Incredible little hidden gem in Dallas near the Texas A&M School of Dentistry! The coffee is excellent and the empanadas are top shelf. Well worth the visit!

I dont drink coffee, but I like to try new things so I tried their Cuban coffee with double shots of espresso. The coffee is smooth, not bitter like the other coffees I have tried. It is delicious. Oh and the chicken empanadas are yummy! If you buy 9 coffees you get the tenth one free. The people are so nice and welcoming.

Honestly, there was nothing really wrong with Espumoso (translates to foaming)... except that it didnt meet my expectations. You see, i planned for days, then took a bus to Smoky Rose BBQ, only to find it defunct. An outdoor table blocked passage to the next-door Potbelly Sandwich Shop, so i went to the other next-door, Espumoso... intrigued because i saw a sidewalk sign that said Street Tacos. I rolled in at a little past 4PM to be met with The kitchen is closed... at 2:00. Im guessing that the place mainly serves the lunch crowd from Baylor. They had some tired-looking empanadas in a glass case. Now desperate for Tex-Mex, but never having had an empanada, i confusedly selected a ham & cheese and a beef & potato. I took 2 because they were little. I was a bit surprised when 2 little empanadas and a soda ruined a ten-dollar bill. I ate them there, with some tasty creamy salsa verde. And, there was a self-serve soda machine! Throughout, the guy behind the counter was extremely friendly and attentive.As soon as i got off the bus near my apt, i rolled straight to Tonys Neighborhood Store and bought 3 tacos al pastor, and over-ate to satisfy my craving for Tex-Mex.

Best arepas I have had in Texas.Good empanadas too, the coffee is amazing as well. I haven’t tried the pastries but everything I have had is delicious. Highly recommend this place.

This little shop by Baylor Hospital campus is absolutely a hidden gem. The empanadas are outstanding - flaky crusted pockets of hot delicious, hearty, tasty food. Street tacos are the real thing. I get a latte every time because they beat Starbucks by a country mile. It’s one of the best things about living in this neighborhood!If you haven’t had a breakfast arepa from this amazing little Colombian restaurant, you haven’t lived! Absolutely delicious! I had to edit this review just for this arepa.

A perfect place to try something unconventional. Dulce de Leche latte with a chicken and cheese empanada, and a Romeo and Juliet pastry filled withcream cheese and guava OMG!!! I don’t have the words to describe perfection in a flaky crust!!!

Espumoso has the best Empanadas in Dallas hands down! I first discovered them in bishop arts but found out they have a location at Baylor (much closer to my office!) the location is not ideal as parking is a hassle. You have to park on the 2nd level of the garage and take a ticket and you only have so long before you’re charged to park. However, it’s worth it. Their beef and potato Empanadas are the best and they have a killer iced chai! Also, ask for extra salsa, you are going to want it!

So.....? It was ok. Not what I thought it was gonna be. My Frappuccino was strong, worth it. My street style tacos? Just chicken or beef was the option. My cousin got a quesadilla was not the best 😕.

Overall a really good spot. The food was fantastic. I had the breakfast areapa with chorizo and it was FANTASTIC. The empanadas are all made in house and the ly were really good. The only thing I wish was better was the coffee...I just got a large drip and it tasted super dark like Starbucks which to me doesnt have much flavor. Overall I highly recommend this spot!

First time eating here. Asked for the largest item and I got the Steak Fajita Quesadilla. It was excellent. Fresh ingredients and piping hot. The cream hot sauce was really good.

Very disappointed i had ordered 3 beef and potato empanadas paid and even left a tip to soon find out that I was given 3 ham and cheese. And I like cheese but these had way too much cheese. I dont think I will be coming back.

This place never stops surprising me. The food is fresh and the espressos are comforting. The best part is the foam of their drinks. Its some of the best Ive ever had. Like little clouds to top off your espresso with a gentle dust of cinnamon.Honestly the placement is wonderful also. We use to have to go to the doctor just above it, so after hearing what the doctor says we would come down and relax after stressful visits.Truely one of a kind and worth a try at least once.

I got a chocolate muffin (i ASKED- ARE THEY FRESH?) I guess i should have asked Was THAT 1 FRESH?It WASNT!! No muffin CRUMBLES when you bite into it. But the chicken n cheese espanada was good, but not as they normally are. And when she asked if i wanted sauce, i said Yes, 2 as she was grabbing the Green one, but she gave me only 1😒😕

Stopped in at this place Id never heard of yesterday a little before noon and ordered a latte...and it turned out to be one of the best Ive ever had. Young woman behind the counter was very courteous and pleasant, and certainly knows her stuff. Wish I had gotten her name, so I could have credited her. Have told others about Espumoso, and will return myself.

Beef and potato empanadas and both sauces were really good! Everyone was so friendly as well!The vibe was super chill and the music was not super loud like it can be at other places.

They are very slow. I like the breakfast tacos but unless you are hispanic youll be last and youll have to wait. Very chinchy with the hot sauce but its good. Will not answer the phone so you can place an order and not have to wait so long.

I absolutely love this place. The emapanadas and arepas are delicious, and its a huge plus that they offer vegetarian items on their menu. The coffee and espresso drunks are amazing as well! I definitely suggest stopping by here if you are in the area.

1.) My milk hasnt been burnt.2.) The empanadas have been consistently fresh and we buy them on a weekly basis...because theyre so close and delicious. Veggies options a plus.3.) The burritos are yummy and the tortillas pass the realness taste.4.) The green sauce is good. The red sauce is ok. Both are not spicy but thats ok.5.) The recyclable bags/containers get an A+ in my book.6.) The peeps are nice even when theres a lunch crowd rush.

This has turned into one of my fav spots to walk to every morning on weekdays. The two ladies are very sweet and polite and they just know how to make my DULCE DE LECHE so GOOD. HIGHLY recommend this place

Staff is always super even when they have a full house. The service was very friendly and kind. Bring your hunger - portions are generous. Menu is similar to a restaurant in El Paso I loved.

Love to drop by and get a Cafe con Leche in the morning and maybe a pastry or breakfast empanadas. Nice staff that will help you with the menu. Lunch is awesome too and I dont feel over stuffed when I leave. My favorite Lunch item is the pabellon arepa.

The empanadas were not fresh. The cheese in both was over baked and dry. The coffee and desert made up for it but I wont be back. It is not convenient.

I Was really looking forward to coffee this morning but it tastes like they burnt my milk. Scorched milk is absolutely horrible. Please watch the temperature you are heating the milk too, it’s different for each kind of milk. Not all milks are they same and can withstand the same amount of heat.
