This is the worst place to consign with. I listed a Carolina herrera dress with them and after 2 months, I asked for it back because I was disappointed at how low my other items sold for, plus the commission was outrageous. All they did was to send promotional emails and never addressed my concerns. My dress isnt listed anymore but no one will tell me where it is. Never again. This company is a fraud.
Purchased a Chanel Classic Flap Handbag ($3000+) from this store that was advertised with the original box included. The sales person (Abby) couldn’t find the box when I was in the store but told me that she would call the Chicago office & have it sent the following week. It’s been months & now I’m being told that the box is no longer available. Lied to sell an expensive handbag. Very unprofessional!
Worst resale experience ever. I wish I could give a “-1 star”. Horrible communication between seller and LGS. I had an okay experience with them the first time I sold an article of clothing. Took over 6 months to sell, but I wasn’t in a hurry. The second time I listed a coat (seen on the runway) with them. It was on their website for quite a while. I called to get it back because I assumed it wasn’t going to sell. At that time they told me it had sold, and after the allotted time they would send me a check. I asked how long that was, and the salesperson couldn’t give me a date. I called back a month later, wondering where the check was and they said it hadn’t sold. I wanted an explanation as to where the coat was, and why they hadn’t informed me that it didn’t sell after they told me it had. Why they didn’t bother to let me know. She tried to connect me to the Dallas store, but no one answered. (You cannot directly call the store.) No one answered, after calling back and being transferred twice, so the woman said she would have someone from Dallas call me back. Someone called back about an hour later and told me the customer hadn’t paid in time. She didn’t apologize for the miscommunication. I told her the coat was not on their website. She said it was in their warehouse. Evidently they had just stopped trying to sell it. I guess they thought I was going to forget about a $2500 coat. I told her I’d like to pick it up and sell it myself. I asked when I could pick it up, and she said it would take 2 weeks to get back!Never again!!
Shopped them online and Ebay, then found out they had an actual store in Dallas. Its not your average resale store where you kinda take time to find things. Here: everything is by color, looks and feels like a boutique, service is tailored to match your needs - whether you are browsing, looking for a particular piece, or would like to consign. Very knowledgeable and professional staff. They can offer to bring in pieces for you to try on before you buy (FYI, its a consignment business and their return policies will differ from regular stores: some items have a short window for return, some are final sale); as i always say - ask before you buy. Overall, great selection of high-end designer names, and prices are competitive.
This company is a fraud and tells lies to make a sale. They have representatives that actively lie to customers to save face. Their stuff is also mostly old junk (smells bad) when you see it in person. Their consigning process takes a long time and does a poor job of vetting items. Their items are probably counterfeit because of the poor management and low standards.
Sadly they no longer have a Dallas store. Great place to consign and shop. Curated beautifully. Staff is super kind and helpful.
I was a big fan of this place until recently: there was a purse I really liked but it was in their warehouse. I really really wanted this purse so i came in and asked if they could ship it to the store (which is something theyll do if you live near a location) or if I should just buy it online bc I told them I was afraid someone else would swoop in and buy it. They assured me that when they order something to the store for a customer they put the item on hold and they dont sell it. Well I was out of town for 5 days (which I told them, because I was concerned someone would buy it while i was out of town!) and I get a text while Im out of town which essentially said - sorry someone bought it online. I dont appreciate being lied to and told that they would hold the item for me especially since I would have paid for it online if Id known someone could buy it out from under me! My mom and I shop here a lot and my mom has spent thousands of dollars here and weve recommended it to several of our friends. Im very disappointed with the way this turned out and I really expected better from LGS.
I bought a jacket from these guys that was to small tried to return for a refund and was told no. How can people run a business when they treat their customers like this. Buyers beware Im truly disgusted with the guys and lost money. No more shopping here for me!!!
The WORST customer service. The whole company doesn’t know what they’re doing. DO NOT consign here or BUY anything.
