Just drove all the way out here to drop off some limbs in the back of my pickup truck. Website did not mention any fees and when I walked in they said they just changed policies and havent updated their website. Wanted to charge $60 for a small truck bed. Wouldve been 5 stars if they honored their website.

I had 12 yards of aromatic cedar mulch delivered. Scheduling was simple and the delivery driver was wonderful. He delivered it right where I wanted it.I will use them again

Was quoted a lower price over phone 10 minutes before drop off then once I paid got my change asked where to drop off had the window closed in my face. Think I know why I was quoted wrong, horrible employees.

My dealings with Living Earth have been nothing short of horrible. Quoted one price and invoiced at a higher price. Missed three different promised delivery timesand not by a few minutes. Two times they never showed at all. I still don’t have 2/3 of my order. I won’t use them again!

My family and I have ordered from Living Earth many times over the past 15 years and have always been pleased. When my son went to pick up some play sand, a comedy of errors on both sides ensued and we ended up with bank sand instead. I wrote to them online on Christmas Day about the mishap and received a reply from Scott Bort the same day who promised to make it right and I was told to call Dan Styers the next day. Dan cheerfully promised to make it right and we will get the correct sand tomorrow. Wow! They went above and beyond to stand behind their product. Thank you!

I ordered 3 Cu yards of veg garden mix for garden raised beds and 1 cu yard of mulch.Having seen results for vegetables planted in that soil for last 2 months, have to say one must add fertilizer or miracle grow in that soil to see some good results else this soil seems to have no nutritional values to the plants despite the fancy names given to different soil grades. Plants grew dead slow until added miracle grow/fertilizer to the soil.

Okay so im only giving 3 starts because Mark has been very helpful with me on both of the deliveries that Ive spoken with him about. However yesterday I had to deal with the most rude and disrespectful customer service by a person named Carlos, when I asked for Mark he refused to pass my line to him and said that he was the one who takes orders HE EVEN RAISED HIS VOICE. I never expected this from living earth i had such a good experience with Mark and I am deeply bothered with the way I was spoken to yesterday

Called yesterday and placed a order for pick-up with Sylvia for 3 of those 1 yard bags of mulch they sell. I asked for a total and she rudely told me they were short staffed and that she had to call me back which she never did call me back. I had to call them back only to find out they had closed for the day. I needed those bags by today early morning for my workers to start. So I went SBS for the mulch instead. Didn’t get exactly what I wanted but hey at least they were professional and efficient.

I asked for quote of 4 yards of top soil and got an immediate repose from Living Earth. They gave me how much each yard would cost and a delivery cost. I then ordered for a weekend delivery and they were on time. The top soil was high quality.

Terrible customer service. I placed an order for delivery and provided my credit card information. The day of delivery they never showed up. When I called to find out why the material wasnt delivered, they couldnt find any record of order (this is after Ive provided all my credit card information). Then customer service put me on hold for 15 minutes. I just hung up. Will go elsewhere. If the charge shows up on my bank statement I will be really upset.Seriously, get it together.

Called today to get my order delivered only to be put on hold for a long period of time. Hung up called back and the same woman who if I recall I believe she said her name was Sylvia answered the phone and placed me on hold again. I don’t know if she was having a bad day which I get it if she was but when she finally picked up the phone sheesh her phone etiquette is without a doubt not customer friendly at all. When I would attempt to ask a question she would cut me off. Eventually I just hung up and took my business elsewhere. I’ll give the company 3 stars because I know the product is great quality but she kind of ruined my day making something so simple a bad experience. I’ll definitely try again in the future.

New homeowner shopping around looking for best prices and came across this company at the California Crossing location. Called to ask few questions about some of the materials prices and delivery. Their Hold time is ridiculous. Lady who answered phone is no professional.

Weve done several major yard projects at our home using materials from Living Earth, and their prices and customer service always impress us. Brenda was especially helpful this week when I was ordering materials over the phone (due to the shelter in place rules). She even joined me on FaceTime so she could ensure her team was picking the right stones for us. Thank you again, Living Earth!

Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience with Living Earth in the Dallas Area (Lancaster). I purchased a truckload of material for a vegetable garden. What I saw at the yard and what arrived at my home were two different things. At home, there was sand mixed with material but no living material was in the mulch. It wasnt the same. Wouldnt support vegetable life. I had to bring in an equal truck load of manure to make it work. On top of that, I have personally pick out 5-7 gallons of glass shards of various sizes and colors. This was awful. Ive been nice. I contacted them back in February. Got a call or two, and a few e-mails, but nothing. Contacted BBB. Nothing. Im sorry but I would not recommend Living Earth in the Dallas area. Note: Im not looking to get something for nothing. I just got a product that was useless and full of glass.

We needed dirt ASAP & it was Friday morning. My husband spoke with our landscaper that recommended Living Earth. It was delivered Sat. morning to another home we own. The driver was professional & the quality of the dirt is excellent. Light & easy to work with. My husband had some questions regarding sealing decomposed granite. He spoke with Oscar & he invited him to the store to show him what product to use & how to apply it. Dealing with Living Earth has been a positive experience. Thank you.

Update: A day after I posted my 1 star review my rocks were finally delivered. Mark called me that day and apologized. He got me on schedule asap. They sent me a little extra, which was nice. Product was exactly as expected. Hopefully their staffing problems will get better after covid.Original review: I am having a similar experience as Nicole. I have called them 6 times (I have the logs to prove it) since May 13th. I provided an address and credit card info TWICE. Waited days for a call from dispatch the first time, and no delivery was made. Called and set it up again, trying to be understanding with covid. Waited for dispatch again, and again no call and no delivery. I was assured by Mark that I would get a call. I called again today to get an ETA on my delivery, and Mark said he would call dispatch and call me back. That was 1.5 hours ago. I give up. I just want to cancel the order, but when I called at 3:50pm, it says they are closed. So can the owner please be sure to message me so I can cancel my order! I am trying to be understanding and I want to support local business, but this is too difficult. I have a project to complete. I will bump you back to 3 stars if you can cancel the order without screwing it up.

Service delivery was great. Veggie Mix is not gardening quality soil. Should probably change its name as it’s misleading to the consumer.

Great soil, great customer service and even the delivery guy was very courteous and helpful. He had to drop dirt in 2-3 different spots. He did all that with a smile; wasnt bothered by this. Way to go guys!

Good customer service, the delivery was nice, but the veggie mix they say is good for growing vegetables is sub-par. Looks like it is mostly peat moss, i was hoping to see a lot more compost. I filled raised beds with it and the vegetables are not doing too well.

I called in to get prices and the guy gave me prices i wrote all down today i called in to make the payment and give them the delivery address and the prices the guy gave me where way off $100.00 as well he had said that i would only pay $30.00 for fuel delivery charge guess what nop now was $85.75 SO PLEASE GET ALL QUOTES BY EMAIL OR IN WRITING YOU CANT TRUST THEM .. THEN I SPOKE TO LAURA ABOUT THE SITUATION BECAUSE I GAVE MY CUSTOMER THIS PRICES NOW I HAVE TO GO BACK AND RE QUOTE HOPING I DONT LOOSE MY CUSTOMER BECAUSE OF THEIR MISTAKE ! Really dont know what goes in there soil. there is some plastic tubes that have samples. Bought some really expesive dirt so i can plant grass. wouldnt recomend this place to anyone.
