be able to find at normal grocery stores. This is probably one of my favorite go to places to get food at. They offer PPE at the front and you can clean the cart. Everyone wears masks appropriately which is great. Parking can be a nightmare at times but during the pandemic you can usually find a spot or two.

THE place to go for Taiwanese groceries. I come here for all my asian veggies and more unique cuts of meat (eg beef hind shank for Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup). Theyve got all the yummy pickled radishes and bamboo shoots youd want to plate your congee. 100s of varieties of soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar, rice vinegar, rice wine, etc etc.Theyve also got hot, prepared food as well as barbecued meats like duck and pork spareribs. 99 Ranch is a medium sized asian supermarket with a wide variety of asian foods. It is a good place to find sauces and ingredients for cooking Chinese, Japanese and other cuisines.Fresh live fish is sold here as well. They offer a free deep frying service when you buy any fish from them.For those who are interested, pig organs, such as stomach, are also sold here.

Very nice store with different food selection

A decent sized supermarket that has everything I need. There is multiple checkout lines so it doesnt take too long during checkout. Although there is a private parking, its always full for some reason.

This is one of the larger grocery stores in the area that have an inventory of primarily Asian cuisine and food products. Fruits and vegetable assortment you dont find at traditional chain grocery stores. In addition 99 Ranch has a extensive fresh seafood assortment including live fish and shellfish selections.

Decent Ranch 99 in Daly City with good Asian selection, produce section, and dim sum/ cafeteria. No frills or service, but has everything you need to get your Asian grocery shopping done.

It was packed on a Saturday afternoon ... To be expected and parking was tough. No real social distancing inside but at least everyone was masked up.

Cooked food contains MSG so beware if youre sensitive!

Ill put my opinion about them in a one question.. Is it possible to find a better(consider cost and quality) choice of seafood in the city than here. I would say - NO!!! Keep going my Chinese fellows.

Some Markets that sell Sea Food and Hot plate can be very foul.This Market has been very well keep since the first day it opened.The prices are fair and I would pay their cost knowing they care about their customers and product.I have the option to catch but when I dont I buy here.

I went for the dim sum, which I havent had in forever. They raised the price by a dollar, but its still less expensive than other places and the dim sum is pretty good. Today it was very doughy and cold 😬 not good and then as I was eating my sticky rice, I found a long thick black hair 🤮 I was only 3 bites in. Couldnt finish it. Also you cant serve yourself anymore and it took them forever to finally help me. There were 3 of them behind the counter, not helping any customers. Super disappointed today with this place. After the hair, I wont be going back for a looooooong while if I ever do. Ew...

Expired product! Especially Kimchi, gave me diarrhea!! Do not buy refrigerated food here!!Never again!

Love Love Love this grocery store. It has beautiful produce. Dumpling choices to your hearts content. Condiments that fit your budget and ALL the snacks. My Boyfriend and I regularly go here for groceries and to fill our bellies. The self serve dim sum bar is a must so your not starving and over shop. But heck why not over shop here it’s a real gem! Staffs are very nice. I didn’t know the name of the sauce, the staffs hell me found the Douban Jiang, which is a Chinese sauce.

An incredible selection of basic and specialty Asian foods

I always gets enticed by the hot food department no matter how hard I try to stay away. It isnt a bad thing though! I definitely can cook one less dish when I get home with my groceries. Or Ill buy some self-serve dim sum that I can bring for my work lunch the next day. It helps that they have coupons right after grocery shopping that I can use right away (none of that use at next purchase nonsense). Keep a lookout for the coupons, the staff will usually hand them to you directly at the register.

Excellent place for Asian groceries

So many selections of different and delicious types of instant noodles. They’re easy, yummy and convenient. Perfect for work lunch if you want something fast. I’ve been stocking up on different instant ramen (trying out new kinds with whatever I see on sale for that week!) whenever I don’t have enough time to make a lunch for work. 99 ranch literally has a whole aisle filled with them. They range from Korean, Japanese, taiwanese to Chinese. You’ll definitely find something that fits your taste.

I really miss meandering through the aisles looking for new products, but we will all get through to the other side. Great spot for all your needs. Well organized and clean. I brought some frozen goods and can not get home ASAP, but the guys working at thr seafood station are kind enough to provide me a bag of ice. Although the ice smell a little fishy but that doesnt bother me.

They have so many items that you need including seeds for planting. I went there to get my household Indonesian supplies. We got mostly what we need except Cocopandan syrup. They dont carry them, they only carry passion fruit flavor syrup.

Human kindness = 0%! Before shopping my kids needed to use the restroom. So just outside of the cashiers, the restrooms are just to the left. As we were walking towards the restrooms, a young asian couple (yes Im Asian too!) stopped in front of the restroom entrance.The guy was going the same way. The restroom had a keypad, so we patiently for the young guy to come out. As hes coming out, I asked him, if he knew the code for the ladies restroom, hes response was in a different language and started walking towards the girl that was waiting for him. Looks like he was asking the girl about what I had said, then she started to hide from my view. They started chit chatting some more....wow it just seemed like forever. So i took my kids and walked right pass them, feeling very appalled! Found an employee inside 99 ranch and asked for the restroom and they were nice enough to direct us.Wow what an experience! I have mixed feelings, is this what covid is doing to us or are people naturally disregarding human kindness! I would love to to that too but I believe strongly in KARMA! Yeap, Ill leave to KARMA!

Although theyve implemented sanitizer and cart cleaning, the market still gets crowded with shoppers that dont really social distance. Im glad theyre open though since theyre a go to market for hot pot ingredients, which is perfect now that the temperature is cooling down!

Good grocery store for Chinese ingredients and some options for other Asian food ingredients. The store also have a good selection of packaged food. Thin sliced meat for hot pot is excellent. The sea food department is very decent. Not the cheapest though.

Got here today just to buy some frozen snacks. What I didnt realize that they also had a variety here so you dont have to travel far. The parking is great but Id wish theyd open up earlier as I had to wait an hour before they opened. Not bad for the service and products they provided.

Even with lines down several aisles at 11am on a Sunday, they dont have more employees to cashier and checkout customers. And the cashiers that are open should speed up some.

An Asian grocery store that has all kinds of Asian food. It also has regular grocery and seafood. This one is inside a mall that has other stores, including a Chinese bakery. I always love to pick some bread after grocery shopping.

Great place for getting a wide variety of items, particularly for Asian cuisines. Selection is very good and they do a pretty good job of keeping things stocked. Navigating the narrow aisles with a shopping cart can be a challenge, especially when the store is crowded. If youre going on the weekend, expect to fight for parking. Things get pretty dicey.

Price gouging. I understand theres shortage of certain items now, but 3,4 times more expensive than just 2 months ago is not due to seasonal demand change. But the line was not bad, theres cleaning solution at entrance and inside is clean and organized. Therefore, probably wont return again until its all back to normal.

I think this location just doesnt have as much stuff because Daly City is more densely populated. I always feel like Im missing one thing on my list, but overall great.

Come her with my wife a lot and it’s very hit or miss, some times we can find the rice we’re looking for other times it’s weeks without it arriving. Other than that m, good place to shop for groceries.

Very crowded parking lot so get there early if you can. Also very crowded stores and quite a variety to choose from. Theres always someone there if you need but its usually a customer.

Workers were very rude. We were walking up at 8:25 PM and they closed/locked the front doors AS we were trying to walk in. Store closes at 9PM! All we needed to do was pick up 1 thing and knew exactly where it was at. Horrible location. Never going again.
