MinnowsFishing license everything you need

I’m very glad that this place is here to provide the needed provisions for an excursion to White Rock Lake. They have refreshments and snacks. And as best as I can determine, no other place even close to the lake (within miles - certainly not walking distance) provides fishing supplies, tackle, and bait. I was even able to get my fishing license here, and the guy working there was very helpful with that process. This place is a White Rock area treasure, and I plan on giving as much of my business as possible to the Lion Beverage on Gaston.

I really like this c-store. Maybe it is the smell of the live minnows in the tanks behind the counter. It is like I am 7 years old again going to the local bait shop with my grand-dad. If you like minnows, need some minnows or minnow related odor them Lion Beverage has you covered.

With there minnows they don’t weigh them if you’re buying like a half pound or a whole pound. So you really don’t know how much you’re getting. So basically you’re getting ripped off. The only reason I’m giving them two stars is because they’re the only place that has live bait around White Rock lake

I always have a good experience here. They are very friendly. And Its the only local store where you can get beer, snacks and fishing supplies. Live minnows! And Its right up the street from White Rock lake! And if you run out of bait or minnows, call and theyll bring it to you at the lake! No one else gives you this outstanding service!

Unreliable store hours. Been twice at around 8:15 AM to buy live bait and store was closed both times despite posting 8:00 AM opening time.
