Tasty! This place has a very interesting take on ice cream, the employees are fun and friendly and the flavor combinations are stellar. I believe that the recipes change from time to time. This place can get pretty busy on a Friday and Saturday night so be prepared to wait a little while for your creation. They also will write your name in the flat mold before rolling it. Very tasty and interesting! Will be back.
A little place for ice cream heaven. The process they take to make your ice cream is so amazing to watch. To see how the rolls form from the freezing cold temperature is something else. The presentation is of the ice cream is top notch. Each one you order is about $10 and it’s a good portion as well so you won’t be disappointed about the size. There’s sitting to the side of the building and think there was restroom. Definitely worth a try and would come back for seconds. Enjoy my foodie connoisseurs.
Super intriguing and unique ice cream shop! I went to this place just for the looks of the ice cream thinking it would taste alright. Turns out the ice cream not only looks awesome it is some of the best ice cream I have ever tasted! They also personalize it so they write your name on the ice cream before it is rolled up! Go to this place ASAP you won’t regret it at all!
This place is amazing! Not only is the ice cream delicious but the staff are wonderful as well.. Delicious ice cream, friendly employees and good presentation. But be prepared to wait especially if you are visiting in the evening. They have mostly chocolate and peanut desserts, but the ice cream/topping variation/combination is just so good!. The Ice Cream was really treat.
The place is very small and service is extremely slow plus customer service is HORRIBLEEEEE!!!! Not sure those $7 Dollars are worth it. I prefer to go to Braums is more the show they do but it doesnt taste any difference than Braums.. I think Braums is way better and cheaper.. Im not saying the flavor is bad.. its just the service was disappointing!
See the pics.... i uploaded photos and my 5 stars are for following reasonsFood:1.Green tea Strawberry2.Banana nutella.are very good flavours i urge all to try with coconut flakes (they dont spoil taste instead add better texture to chew) on them.....these 2 are not over suggary at all and they have pretty damn different texture than other options.....gotta try these two......kitkat n coffee seemed nice too but i didnt choose tit.....Place :i guess its the first popular roll it up icecreamIts DownTown small busy conjusted for huge crowd VERYYYY HAPPENING, best times to visit - night times......
The ice cream was delicious and it was cool to watch them make it! If you got any sauce they spelled your name with it and that was pretty cool.I would have given it 5 stars but the wait was too long (I went Thursday around 12:00am) and it was $7 for a small cup. I will be back anytime Im in Deep Ellum if the line isnt too long!
Really cool place for rolled ice cream (haha see what I did there?) The guy that works there wrote our names on them in chocolate sauce before he rolled them up and even put glasses on my smiley face (because I wear glasses). It was kind of a wait because there was a line, but definitely worth it. I got the Monkey Business andy boyfriend got the Pinky Promise.
Dont even try going to this place they closed it down and their website doesnt say it...we literally walked in cirlles 3 times all to find out its out of buisness 🤦♀️
I was quite disappointed with my first experience here. I had seen many videos online of this rolled ice cream, and of course I had to try it out. I went in the evening and they were quite busy, but they only had 2 staff members working! There is no room to wait in the building so often people are waiting outside. I got the mango maniac which was okay, but when I saw them take mango straight from a can, it made me even more disappointed. All of this for $7! The ice cream was still good, but it was a huge let down for me.
Good ice cream quality and the service is really good.
We were going to get rolled ice cream here, but when we came in we were not greeted. The staff did not even make eye contact and kept talking to each other as they made an order. It was also quite hot inside and smelled like hot cream. Not the best smell. For $7 a cup, we decided to keep walking instead of ordering. The ice cream might be excellent, but I dont know because it was not inviting at all.
The ice cream was great but they need a menu redesign (flavors of ice cream, then toppings available, then the in-store combos). The options were unclear. The protocol was unclear. The girl that took my order was quiet and unclear. She didnt seem to know what she was doing. Of five staff members and multiple freezer tables, they only used one of them at a time, so three ice creams took ages to be done. One ponytail guy was great, though (a whole extra star for him), and the ice cream was tasty. I hope they take care of the staffing issue and train up so that they can grow.
Pros: ice cream was the best-tasting rolled ice cream in dfw ive had so far. not too frigid to scoop out, extremely creamy and yummy. the thing where they write your name on the ice cream before they roll it up is super cute.cons: super tiny place and smells kinda funky. only seating is outside, which are wooden benches and probably get full when the place is crowded. we waited a while and had a few people ahead of us, so i can only imagine how bad the wait is when its crowded -- and youd have to wait outside, too. when they turn on the music its super loud and the bass is crazy, so talking to other people inside is a no-go. they dont have as many flavor or topping choices as other places at the same price like ny ice.
So good kind workers and realy good ice cream
My first time experiencing this kind of ice cream was dope. The creator took syrup and wrote two of my people name’s inside the ice cream it was cool. Perfect art. The taste was dope as well. We got to sit outside at the tables and eat. I’m going back again during evening hours, I heard it’s live around that time.
This place is closed. Wasted a trip for this and jeni’s sucks too which is next to it
Stopped by after a long hot day of walking around downtown Dallas. The ice cream here definitely hit the spot. Though the place was a bit busy, the staff was friendly and willing to help with any questions. Since this is rolled ice cream, it can take a few minutes to get your order, but its definitely worth the wait.
I really enjoy the was the ice cream is served. In terms of flavor on the other hand, there’s nothing special about it. It’s good ice cream and a fun atmosphere.
Best Matcha ice cream ever!It does take a while but it’s 100% worth the wait.Went today and it’s closed due to lease been over, I’ll miss it.
Busy considering it was a cold day but so worth the wait!! Took my sweet 16 daughter there and the owner was so sweet. He wished her a Happy birthday and added a few extra yummies to her ice cream! She loved it!!
The employees are extremely nice, and at least appear to enjoy their job. The toppings are great and free as well. Watching them make your ice cream is interesting and fun. The wait isnt too long, but it can be an issue when theyre busy. It can also get very cramped in the tiny little area that they operate in. Its also somewhat pricey for what you get. I would recommend going here if you happen to be in the area.
I have NEVER waited longer at an ice cream place. The product itself might be good but employees don’t seem to care a lick about their jobs or serving customers. I saw an employee disappear for 5 minutes and another for 10 when there was a line far out the door. They work as if time were moving at half speed. Of the 4, one seemed to be working. BE READY TO WAIT 45 MINUTES FOR ICE CREAM.
Delicious! I enjoy this style of ice cream because it seems to melt just a bit slower. This place has a fun variety of flavours. It can get backed up in there but it is totally worth the wait!
If you want some unique ice cream choices come here. This place is great great GREAT! I love it here. Ideal place for a first date, dessert after dinner downtown or just for some ice cream munchies. Employees were nice and helpful. Dope environment, dope location (dope means cool).
Love the ice cream here. The place is pretty popular and almost always has some sort of a line but its worth it. Only $7 and you get whatever toppings you want added in. Not a lot of seating here but most people leave eating their ice cream and walk the area. Have recommended this place to my friends.
The ice cream is so delicious also it’s nice that you’re able to see them make it. When you step out there’s a nice area to sit and enjoy the ice cream while socializing. I highly recommend it.
Honestly its so cool how good they are when handling the ice cream plus the amazing flavors they have. Dont let the outside get to you. Its really good and the people are quick but take their time on getting the job done. Would give 6/5 if I could!!
No longer open at this location, but it’s not updated on google. Just a heads up
